Robert Biedroń is visiting Silesia. It seems unlikely that such a large party would be unable to collect signatures – said Piotr Müller in an interview with Piotr Witwicki on Polsat News' "Graffiti".

- There is no threat that a regulation or ordinance will be created that would result in, as you indicated, having only a few hours to collect signatures. I would also like to emphasize that a lot depends on the Senate, because of course, the sooner the Senate passes the law, the longer the timeline and electoral calendar for all electoral activities will be – he added.

- I can say this, that a few weeks ago, as you well remember, it was a fight for people's lives. And that's the truth. And we were on the front lines, myself included in this area, because I deal with correctional facilities, and perhaps one day we will describe what it was all like here, because not everything was shown or said. Such masks, which had problems with certificates, were without certificates, or had fake certificates, ended up in various countries, in the European Commission, probably in WOŚP. Various places. It's not our fault that someone falsified them - stated Michał Wójcik in the "Piasecki's Conversation" on TVN24.

- Decisions regarding the next stage of unfreezing the economy will likely be announced next week. In the fourth stage, we anticipate, among other things, the issue of opening places such as fitness clubs, theaters, and cinemas. - I believe Poland is a country that has been doing exceptionally well over the past few months, and the person who confirmed this on your channel yesterday was none other than Professor Zembala himself, who praised Professor Szumowski. If there are any doubts anywhere, I think law enforcement agencies will clarify them - stated Michał Wójcik during "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

- I hope this is the date that will be applied. If the Senate, as I said at the beginning, does not cause some obstruction of actions, then this election calendar, which would set such a date as June 28th for the first round of elections, is realistic - said Piotr Müller on Polsat News.

Minister Łukasz Szumowski has become the subject of a ruthless attack by some media outlets. An attack that, unfortunately, is unconnected to reality. Attempts are being made to attribute or suggest unethical or even illegal behaviour to Minister Szumowski - said Piotr Müller on Polsat News.

- For goodness sake, Szumowski's name appears every day in many media outlets. He is a man heavily attacked today. Take yesterday's press conference, for instance, disrupted by Mr. Nitras and Mr. Kierwiński. I have never seen anything like it before. It's as if someone during a press conference. You've been a journalist for many years. Such things were never done in Polish politics. It's like walking into someone's home and just roaming around their house, assaulting their home. You simply cannot do that. This is some kind of savagery of customs - stated Michał Wójcik in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

"The value of United Right is unity, but naturally built on discussion, debate, on discourse. I cannot imagine a situation where one cannot talk, discuss, hold differing opinions, but in the end, an agreement is reached, leading to the creation of a unified whole," said PiS spokesperson Anita Czerwińska on Polish Radio 24.

- Here, prevention means that if suggestions to remove a song from the air appeared in SMS messages, it's hard to call it anything else. This is something completely unimaginable that has happened. In this entire dispute, it's difficult not to trust the Trójka journalists, who have been running this program for years, giving it their all. Their names, their professional reputations. I don't believe any manipulations could have occurred - said Adam Bodnar in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Piasecki's Conversation".

- If the ruling party was so concerned about avoiding such a situation [a vacancy in the presidential office], it should have declared a state of emergency, something all constitutionalists I know have been requesting since mid-March. This is a procedure that allows for the continuity of power and avoids any interim issues, as Article 228 of the Constitution states that the presidential term is extended accordingly, and elections are held no earlier than 90 days after the state of emergency ends. The ruling party did not go down this path and is now seeking other options, and frankly, I have the impression they are putting everyone on alert, saying: you must agree with our demand, because our political interest lies in everything happening, including rulings by the Supreme Court before August 6th. Well, perhaps it will happen, and it is not a tragedy from the perspective of the state's functioning that there will be no continuity. There will be a person who, in the so-called interim, will hold the presidential office, which would be the Marshal of the Sejm. Perhaps we must come to terms with this – Adam Bodnar said on TVN24.

- Robert Biedroń's campaign clearly needs improvement. We suspended this campaign, life suspended this campaign, perhaps that's how I would put it, because Robert is a politician who needs the streets, meetings, gatherings, he loves people, he feels great among people, he has a lot of empathy. Coronavirus took that away from him. It's no one's fault, no person's fault, therefore we are not complaining about it - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty in an interview with Robert Mazurek on RMF FM.

