At 11:00 AM in the Sejm, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz will participate in a meeting of the expert team for the reform of the judiciary. Subsequently, the PSL candidate for President of Poland will travel to the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, where at 4:00 PM he will meet with residents of Jędrzejów, and at 6:00 PM with residents of Sędziszów.

At 3:30 PM in Człuchów, Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska will hold a press briefing. At 4:30 PM, the Civic Coalition candidate for president will meet with residents of Człuchów, and at 7:00 PM - with residents of Chojnice.

At 2:00 PM in Warsaw, a press conference by Robert Biedroń will take place with the participation of, among others, former ambassador Stanisław Ciosek. The topic: Negotiations for funds for Poland within the framework of the next budget perspective and the potential loss of Just Transition Fund resources. Immediately after the press conference, Biedroń will fly to Brussels, where on Thursday he will hold a series of talks with EU leaders regarding budget negotiations.

The President should act not in his own political interest, but in the interest of citizens and decency. But in this case, acting in the president's political interest and acting in the citizens' interest are the same. The President should veto this bill [on compensation for public media]. In my opinion, he won't veto it because his political principal's will is different. If Jarosław Kaczyński wanted him to veto this bill, this bill wouldn't even be in the Sejm at this stage. After all, PiS is aware that it is inconvenient, it doesn't fulfill any, not even social, demands of PiS voters. It involves putting 2 billion PLN, a substantial sum, into the hands of TVP, about which, according to research, a large part of PiS voters also have a critical opinion and realize that it is a propaganda, government television – stated Michał Kamiński in an interview with Krzysztof Skórzyński on TVN24's "Jeden na jeden".

- It's not that we are suddenly, wanting to exploit cancer patients in an election campaign or in politics in general, suddenly saying: take from them, give to cancer patients. It was the government that said that in Poland, which lacks funds for many things, the government suddenly says: we have an extra 2 billion PLN and the government says: we want to spend it, we want to give it to Jacek Kurski and his institution. We say: no, if you say that in this tight budget you have an extra 2 billion PLN, where every Polish entrepreneur, including those listening to us, knows how all possible services of the Polish state are squeezing entrepreneurs for every zloty today, meaning these funds are needed by the budget, they say: we have an extra 2 billion. Then we say: if you have an extra 2 billion, then please, don't give it to TVP, give it to oncology. A simple choice - stated Michał Kamiński in an interview with Krzysztof Skórzyński on TVN24's "Jeden na jeden".

- MP Lichocka did what she did. Everyone saw it. Yes, because sometimes one gesture says more than a thousand words, and this gesture says so much about PiS's attitude towards the 'worse sort,' towards 'treacherous faces,' towards 'Gestapo informants,' etc. These are all epithets that Jarosław Kaczyński has used to describe his political opponents. MP Lichocka stated publicly that she wishes for Jarosław Kaczyński's absolute rule in Poland. A Member of Parliament said that he would like Kaczyński's absolute rule in Poland. Therefore, if someone to whom we want to give all power in Poland names the opposition in this way, then the MP believes she can make such a gesture to the opposition - stated Michał Kamiński in an interview with Krzysztof Skórzyński on TVN24's "One on One."

- PiS has a very hard time admitting guilt. Secondly, MP Lichocka enjoys special favor from President Kaczyński because she was loyal to him even in times when nobody believed in him, and many people, including those currently in PiS, were leaving Kaczyński. MP Lichocka, it's absolutely difficult to accuse her of opportunism; she has always consistently believed that Jarosław Kaczyński has the best prescription for Poland. I say this without irony, and Jarosław Kaczyński greatly cares for people who are loyal to him - stated Michał Kamiński in an interview with Krzysztof Skórzyński on TVN24's "Jeden na jeden".

