Kidawa-Błońska:

I loudly stated that the May elections could not take place, and Rafał entered this campaign with new energy, and I see that Poles trust him

[Rafał Trzaskowski] is a different candidate [than me] and the times are different. I started my campaign before the pandemic. I brought it about, and I spoke loudly about it, that the May elections could not take place, and Rafał entered this campaign with new energy, and I see that Poles trust him, because it really is again the kind of energy I remember from autumn, from the beginning of the year, that people want to participate in elections, that they care about them, that they want to talk. The world has changed after the pandemic, and it seems to me that Rafał is a very good candidate” - said the Deputy Marshal of the Sejm, Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska from Civic Coalition, in a conversation with Krzysztof Skórzyński on "Jeden na jeden" on TVN24.

07:53

Kidawa-Błońska:

We'll likely have to wait for women in politics, in top offices, because the impression persists that a strong politician is a man

I am a person who wants to build community, who wants to unite. I wanted to lead to a situation where Poles talk to each other again. Men are judged as bigger fighters. We'll likely have to wait for women in politics, in top offices, because the impression persists that a strong politician is a man, even though I believe that women are not only stronger, but more resilient and are long-distance runners, but that time is ahead of us” - said Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, Deputy Marshal of the Sejm from Civic Coalition, on TVN24.

07:54

Kidawa-Błońska:

It's Not My Defeat, Because I Achieved What I Set Out to Do – Mobilize People and Prevent Elections During a Pandemic

"It's not my defeat, because what I set out to do, which was to mobilize people and ensure that elections were not held during the pandemic, I managed to achieve. I will be pleased and proud if Rafał wins these elections. And difficult decisions about whether to run or not, one has to make oneself. It was my decision. Of course, I listened to the remarks and suggestions of my colleagues, but it was my independent decision" – said Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, Deputy Marshal of the Sejm from the Civic Coalition, on TVN24.

Szczerski:

The Family Charter is a Summary of the President's Five-Year Policy; He Placed Family at the Core of His Agenda. Family is the Foundation of Social Life.

- This [Family] Charter is a summary consequence of the President's policy over the last 5 years, during which he truly placed family at the center of his policy, because family is the foundation of social life, as well as social security, and today, social order in Poland. The President has consistently supported this Polish family for the last 5 years through legislative actions concerning support for families, but also in every other area. This charter de facto summarizes and guarantees the continuation of this policy in the future, which places family at the center of social life, because that's simply how it is. It's something we experience every day, even in these difficult times of the pandemic, that we can rely on family the most. If the family is cohesive, stays together, we are all safer. This charter shows all the most important aspects of the family policy that the President is pursuing, meaning on the one hand, support for families, and on the other hand, constitutional guarantees, the definition of marriage, and what Polish social order looks like. The President stands guard over the Constitution, and this charter simply invokes the constitutional guarantees of security for Polish families. The President also stands guard over freedom in Poland, and the freedom of parents to shape the upbringing of their children according to the family model that parents deem appropriate - stated Krzysztof Szczerski in "Sygnały dnia" (Signals of the Day) on PR1.

07:56

Kidawa-Błońska:

There's No Such Thing as LGBT Ideology, So It's a Substitute and Untrue Topic

There's no such thing as LGBT ideology, so it's a substitute and untrue topic. I traveled all over Poland for a very long time and a lot, and I spoke with people. It wasn't a topic that Poles wanted to discuss. PiS, because they are losing popularity and the trust of Poles, as the chaos in our country is enormous, they haven't managed to implement a single thing, there is chaos in every area, they are looking for substitute topics. They think they will succeed – as in the previous parliamentary elections – when they invented the refugee problem” – stated the Deputy Marshal of the Sejm, Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska from Civic Coalition, on TVN24.

07:58

Szczerski:

The Attack on the Family Charter Reveals the Choice Poles Face in These Elections
There is no element in this charter that infringes upon anyone's dignity or respect for anyone. However, in other aspects, this [family] charter and the attacks on it have indeed shown the choice we Poles face today, including in this presidential election. It turns out that seemingly obvious matters, such as social assistance for families, constitutional guarantees of marriage, or parental freedom, are disliked by those who are political competitors to the President in this election. Poles will make a choice: whether they are for parental freedom, the social rights of the family, and the Polish Constitution, or against them – stated Krzysztof Szczerski in "Sygnały dnia" (Signals of the Day) on PR1.