- Robert Biedroń's campaign started fantastically at the beginning, there was no virus, he had 9% with an upward trend. Then the virus came, Robert wasn't going out, just like any of us from home. The street loves Robert, Robert loves the street. Today he is in Silesia and will be in 15 cities every day. And that is, as it were, the most important thing. We do what we do and we will never change it - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty on RMF FM.

- Rafał Trzaskowski carries his own baggage, with his problems, with what he hasn't done recently in Warsaw, with what he promised and didn't deliver, so his credibility is, in my opinion, much lower even than that of Ms. Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska. Today, Mr. Trzaskowski's candidacy is a bigger problem for Mr. Hołownia or Mr. Kosiniak-Kamysz than for President Andrzej Duda - said Andrzej Dera in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus's "Sedno Sprawy" (The Heart of the Matter).

- We approach this with humility, but also with calm. The President is fully engaged in what will happen in the coming month, and we all hope these elections will take place on June 28th - said Andrzej Dera on Radio Plus.

- Personally, I think so, because Lech Kaczyński's presidency was interrupted; he did not finish his term - Andrzej Dera stated on Radio Plus.

"In the case of Rafał Trzaskowski, as with few other candidates, the question of his credibility, his achievements, and the promises he failed to keep certainly arises. I would like to remind you that Mr. Rafał Trzaskowski, when running for Mayor of Warsaw, promised a great deal. „We take everyone seriously. We will certainly not repeat the mistake of Bronisław Komorowski from 5 years ago, who underestimated his rivals and, despite excellent polls, lost the election. I saw, at least with my own eyes, the results of the listeners' votes and I can't understand why a song that had fewer votes won, and a song that had more votes lost. What else can you call it, if not manipulation? But of course, this is not an excuse for someone to say: I don't want this or that song. We have freedom, democracy, and such overzealousness is something awful that shouldn't happen. I'm talking about suggestions that a certain track shouldn't be played anywhere. I hope this never happens again in the future, because it's something that shouldn't occur in a democratic state - stated Andrzej Dera on Radio Plus.

"I have repeatedly said that a white flag is flying over the Presidential Palace, but unfortunately, a white flag is also flying over institutions that are primarily appointed to control the government and explain any irregularities, and to prosecute criminals. Unfortunately, a white flag is also flying over these institutions today. None of the scandals of the current government have been explained" - said Rafał Trzaskowski, candidate for president from the Civic Coalition (KO) and Mayor of Warsaw, at a press conference.

"I believe that it is the President of the Republic who should appoint the Prosecutor General, who should be completely independent. There cannot be a situation like today, where the prosecution is solely focused on harassing people, and does not investigate the most important crimes. It cannot be that Zbigniew Ziobro uses the prosecution for political purposes. The prosecution must be strong and independent" - said Rafał Trzaskowski, KO's presidential candidate and Mayor of Warsaw, at a press conference.

„I will appoint a State Control Spokesperson at the National Security Bureau. The President must have instruments to control the special services. Today, the special services are weak, the special services are used as a weapon for political fighting by Minister Kamiński. In a strong state, the special services must be independent and supervised by someone who wants to clarify reality” – said at a press conference Rafał Trzaskowski, the Civic Coalition’s presidential candidate and the Mayor of Warsaw.

„The President should appoint the head of the General Counsel's Office, and the General Counsel's Office should have expanded powers to investigate, among other things, the expediency of state-owned companies' spending and to control how state-owned companies are staffed” - said Civic Platform candidate for President and Mayor of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski, at a press conference.

- Madam Marshal Witek, when calling the presidential elections, also determines the election calendar after the opinion of the National Electoral Commission (PKW). Please remember that there are a number of bodies that have their competences in this matter, but Marshal Witek will set such an election calendar as Marshal Grodzki and the Senate majority will allow her in the work on this bill [concerning the presidential elections]. If Marshal Grodzki holds onto this bill for an unknown amount of time, but at most until June 12th, then by force of things he will not leave many options for action and decisions for Marshal Witek. If the Marshal does not hold onto this bill as he did last time, for the full 30 or 29 days, but the Senate deals with it very quickly, then Marshal Witek and the PKW will also have a greater opportunity to adapt this election calendar to the needs of all candidates who wish to run in these elections - stated Przemysław Czarnek at a briefing in the Sejm.

