At the Presidential Palace, President Andrzej Duda will meet with agriculture ministers from eight European Union countries (Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia, Romania, Poland) and the European Union Commissioner for Agriculture, Janusz Wojciechowski.

The aforementioned meeting will take place at **10:00 AM**, followed by a briefing by the President and the EU Commissioner for Agriculture at **10:35 AM**. Subsequently, at **12:00 PM**, PAD will participate in the ceremonial Gala of the XII edition of the "Employer Friendly to Employees" competition.

Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz will be in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. A press conference will be held in Wrocław at **10:00 AM**. Following this, the PSL leader will hold meetings with residents of Żmigród at **12:00 PM** and Środa Śląska at **3:00 PM**, as well as with local government officials at **7:00 PM**.

A meeting with Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska will take place in Piaseczno at **6:00 PM**.

- The head of the program headquarters is Prime Minister Beata Szydło, and the head of the organizational headquarters is MP Joachim Brudziński - said Jolanta Turczynowicz-Kieryłło in an interview with Marcin Wikło on TVP1's "Political Quarter Hour".

- So it's not the case that you are the super-boss directing these experienced politicians? - the journalist pressed.

- We have a very warm, friendly atmosphere in the headquarters overall, and no one perceives their role in the campaign in such a way. My role is more strategic, it's connected with the social and civic campaigns that I have created - Turczynowicz-Kieryłło replied.

- I must say that I was surprised that after such a positive message, after extending an olive branch, we received a blow and are receiving blow after blow. It was a big surprise. But I think good triumphs, and we will continue to conduct our campaign in a way that is focused on values, and not be a hate campaign, as proposed by Ms. Kidawa-Błońska's staff - said Jolanta Turczynowicz-Kieryłło in an interview with Marcin Wikło on TVP1's 'Political Quarter Hour'.

"We are very critical of such a mechanism and will do everything to ensure that such a mechanism [linking EU funds to the rule of law] does not exist. Fortunately, it is difficult to implement it without our consent. It does not make things easier. It unnecessarily leads to, for example, losses in negotiation time when a topic appears that does not actually exist in Poland. This is a fabricated issue that the opposition eagerly promotes in European circles. Not only in the European Parliament, but also through its former representatives in the European Commission. This is an issue that hinders [budgetary] negotiations" - said government spokesperson Piotr Müller in an interview with Jedynka radio.

- We need to have a strategy. It's not about one move. It's not about fighting the symptom, it's about fighting the cause. Therefore, it is an extreme abuse to equate this PLN 2 billion subsidy with taking money away from cancer patients. One could just as well say: then let's give it to the roads in Poland. And again, launch a campaign: The President didn't want to give money to Polish roads because he's giving it to television. And I ask, is public television just the 'Wiadomości' program? This is also deception. Public television has an educational mission, it has many educational programs, films. Radio too - said Jolanta Turczynowicz-Kieryłło in a conversation with Marcin Wikło on TVP1's 'Political Quarter Hour'.

Everyone sees what's happening [with Andrzej Duda's campaign]. And it's not good. There's no need for polls, because I've repeatedly warned against getting excited, even addicted, to polls. You need to talk to people, and anyone who has contact with reality sees how things are - stated Marcin Mastalerek in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego Kampania 2020". - The problem is much deeper, in my opinion. It's always difficult, not just in politics but in life, to learn from mistakes after victories, after wins. It's easy to reflect on oneself and correct certain things when they aren't working after a loss. However, victories can lull you into complacency. We've dealt with weak PiS campaigns, both European, local, and parliamentary, even though they were victorious. It's obvious that you can lose a campaign but win an election. However, PiS ruled for 4 years, people were satisfied, there were significant social transfers, and I posit that achieving 50% in these parliamentary elections was possible, and the problem is deeper. Specifically, after these victories, PiS failed to learn from its weak campaigns, and today all of this has accumulated, and unfortunately, the president may fall victim to this failure of the ruling camp to learn from its mistakes. He is currently falling victim, but there's still a long way to go until the elections, and this is a moment, an opportunity. What is happening today is an opportunity for the ruling camp, for PiS - he continued.

