Today, President Andrzej Duda will hold a video conference with European think tanks, and then, at 3:00 PM – together with the Minister of National Defence, Mariusz Błaszczak – he will observe the main tactical element of Joint Fires during the Anakonda-20 exercise. PAD is campaigning by emphasizing the alliance with the USA, so it can be assumed that PiS strategists will – incidentally – question the opposition's ability to maintain the quality of this relationship. Subsequently, at 7:00 PM, a meeting with the residents of Lębork will take place.

Civic Coalition will continue collecting signatures for Rafał Trzaskowski's candidacy. His campaign team announces a new stage of the campaign for the coming week, and the unveiling of a slogan for today.

At 9:00 AM in Częstochowa, a press conference by Robert Biedroń will be held. Another press conference and a Round Table with employees and trade unions are planned for 2:00 PM in Bielsko-Biała, and at 4:30 PM in Cieszyn – an election rally and a meeting with Czech Social Democrats.

At 8:00 PM, Szymon Hołownia – as announced by his campaign team – will aim to break a record in Polish politics on social media and gather 100,000 viewers simultaneously live on Facebook during a live broadcast.

- I would recommend adhering to [these restrictions] as they are today, because we have limitations on gatherings to 150 people, distances that should be maintained, the use of masks, for example, in shops or in Churches, at meetings. When we had conventions this week, there were many eager participants, but unfortunately, we had to limit the number of people attending in my home region, in my electoral district, due to these safety requirements. And I believe we are the only committee that applies such requirements. I would encourage other committees and everyone else to observe these rigors. They are not easy; they also make conducting my campaign more difficult, but the danger of the disease spreading is greater now rather than lesser – stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in the "Piasecki Interview" on TVN24.

- I believe a more territorial, regional, and sub-regional approach is possible, even at the district level. There are districts, for example, Żuromin district, where there have been no cases so far, so any restrictions maintained for so long were unnecessary there, and introducing further ones now would be foolish. I would more strongly recommend a regional approach to the minister, to the government. Besides, the state of epidemic or the state of epidemic threat can be introduced within a voivodeship, not just across the entire country. Today, I miss this ground-level understanding of issues from the rulers. - A situation can always arise where the government decides to introduce a state of natural disaster, and this can be done the day before elections. Anything is possible. I've already seen such plot twists in recent weeks that I wouldn't be surprised if another one occurred - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

Details will be revealed this week, within the next few days, literally. We want the program to come into effect this summer. We know it's the beginning of June, but we will do everything to ensure the entire decision-making process, and then the legislative process, meaning parliamentary work, proceeds as quickly as possible. We cannot fully promise for the Senate, because we know the Senate has recently become a chamber of obstruction, which tries to torpedo everything proposed by the government. This will be a program for families with children. We would like it to be a program aimed at all children [regardless of family income criteria],” said PiS MEP Adam Bielan, spokesperson for Andrzej Duda's campaign staff, on Radio Jedynka.

- Shouting in this chamber happens very often, definitely too often. Also, when the Prime Minister began his speech on Thursday, for the first 10 minutes, the opposition also prevented him from freely presenting his thoughts, interrupting him with shouts, also unparliamentary and not very appropriate. There is no place for such shouts in the Sejm; this is not the language of debate that I advocate for and that I practice in the Sejm - Jadwiga Emilewicz said in an interview with Piotr Witwicki on Polsat News' "Graffiti".

As I understand the President's idea, the voucher should be granted to a family for each child. Considering the dominant family structure, meaning how many families we have, what fertility rates look like, and the number of children per family statistically in Poland, approximately 2 million families have two children, so this will effectively be PLN 1000 per family. Just under 500,000 families have one child, and we also have families with more than two children - Jadwiga Emilewicz said in an interview with Polsat News.

- We have 6.5 million children for whom we receive the 500 plus benefit, which means the budget for this program will definitely be well over 3 billion PLN. I think it is gaining new meaning today; the President has given it an absolutely new significance. It not only supports the tourism industry but also supports Polish families - said Jadwiga Emilewicz on Polsat News.

