I saved what should be the highest value for every democratic politician, namely fair, constitutional elections. The outcome will be decided by Poles. All of us politicians in the United Right should now dedicate every day to participating in President Duda's campaign. In recent days, I have visited a dozen or so towns in several voivodeships. Today I am also going to the Lublin Voivodeship, and it will be like this until June 26, and then probably until July 10 - stated Jarosław Gowin in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

- I am a conservative. Conservatives are attached not only to certain traditional values, but they are also attached to certain forms and a certain way of political action, a way focused on evolutionary, not revolutionary, action, on seeking compromise, and the method for practicing conservative politics is dialogue. I don't know if President Kaczyński defines himself as a conservative. I don't have that impression; his political patron is Józef Piłsudski, about whom one can say many good things, but certainly not that he was a conservative – stated Jarosław Gowin in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

I would like to remind you that in some pre-epidemic polls, Marshal Kidawa-Błońska had results starting from three, meaning over 30%. It was indisputable that at the moment when the epidemic allows for relatively normal elections, the stakes for at least two, and now two main candidates, would be very balanced. However, please also pay attention to a certain paradoxical inequality of chances. All competitors were running a 400-meter race, and when they reached the finish line, it turned out that the judges, meaning the circumstances, had changed this race to 800 meters, and at the same time, a new competitor, Rafał Trzaskowski, entered the track – fresh, well-rested, with ideas that inevitably seemed interesting to the public opinion. And it is obvious to me that this competition will be difficult and balanced. Therefore, all hands on deck, stated Jarosław Gowin in TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

- I would cut off my hand for Łukasz Szumowski's honesty. I have no doubts about it, not the slightest basis. It's not my place to issue certificates of morality to people I don't know at all [Łukasz Szumowski's brother]. I can say that twice, in April 2016 and spring 2018, I filed reports to the Central Anticorruption Bureau (CBA), notifications about the possibility of a crime being committed when awarding grants. Among those questionable grants, companies appeared that – as it turned out – were connected with Marcin Szumowski, but it is up to the CBA, the prosecutor's office, and then perhaps the court to decide whether the law was broken, and if so, who is responsible for it - stated Jarosław Gowin in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

“Unfortunately, at times, one can get the impression that we are forgetting that the epidemic, or rather the pandemic, as the problem affects the entire world, is still ongoing. New infections occur every day. The growth dynamics have been brought under control. The healthcare system is coping with the illnesses. Nevertheless, this disease remains a problem, and some Poles are behaving as if the problem has completely disappeared,” said the Head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, Minister Michał Dworczyk, on Jedynka radio.

- For a large political party that has structures throughout the country, it wasn't a huge challenge [to collect signatures]. I understand that Rafał Trzaskowski's team treated this task as a mobilization for their electorate, hence this approach: we managed, success. But I repeat, President Andrzej Duda collected as many signatures as two Civic Platform candidates combined - said Radosław Fogiel in an interview with Beata Michniewicz on "Salon polityczny" on Polish Radio Trójka.

"The Prime Minister and the Minister of Health have said that if the situation deteriorates, if there are such indications, certain restrictions may return. I wouldn't want to speculate today. We'll see how this disease develops" - said the Head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, Minister Michał Dworczyk, on Jedynka radio.

– As far as I know, the President intends to participate in the debate. He emphasized this five years ago when Bronisław Komorowski refused to participate in the debate before the first round – said Radosław Fogiel on Radio Trójka.

– Yesterday, during a meeting, we had a situation where someone was shouting critical remarks at the President. The President approached and engaged with that discussion – Radosław Fogiel said on Radio Trójka.

– Well, he engaged quite sharply, speaking of communists in the Supreme Court – Beata Michniewicz noted.

– Well, that is an opinion the President expressed, but that's what dialogue entails. We share opinions – Fogiel replied.

They also gave us only half of the budget for conducting the campaign compared to other candidates, and I hope this will also unleash total mobilization, and I ask for this from everyone. Listen, the more of these kinds of tricks there are, the greater the mobilization and help from all of you is needed - stated Rafał Trzaskowski in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

- That is the narrative of those governing [about unfulfilled promises], because I have fulfilled many of my promises. Free nurseries, the largest tenders and the purchase of emission-free buses, another 6 metro stations – stated Rafał Trzaskowski in the 'Piasecki Conversation' on TVN24.