If I can offer any advice, I would advise an opening of minds, conversation, and acceptance of facts as they are. Because in politics, it is unfortunately most difficult for politicians to accept certain things, come to terms with them, and then draw conclusions. However, today this crisis in the campaign or polls should be used as an opportunity. An opportunity to make April and May better – stated Marcin Mastalerek in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego Kampania 2020".

- Unfortunately, previous campaigns, and each one differs from the others, were conducted as if different elections were taking place. The local government campaign was like a presidential campaign, the European campaign was conducted like a parliamentary campaign, and today, this presidential campaign looks to me as if PiS were running in parliamentary elections. Well, the elections on May 10th are presidential elections, not parliamentary ones - stated Marcin Mastalerek in a conversation with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego Kampania 2020".

- One could have prepared for the convention, done it the way it's being done now. I heard a few days before that it would be the biggest election convention in 30 years. That's the first mistake. You can't inflate expectations so much. These are simply schoolbook, basic mistakes, and then the convention, which actually has no idea or any follow-up, ended, perhaps except for public media, the day after that convention. There was no information on portals the day after - he continued.

„I know the version presented by the attorney [Turczynowicz-Kieryłło], according to which she was choked by this man. She has a medical report to confirm this. In self-defense, she bit him. I also saw a fragment of testimony from one of the municipal guards who participated in this intervention, who claimed that he didn't see any leaflets” - said PiS Deputy Spokesperson Radosław Fogiel in an interview with Beata Lubecka on Radio Zet.

„In this whole situation, I believe the matter will be clarified and we'll forget about it shortly. Something else is outrageous. Even assuming there were leaflets, which I am not prejudging, but purely hypothetically, attacking someone physically and reacting to it are two different things. A woman is defending herself, and all weekend we had a festival of hate, inspired mainly by an article in 'Gazeta Wyborcza', where terrible arguments were made [in public discourse]” - he added.  

When asked if the option of replacing the campaign manager was being considered, he replied that it was not.

- I don't know how it happened that a few days after the Marshal of the Sejm announced the [presidential] elections, a bill allocating 2 billion PLN to public television is being voted on in the Sejm. Well, I sincerely apologize, someone is responsible for this. Someone made a decision. This bill was submitted in December. It was known that there would be elections - stated Marcin Mastalerek in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego Kampania 2020".

- There is no idea, I don't see this idea for this [Andrzej Duda's] campaign, and this convention unfortunately showed that there is no idea for a start - stated Marcin Mastalerek in a conversation with Konrad Piasecki in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego Kampania 2020" on TVN24.

- The beginning [of a campaign] is very important. It looks the way everyone sees it. In my opinion, it is a failure, and I say this as a sympathizer and I believe that conclusions must be drawn from this. I am not saying this to vent on anyone, but I am speaking truthfully, seeing that the other side is doing something, has ideas, and it's evident there are people there who know what they are doing - stated Marcin Mastalerek in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego Kampania 2020".

- I know I might appear very friendly, naive, and gullible, but if the editor thinks I'm going to open up now in the TVN studio and talk about what we considered weaknesses... From day one, I was convinced that Andrzej Duda would become president. Incidentally, Beata Szydło admitted in interviews that there were two people who believed this. It was Andrzej Duda and Marcin Mastalerek - stated Marcin Mastalerek in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego Kampania 2020".

When asked about candidate Andrzej Duda's biggest weakness, he replied: - I prefer to look at the president's strengths. I see plenty of qualities to leverage in other candidates, and honestly speaking, if you were to list five qualities needed by a president that matter in a campaign next to each candidate's name, I believe the president wins 4:1 against every single opponent.

- I'll say what Krzysztof Łapiński said: the one who gets more votes [will win the presidential election]. I bet at the beginning of January with someone that the president would win in the first round. And observing the start of the campaign, I'm concerned because I see I'm losing the bet. But there's still a lot of time until the election - stated Marcin Mastalerek in a conversation with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego Kampania 2020".

