Konwiński:
The Military Organized Politics Before 1989, and These Are Not Those Times. PiS Politicians Have Completely Lost Their Minds. A Soldier's Duty is to Guard Borders. In This Context, I Understand, My Colleague Nitras's Statement Was Made.
The military is for guarding our borders, our security. It is not for organizing elections. The military organized politics for us before 1989, and these are likely not those times. The military is for something else; PiS politicians have completely lost their minds regarding what the Polish army should serve and what the honor of a Polish soldier serves. Polish soldiers are not for that. A postman is not for conducting elections; he is for delivering mail, correspondence. A soldier is for guarding our borders, our security. That is what soldiers are for, and that is what postmen are for. In this context, as I understand it, my colleague Nitras's statement was made – said Zbigniew Konwiński during a press conference.