- Today, there are definitely no such plans. We know that the number of infections, when we look at the entire population of Poland, there are two voivodeships where there are relatively the most. It's still Mazovia, as it has been from the beginning. The second place is Silesia, where significantly more tests are being done - Jadwiga Emilewicz said in Polsat News.

- Today, there are no plans to take a step back, freeze, or any return to the restrictions we had, which doesn't change the fact that over the weekend we had a very intensified campaign. Here I encourage, I appeal to you, to follow the recommendations we issued two weeks ago, concerning distance, using masks in shops, enclosed spaces, and hand disinfection - she added. 

„We already have, from our volunteers, over 330,000 [signatures]. This number is still growing, and I wanted to thank each person very sincerely, because signature collection campaigns are – in a positive sense – madness. In small towns, big cities, medium-sized ones, in villages. It is something truly incredible” - said Cezary Tomczyk from Civic Coalition in an interview with Dominika Wielowieyska on Radio TOK FM's morning show.

- Today our goal is June 28th, which means Andrzej Duda's victory. It would be excellent if this could happen in the first round. We are not having such discussions today, because the entire coalition is focused, firstly, and this is my daily work, on combating the effects of the pandemic, and in my case, there are many economic consequences - said Jadwiga Emilewicz in Polsat News.

- At this moment, I don't have the complete calculations, so I cannot provide a figure, but generally, most of these actions from 'Duda's Plan,' or at least a significant part of them, will be financed from the so-called European Recovery Fund – said Radosław Fogiel in an interview with Robert Mazurek on RMF FM's "Morning Conversation."

- Absolutely not [I was not the originator of the motion for a vote of confidence]. At the same time, I was busy restarting the league in Ekstraklasa, the return to the pitches, which was a great success. But of course, I was watching. It was a brilliant idea, it ended a certain leakage and tremor within the ruling camp, which naturally emerged after the elections on May 10th. This idea was a clear signal and a sign that we needed to move forward, to close all disputes. Unity is important, and it was very important internally, it gave the entire ZP [United Right] camp momentum. However, it also diverted media attention from the start of Rafał Trzaskowski's campaign, which was supposed to be on June 4th, symbolically in Gdańsk, and the best summary of how good this idea was were the words of Rafał Trzaskowski himself, who admitted that they did it to take away our attention - stated Marcin Mastalerek in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

- Retirees still pay taxes in Poland, but they pay lower taxes. Well yes, we all pay lower taxes. The PIT level dropped from 18 to 17 [%] - said Radosław Fogiel in RMF FM. 

- Of course, I see, and I've said it before, I acknowledge Rafał Trzaskowski's campaign effectiveness. Today, he has regained everything that the previous candidate lost through no fault of her own. And today, the campaign has returned to its starting point and the beginning of the campaign, because from that moment on, Civic Platform managed to lose its support by announcing that it was boycotting the elections, then that it wasn't boycotting, then that it was running, then not running, then boycotting, then not running, and everyone got confused. Civic Platform lost support, and the only thing Rafał Trzaskowski has done today is regain Civic Platform's support. He has taken the power, the oxygen, the media interest, and every day he is taking voters away from Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, Szymon Hołownia, and Robert Biedroń. And if anything surprises me, if anyone is running a weak campaign and allowing Rafał Trzaskowski to take voters away from them, it is precisely these three candidates – stated Marcin Mastalerek in TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

- Perhaps no one has noticed this yet, but the person who lost the most from the Platforma candidate change, from the fact that these elections did not take place, and that Rafał Trzaskowski is now running, is Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz. You see, if he had entered the game back in April, brought about elections in May, together with PiS, he would most likely have achieved the second-best result amidst the chaos with the PO candidate. He had his time, he had his moment. Had he achieved the second-best result, he would have been the natural leader of the opposition and a key player in the Sejm for three years, because for three years there will be no checks, and the next elections are in three years, and they are parliamentary. MPs from the back rows of Platforma could have been queuing up to Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, he could have spoken with local government officials, perhaps he could even have reached an understanding with Szymon Hołownia. Today, he has lost the greatest opportunity of his life. This will never return, and we see that he will no longer play the role he could have played, and it is Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz who is the biggest loser in this situation – stated Marcin Mastalerek in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

