Celebrations marking the centenary of Poland's marriage to the Baltic Sea will take place today in Pomerania. The main observances are planned for Puck. President Andrzej Duda and KO candidate Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska will participate in most of the events.

- These tens of thousands of people who demonstrated in support of judicial reform are, in fact, a drop in the ocean of all those who see the need to reform the justice system. Recent surveys indicate that Poles unequivocally want the justice system to be reformed in Poland - said Michał Dworczyk in an interview with Karolina Gójska on Polskie Radio Program 1's "Sygnały Dnia".

- There are European politicians and officials, fortunately not a very large group, but there are individuals who are trying to expand the competencies of certain EU bodies beyond the frameworks currently defined by the treaties. We will consistently defend the sovereignty and the right of the Polish state to organize life in all those areas not described by the treaties – said Michał Dworczyk in an interview with Karolina Gójska on "Sygnały Dnia" on Radio Jedynka.

- For any law to be passed, to be adopted by parliament, sources of funding must be indicated. What happened in the Senate? Amendments were introduced with votes from Civic Platform and its allies, which create a certain legal problem, but I would like to reassure everyone, because the Sejm will reject these amendments. United Right has a stable majority in the Sejm - said Michał Dworczyk in an interview with Karolina Gójska on "Sygnały Dnia" on Polish Radio Channel One.

– It is not true [that Zbigniew Ziobro wanted to steal President Duda’s thunder on the first Saturday after the presidential election date was announced]. The date [of the convention] was chosen in such a way as to correlate with current events, and current events are that we have a hysterically overwrought opposition and some judges, part of the judicial rebellion collaborating with the opposition. We also have interest from EU institutions, and the convention fits into these two trends, because we hear that the government has committed to sending its response to the accusations raised by Europe by February 13th. Meanwhile, this convention was aimed at those who support us, at Poles who wanted to participate in it from all over Poland and hear why we are reforming the justice system, which has been achieved, because it is very important in the Ministry of Justice – stated Michał Woś in an interview with Beata Michniewicz on „Trójka’s Political Salon”.

First and foremost, this requires, and we also emphasized this at the convention, common political agreements within the coalition we co-create in the government. There have been preliminary talks. However, in the Polish judiciary, we are dealing with a kind of, rarely encountered in other European countries or worldwide, model where our judicial system is based not on two instances, but on a four-tier structure. We have district courts, regional courts, appellate courts, and the Supreme Court. And it happens that in one district court, somewhere in Poland, a judge has a few cases, while, for example, a Warsaw-based judge, receiving exactly the same salary and arriving at work at the same hours, has dozens, if not hundreds, of cases on their docket. And the flattening of structures serves this purpose, to ensure that judges are fairly burdened with work – stated Michał Woś in an interview with Beata Michniewicz on "Trójka's Political Salon."

- Exactly. Allegedly. Allegedly there is such a project. Let's comment on matters when they actually happen, because I could just as easily say today that there is a risk of a fine of, I don't know, 50 million euros per day, and it would have the same basis as what you have presented here. We will comment on matters related to the ECJ after official documents. To my knowledge, no direct document is being prepared, but discussions among various Brussels officials are, of course, ongoing, they are always ongoing, and it's a shame that Poles are there, in Brussels, instead of cooperating with the Polish government, they are doing everything to throw a spanner in the works, even in the case of judicial reform, when our National Council of the Judiciary (KRS) is in no way inconsistent with the Constitution and, what's more, it's a very good model. Let them look at the politicized model in Germany - stated Michał Woś in an interview with Beata Michniewicz on "Trójka's Political Salon".

- I think it's based on the principle that there's no other idea [the Civic Platform's narrative about Polexit]. They keep returning to what the Civic Platform politicians have already played out and are familiar with. This is the third campaign in which the 'Polexit' slogan has been present, and all indications are that it will be strongly present in this campaign. They simply have no other idea what could surprise Poles in this campaign, or convince them to their side, or convince them that PiS in power in Poland is something bad. Hence the 'Polexit' slogan. I am very glad that Poles are not falling for this slogan – stated Jacek Sasin in an interview with Michał Rachoń on the TVP Info program "Jedziemy".

The majority in the Senate, meaning the opposition majority, primarily Civic Platform (PO) and Marshal Grodzki, operate on the principle of "the worse, the better." The worse it gets for Poles, the less they have in their wallets, the more dissatisfied they are, the better it is for those gentlemen who have gained a majority in the Senate. That's how they operate, they want to effectively torpedo the introduction of the 13th pension, because they see it as an element of political gamesmanship, not as support for pensioners, who are currently the worst-off group in Poland - stated Jacek Sasin in an interview with Michał Rachoń on the TVP Info program "Jedziemy".