- We are playing to get into the second round [of the presidential elections]. If today there are polls showing that among all of Andrzej Duda's opponents, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz enjoys the greatest public trust... At this stage [Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska has greater support]. I believe that the greatest chance to convince voters that they should not give full power over Poland to Jarosław Kaczyński, will require convincing those voters who are wavering between PiS and the opposition, and to convince these voters, Kosiniak-Kamysz is the best. That's what I think. But as for whether Kosiniak or anyone else, who will be in the second round from the opposition candidates, should support him, I hope it will be Kosiniak-Kamysz, or anyone else in the second round who is against Duda, that is obvious to me - stated Michał Kamiński in an interview with Krzysztof Skórzyński on TVN24's "One on One".

I believe that something big would have to happen for them [Andrzej Duda] not to lose [the presidential election]. And I'm saying this quite seriously. If last October a million more people voted for opposition parties than for PiS, then logically, these people did not vote for PiS because they considered it too radical, and even in elections where there were no great chances of defeating PiS, this additional million Poles made the effort to go to the polls and vote for, let's be frank, not the champions of the world, which is the Polish opposition. What has happened in recent months to make a million people in Poland, who made the effort on October 13th and gave the opposition, for example, a majority in the Senate, now not go and vote against Andrzej Duda? - stated Michał Kamiński in a conversation with Krzysztof Skórzyński on TVN24's "One on One". - So far, nothing has happened that would convince this million voters who did not vote for PiS because they considered it too radical, not because it is not radical enough, that today PiS is consistently veering. We have a war with Europe, and it will soon dawn on many, including PiS voters, whether it is worth losing 2 million euros a day in the name of the private war waged by Mr. Kaczyński and Ziobro against Polish courts - he continued.

„[I think of PO as] a rational centrist party that doesn't go to any extremes. We don't deal with worldview issues. We say that for Poland to develop, the state must not fear its citizens. We say 'stop the state capture by politicians.' We talk about clear, readable rules of public service, about the state not being omnipresent in the economy. We talk about the primacy of private property” – said the Civic Platform leader Borys Budka in an interview with Piotr Kraśko on Radio TOK FM's Poranek.

- Zbigniew Ziobro employs a tactic of radicalizing the policy of his camp to such an extent that Jarosław Kaczyński and the entire camp become hostages to his politics. He has succeeded brilliantly at this now. There is no doubt about it. Today, PiS is a hostage to Ziobro, and what's more, Ziobro has gained a certain immunity, because in this situation, rumors that he might be replaced are, of course, groundless. It is known that Ziobro is currently untouchable within this power structure – stated Michał Kamiński in an interview with Krzysztof Skórzyński on TVN24's "Jeden na jeden".

- I like to ask myself a question that I cannot ask Jarosław Kaczyński in private. But Kaczyński likes to ponder people's intentions. So, if I could, I would ask Kaczyński: Mr. Chairman, since you have designated Mateusz Morawiecki as your successor, it means that Morawiecki will be the beneficiary of Kaczyński's success. Then, what can Ziobro be a beneficiary of within the power camp? Only Kaczyński's defeat, because he will certainly not be the beneficiary of success anymore, as Morawiecki has been designated for that role – he continued.

„It is important to show, at least in the media, what happens when politicians get their hands on a certain branch. We are talking about the famous 2 billion for propaganda, which could go towards the needs of people who are seriously ill. Instead, it goes not only to lies and propaganda, but primarily to buying people, to rewarding the production of untruth. I am thinking here of the horrendous earnings of the TV CEO, the announcers, because I am not talking about journalists, as journalists are hard to find there anymore. This is the clash of the state. The PiS state is an omnipotent, strong state, when citizens are afraid” - said the chairman of Civic Platform, Borys Budka, in an interview with Piotr Kraśko on Radio TOK FM's Poranek.

Today we are truly launching, igniting President Andrzej Duda's fully-fledged election staff. The person who will lead it will be presented by the president today. It would be inappropriate for me to get ahead of things. Negotiations are not ongoing; everyone already knows their place on this campaign chessboard, but let's leave that to the president – stated Radosław Fogiel in an interview with Marek Pyza on TVP1's "Political Quarter of an Hour".