- I'm surprised by Biedroń, Hołownia, and Kosiniak-Kamysz, that a new candidate [Rafał Trzaskowski] arrived and said, frankly speaking, get out of here, this is my territory, I'm sitting on this bench now, and there's no room for you on this bench. So, if gentlemen continue to behave this way in the campaign, it bodes ill for them in three years, in the parliamentary elections - stated Marcin Mastalerek in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

„Yesterday, a meeting was held at the Silesian Voivodeship Office with my participation, the Silesian Voivode, Minister Pinkas, but also Minister Maląg, the management boards of JSW and PGG, and representatives of the representative trade unions. We discussed the current situation and, in agreement with the mine management, presented the social side with proposals for further actions we would like to take. These further actions include the temporary suspension of work in all mines where we are currently recording coronavirus infections and whose crews have not been fully tested. This means that starting tomorrow, we will suspend operations at two JSW mines and ten PGG mines. All employees, apart from minimal staff who will be responsible for maintaining the mines during the suspension of extraction, will go on so-called downtime for a period of 3 weeks” - said Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of State Assets Jacek Sasin at a press conference.

“All miners will receive 100% of their salary for the standstill period, meaning they will not incur any financial or economic losses. It was very important to us that miners not be penalized economically for the infections that occurred in the mines, which prompted us to make these decisions,” said Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State Assets Jacek Sasin at a press conference.

„In Silesia, we have 60% of beds available in infectious disease hospitals and over 85% of ventilators free. This shows that we still have health service capacity in Silesia. Fortunately, these individuals from the outbreaks, the miners, are experiencing the illness very mildly. I wanted to strongly emphasize that these cases in Silesia are from specific outbreaks. Many unfair opinions have emerged about people living in Silesia. There is also no horizontal transmission in Silesia. The majority of infections are from the outbreaks. There are isolated cases of infection outside of these outbreaks” - said the Minister of Health, Łukasz Szumowski, at a press conference.  

- Every year, more and more hospitals are collapsing in Poland, hospitals that not so long ago, even before the right-wing governments, were sprouting up like mushrooms after the rain in our country. Practically every district hospital in Poland is struggling with financial catastrophe - said Robert Biedroń during a press conference in Częstochowa.

- We want to allocate at least 7.2% of GDP to healthcare, to the people who need this support today. This is part of our grand investment plan. After the era of building churches and temples, must come the era of building kindergartens and hospitals. The era of investing in the ordinary person must arrive - he added.

- Opposition voters, left-liberal voters have been mobilized for some time now, and the ruling camp should have no illusions about that. However, there was a certain complacency within the ruling camp, and both the vote of confidence, where Prime Minister Morawiecki substantively recalled the pronouncements of the Civic Platform, but also said that it needed to be summarized and showed what this ruling camp has achieved in 5 years, and then, on the other hand, President Kaczyński mobilized the hardest-core electorate - stated Marcin Mastalerek in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24, when asked about Jarosław Kaczyński's words regarding "rude rabble" (chamska hołota).

- The atmosphere in the Sejm chamber is certainly heated, and one could wonder if such words don't mobilize the other side, but that side is already mobilized. These words will certainly awaken the hardest-core electorate - he continued.

The decision regarding the area where postal voting will be implemented depends, of course, on how many people are sick and how many are sick in a given district, what the horizontal transmission is like in that district, and what the infection growth rates are in that district. I believe it's still much too early to say which area might be the one where only postal voting will be indicated - stated Łukasz Szumowski at a press conference.