- Professor Szumowski is not a problem at all, but our pride and glory. He is the man who led to a situation where Poland and Poles handled the coronavirus best in Europe at this stage. We are at the absolute forefront when it comes to fighting the coronavirus, when it comes to the number of deaths, which is still too high, but radically lower than in many, many countries in Europe and the world – stated Przemysław Czarnek at a briefing in the Sejm.

- This is a man [Łukasz Szumowski] who faced the coronavirus and deserves medals, not the witch hunt that is being organized on behalf of the opposition by some television stations. This is a witch hunt; Professor Szumowski has not broken any laws, nor is there any accusation of him breaking the law. There is no accusation of him exceeding his authority. In light of the above, this is a common witch hunt for political purposes of Civic Platform (PO), and I am surprised that serious journalists are even dealing with it - stated Przemysław Czarnek at a briefing in the Sejm.

- Solidarity with other countries in our region is crucial today. Our partner from the Three Seas Initiative - Romania - is seeking optimal solutions to exit the crisis and has asked us to share the solutions from Poland's Anti-Crisis and Financial Shields - Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki announced on Facebook.

- Even before the coronavirus, one of the most significant local government issues was insufficient funds for education, not enough money for education. I presented solutions in my program. 100% of the subsidy covers 100% of salaries. This means that salaries are paid, as the mayor said, from the state budget. This is a solution that enables maintaining schools, buildings, modernization, transporting children to school; local governments will cover all extracurricular activities with their own money, but salaries must be paid from the state budget. Either directly or the subsidy will cover salaries from the state budget in 100%, and nothing has changed in this regard. On the contrary, the coronavirus increases the demand for a subsidy that will cover 100% of salaries. Because local government revenues are decreasing. We are in a period of enormous crisis in local government finances. Analyses by the ZMP, local government associations of various levels, clearly show: a 40% drop in PIT revenues, and a 30% drop in CIT. These are declines that will force many already initiated investments to be either postponed or completely halted and suspended. Many planned investments will not be launched. There will be no possibility to utilize European funds, there will be no own contribution, if this investment impulse is lacking. This is not just a loss in the form of an unrenovated road in a given commune. It is a loss of jobs, because local companies renovate, build, and later maintain that road. If they do not get work, they will go bankrupt soon - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a briefing in the commune of Długosiodło.

- Today's data showing a 25% decrease in industrial production is a tragedy for Polish industry, for the Polish economy. Yesterday's GUS data stating 150,000 fewer employees in April - the worst result since 2008, 2009, the financial crisis. This shows the scale of problems we are facing. And what is the solution? Either saying, as some try to create such a vision, that local government must cope on its own, we don't want to talk, we won't talk, or what I propose, we propose cooperation, an agreement for Polish local government. The true implementation of the subsidiarity principle. That is, directing funds closest to the people and decision-making, close to human affairs, decisions that citizens, residents of a given commune, will simply be able to benefit from. Several solutions resulting from the coronavirus epidemic are needed - the PSL leader continued.

Kosiniak-Kamysz's proposals primarily include an investment voucher, an educational subsidy covering 100% of teachers' salaries, and a new act on local government revenues.

„We want to urge the Polish government to act, as it is passively observing how the European Union has been blocking aid for large Polish companies for over a month. Applications for aid amounting to PLN 20 billion have already been submitted. PLN 25 billion is the total amount of aid the government has allocated for companies employing over 250 employees. This means that the European Union, specifically the European Commission, is currently blocking aid for companies employing 3.5 million Polish workers. Companies could collapse simply because the European Commission, whose election was supported by the Polish government, is blocking aid being disbursed as part of anti-crisis measures, which we have been calling for for months” - said Krzysztof Bosak, Confederation's presidential candidate, at a press conference.

- As president, I will be the patron of local self-government in Poland. And of restoring and granting competencies. The true realization of the principle of subsidiarity, meaning directing all decisions as close to the people as possible. I will be the author, should the government fail to deliver, of a law on local government revenues from VAT shares, and a subsidy guaranteeing 100% salary payments. This is in my election program, which was presented on February 29th in Jasionka. It remains current, and even more so after COVID-19, given the economic support. And of course, directing a broad stream of money towards investments - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a briefing in the municipality of Długosiodło. 