08:04

Müller:

Just Repeat Trzaskowski's Quotes on Relocation, 500+ Causing Budget Catastrophe, and First Same-Sex Wedding as Warsaw Mayor

- We are appealing to Rafał Trzaskowski, and to other candidates, that in these important areas, they should simply state their views directly, so that Poles, when choosing a specific candidate, are aware of which views they are supporting, and what their position is. In this case, it is enough to repeat a few of Rafał Trzaskowski's quotes, for example regarding Poland needing to undertake relocation, needing to agree to certain things concerning relocation, that the 500+ program will cause a budget catastrophe; there is a whole mass of such statements. Just like the fact that he would like, as the mayor of Warsaw, to officiate the first wedding for a homosexual couple. Therefore, let him speak about it directly - said Piotr Müller in an interview with Michał Rachoń on TVP Info's "Jedziemy".

08:04

Szczerski:

Grodzki Embodies the Opposition; a Presidential Change Would Paralyze Poland Just as Parliament is Now

- Marshal Grodzki today is an emanation of the opposition, and it's evident that were there to be a change in the Presidential Palace, all of Poland would be paralyzed just as parliamentary work is paralyzed today. It's clearly visible that, regardless of anything, because Marshal Grodzki, out of spite towards the President and the parliamentary majority, is blocking good things for Poles. This means that all talk about him cooperating with the government on good matters for the sake of positivity should be thrown out. An opposition president, an opposition Senate Marshal, will not cooperate with the government on good matters for Poles, because the education voucher and everything else being blocked in the Senate, the tourist voucher – these are good things for Poles. It's clear that even good things for Poles will be blocked by an opposition president, because that's what the Marshal of the Senate is doing today in the name of an opposition candidate for president - stated Krzysztof Szczerski on PR1's "Sygnały dnia".

08:07

Müller:

We are on the right track regarding increasing the US military presence in Poland

- We are on the right track regarding increasing the US military presence in Poland, which means greater security for NATO's eastern flank, thus enhancing the security of this area of NATO and the EU - said Piotr Müller on TVP Info.

08:20

Szczerski:

I Suspect Numerous 'Insertions' Written in Various Alphabets Will Appear in Polish Public Debate During This Campaign, and Opposition Journalists and Politicians Will Immediately Seize Them
This information is complete disinformation, not information. The same Reuters, just a few days prior, said something completely opposite, that American troops would be transferred to Poland from Germany, so Reuters itself is getting lost in its statements and saying two completely contradictory things. We are dealing with complete disinformation – stated Krzysztof Szczerski in "Sygnały dnia" (Signals of the Day) on PR1. Polish opposition, both journalistic and party political opposition, immediately seizes every piece of information thrown onto the internet, as long as it harms Poland, as long as it harms the current authorities, and they are capable of uncritically falling for any such lure and immediately repeating it, which unfortunately means that I suspect that during this campaign, for the next two weeks, there will be numerous such insertions written in various alphabets into Polish public debate, and these opposition journalists, opposition politicians will immediately seize them, even if it's the biggest nonsense – he continued.

08:23

Lubnauer:

PiS operates on the assumption that if they're failing in one area, they'll try to impose topics in a completely different one. Duda's first campaign version was supposed to be about big investments. It turned out to be a big farce

- PiS operates on the assumption that if they're failing in one area, they'll try to impose topics in a completely different one. What do I mean by that? The first version of President Duda's election campaign was supposed to be about big investments. It just turned out to be a big farce - Katarzyna Lubnauer said in an interview with Beata Lubecka on the program "Gość Radia ZET".

08:27

Lubnauer:

Problems are Being Artificially Created, and That's What the Family Charter Is. There is No Threat to Polish Families
Problems are being artificially created, and that's what the Family Charter is. There is no threat to Polish families. Polish families are, first of all, cared for, and secondly, for virtually everyone, both candidates and all Poles, this is one of the main concerns. Therefore, PiS's creation of an artificial problem that we are now discussing - said Katarzyna Lubnauer on Radio ZET.

08:59

Trzaskowski:

For Months We've Been Saying and Warning About Problems in the Mines. We Asked for More Tests. The Government Completely Ignored Us. Today We See the Situation in Silesia
“Today we will be in Silesia and today, here in Silesia, it is evident that the government is completely failing to cope with the epidemic. Today, this is clear beyond any doubt. For months we have been saying and warning that there would be problems in the mines. We asked for more tests. The government completely ignored us. Today we see what the situation in Silesia looks like. We see that the government is completely failing to cope with the epidemic situation. Today the prime minister boasts about the opening of the Polish-Lithuanian border, while the Polish-Czech and Polish-Slovak borders remain closed, which is proof that the situation in Silesia is extremely serious” - said the KO presidential candidate, Mayor of Warsaw Rafał Trzaskowski, at a press conference in Wodzisław Śląski.