- The virus has not disappeared. The epidemic has not disappeared. We hear about new outbreaks, and there will be them. We hear that in Spain we are seeing increases again. We see that in individual countries, we are constantly learning about increases in infections in certain areas, certain outbreaks. And so it will be. It's not as if we are already free of the virus, free of the epidemic. The epidemic is here, and the virus is here. However, the difference is that horizontal transmission, i.e., mutual infection, simply in everyday life, is limited to a minimum. Certainly, large workplaces, huge places where people gather, and unfortunately, mines are an ultra-exceptional workplace for this, extremely hard work, responsible work, and difficult from a medical and sanitary point of view, which is why there are many mutual infections there. However, the majority of the country, if we exclude the outbreaks, has a dramatically declining trend, and this also needs to be emphasized. But let's not delude ourselves, there will be outbreaks, there will be such outbreaks in the near future, here and there, appearing in Poland just as they appear in other countries - stated Łukasz Szumowski at a press conference.

Of course, it is. We have a system where it is absolutely possible for a president and government from different camps to function. We remember President Aleksander Kwaśniewski and Prime Minister Jerzy Buzek's government, we remember President Lech Kaczyński and Donald Tusk's government. The task of the president and the government is to cooperate in such a way that there are good results. Everyone has their competences, and in the past, this has been managed better, worse, but ultimately, better - said Tomasz Siemoniak in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus, when asked if he saw the possibility of Rafał Trzaskowski cooperating with the current government if he were to become president. - President Rafał Trzaskowski will cooperate with the PiS government, as long as it remains in power. He will have his competences, his veto, his nominations; we have a constitution, and it must be adhered to - he continued. When pressed whether he saw more cooperation than obstruction of government actions, he replied: - Of course, he does. It is worth listening to what Rafał Trzaskowski says. He talks about the need for a change in policy, a change in language, and building cooperation, not constant fighting. - The majority of the problems Poland needs to solve do not have party colours, especially during a pandemic and a crisis. Such an understanding needs to be sought - he emphasized.

- The President [Duda] is doing very well, because he has a huge lead in the polls over the second-place contender at the moment, Mr. Trzaskowski, while Kosiniak has fallen dramatically. And I think these are ideas intended to somehow sustain or remind people of his candidacy. Unfortunately, both the Peasants' Party and the Left have, one could say, fallen into a trap by voting for or lobbying to postpone the May elections, where – it must be remembered – they had significantly higher poll numbers. Now, Civic Platform has taken a considerable portion of their voters, and they are in trouble. Biedroń practically no longer exists as a candidate. He has only trace support. Kosiniak is still fighting, but it's a fight against windmills. It's already clear he has no chance of competing for second place after Andrzej Duda - stated Ryszard Terlecki on Radio Kraków.

- One could say that Trzaskowski owes this to Mr. Gowin. Many factors contributed to the elections not taking place, but among them was also the action of the leader of Porozumienie, which was completely contrary to our idea or project of holding elections in May. It later turned out that the law, held by the Senate to the maximum extent possible, was ultimately adopted, and it became clear that time was indeed lacking and that various problems could cause the ineffectiveness of these elections. They had to be postponed to June. Thanks to this, Civic Platform replaced its candidate. Let's recall that Kidawa-Błońska had 4-6% at the very moment this was happening. Today, if the elections had taken place and, of course, Andrzej Duda had won, one could assume, one could surmise, that Civic Platform would no longer exist, as it would have fallen apart as a result of internal disputes and reckonings after the lost elections - stated Ryszard Terlecki on Radio Kraków. Asked whether cooperation with Porozumienie had changed after Jadwiga Emilewicz became Deputy Prime Minister, the Deputy Marshal of the Sejm replied: - It has changed in the sense that today we do not have a problem with the election date and with agreements that will end this crisis. Ultimately, they will cause or ensure the stabilization of the state. Thanks to the agreement, one can say, thanks to the common or unified stance of the United Right, we have this date of June 28.

- We should not get used to this. We see displays of rudeness and aggression from opposition MPs almost every session. This is truly becoming a certain norm. It's difficult to tolerate, but also difficult to stop. The penalties that the Sejm or the Sejm Presidium can impose are rather symbolic and change little. So, unfortunately, it is true that in this term, there have been an exceptionally large number of brawls and such rudeness from the opposition, which also sometimes leads, as in this case, to a reaction where patience always has its limits - stated Ryszard Terlecki on Radio Kraków.

