Let's Avoid Another Scandalous Spectacle Like with Krzysztof Kwiatkowski, the Previous Head of NIK. He Remained in Office for Over Two Years While Facing Prosecution Charges
- We maintain our desire for this issue surrounding the head of NIK to conclude in the most anticipated way, that is, through Marian Banaś's resignation. I appeal for him to make a responsible decision. I am aware of the difficult situation President Banaś finds himself in. He disagrees with the charges and would like them to be clarified by the prosecutor's actions. I believe and wish for the head of NIK to clear himself of the charges, but at this moment, for the good of the institution and the good of Poland, he should resign so that we do not have this scandalous spectacle again, as we did with Krzysztof Kwiatkowski, the previous head of NIK. He remained in office for over two years while facing prosecution charges – said Jacek Sasin on Trójka.