Where was the president when we warned that the situation in the mines would be serious? Why didn't the president address this issue? Why didn't he spur the government to action? Today, the consequences of the lack of clear intervention, of the government’s inability to cope with the epidemic, are most clearly visible in Silesia” - he added.

Wilk:

My Personal Opinion, as No Agreements Within Confederation Were Reached. If Bosak Doesn't Reach the Second Round, We'll Have to Grit Our Teeth, Cross Out the Incumbent Duda, and Mark Trzaskowski, as He Can Counter the Majority Dictatorship

What I am about to say will be solely my opinion, as no agreements or discussions have been held within the Confederation. It is obvious that we will do everything we can to ensure Krzysztof Bosak makes it to the second round. In my opinion, to be clear, [if Bosak doesn't reach the second round] we will face a classic choice of the lesser evil. For the Confederation, the enemy is neither Civic Platform nor Law and Justice, but rather Civic Platform-Law and Justice, a socialist formation that is clearly dragging Poland in the wrong direction. The choice will truly boil down to how to navigate this choice in a way that ultimately causes the least harm to Poland, to the Polish state. Currently, Poland's biggest problem is the dictatorship of the majority, meaning the flourishing of democracy as executed by Jarosław Kaczyński, who disregards the existing law and finds the constitution rather inconvenient for governing. Therefore, Rafał Trzaskowski, with all his flaws – and frankly, he is absolutely not my kind of person – unfortunately possesses one undisputed advantage that may be valuable in these circumstances. He can veto this dictatorship. Consequently, in my opinion, there will be no other option, no other way out, than to grit our teeth, cross out the current ruler, our reigning Andrzej Duda, as he is merely a notary for what the ruling camp is doing, and the ruling camp is currently operating under complete lawlessness” – Jacek Wilk from the Confederation said in an interview with Jacek Żakowski on Radio TOK FM's Poranek.

If you want me to say it directly – I will say it – and mark Rafał Trzaskowski” – he added.

PM Morawiecki After Meeting with Lithuanian PM: Cooperation Means Trade, Economic, and Cultural Exchange. It Also Means Mutual Visits, Tourism. We Are Returning to Normal Life

- Cooperation means trade exchange, cooperation means economic exchange, but also cultural exchange, it also means mutual visits, it also means tourism. We are returning to that normal life, to those normal routines - said Mateusz Morawiecki during a press statement with Lithuanian Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis at the Budzisko-Kalvarija border crossing.

- I congratulate Lithuania, I congratulate Saulius on the way you managed the epidemic during this very difficult time - added the Prime Minister.

PMM:

Today We Face a Crucial Period of European Recovery Fund Negotiations. Within the Visegrad Group, We Have Developed a Common, Coherent, Unified Stance

- Today, we face a very important period of negotiations for the multiannual financial framework, as well as the European Recovery Fund. Yesterday, near Brno, with our Czech friends, within the Visegrad Group, we developed a common, coherent, unified stance, an approach to these very important negotiations - said Mateusz Morawiecki during a statement to the media with the Prime Minister of Lithuania, Saulius Skvernelis, at the Budzisko-Kalvarija border crossing.

Trzaskowski in Silesia: What Connects Us Above All is Respect for Tradition, a Tradition That is Diverse and Deserves Respect

"I am here to talk precisely about what connects us here in Wisła, because what connects us above all is respect for tradition, a tradition that is diverse and each of these traditions deserves respect above all. Not everyone who comes to Silesia knows how history unfolded in this region. Not everyone knows that we have Zagłębie, and Silesia, and Podbeskidzie, and Cieszyn Silesia with their traditions, their way of looking at the world, their pride, and it is incredibly important that Poland is so diverse and that all traditions must be respected" - said Rafał Trzaskowski, the Civic Coalition candidate for president and Mayor of Warsaw, in Wisła.

12:28

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

Gentlemen, Cards on the Table. I'm Addressing Duda and Trzaskowski. What's Your Program for Entrepreneurs?