- We are approaching 400,000 signatures. This number is constantly growing, and I hope it will grow even more, so that no one throws obstacles in our way, so that we remember that the state will do everything to prevent Rafał Trzaskowski from being a candidate, so that he cannot run, and we must do everything to win these elections and to have as many signatures as possible, so that the campaign can be as good as possible – stated Cezary Tomczyk at a press briefing.

- This slogan was created thanks to you. Because this slogan was born from dozens of meetings, in small, medium, and large cities, when you spoke about the kind of presidency you want. When you spoke about what this presidency should look like, and today we will present this slogan - stated Cezary Tomczyk at a press briefing.

- Our slogan is "A Strong President, A United Poland". It is an answer to the diagnosis we hear on Polish streets, a diagnosis of "we've had enough". The answer to "we've had enough" must be someone who ensures strength and community - he continued. 

- Programmatic elements will be part of this campaign. I think you can expect certain proposals in this regard starting Tuesday, Wednesday. We want the ideas that the campaign staff, Rafał Trzaskowski, presents to be, above all, well-calculated, a response to what pains Poles today. We are gathering this diagnosis. I think we are ready to present this program. I think you will be satisfied, and I think this will happen in the coming days - stated Cezary Tomczyk at a press briefing.

- I can only be pleased with this decision. Rafał Trzaskowski appealed to the government a few days ago for an immediate amnesty for pensioners, so that the 70,000 pensioners who have a bailiff on their account, from whom an amount for the radio and television subscription arrears is collected daily or monthly from their pension. If the government is taking President Trzaskowski's advice today, it is only a good omen for the future. And an announcement that an agreement can be reached on fundamental issues. - Had the elections taken place on May 10th or 23rd, they would have been held in an atmosphere of complete chaos, and the Supreme Court would not have been able to recognize them as valid. Repeating the elections would not only have been a major blow to the authority of the Polish state but also a blow to the chances of the United Right's candidate, President Duda. I did what needed to be done. I ensured the elections are held under democratic conditions, fully complying with the principles of the Polish Constitution. This is fair competition; of course, the chances are also equalized. That is the role of Porozumienie activists and our party – to persuade people to cast their vote for Andrzej Duda – stated Jarosław Gowin at a press briefing in Krakow.

- If it comes to the point where postal voting is ordered in one area of the country or another, it will be, firstly, the result not of a conspiracy, but of last-minute actions, because they will see the ground burning beneath their feet, and secondly, they still won't know how to organize it. If such a situation occurs, if there is an increase in infections and the epidemiological situation gets out of control, then we will most likely face postponing the elections once again, rather than managing them in a postal version, because it is simply too large a process - said Szymon Hołownia during a press conference in Warsaw.

- I believe that deciding to pay one professional group 100% while other professional groups cannot even get 5% or anything from the government in this situation is dividing people. This leads to the situation where, if there are again outbreaks of hate against miners, against Silesia, then Minister Sasin will be to blame - said Szymon Hołownia during a press conference in Warsaw.

- I would like to emphasize that what is happening now is not the fault of the miners. It is the government's fault, and it is solely the government's achievement that, not only can it not manage the epidemic, but it also brazenly divides people in Poland into better and worse - he added.

- If I were to evaluate my rival candidate's slogan, which is always awkward, I would say it doesn't particularly captivate me. In my struggles with Polish politics, I've already heard so many assurances in slogans that Poland will be united, and they always came from representatives of parties that have done everything to divide Poland, that for the umpteenth time, I simply wouldn't be fooled again – said Szymon Hołownia during a press conference in Warsaw.

“The voucher will have a long realization period, as it can be used until the end of 2021, meaning there is no need to spend it this summer, no need to spend it in the autumn. It can be spent in the spring of next year, for winter holidays, it can also be spent on next year’s holidays. The voucher – from the moment it is adopted by the Polish parliament and signed by the president – will be valid until the end of 2021, so there will be plenty of time to spend this money on tourist services in our country, and everyone can rest assured that anyone who is eligible for this tourist voucher will have the time to use it” – said President Andrzej Duda in Ustka.