- Analyses are certainly being conducted here, which are important to know precisely whether, under the current circumstances, now is the moment for this resolution [of the National Electoral Commission] to be published. We are perfectly aware that we acted due to the delaying actions, that's how it must be said directly, of the Senate, in an uncertain legal regime, a legal system, when we wanted to conduct these elections. The opposition did not want to conduct these elections. Today, on the other hand, they say there is no problem whatsoever with collecting signatures or even without postal voting, in traditional elections. A decidedly inconsistent stance, but we want to fulfill our constitutional obligations, conduct these elections in accordance with the Constitution, and we will do so. Today we plan to do it for June 28th. A later date would not be advisable because, subsequently, the president's term ends on August 6th, and from the deadlines that then arise from the law, it could mean that the final announcement of the election or the confirmation of the election by the Supreme Court would drag on beyond that date, so today we are aiming for June 28th - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at a press briefing during his visit to the company "Monolit" in Zambrów.

Minister Szumowski is a person who significantly contributed to a much better fight against the coronavirus crisis than in many other countries. One only needs to look at Belgium, France, Spain, or Italy. There, the collapse of healthcare systems in the wealthiest countries in the world was and is noticeable, and in some places, it is simply enormous and widely criticized. It was precisely Minister Szumowski's decisions to protect every life and the health of Poles, to purchase equipment wherever possible, that led to us having a much better situation in healthcare compared to significantly wealthier nations. Therefore, all the decisions we made, which I also made, along with the Council of Ministers and the Central Procurement Centre, in searching for masks, respirators, goggles, and suits around the world, because they were the most scarce goods, were crucial. Anyone with such a short memory should reach for newspaper headlines, perhaps even their own, where various journalists are writing different things today that have nothing to do with reality. So, not only did Minister Szumowski act correctly and has my full support, but he also has the full support of Poles, because Poles know that he acted quickly, decisively, and radically to save health and lives, to prepare sanitary services, medical services, dedicated hospitals, and additional beds in infectious disease wards. All of this was done at the Ministry of Health. Additionally, I would like to thank them, specifically Ministers Cieszyński and Szumowski, for modernizing healthcare in such a short time, in the last two years, and for implementing e-prescriptions, which may have also saved hundreds of human lives. The lack of direct contact and the distancing implemented when the epidemic was in its growth phase directly contributed to us having significantly fewer deaths, which are the saddest data we receive. - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at a press briefing during his visit to the company 'Monolit' in Zambrów.

- I learned that thanks to our financial shield, the company plans to hire new employees. It is bringing in new technological lines, and exports to 15 countries worldwide. This export has somewhat dimmed, but they are looking for new clients and markets. This requires new employees, and this is the first very serious signal, a ray of hope, that we are returning to the path of development. That after these 2-2.5 months, when we had to freeze the economy, when we had to close down parts of the economy, we are in a completely different place today. This became possible thanks to the financial, anti-crisis shield. This particular company, Monolit, is benefiting from 3 different products of the anti-crisis shield. Guarantees, de minimis guarantees, as well as the financial shield, meaning direct subsidies from the Polish state budget for companies to save jobs and technological lines – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki during a visit to the "Monolit" company in Zambrów, which received PFR assistance through an application submitted via PKO BP.

„I don't blame the government for the drought. I blame them for the lack of drought countermeasures, the lack of retention reservoirs, the lack of a national small-scale retention program, for delayed payments, for the lack of aid. This is the fault of those who consider themselves the sole possessors of all knowledge today” – said the Polish Coalition's presidential candidate and PSL leader Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz. 

The Presidential Couple visited the Research and Development Centre of KB Folie Polska sp. z o.o. in Brzeziny near Mińsk Mazowiecki. “The Medical Fund was supposed to happen, and Jacek Kurski was supposed to be out of television. The Medical Fund isn't happening, and Jacek Kurski is returning to the television board. This is another instance of putting Andrzej Duda in his place. What is it intended for? It is intended for Jarosław Kaczyński to sign everything. 2 billion went to propaganda, to sycophantic drivel in "Wiadomości," not to treating sick children. - This is another day of delay, which shortens the electoral calendar and the time for potential signature gathering for everyone who wants to participate in these presidential elections from the very beginning, including PO candidate Rafał Trzaskowski. Today's Senate proceedings bring bad news for candidate Rafał Trzaskowski, as there is a significant conflict between PO senators and the Marshal of the Senate. Marshal Grodzki organized a meeting called a round table, where there was indeed a constructive conversation. Today, this constructiveness was lacking in many aspects. I'm not even mentioning the level of some senators' statements, because it was truly something that couldn't be responded to - stated Przemysław Czarnek at a press briefing. - We still hope that on the opposition's side, there will be those who will actually see that prolonging this work is completely pointless because it truly shortens the electoral calendar. We remain ready for constructive talks on the provisions of our bill and for answering substantive questions, which we have done. Every substantive question has been answered - he continued.