- Gentlemen, cards on the table. I am addressing Andrzej Duda and Rafał Trzaskowski. Cards on the table, what is your program for entrepreneurs, because I am meticulously presenting mine. The tourism industry, which is crucial for Giżycko, and for the entire Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship. It is the most important part of the functioning of many families - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in Giżycko.

12:29

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

This Year We're Spending Our Holidays in Poland. This is a Measure of Our Patriotism

- Today, very many people are in Warmia and Mazury, by the sea, and in the mountains. In various towns and villages. This is how it should be throughout the holidays. This year we're spending our holidays in Poland. This is a measure of our patriotism, this is a measure of our commitment - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in Giżycko.

12:30

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

My Most Important Message: Restoring Accord, Agreement, and Normality in Poland

- This is my most important message: Restoring accord, agreement, and normality in Poland. And averting three crises: the health crisis, the economic crisis, and the systemic, political crisis that is plunging us into deep divisions - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in Giżycko.

13:19

Trzaskowski:

They Keep Throwing Obstacles in Our Way. Now They Want to Make it Difficult for All of Polonia to Vote. The Voice of Polonia Must Count

What is happening in Poland is absolutely incredible. Such energy, such determination. We haven't seen this in a long time. Smiles everywhere, everyone is ready to participate in democratic elections” - said Rafał Trzaskowski, the Civic Coalition's presidential candidate and Mayor of Warsaw, in an online recording.

My dear friends, one huge request. Please participate in these elections. Every vote matters to us immensely, every vote from Polonia. As you know, PiS keeps throwing obstacles in our way. First, they gave us only 5 days to collect signatures. That determination, those queues for signatures exceeded our wildest expectations. For that, a huge thank you. We also only received half the funds for the campaign that other candidates received. They keep throwing obstacles in our way constantly. Right now, they want to make it difficult for all of Polonia to vote. Voting by mail will take place in 21 countries. I earnestly ask you to participate in these elections. You must register by midnight on June 15th. If you registered before May 10th, you have until June 16th to specify how you will participate in the elections and, of course, to sign up for the packages necessary for voting. We are asking you very strongly for this. The voice of Polonia must count” - he added.

15:18

Trzaskowski:

The Good News is I Don't Read Mr. Brudziński's Tweets. Using 'Poland Without Someone' Divides Poles. Those Who Use Such Language Will Pay a Political Price
- The good news is that I don't read Mr. Brudziński's tweets. If we use the phrase 'Poland without someone,' it is a division of Poles. We've had enough of dividing Poles and calling us rabble. Everyone who uses such language will pay a political price - said Rafał Trzaskowski when asked in Bielsko about a tweet by Joachim Brudziński.

15:20

Trzaskowski Responds to TVP's LGBT Questions: 'They Keep Asking the Same Questions to Distract from the Government's Failure to Handle the Epidemic'
- They keep asking the same questions to distract from the fact that the government is not coping with the epidemic. What concerns all of us is job protection, health protection, and yet I keep receiving questions about ideology from a television station that calls itself public - Rafał Trzaskowski said at a briefing in Bielsko-Biała.

15:24

President Duda: Most of My Key Commitments Have Been Fulfilled

- I am happy and I don't hide that I am proud to be able to look you in the eye and say this: most of my commitments, the most important ones, those that I was asked to fulfill, appealed for in 2015, have been realized - said President Andrzej Duda in Złotoryja.

15:24

Trzaskowski on Reprivatization: 'We Introduced a Rule Against Returning Buildings, Especially with Tenants.' Calls on PiS to Pass Laws Aiding Tenants, Criticizes Electioneering on People's Misfortune.
- It's a shame that PiS councilors have woken up so late. For years I have been asking the authorities to pass reprivatization legislation. We introduced a rule that we do not return any buildings, and certainly not with tenants. Let PiS finally push through laws that help all tenants. Stop campaigning for elections on the misfortune of others - said Rafał Trzaskowski at a briefing in Bielsko-Biała.

15:27

Trzaskowski in Bielsko: Our Logic Differs from Government Proposals. Thank You for This Incredible Mobilization
- First, in the post-pandemic world, we must take care of jobs. Following Warsaw's example, we want to introduce free kindergartens and nurseries so that women can keep their jobs and return to work. Second, centers for activity, so that local government can create, with residents, for 20-30 million PLN using modules, what the local community needs. The government plans the largest airport in the world, while people are talking about what they truly need. That's why we're talking about investments around the corner. Third, a 10,000 PLN subsidy for every family that wants to install solar panels or insulate their building. We will all send a clear signal that we care about the environment. Our logic is different from what the ruling party proposes. Thank you all for this incredible mobilization - said Rafał Trzaskowski, opening a briefing and meeting with residents at Plac Chrobrego in Bielsko-Biała.