- The mistakes made by the Law and Justice party's campaign team are perspective-enhancing. They undoubtedly work very much in favor of their opponents - said Julia Pitera in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus's "Sedno Sprawy" (The Core of the Matter).

- But the minister, when asked about the Civic Platform's candidate, did not say a single good word - the journalist observed.

- You know, to say a good word. I am observing this campaign, I have reservations, and I maintain that Ms. Kidawa-Błońska definitely has a chance to win these elections. However, I have reservations about the campaign - Pitera added.

I believe the campaign could have been a bit more energetic. February is ending, and we've known who the candidate will be for two months. To be honest, not necessarily by conducting campaign activities, because that wasn't possible before the formal establishment of the committee, but that doesn't mean that campaign activities couldn't be conducted within the scope of parliamentary work – said Julia Pitera in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus's "Sedno Sprawy" (The Core of the Matter).

- There must be a campaign team. Every politician in an election campaign has a team. I even had my own team when running for a parliamentary seat. People I consulted with, we coordinated calendars, activities. And this is on an even larger scale. That's why I'm a bit concerned that the campaign manager is, for example, an MEP. For obvious reasons, I was also an MEP and I know that time is limited - said Julia Pitera in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on "Sedno Sprawy" (The Heart of the Matter) on Radio Plus.

- Yesterday in Opole with Paweł Kukiz, with our colleagues from the Polish Coalition, today in Wrocław in Lower Silesia. This is how the campaign will be, close to the people, every day at meetings, because only in this way can Poland be changed, the terrible disease of hatred that poisons our country can be ended and stopped. More and more people are convinced of this - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz during a press conference in Wrocław.

- You cannot choose bad people and expect them to do good things. I will not deviate from the path of restoring brotherhood to Poland. I will not deviate from the path of ending the Polish-Polish war, because this hope is needed for Poland, and this hope will prevail. I am absolutely convinced of this. I hope it will happen this year - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz during a press conference in Wrocław. 

- This Saturday's convention [of Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska] will be entirely different from the one presented by Andrzej Duda. It will be a convention where specific details and a concrete vision of the presidency will be presented - stated Marcin Kierwiński in an interview with Łukasz Rogojsz on Gazeta.pl's Morning Talk.

- There was a huge dissonance in President Duda's convention. On the one hand, American pomp, Byzantine splendor... and what remained of it? What content was left? The acting prime minister, the leader of the largest party, the acting president, and a former prime minister spoke. What content came out of that convention? That the president's greatest assets are his wife, daughter, mother, and father? - he continued.

- We will certainly not compete with PiS in terms of pomp, but we will definitely show specifics - emphasized the PO politician.

„We discussed very important issues related to what is currently topical in the EU, namely the matter of establishing the European budget for the next financial perspective and, within this budget, the issue of financial resources that will be allocated to the Common Agricultural Policy” - President Andrzej Duda said after a meeting with Commissioner Janusz Wojciechowski.

„We would like to maintain the very high quality of Polish agriculture, fulfilling all the elements necessary for agriculture to develop, while preserving its extremely positive aspect, that production in relation to what we see in the West is significantly more organic. This food is much healthier” - he added.

„Funds for the Common Agricultural Policy cannot be lower than they have been so far. This is the stance of all [agriculture] ministers from the countries in our part of Europe. They cannot be smaller. And within all of this, the issue of direct payments, so very important for farmers, must also be strongly raised, and it is being strongly raised. Our demand is that subsidies for Polish farmers should be equalized with the EU average, so that a Polish farmer does not receive less than the EU average” - the President stated. 