"The voucher will be directed towards families raising children. If there are children in the family, the voucher can be received for them. This will be 500 PLN for each child. We estimate that in Poland we have around 2.5 million - 2.4 million families raising children, and the vast majority of these, nearly 2 million, are families with at least two children. We can confidently say that in 80% of cases, this will amount to at least 1000 PLN for the family. This will be approximately the value of this benefit" - said President Andrzej Duda in Ustka.

"The voucher will be in an electronic, digital form. The voucher will be obtained by registering on the ZUS electronic services platform, and after registration, after application, after verification that it pertains to an individual entitled to receive such a voucher, the voucher will be allocated. It will have an electronic form, and at the moment you contact a service provider – whether booking accommodation or purchasing a tourist event for children, a camp, a colony, or booking a holiday in a guesthouse or an agritourism farm – you will inform the owner that you will be using the tourist voucher. This can be done at the time of booking or check-in, and then it can be used, with ZUS being the disbursing entity. The voucher has a dedicated form. It will not be cash that goes to families" - said President Andrzej Duda in Ustka.

“I hope that the Sejm [the tourist voucher bill] will consider it at the next session of the Sejm. I am appealing to the Senate, however, that immediately after the Sejm passes this bill, they do not delay for 30 days and commence their work as quickly as possible” - said President Andrzej Duda in Ustka.

- In matters of exiting the economic crisis, I am requesting a further 3-month extension of ZUS exemptions for all companies in Poland, for all employees in Poland. This is a chance to rebound. A lot needs to be invested today to get out - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press briefing in the Sejm.

„A position paper from the interior ministers of 7 EU states, initiated by the Visegrad Group ministers, has been submitted to the European Commission. The document is signed by the interior ministers of Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Estonia, and Latvia. In this document, we express our firm opposition to the reintroduction of mandatory relocation of illegal immigrants within the EU. We express our firm opposition and clearly state that such instruments and solutions will not be accepted by us. I want to assure all Polish citizens that the Polish government, the Law and Justice (PiS) government, unequivocally and decisively opposes any relocation of illegal immigrants in our country. This is a clear, unambiguous, and non-negotiable position. We are doing this not for xenophobic reasons, as is attributed to us, but out of common sense. The Polish government will not and does not consent to any imposed social or cultural experiments. We see how such experiments end in the example of Western European countries, where significant concentrations of people culturally and socially unrelated to their places of residence have emerged. This leads to tragic consequences: social conflicts, on racial and religious grounds” – said the Minister of the Interior and Administration, Minister-Coordinator of Special Services, Mariusz Kamiński, at a press conference. 

- I am proposing presidential scholarships. 1000 PLN every month for all years, all months of study, but there is one obligation that stems from this. This is an investment by the Polish state, a responsibility for young generations, and an incentive to study, but also to remain in Poland. Because after graduation, the person who takes advantage of this will commit to 10 years [of work]. This will be a voluntary scholarship; no one will be forced. Every young person will have a choice, because I believe in the freedom and wisdom of young people. And they will be able to choose whether they want to take advantage of the 1000 PLN presidential scholarship, every month, throughout their studies, but then work in Poland for 10 years. If they do not want to take advantage of this, they have other options; they will not have to. It is a good, free choice for every young person - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press briefing in the Sejm, adding that if such a person were to leave before the 10-year period expires, it would be treated as an interest-free loan.

- We could just now see F-16 aircraft launching American Maverick missiles, which hit targets located a dozen or so kilometers from the beach, deep in the Baltic Sea. Just a moment ago, Krab self-propelled howitzers also fired. All targets were hit, so I can confidently say that from the bottom of my heart I congratulate all the crews and I congratulate the gentlemen generals, all those who prepared the exercise. We haven't had an exercise here in a long time where so much weaponry was used. Our pilots, our artillerymen are doing excellently – said President Andrzej Duda during the Anakonda-20 exercise. 

„One voivodeship in Poland is sometimes the size of a small European country, so we are already seeing the effects. Many voivodeships have no new infections. It is true that we have occasional outbreaks, because the epidemic is not over and will not end quickly, so we will have outbreaks appearing here and there.