"Certainly, this behavior weighed down the start of President Duda's campaign, however, the MP has apologized. I believe that Poles will be able to appreciate that," said Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin on Radio Jedynka.

"I am a realist. All polls show there will be a second round, and that Andrzej Duda and Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska will face each other in that second round. I list them in that order because those will likely be their placings after the first round. The second round will be close, which is why Porozumienie is so heavily involved, and why I am appealing to the supporters of the United Right to mobilize to the maximum" - said Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin on Polskie Radio Program 1.

- Programmatic details [specifics today] not yet, as this is not the occasion. We will likely talk a bit about how this campaign will proceed, how we envision it, and in addition to that, because when we talk about headquarters, we're not just talking about the personnel, which is indeed the most important aspect here, the people who will be Andrzej Duda's first-round team, but we are also opening the headquarters as a place, a venue that people can come to. The President's supporters can come, talk. Opponents too, as we've seen many times. I suspect the same familiar, rehearsed faces of hecklers will accompany us on the campaign trail. Oh well, that's their dubious charm, but at these headquarters, one will be able to familiarize themselves with the candidate's achievements to date, with his ideas, which we will gradually present in the coming weeks, and pick up campaign materials - stated Radosław Fogiel in a conversation with Marek Pyza on TVP1's "Polityczny Kwadrans" (Political Quarter Hour).

Andrzej Duda will easily handle any debate. The only question is whether the campaign calendar will allow it, because President Duda's priority in this campaign will be meetings in Poland, with Poles, which are definitely much more natural, much more sincere, less staged than television debates. You know, this campaign started very strangely because the big boom and big start of PiS completely shattered the entire campaign. I'm talking about the gesture of MP Lichocka, about everything that happened... - Grzegorz Schetyna said in an interview with Robert Mazurek on RMF FM. - It's a catastrophe and it will have an impact, it already has an impact on this campaign. When it comes to Civic Platform, Civic Coalition, I believe it is very systematic and consistent - the former PO chairman continued. - Consistency is needed, visits and conversations are needed. There will be no fireworks here. If there are to be fireworks like those we saw from MP Lichocka, then I want consistent, calm, reliable work - he emphasized.

„[We expect from the Russian side] support in all organizational matters. This is on the territory of the Russian Federation, so by necessity, this response must include openness to help in this matter [ceremonies related to the anniversaries of Katyn and the Smolensk disaster]. PiS has allocated 2 billion PLN to a party, propaganda television, instead of using these funds for the treatment of cancer patients. The outrage of Poles is even greater because everyone saw the gesture of MP Lichocka, a gesture for which, in essence, no one has apologized, including President Duda. This is why Civic Platform is inviting you to watch an ad that shows how things are. We hope that TVP will also not be scared and will not block the airing of this ad - said Izabela Leszczyna at a press briefing.

- It is a very simple choice, which is why we call on Andrzej Duda not to hesitate, but to transfer these funds as quickly as possible to save human lives. This is his responsibility to the generations of Poles and thousands of sick people and their families who are at risk every day. Really, Mr. President, please do not hesitate, please veto this bill immediately - said Robert Kropiwnicki.

- The choice is really simple. Either 2 billion for Jacek Kurski's propaganda or 2 billion for the treatment of cancer patients. Civic Platform demands that this be money for the treatment of cancer patients. There is no reason why a Czech should have twice the chance of survival than a Pole - stated Leszczyna.

„I learned about this from the media [the arrest of Tomasz Kaczmarek and the CBA's search of the homes of Marian Banas's family members]. As the spokesperson for the President's campaign staff, I have no comment on this matter. We had a staff meeting, and during that meeting, we received news that this had happened. We had no prior knowledge. This is the implementation, as I understand it, of the prosecutor's recommendations and ongoing investigations,” said Adam Bielan, spokesperson for Andrzej Duda's campaign staff.