15:29

Duda:

Family has always been most important to me. Especially the one that, according to the Polish Constitution, forms the basic fabric of our society. A family with a father and mother, with motherhood that raises children.
Family has always been the most important thing to me. Especially that family which, also in accordance with the Polish Constitution, with its Article 18, its Article 48, constitutes the basic fabric, the basic community in our society. A family in which there is a father and mother. A family in which there is motherhood, parenthood. A family that raises children – said President Andrzej Duda in Złotoryja.

15:36

Duda:

I'm Not Afraid of Being Called a 'Pen' by Those Who Raised Retirement Age When I Lower It

- I will continue to conduct a policy of careful, calm reviewing. But I will sign 500 plus. Please. Ladies and gentlemen, I will say this: I am not afraid of the fact that those who raised the retirement age for Poles, when I am lowering it and signing the bill, will call me a 'pen'. I am not afraid of that because I work for my countrymen. For my countrymen. It is for you that I fulfill my service. Ladies and gentlemen, I am not afraid of the fact that when I sign a bill that reforms the Polish Supreme Court, so that finally there is justice in Poland, that elementary justice, they will hurl insults at me - said President Andrzej Duda in Złotoryja.

18:14

PAD:

I want to continue the work for the Republic of Poland, for the state, which I began in 2015

- I want to continue the work for the Republic of Poland, for the state, which I began in 2015. After my meetings, when I listened to what you had to say and what I tried to implement throughout these 5 years, up until today - stated President Andrzej Duda in Trzebnica.

18:16

President Duda: Retirement Age Deceptively Raised by PO-PSL Coalition, Betraying Electoral Promises
The first thing you demanded of me at every meeting was to lower the retirement age, which was deceptively raised by the PO-PSL coalition, in breach of their electoral promises. Today, those who claim to be defenders of citizens' rights were the very ones who raised this age back then, broke their commitments, and deceived citizens, all of us. We protested against it then - stated President Andrzej Duda in Trzebnica.

18:21

President Duda: They Lied As Always. The Budget Held Up for 4 Years Without Major Issues, and Families Received Money

- Those who are trying to regain power in Poland today, in order to ruin our state again, shouted that it couldn't be done, that Polish families couldn't be supported, that the 500+ program was destroying the Polish state, that it would ruin public finances, that it would devastate the budget, and what? They lied as always. The budget held up for 4 years without major issues, and families received money, support that was long, long overdue, because after all, in the Constitution, which they supposedly defend, there was a provision for a social market economy, which they did not implement, because a social market economy means fair distribution of goods in society, honest management of public money, a distribution of goods which means that the money that flows into the State Treasury, even from taxes, is returned to the people through various forms of social programs - stated President Andrzej Duda in Trzebnica.

18:26

President Duda on 500+: This is money from your taxes. The problem was that they allowed it to be stolen, PLN 50 billion was stolen. We have largely stopped this theft.

- The [500+] program supports families raising children. Yes, this is money from the taxes you pay. The problem is simply that they allowed it to be stolen, PLN 50 billion was stolen, PLN 50 billion from VAT. We have largely stopped this theft, and it is precisely from these funds, which we have reclaimed from the thieves, that the 500+, 300+, and 13th pension for seniors are paid today - stated President Andrzej Duda in Trzebnica.

18:38

Duda:

The Constitution Guarantees State Protection for the Family, and Marriage as a Union of Man and Woman are Iron Principles Poland Must Uphold

- It is written in the Polish Constitution, in Article 18, that the family is under the protection of the state. Motherhood, parenthood, and marriage is a union of a woman and a man. These are iron principles that must be observed in Poland, and I am their guarantor. I am their guarantor, not pseudo defenders of the Constitution who today shout to break it, in reality. They demand its violation, they want to allow it to be violated on these points, because they only read it where it is convenient for them, and where it is inconvenient, they do not read it - stated President Andrzej Duda in Trzebnica.

19:50

Trzaskowski:

We will also talk about what we can do for rural areas, for various groups in our society. I will be speaking about this in the coming days.

- These program ideas, and there will be more, because we will also talk about what we can do for rural areas, for various groups in our society. I will be speaking about this in the coming days. Today, we are focusing primarily on talking to people - stated Rafał Trzaskowski in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń".