- Unfortunately, after 100 days of Prime Minister Morawiecki's government, the Law and Justice (PiS) government, there is no sign that this government is ready to fulfill its election promises. Poles have been deceived again. Again, PiS politicians promised one thing during the election campaign and are doing something completely different now. Today, the symbol of these 100 days of Prime Minister Morawiecki's government is three numbers. Firstly, 30 million. 30 million for bonuses for high-ranking officials in ministries, paid essentially for these two months of work since the government began operating - said Jan Grabiec during a press conference in the Sejm. - The second number characterizing these 100 days of the government is almost 120 ministers and deputy ministers. This is one of the largest governments in the Third Polish Republic in terms of the number of ministers, and therefore the costs that taxpayers have to bear - he continued. - The third number, perhaps the worst, is from the state budget and the projects presented by this government, the figure of two billion zlotys that this government wants to allocate to propaganda on TVP - added Grabiec.

Indeed, it may seem that a few days after the announcement of President Andrzej Duda's campaign manager, she, that person, constitutes a serious burden for President Andrzej Duda's campaign. We can clearly see that instead of leading the campaign, the head of staff is explaining her statements and her behavior from recent years - said Jan Grabiec during a press conference in the Sejm. 

“I had a dilemma about how to speak at a meeting dedicated to international politics, diplomacy, matters quite distant from what has been happening in Poland recently, and at the same time, it is very difficult not to notice how far the degeneration of those in power has gone. I increasingly struggle with how to name these things, both when I am in the country and abroad, how to explain that the head of the Supreme Audit Office (NIK), a position in every European country and around the world where trust, integrity, and transparency are crucial, is someone who is wanted for arrest and control by those who elected him. I'm not even mentioning the moral aspect with hourly rooms” – said the head of the EPP, Donald Tusk, at a press conference in Białystok.

"If today people all over the world are holding their heads in their hands and wondering what is happening here, these are people who don't think ill of Poland and Poles, but quite the opposite. They cannot understand, and in any capital city I visit, the reaction is the same: how is it possible – Poles, such fantastic people who for so many years have shown the whole world that one can rise rapidly, Poland, which was such a symbol of European success – how is it possible that suddenly a group of people has seized power and is doing things that are incomprehensible anywhere" – said the head of the EPP, Donald Tusk, at a press conference in Białystok.

„Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, for many reasons, is the candidate I will support with all my might and from the bottom of my heart, but of course, only in the way she wishes. We have such a very clear agreement. The candidate in the presidential election is Ms. Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, and the Marshal will decide what she needs and what she doesn't need. I hope that everyone who wants to support her in this race will respect her decisions” - said the head of the EPP, Donald Tusk, at a press conference in Białystok.

- It's certainly too early; I have some experience accumulated over these last 30 years, so it's still too early to talk about such a clear trend. There are certainly signals [recent polls] that the president should not ignore. I am not, and never will be, his advisor, and these signals, frankly, please me, but I would be cautious about stating that it's a trend, although, to be honest, a sitting president who clearly doesn't have 50% today, and how much each of the counter-candidates has is very variable in polls, but one thing that seems absolutely certain, based on all the polls, is that President Duda does not have 50% support from Poles today. Therefore, defeating him is no longer just a mirage or some immature dream of a weak opposition. It has become a political and social fact. A small but clear majority of Poles would want a different president, and the first round, because there was no opposition unity, which, in my opinion, would have been counterproductive and perhaps simply impossible, so this first round will be a kind of primary election, and there's no other way - stated Donald Tusk in an interview with journalists in Białystok.

- Both my reason and my heart tell me that Marshal Kidawa-Błońska will reach the second round, and I believe that in the end, it will turn out that she has the greatest chances and will simply win - stated Donald Tusk in an interview with journalists in Białystok.

„The stench of crime, gangs, and the mafia, which hangs over state institutions in Poland every day, requires absolute clarity when it comes to the rule of law in Poland. I would very much wish that all candidates, just as the Marshal is doing, would be unambiguous. At least that unites everyone, but only Marshal Kidawa-Błońska was unambiguous, sharp, and decisive, stating that there is no agreement, no question of seeking compromise, that we should meet halfway with those who break the constitution. No, on this matter, everyone must say 'yes, yes,' 'no, no.' My request to all candidates is that they leave no room for doubt, no room for any interpretations in this matter” – said the head of the EPP, Donald Tusk, at a press conference in Białystok.