- This is a huge mistake, of course, as you know, in our opinion, but above all, it's a significant financial loss for Polish women and men. For the disregard of the rule of law, for departing from the common climate policy, we, Polish women and men, will have to pay a real price in this new EU budgetary perspective. I know what I'm talking about, because I am not only a Member of the European Parliament but also a member of the EP's budget committee. We are working on future EU budgets and I know what Poland's position is on these matters today. It is a position of isolation; Poland is not at the negotiating table, contrary to what Prime Minister Morawiecki claims. Today, Poland is a lone player. Even Hungary, which was supposed to be our closest friend, with whom we were meant to play in this team of Kaczyński and Orbán's states, turns out that even Hungary has left Poland alone. For this isolation, according to the plans of the EU, the European Council, the European Commission, Poland will have to pay a very high price. A cut in funds for the Common Agricultural Policy, unfortunately, over 20%. A cut in funds for cohesion policy – further percentages. A cut in funds for the Just Transition Fund – one billion euros. These are funds that will not go towards many important investments in local governments, NGOs, companies; they will not reach Polish women and men, and yet we, Polish women and men, know best what EU integration is, what a good EU budget is. Such a weak budget as we have today, unfortunately, Poland has never had in the long-term EU perspective – stated Robert Biedroń at a briefing in front of the Presidential Palace.

- That is why I accepted an important invitation from the heads of government of European countries to participate all day tomorrow in meetings with prime ministers and leaders of EU states, and to present a different perspective on Poland's policy towards the EU. I will have a series of meetings during the so-called budget summit with the heads of state such as Spain, Portugal, which holds the presidency in the second half of 2020, and Finland. I will also meet with the Vice-President of the European Commission responsible for the new Green Deal, Frans Timmermans. Why? To save this budget. All hands on deck. The PiS government has not coped; it has become completely unreliable, it has failed us. Therefore, politicians who today have any possibility to influence this budget to be better should participate in these discussions today, and that is why I accepted this invitation from the heads of these states to participate in these meetings, to explain why these funds for just transition, for the new Green Deal, for the cohesion fund, for a good, common agricultural policy, were also allocated to Poland – he continued.

"For a week now I have been saying that the President should veto this bill [on the so-called compensation for public media]. Poles expect this of him and he should do it immediately, not wait until the last moment. He should come out and say 'yes, this bill is bad, I am not signing it'. I am counting on him perhaps listening to Poles all these days and finding the courage to do so" - said Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, the KO candidate for president and Deputy Speaker, in Człuchów.

„The President's campaign team consists of people whom PiS brings out in situations when they are in the most difficult position, when they fear their victory the most. This means they do not feel secure and will use all means to defeat the representatives of the opposition” – stated Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, Civic Coalition’s presidential candidate and Deputy Marshal, in Człuchów.

- It will be a difficult campaign, of course. A presidential campaign always enjoys the highest turnout in Poland. Most certainly, our opponents are very strongly mobilized, they are ready for anything. We saw in Puck, they are capable of organizing provocateurs who vulgarly insult the president during official ceremonies - stated Adam Bielan in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on Polsat News's "Guest of Events".

'You don't refuse the President. When I received such a proposal [to take on the role of Andrzej Duda's election campaign spokesperson], I called my wife, asked for her consent, because it's understood I won't be home often. My wife immediately said I should agree' - Adam Bielan stated in a conversation with Dorota Gawryluk on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń".

We all realize the importance of these elections, not just for our political camp, but for Poland. The last thing Poland needs is another 3.5 years of a presidential-government war. We see, we've had a taste of what happened when the opposition took over the Senate. The Senate doesn't have the same powers as the president in Poland; it cannot veto laws, but opposition politicians have already tried, for example, to block the parliament's adoption of the 13th pension, which 10 million pensioners were waiting for - stated Adam Bielan in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń".

- I know nothing about MP Lichocka being a spokesperson. I can say that I received this offer [to become the spokesperson for Andrzej Duda's election staff] a few weeks ago. I am glad that for so long, neither I nor several other people, such as Ms. Turczynowicz-Kieryłło, have had these proposals leak to the media – stated Adam Bielan in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń".

