Earlier, at 2:00 PM, a meeting of the parliamentary committee on special services will take place, which will provide an opinion on the Prime Minister's motions for the appointment of the head of the CBA and the deputy head of the CBA, as well as the dismissal of the deputy head of the CBA. Another item on the agenda is to provide an opinion on the Prime Minister's motion for the appointment of the deputy head of the ABW.

- This is a snippet of the whole, and the whole picture looks completely different. - Now we can corner PiS a bit in the Senate. We don't have such an opportunity in the Sejm because we are in opposition, but in the Senate, we can present specific amendments and also make the duration of the Senate's process and the bill's passage dependent on the acceptance of these amendments - the leader of PSL continued.

Yesterday, I asked about the election date from PiS representatives, as they have the best contact with the Marshal of the Sejm. And I received a very specific answer. That the last possible date, to avoid a situation where the office of the president becomes vacant after August 6th, is June 28th. And I think it can be assumed with a high degree of certainty that the elections, regardless of how long the discussion process in the Senate lasts, will be held on June 28th. This automatically, the later the law comes out of the Senate, will shorten the election campaign. So from this point of view, for candidates, it is obviously an unfavorable situation to have a short election campaign, because one cannot carry out their activities, which are already very difficult due to the coronavirus, and now they are completely impossible. So I would like us to reach an agreement as soon as possible and for there to be no need for lengthy work. It all depends on the ruling party, whether they want to quickly reach, or at all, reach some kind of agreement, to agree on some amendments or not - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in the TVN24 program “Rozmowa Piaseckiego”.

- The goods did not have a falsified certificate. We have a certificate for these masks, but they simply do not meet the standards. We have other batches where there are also certificates, and unfortunately, they do not meet the standards - Łukasz Szumowski said on RMF FM.

- Discussions had been underway for two weeks regarding the return or exchange of the goods, and only after receiving information that this return or exchange of goods would not happen, did we then file [filed] a report with the prosecutor's office - he added.

Trzeba zacząć od tego, że jeszcze nie ma ustawy w ostatecznym kształcie, dlatego że dopiero będą prace w Senacie. Nie wiemy, jakie poprawki Senat przyjmie, jak później będzie wyglądało przyjęcie tych poprawek przez parlament. Mam nadzieję przede wszystkim, że w tej chwili ten cały proces będzie dużo bardziej uporządkowany. Mam nadzieję, że terminy, które zostaną założone, będą realistyczne, tak żeby ten termin założony i zadeklarowany przez marszałek Witek dał odpowiednią ilość czasu na przygotowanie tych wyborów. "Kolejna kwestia to kwestia dotycząca samych okręgów wyborczych, dlatego że pojawiają się takie pomysły dotyczące tego, żeby ewentualnie te okręgi mogły być mniejsze, żeby łączyć ze sobą komisje w jednym okręgu. To też jest problem, dlatego że w niektórych miejscach w Warszawie takie komisje byłyby większe niż komisja w niejednej gminie i myślę, że podobnie jest w innych dużych miastach. Kolejny problem i chyba jeden z najważniejszych problemów to są nie do końca wyjaśnione kwestie związane z obowiązkami gmin dotyczącymi przygotowywania wyborów korespondencyjnych, dlatego że kwestia możliwości rejestrowania się, jeżeli ktoś chce uczestniczyć w wyborach korespondencyjnych, kwestia dostarczania pakietów, gdzie też można załatwić sprawę w gminie, patrząc na ten projekt, powoduje spory chaos. Nota bene z tego, jak czytam ten projekt ustawy, wynika że zupełnie inaczej wygląda doręczenie pakietu, jeżeli robi to gmina, inaczej jeżeli robi to poczta. Gmina musi dostarczyć ten pakiet bezpośrednio. W związku z tym tu pojawia się mnóstwo problemów, również czysto organizacyjnych, jak to przygotować tak, żeby to miało sens"

- No i ostatnia kwestia z tych kwestii, które chciałem poruszyć, to kwestia liczby członków komisji, dlatego że w tym projekcie pojawia się pomysł, żeby umożliwić ograniczanie liczby członków komisji, natomiast normalnie przynajmniej 5, a nie 3, to jest ta liczba, która jest potrzebna, a jeszcze przy dodatkowych obowiązków dot. Zapewnienia bezpieczeństwa, próba ograniczenia liczby członków komisji nie jest na pewno sensowna. Sporo tego typu technicznych problemów, poza finansowymi. Mówię, dziesiątki milionów złotych, ale poza finansowymi, techniczne problemy, które po prostu trzeba omówić i przygotować. Tak żeby później nie było problemów z organizacją wyborów. Więc nasz postulat jest bardzo prosty: ważne jest to, że jeżeli pojawią się merytoryczne poprawki w Senacie, które nie doprowadzają do jakichś daleko idących zmian, tylko przede wszystkim do respektowania prawa, ale również do uporządkowania tego całego procesu, no to one muszą być wzięte pod uwagę i warto byłoby też, żeby rząd skonsultował się z samorządami w tej sprawie, tak żeby ten termin wyborów, który zostanie określony przez panią marszałek Witek, był po prostu realistyczny - zaznaczył prezydent Warszawy.

- The rise in energy prices in Poland is caused by the EU's certification and CO2 emission trading policy. In a statement posted on her Twitter account, she urged citizens to reject the idea of a PiS-appointed commissioner taking over the administration of Warsaw.

The former mayor expressed deep concern that such a move would represent a significant setback for the city's democratic development and autonomy. She emphasized that Warsaw's residents have repeatedly demonstrated their will through democratic elections, and that their choices should be respected.

„I believe that [elections] cannot again be held in a chaotic and fictitious manner, and we will fight for this consistently. I am surprised that [Left MPs] want to be lackeys in the PiS process, because that is what it must be called. - It's not that we built what we built solely on Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska's weaknesses. We built it on thousands of people, on the wonderful actions they carried out, on the genuine enthusiasm that exists across the country. However, we are watching what's happening in PO closely, though in places it's starting to resemble a Brazilian telenovela - said Szymon Hołownia in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on the program "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.

- 'I'm absolutely not afraid of that [changes in support due to Rafał Trzaskowski's potential candidacy] because the machine we've set in motion is truly moving.