„[Kidawa-Błońska] has a chance to win these elections. I believe it's within reach. Nobody has any guarantees, but it is within reach. This is her task, her will, and her responsibility, and she must manage it. I am convinced she will succeed. If I can help, I will do everything I can” – said the head of the EPP, Donald Tusk, at a press conference in Białystok. 

„I prefer conversation to shouting, but I also cannot stand hypocrisy and outright lies. Starting from Białystok, but everywhere I’ve been in Poland, in several campaigns I have been the object of various events and actions, and I have also been the subject of clear aggression, including physical aggression, so no one will fool me with these tearful tales from PiS politicians that they are so outraged and horrified because someone shouted a critical opinion, even if it is strong. I know who uses vulgar language in Poland, and it is not the camp of Madam Marshal Kidawa-Błońska. I would not be surprised if, as I observed up close, this happened a meter away from me when I was running for office, when Bronisław Komorowski was running, when people were put in place by various provocations to achieve such an effect. No one in politics is perfect, but when it comes to aggression and vulgar attacks on opponents, PiS has no competition. Let no one try to convince anyone in Poland, even if they are from the so-called public media, that Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska is the aggressor who attacks her opponents. She is a gentle, delicate, and cultured person” - said Donald Tusk, the head of the EPP, at a press conference in Białystok. 

'He won't wipe away Lichocka's finger [by vetoing the public media compensation bill]. Everyone knows more or less what it's about. I'm also glad that these things are finally being called by their names, even if public media later cut this statement due to informal censorship, but more and more people know that these 2 billion for public media are 2 billion for PiS propaganda, and sometimes Zenek will still sing. Okay, there's no particular harm here, but mainly it's for propaganda, and therefore also for President Duda's election campaign. So, I don't think he has enough courage or character that would prompt him to veto [the public media compensation bill]. Besides, until now, it probably never even occurred to him to oppose President Kaczyński, and I see no reason why he would suddenly become a man now' – stated Donald Tusk in a conversation with journalists in Białystok.

"It is the opposition's right to show and make Poles realize how the government's emotional attitude towards Poles looks today. I know that she [Joanna Lichocka] showed it to the Platform, not to patients. She certainly did not have such an intention, but she did it precisely at the moment when the decision was being made whether the money would go to exceptionally vile, brutal, and at times brown – I will use that political color – propaganda in public media, or if it would go to treating people" - said the head of the EPP, Donald Tusk, at a press conference in Białystok. 

“Someone who, in such a black-and-white situation, decides on such a gesture, says everything about this government and themselves. Even if she didn't intend to offend anyone with this gesture, she certainly achieved one thing – she showed the essence of this government. To take as much as possible, a little for themselves, a little for lies and propaganda, and to deceive and lie to people as much as possible. This is Lichocka's gesture” – said the head of the EPP, Donald Tusk, at a press conference in Białystok.

- Today, we held detailed consultations with the Minister of Health, the Chief Sanitary Inspector, and specialists in medicine and healthcare regarding the risks associated with the coronavirus. Here, it is crucial to emphasize that, as Minister Szumowski stated a few weeks ago, this virus, which is moving closer to Europe, has already caused cases in several countries in northern Italy. The virus is indeed more widespread and must be contained appropriately through procedures, behaviors, and particularly medical protocols. Therefore, we also conducted extensive consultations and an information campaign today with all voivodes and provincial sanitary inspectors – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at a press briefing.

- We have diagnostic laboratories ready to analyze genetic material for coronavirus detection. Two are continuously operational, and six are being launched, although there is no immediate need for them to be active and continuously collecting samples for testing. However, we want to be prepared, even excessively so, just in case the virus appears in Poland and affects a larger number of people – he continued.