19:54

Trzaskowski:

Today people want to talk about healthcare, security, and equal educational opportunities, while PiS keeps talking about ideology. It's simply a smokescreen to hide the government's inability to handle problems.
I see that PiS politicians primarily want to talk about ideology, whereas today, in the time of COVID, at a moment when the government is completely failing to cope with COVID, as is evident in Silesia, we as local government officials warned the government that there would be a problem in the mines, and this has been confirmed. Today people want to talk about healthcare, security, and equal educational opportunities, while PiS keeps talking about ideology, about ideology. I see that this is simply a smokescreen to hide the fact that the ruling party is not coping with today's problems – stated Rafał Trzaskowski in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.

Trzaskowski:

I won't be president for a 'total opposition' if Poles trust me. I'm ready to cooperate with the government. But if they try to enrich themselves at the state's expense, destroy local government, and independent institutions, then of course I

When I talk about burning with an iron, I mean destroying independent institutions, and I'm clear about that. I will not be president for a 'total opposition' if Poles trust me. I am ready to cooperate with the government. I have cooperated with PiS politicians, for example in the European Parliament, but if they try to enrich themselves at the state's expense, try to destroy local government, destroy independent institutions, then of course I will be tough – stated Rafał Trzaskowski in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on Polsat News's "Gość Wydarzeń".

Trzaskowski:

Lech Kaczyński Deserves a Street in Warsaw. He Will Get One When the Electoral Marathon Ends
- Lech Kaczyński deserves a street in Warsaw. He will get one when the electoral marathon ends and when it is not solely a matter of political clamor, but when the decision is made. I said this a year and a half ago, that after the electoral marathon, I would propose such an initiative, and I will do exactly that - stated Rafał Trzaskowski in a conversation with Dorota Gawryluk on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń".

Kolenda-Zaleska Interrupts Interview After Żalek's Statement:

LGBT are not people, it's an ideology.
"But what, what is LGBT, can you tell me?" Jacek Żalek said in a conversation with Katarzyna Kolenda-Zaleska on TVN24's "Fakty po faktach" (Facts after Facts). "It's all people, homosexuals, etc.," the journalist replied. "No, well, they are not people..." "Excuse me? How are they not people, what are you saying?" "They are not people, it's an ideology. It's an ideology." "No sir, they are people. Do you know what? There are some limits, even in this program. So I will thank you very much for our today's conversation, because if you say that LGBT are not people, then you really shouldn't..." "Ms. Editor, are you suggesting that if there were no LGBT, there were no homosexuals? Or perhaps you should wake up? I understand it's hot, but I would very much appreciate it," the politician interrupted. "Sir, you have been insulting me since the beginning of this program, so I thank you very much," the journalist said, after which she took the microphone away from Żalek.

Nowak on Trzaskowski's Letter to PiS Supporters: A Great Campaign Move. But I See Something More. Trzaskowski Truly Believes Poland and Community Can Be Rebuilt

- If we were to judge it purely in terms of an election campaign, I would say: a great move. But I see something more in it. Rafał Trzaskowski truly believes that Poland and the community can be rebuilt. You know, when perhaps we've all really had enough of this division into better and worse people, of one so-called ordinary MP, who is entitled to extraordinary protection, telling us we are 'treacherous faces' or 'rabble', or telling us what we should believe or whom we should love – Sławomir Nowak said in an interview with Katarzyna Kolenda-Zaleska on TVN24's "Fakty po faktach".

Nowak on Żalek's Statement about LGBT: I Always Knew MP Żalek Wasn't the Sharpest Tool in the Shed, but I Never Saw Him as a Boor

- This kind of boorish display, which we have just had the opportunity to hear on your channel from a PiS MP, I always knew that MP Żalek wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed, but I never saw him as a boor at the same time – that's what I've just learned. But enough of that. It would be good for some normalcy to return to Poland - said Sławomir Nowak on TVN24.

Nowak:

I believe Trzaskowski will defeat Duda in the second round, because it's already visible. Duda's campaign is falling apart.

- I believe that Rafał Trzaskowski will defeat Andrzej Duda in the second round, because it's already visible. Duda's campaign is falling apart. You, Madam Editor, introduced me at the beginning as someone who participated in previous winning campaigns of Civic Platform. There is such a thing as the atmosphere in every election campaign. There is a mood, there is enthusiasm, or there isn't. There is energy, or there isn't. Everything today is on Rafał Trzaskowski's side - Sławomir Nowak said on TVN24.