- We fulfilled many promises in just a year and a half. Secondly, these promises were planned for 5 years, and some, like certain metro lines, even for 10 years. Thirdly, you know well what local government budgets look like, because the government decided to take our money a year ago. - If we're talking about a strong president, then in the history of Poland, a strong president has never been needed as much as today, to keep a close eye on those in power. If you ask about unfulfilled promises, let's talk about President Duda's unfulfilled promises, about help for Swiss franc borrowers, about issues related to the tax-free allowance. - The PiS government is a government that very meticulously and scrupulously defends its own, that very readily sweeps scandals under the rug to the point where the rug is already full of various kinds of unaddressed scandals, and is very reluctant to deal with matters concerning actual crimes. This case of Igor Stachowiak, when they wanted individuals who committed this terrible act against the late Igor Stachowiak to be held responsible for negligent homicide, and the fact that the prosecutor's office did nothing about it, shows that in a state governed by PiS, there is no will to account for scandals, for scandals committed under the rule of this government or by individuals associated with this government. This white flag, which is flying over the Presidential Palace, this white flag, which is flying over the Ministry of Interior and the Prosecutor General, the Minister of Justice, is very, very characteristic. When it comes to defending their own, all these institutions, including President Duda, are very effective in preventing further scandals from reaching public opinion. And when they do reach it, thanks to you, the media, they are very meticulously swept under the rug. But when it is necessary to react, to speak out, on a matter like the death of Igor Stachowiak, about which his father wrote yesterday, the PiS government and President Duda remain silent. This is a government that is blind to the problems of ordinary citizens, to justice, to the law. Although all these gentlemen we are talking about come from a party that was once accidentally named Law and Justice, they have little in common with either law or justice - he continued.

We must mobilize before the elections. There isn't much time left, so this is the final sprint - stated Ryszard Terlecki in an interview with journalists in the Sejm, commenting on Jarosław Kaczyński's letter to PiS members. - This just shows our strong, confident position in these elections. The alert concerns the general situation, in every respect, including the economic one. We must emerge from the economic crisis that arose as a result of the pandemic, and all forecasts show that we will come out of it very well - the head of the PiS parliamentary club continued.

Today, Poland, as a result of the actions of the President and Chairman Kaczyński, is plunged into a huge crisis – not only political but also moral. It is at the highest levels of this government that nepotism, corruption, and immense incompetence occur. Today, in Silesia, all the problems generated by this government are concentrated like in a lens. Today, Poland needs a strong president who will control the government and keep an eye on them,” said PO chairman Borys Budka in Silesia.  

“Minister Jacek Sasin, instead of supervising Polish mining, busied himself with preparing envelope elections, which never took place and for which over PLN 70 million of Polish taxpayers' money was spent. Meanwhile, more mines became centers of further infections. More mines became infection hotspots because the authorities did not act in time” – said PO chairman Borys Budka in Silesia. 

- I am extremely pleased that we are in Proszowice today, at a district hospital. Thank you very much for welcoming us. These are extremely important facilities, operating for local Poland. I am extremely pleased that your hospital has an infectious diseases ward, which is now extremely needed - said Paulina Kosiniak-Kamysz in front of the hospital in Proszowice.

„The time for summaries always comes. Five years of PiS rule have recently passed, and they should be summarized today. After these 5 years, we see what is happening. Today, we are opening the Museum of PiS Scandals, which is the best summary of what has happened in Poland over the past 5 years, but also of what has not happened. All the PiS scandals that you can see at the exhibition share one thing. They all have a common denominator. All the scandals are connected by the fact that none of them have been explained, that the most important people in the state have not spoken out on the matter of these scandals. In none of these cases has the prosecution dealt with them thoroughly and properly. We hope that the Museum of PiS Scandals will be the proper, most appropriate way to show Poles what we are dealing with today. 5 years of PiS rule means 5 years of PiS scandals” - said Agnieszka Pomaska from the Civic Coalition at a press conference in front of the Presidential Palace.

„Each exhibition displays some form of art. The art that we want to show, which PiS has mastered to perfection over these 5 years, is the art of scandals, of taking public money. There have been dozens, hundreds of these scandals. Here we are showing only a dozen or so of them. There are scandals concerning nepotism, there is the Misiewicz scandal, there are scandals concerning party cronyism, the Sasin scandal, there are scandals concerning a lack of transparency, there is the Morawiecki's wealth scandal, there are scandals concerning corruption, abuse of influence” - added Adam Szłapka, the leader of Nowoczesna, from the Civic Coalition.

- For Wałbrzych today, the government must present a special offer, a special plan that will stabilize the situation and fix everything that needs fixing. I read with horror in local news when President Rachwalski from Aqua-Zdrój says it's time to turn off the lights. This is sad news for Wałbrzych, for its industry, for its infrastructure. Only 100 people might lose their jobs in this company. The first layoffs have already begun. The same is happening at the porcelain factory. Today, we are already facing the first crises, and the state cannot leave people to face them alone. That's why I am here to say clearly and unequivocally. I want to be the manager of towns like this, just as I was in Słupsk. I want to be an advocate for your cause. I want to fight for Wałbrzych's interests, and I hope we will do this together - stated Robert Biedroń at a press briefing in Wałbrzych.