- It is also worth highlighting that for all Poles returning from abroad, whether from holidays, diplomatic or economic missions, or simply visiting friends, we have prepared SMS alerts. Through these, we will provide appropriate information on how to behave, what symptoms may indicate the presence or absence of the coronavirus, and what to avoid. For individuals arriving by plane, we have additional temperature checks. PLL LOT is also equipping itself with thermometers to be able to utilize this diagnostic element very quickly and effectively – PMM noted.

The Council of Ministers will, at its Tuesday session, consider a draft bill concerning an additional annual monetary benefit for pensioners and annuitants in 2021, effectively introducing the 14th pension. The session will commence at 10:00 AM.

- I think the President [Duda] is a good speaker, he is seasoned, to put it colloquially, in various kinds of debates or public appearances, so I don't see a problem or I don't think he would avoid debates - stated Krzysztof Łapiński in an interview with Marcin Zaborski on RMF FM.

- I am outside the campaign team, I am not participating in the campaign, so I don't know what will happen, but I assume the President will debate in the first round, remembering the declarations made 5 years ago - he continued.

"Donald Tusk is always a person with whom it's good to talk, he has great political experience, and his participation in the campaign can only be a plus. There is no politician with such experience in our country. His knowledge of Europe, and we need to rebuild good relations with Europe, will certainly be utilized, and I am very glad that the chairman supported me and said he would back me in the campaign" - said Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, candidate of Civic Coalition for president and Deputy Marshal, at a press conference in Piaseczno.

„Advisory role is very practical, and I will certainly use Donald Tusk's advice and experience. The campaign is ongoing, so you will learn about all additional matters as they arise. This is our scenario, and we must implement it to the best of our ability” - said the Civic Coalition's presidential candidate and Deputy Marshal Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska at a press conference in Piaseczno.

"I don't believe the President will veto this bill [on so-called compensation for TVP]. He has often failed to make decisions independently. Even now, when Poles are appealing to him, he hasn't made a decision. To be independent takes a bit of courage. Observing the President's actions over the past years, there was no independence in his conduct" – said Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, Civic Coalition's presidential candidate and Deputy Marshal, at a press conference in Piaseczno.

“It's always said that if you make 'masculine' decisions, they are tough and difficult decisions. That's how it's embedded in our language. I rather understood it to mean that Chairman Tusk expects the President to show that he is independent and has character” - said Civic Coalition presidential candidate, Deputy Marshal Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, at a press conference in Piaseczno.

The [presidential] election 5 years ago showed one thing. That there is no candidate, not even a president, who cannot lose an election. Of course, [Andrzej Duda is not invincible]. The history of the Third Polish Republic shows that incumbent presidents have lost, Lech Wałęsa lost, Bronisław Komorowski lost. However, today Andrzej Duda is leading the polls and has the best chance of winning, but there are still over 70 days of campaign ahead of us. Many things can happen during that time – stated Krzysztof Łapiński in an interview with Marcin Zaborski on RMF FM.

- This is again a topic [the bill on compensation for public media] that the President will have to deal with, because whatever decision he makes, it may always result in the loss of some voters. For the President, it would have been best if such a situation did not occur at the peak of the campaign. And it's a bit strange [that someone planned it that way], because there is a campaign timing. Yes, it was a mistake. Because if it was known that such a bill could stir various emotions, objections, or provoke another political brawl, then such matters should have been closed several, or a dozen or so weeks before the election campaign, so that – to put it colloquially – people would forget about them – stated Krzysztof Łapiński in an interview with Marcin Zaborski on RMF FM.

- Today I asked the Prime Minister a series of questions on social media. I did not receive answers to them at the press conference. I specifically asked them before the conference so he could respond. I would like to know if Poland has a 24-hour diagnosis system ready after sample collection. Meaning, a patient arrives and in 24 hours the material is sent for examination. Are we ready for this - stated Bartosz Arłukowicz in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on Polsat News's "Gość Wydarzeń" (Guest of Events).

- Today I was reading the recommendations of the national consultant for infectious diseases, and in these recommendations, it is written, for example, that the hospital is responsible for the transport of this sample with suspected content of this virus.