"Today, this is not a legal dispute. It is an attack on the courts. And who attacks the courts? Typically, those who might end up before these courts, i.e., thieves. We have a lot of unresolved scandals in Poland. First, it was the takeover of the prosecution service, now it's time for the courts. Currently, the only caste of irresponsible people is PiS" - said Cezary Tomczyk from Civic Coalition in an interview with Łukasz Rogojsz on Gazeta.pl.

„Everyone can recall the statements of Gomulka or Gierek when he said that our Polish matters, no one will, Jerzy Urban, who vividly spoke about foreign powers. We know this language from history. We did not want to experience it again. We are dealing with a reactivation of evil forces” – said Cezary Tomczyk from Civic Coalition in an interview with Łukasz Rogojsz for Gazeta.pl.

“I respect Mr. Śmiszek. Speculating whether he will be the First Lady is unnecessary for me. Leftist circles sometimes… Making any statement could offend a sense of how someone should be addressed. I don't find anything in MP Kempa's behavior that would suggest she doesn't respect Mr. Śmiszek as a person” – said Sebastian Kaleta from PiS in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus.

“If this were to happen, if we were to give up the Disciplinary Chamber under threat of fines, sanctions, and the entry of fraternal troops, we would lose part of our sovereignty, contrary to the commitments we have undertaken, because powers concerning the organization of the judiciary were not transferred” – said Sebastian Kaleta from PiS in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus.

Replacements of presidents, directors, constantly appearing chaotic legislative inserts, an endless number of laws concerning the Supreme Court, the Constitutional Tribunal. Were there any regulations and solutions that streamlined court proceedings? There were none for 5 years. What are the effects? All Poles are waiting for court rulings in the first and second instances. These are not opposition speculations, but hard data. With each year of PiS rule, the waiting period for court judgments is extending” - Arkadiusz Myrcha from Civic Coalition said at a press conference in the Sejm.

In a moment, we will submit all the documents necessary to register the electoral committee of the presidential candidate Szymon Hołownia, that is, myself. Poles probably expect natural meetings, not ones that are directed, and that's exactly what Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska's meetings are like, stated Marcin Kierwiński in an interview with Karolina Lewicka on TOK FM.

- This isn't a question of whether Poland can afford [to pay fines for failing to comply with a potential ECJ ruling]. It's a question of whether we have to incur such expenses. If they are to pay, let them pay from their own pockets. Prime Minister Cameron, when he began his adventure, if one can say so, with the referendum on Great Britain's withdrawal from the EU, it also seemed completely unrealistic. Today, a few years have passed, and where is Great Britain? It has just left the EU. And it's exactly the same in Poland. Polexit is entirely realistic, especially when the government is run by a party that, on a daily mental level, is leading Poland outside the standards of a democratic rule of law. Today it seems like a theory, but in a few months or years it will be a sad reality that Poland will be on the absolute margin of the EU - the Civic Platform politician continued.

- Gdynia is fortunate to have exceptional people, creative, bold individuals, and currently a good steward. This city is developing wonderfully and uniquely because the representatives of Pomerania, the Kashubians, remain true to their faith and values. That is why today, on this 100th anniversary of the Wedding of Poland to the Sea, we will lay flowers here, so that we remember that Poland will be as we create it, as we are. – The Senate does not decide on this. This is about creating the budget, but indeed we would not want this money [for the 13th pension] to be taken from the Solidarity Fund. We all support Polish retirees receiving more money, for higher pensions, for wise solutions, but this cannot be done at the expense of the weakest people – stated Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska at a briefing in Gdynia.

„I would like all the programs launched in recent years, the major plans to expand our ports, to be fully realized, so that railway networks and the necessary communication develop, enabling us to be a country with great economic and transport potential internationally, within the Three Seas initiative, so that we become a trading hub, a place where ships from all over the world pass through” - said President Andrzej Duda during a meeting with the residents of Wejherowo.

„I hear that there were attempts in the Senate now to thwart the project of paying the 13th pension, to make the payment of this 13th pension impossible. I assure you that I will do everything possible for this 13th pension to be paid, because it is very important, as it is an element of Poland's modernization program” - he added.

- Perhaps before the elections we [Porozumienie] will organize a convention, but it will have only one goal – the strongest possible support for the candidacy of Mr. President Andrzej Duda  – said Jarosław Gowin in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on the program “Gość Wydarzeń” on Polsat News.

- In certain matters, one cannot yield. For example, it is impossible to allow some judges to question the legality of the election of other judges, or for judges to be beyond any disciplinary assessment. But there are also matters where dialogue is possible. Moreover, I believe this dialogue will be necessary. It is also needed to avoid situations that threaten citizens' legal certainty - said Jarosław Gowin in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on the program "Gość Wydarzeń" (Guest of the Events) on Polsat News.

- I have no doubt there's a segment of voters, as polls show, United Right voters, who feel fatigued by excessive disputes. Primarily the escalation of this dispute around the judiciary.