- Poland today needs a grand reconstruction plan, a plan that I presented a few days ago. The funds are available. PLN 280 billion from the great Marshall Plan for Europe. These are funds that are in Europe today, and PiS will not access them, because today it is completely marginalized in Europe. Those who understand Europe, who love Europe, who are in Europe, will access them, and the Left is in Europe, because it has always been there. It was the Left that brought Poland into the EU, into NATO, and it was the Left that gave Poland the European Constitution, so today it is the Left that proposes a grand reconstruction plan - he continued.

- It is humiliating that we have a Commander-in-Chief today who publicly plays at being a distributor of discounted fuel cards for one of the petrol station chains, thinking that he can buy the favor of WOT soldiers this way - said Szymon Hołownia in Żagań.

I would like to appeal to my colleagues running in this presidential election. Stop dividing people. Stop treating us as a lesser and better sort. Because we are all Poles. We all love the Constitution, we all get goosebumps when our national anthem plays. We are proud to carry a Polish passport and Polish ID. We are proud that our capital is Warsaw, and that Poland is diverse. And when I hear President Duda, who today is signing the so-called family declaration, a radical document that divides Polish society, introducing standards reminiscent of the most brutal, brown, black times in Poland's and Europe's history, I am overwhelmed with horror that someone like that might become President of Poland again. Mr. President, you swore an oath that you would always stand in the interest of the entire Polish society. Why are you breaking that oath, why are you dividing Polish society? Do you want to set Poland ablaze again? Today, 30% of our Poland is already covered by the zones you want to introduce today. Today, Poles are divided like never before. Why are you doing this? Who does it serve? In whose interest are you acting? It is certainly not in the interest of Polish men and women, the Republic of Poland – stated Robert Biedroń at a press briefing in Wałbrzych.

- The National Security Council. This mechanism, which is so neglected by successive presidents, so rarely used. And it is a wonderful forum for us to discuss our national security in a broad group. Those who govern now and those who are in opposition. I announced that I will also appoint former presidents to the National Security Council, including, I hope soon, former President Andrzej Duda - said Szymon Hołownia in Żagań.

- I would also like to appeal to the Civic Platform candidate, who said that only one debate should be organized. One debate is enough for him to talk about all the problems of Poles. Do you hear that? People say: there is no such option. Today, the standard is that we introduce dialogue into public life. That we simply talk to each other. If you cannot talk, if you are afraid of dialogue, then leave politics alone. Because people want to talk. Because people want to hear what you have to say to them. Therefore, from my side, I would like to declare: I will participate in all debates organized by the media. It cannot be that only one debate takes place. If you are scared, then leave. But there are many topics to discuss, your omissions, your mistakes. That is why I encourage and appeal to all presidential candidates: let's hold as many debates as possible - stated Robert Biedroń at a press briefing in Wałbrzych.

• The ruling party tried to throw obstacles in our way. When we were collecting signatures, they gave us only half of the budget allocated to other candidates. Therefore, firstly, enormous mobilization is needed, help from all sides is needed, but we are also receiving various signals that we might be dealing with further obstacles being thrown our way. We will not allow a single vote to be stolen. Therefore, it is better to adopt the strategy of 'trust but verify,' although it is sometimes difficult to trust this government. And that is precisely why we want to form such a coalition to oversee the election process. So that we have absolute certainty that these elections will be fully democratic and that nothing unforeseen will happen. We have various signals concerning postal voting, restrictions on the rights of Poles living abroad, and also signals concerning the elections here in Poland, and in connection with this, we are forming this coalition – said Rafał Trzaskowski in Łazy.

 

- We have made a decision regarding the borders. So far, we have said that the borders will be closed until Friday, until June 12 inclusive. Meanwhile, from June 13, we have decided to open the borders to EU countries. As it was before. In some countries around the world, especially in Latin America, but also in North America, there are still high levels of infections and deaths, and it is visible that the pandemic is still behaving in a very, very worrying way there. Therefore, for now, we are limiting this decision to EU countries - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at a press briefing.

- From June 16, flights will be possible, although it is known that carriers will have to adjust, and they will probably need a week, two, or three to prepare their network of connections for operational matters - PMM continued.

But we are definitively against ideological and worldview experiments, and that is why we protect the family. Rafał Trzaskowski's campaign strategists are developing a counter-narrative to the "Duda Plan," which focuses on major investments like the Central Communication Port (CPK), promising hundreds, or as PiS claimed in a recent ad, a million new jobs. Internal Civic Coalition (KO) polls, conducted by Kantar and published by Fakty TVN, reveal that only 20% of respondents agree with the ruling camp's politicians and favor several large central investments. In contrast, a significant 67% desire more local investments, a platform promoted by Civic Platform. Trzaskowski's team believes the debate over investments is advantageous for them, as the clear sentiment of the majority surveyed leans towards the "local" narrative championed by the KO candidate. - PiS has fallen into a trap.