- So why didn't he say it then, when his boss Donald Tusk was raising that retirement age together with Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz? Somehow, I didn't hear Mr. Rafał Trzaskowski's voice then, protesting against the increase in retirement age in Poland. So many people protested back then, and it was one of the main demands of the 2015 election campaign to lower that age back, which I accomplished by submitting a presidential bill that was adopted by the Polish Sejm, and today we have the retirement age as it was before its increase, precisely because that was the demand of the citizens, which I fulfilled. Somehow, I don't see Mr. Trzaskowski reminding people about how he behaved back then, what his opinion was. Or perhaps he didn't have an opinion then? So this statement is very good, because he also talks. And I act. That is the difference between us - stated President Andrzej Duda during a Q&A on Facebook, when asked about the differences between his program and Rafał Trzaskowski's, because - as noted in Mr. Artur's question - no significant differences are apparent, as he also states he does not agree to the liquidation of the 500+ program and the increase in the retirement age.

„This situation shouldn't have happened at all. It's embarrassing. Anyone can sing. Anyone can listen, and anyone can play songs. Therefore, I don't understand this situation at all. We have freedom of expression in Poland, including through song. What happened is completely incomprehensible to me. I hope appropriate consequences will be drawn from this, because the question is whether it's some ill will or a complete lack of professionalism. I cannot answer that question. I think many artists are envious of Mr. Kazik Staszewski, because the popularity his song has gained because of this, and consequently the money he will earn, will surely spark envy in many musicians” – President Andrzej Duda said during a Q&A on Facebook.

- I will answer as one of my friends from Brussels answered me yesterday in a phone conversation, who said: Marian, from the perspective of Brussels, I see enormous progress, I can quote him by name and surname, regarding what is happening in Poland in the fight against the coronavirus. I told him, because such progress, dear Tomek, does exist. Objectively, it does. Even if certain regions, like Silesia, are still struggling, they will win. In Flanders, too, there is a problem. In other words, madam, when you say: the health of Poles, a self-portrait, indeed, just like all countries, we have been affected by the pandemic problem, and we are emerging again. If I can add something as a doctor, it's what my colleagues, friends from Norway, are now emphasizing. The Norwegians say, and they are pragmatic, they say: attention, dear ones, in two weeks we expect another wave of impact. This is being said by a colleague from Brussels, and by a colleague from Norway. That is why I even more strongly support the actions of GIS (Chief Sanitary Inspectorate), Minister Pinkas, and Minister Szumowski, because they are firmly saying: let's not unfreeze (restrictions). The Prime Minister also supports him - stated Marian Zembala in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń".

- If absurd things are being said, if it is being said that the National Centre for Research and Development conducted combined research, then I want to say one thing, and I say it firmly: stop this foolishness and hypocrisy. Ladies and gentlemen, the NCBR and the National Science Centre, these two state institutions, are models of transparent, pragmatic solutions - stated Marian Zembala in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń".

- Deputy Minister Banach, the current director of the Mother and Child Institute in Łódź, made changes, and then who did the most? Szumowski did the most. That the Ministry of Science noticed medicine as a science. Finally. This had never happened before. It was reprehensible, but it happened. That is why I stand by this man, and anyone who has a different opinion, please, I invite you to a conversation with arguments with me. I am able to meet these challenges - stated Marian Zembala in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń".

„I believe that if we count our votes, we'll meet in the second round. If we improve [the campaign], because today we need to improve it, because it's a new campaign, there's a reset, and today we showed that. I was in Silesia all day today. I met with people because I love meeting with people, I love being among people. - He was put in place in an absolutely classic way by Jarosław Kaczyński and will have to swallow this insult.