When I started reading this NIK-CBA information, it brought to mind some historical words, 'So it's war.' Before, there were some minor jabs, the heads of NIK and CBA, various kinds of inspections. If the prosecutor's office and CBA are already taking the actions they are taking, then we know that on the line between the ruling camp and the head of NIK, there is no possibility of any compromise – said Krzysztof Łapiński in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on the program 'Wydarzenia i Opinie' on Polsat News.

- It must be clearly stated that under our government, there are no sacred cows. Marian Banaś, after all, belonged to our political camp. Agent Tomek was a PiS MP, and before that, one of the former PiS senators was detained. So it's not as if these actions are aimed only at politicians from another political option; very often, services subordinate to Minister Kamiński were tracking irregularities within our political camp - stated Adam Bielan in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń".

- This is the first time in a long time that the opposition has managed to exploit the situation quite well. On one hand, this [subscription fee] bill, on the other, the gesture of MP [Lichocka], and also throwing in the issue of oncology. These are things that are easy to explain to someone in 30 seconds, easy to make a short spot or graphic out of - said Krzysztof Łapiński in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on the program "Wydarzenia i Opinie" (Events and Opinions) on Polsat News.

“Today, the President has his advisors and his staff, so I will not offer any advice. However, I can say what I expect. I do not expect a veto here,” said Krzysztof Łapiński in a conversation with Bogdan Rymanowski on the “Wydarzenia i Opinie” program on Polsat News.

- It will be a campaign full of energy, full of activity. The President will continue to meet with Poles. It will be a campaign full of sunshine, which we also lack today in public life. Full of kindness. But also a campaign that strongly emphasizes values, that strongly emphasizes family, a campaign where not only freedom of speech counts, but also responsibility for one's words - said Jolanta Turczynowicz-Kieryłło in an interview with Edyta Lewandowska on TVP Info's "Gość Wiadomości" program.

- I am, of course, non-partisan, this has been emphasized many times today in various media, but undoubtedly the values championed by the United Right parties are values close to my heart. However, centrist values are also important. My political interests are broad in this regard as well - said Jolanta Turczynowicz-Kieryłło in an interview with Edyta Lewandowska on the TVP Info program "Gość Wiadomości".

I was raised in the Human Rights department. A UNESCO department. Human and civil rights, civil liberties are very dear to me. I think they are also dear to the President, and we will take care of them together, including in this campaign. But every right also entails a duty. I can't imagine only exercising a right. If someone expects something, they should also give something in return. When we talk about exercising freedom of speech, we must also consider many other aspects it brings with it. Arbitrary exercise of freedom of speech can lead to threats, even to threats to interests that are important from the perspective of the state - said Jolanta Turczynowicz-Kieryłło in an interview with Edyta Lewandowska on the program "Gość Wiadomości" TVP Info.

- The entire right-wing environment was open to conversation, to dialogue. I myself participated in the preparation of amendments, which is why I can responsibly say that criticizing the president in this matter, when the opposition laid down its arms in the Senate, when it resigned from the possibility of parliamentary work, work that in every democratic country leads to laws being polished, improved, certain changes being introduced, and often a compromise being sought, that is what democratic work in the upper house entails. Well, that wasn't the case here – Jolanta Turczynowicz-Kieryłło said in a conversation with Edyta Lewandowska on the program "Gość Wiadomości" on TVP Info. 

– Weak authorities resort to forceful solutions. The internal war within PiS is destroying Poland. This must be stopped before it's too late and hatred poisons our lives – Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska wrote on Twitter today. „It's clear there are no sacred cows in our camp. As President Kaczyński said, we must judge those more harshly, more severely. Let's not talk about this thinly veiled provocation by the opposition. The PiS government has realistically secured an additional 2 billion annually for oncology and a 27 billion increase in healthcare spending,” said Marcin Horała of Law and Justice in a conversation with Grzegorz Kajdanowicz on „Fakty po Faktach” on TVN24.
