Political Agenda for Tuesday: Government on OFE to IKE Transfers, President-Elect of the European Council's Visit, Presidential Couple at Food Bank Gala, Jaki on Trzaskowski's Funding Cuts for Paluch Shelter

The government session will commence at 10:00 AM. Ministers will address a bill that will transfer funds from the Open Pension Funds (OFE) to Individual Retirement Accounts (IKE), as well as, among other things, an amendment to the retail sales tax act (concerning the extension of its suspension).

The president-elect of the European Council is scheduled to visit Warsaw today. Charles Michel will meet with Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at 2:00 PM. A press conference will follow at 3:15 PM. Michel will assume his position from Donald Tusk on December 1st and is currently visiting European capitals.

At noon, the Presidential Couple will participate in the Food Bank Gala, inaugurating the 23rd Christmas Food Collection.

At 11:30 AM, Deputy Marshal of the Sejm Piotr Zgorzelski from PSL-Koalicja Polska and Mazovian Marshal Adam Struzik have announced a press conference regarding the Constitutional Tribunal's ruling on hospital debt.

Patryk Jaki will comment on the planned reduction of funding for the Paluch animal shelter by the Mayor of Warsaw. He announced this on Facebook: "Trzaskowski, who posed with dogs during the campaign, is cutting 1.5 million PLN for an animal shelter! There was money for pallets, diversity trams, LGBT+, and now the already severely underfunded shelter 'na Paluchu' is facing closure. My strong statement on this matter to the City Council."

Błaszczak on F-35: Details of the negotiated agreement will be presented early next year

- I believe that early next year we will present the details of the negotiated agreement with the United States. For now, we are at the discussion stage - said Mariusz Błaszczak in an interview with Piotr Gocek on "Sygnały dnia" on Polskie Radio Program I.

07:36

Błaszczak:

The Armaments Agency Will Definitely Be Established; It's One of My Goals for a Second Term

- The Armaments Agency will definitely be established; it's one of my goals for a second term as Minister of National Defence. We are still discussing its exact form. We will present the details, of course, but the Armaments Agency will certainly be established to accelerate the process of equipping the Polish Army with materiel - said Mariusz Błaszczak in an interview with Piotr Goćka on Jedynka Polish Radio's "Sygnały dnia".

Błaszczak on Warsaw Battle Monument Construction: Warsaw Authorities Neglected Many Things. Apparently, for Trzaskowski, Gender is More Important
It is a matter of national importance, not a local, self-government matter. Warsaw authorities have neglected many things. Apparently, for President Trzaskowski, gender and matters that are very controversial are more important than matters that form the basis of our identity – said Mariusz Błaszczak in an interview with Piotr Gociek on "Sygnały dnia" (Signals of the Day) on Polish Radio 1.

Emilewicz on PiS's Withdrawal from the 30-Fold Contribution Cap Project: Porozumienie Had a Clear Stance. We Are a Good Coalition. Our Coalition Partner Agreed to Our Arguments.

- There were no quarrels. Porozumienie [regarding the abolition of the 30-fold cap on ZUS contributions] had a clear stance, consistently presented for many months, and the larger coalition partner decided to agree to our arguments - stated Jadwiga Emilewicz in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

- This is just proof that we are truly democratic groups that hold discussions with each other, convince one another, and we convinced PiS and Solidarna Polska that it is not worth introducing this solution at this time of the year, that it will not bring the budgetary effect that was assumed, and that introducing solutions at the turn of November and December that have no bearing on companies' financial plans is not the best solution. We convinced them [PiS], it's a good coalition. We are truly a good coalition - she continued.

08:08

Emilewicz:

We won't be tearing each other's throats out. This is a truly well-functioning coalition
We won't be tearing each other's throats out. This is a truly well-functioning coalition, which we have been convincing people of for the last 4 years. We truly have a concrete modernization plan for Poland and we want to implement it within this political arrangement. PiS as the largest party, which invited us to this table, then Solidarna Polska, and us, Porozumienie. We truly know what we want to do - stated Jadwiga Emilewicz in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

08:11

Emilewicz on PiS Constitutional Tribunal Candidates: "I Voted for Candidates Nominated by Our Coalition Partner Because Coalition Requires Loyalty"

- I voted for the candidates nominated by our coalition partner because coalition requires loyalty. And as part of this loyalty, we supported the candidates nominated by PiS. I will not discuss or comment further on this event. We have it behind us - stated Jadwiga Emilewicz in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

08:16

Sasin on Zieliński: I Believe the Assessment in This Case Will Be Positive

- One can always judge everyone differently. I think that the assessment in this case, in the end, will be positive. However, there have been many positive changes in the police. Modernization of the uniformed services - said Jacek Sasin in an interview with Beata Lubecka on the "Gość Radia ZET" program.

08:19

Sasin on 13th Pension Payout: Prime Minister Likely Spoke of April, May Next Year

- As far as I recall, the Prime Minister likely spoke of April, May of next year. This year, as I remember, these pensions were paid out in May. We want to adhere to this spring timeframe - said Jacek Sasin in an interview with Beata Lubecka on the program "Gość Radia ZE"

08:41

Müller:

Coalition agreement is virtually negotiated. The matter is now its drafting and presentation for signing.

Indeed, the coalition agreement is virtually negotiated. The matter now is its drafting and presentation for signing. The understandings that have already been reached are of a gentleman’s agreement nature. Therefore, they are being implemented. The appointments of individual deputy ministers are slowly being realized. Let us remember that this is a natural process, which sometimes takes a month, sometimes more, from the appointment of a new Council of Ministers. Within two to three weeks, all new deputy ministers should be appointed” – said government spokesperson, Minister Piotr Müller, on Radio Jedynka.

08:43

Müller Asked About Minister of Sport: Decisions Regarding the Person Could Be Made This Week

"In this time [two to three weeks], the minister of sport will also be known. Decisions regarding the person herself could be made this week. I know they are being finalized. Such conversations took place yesterday, for instance. It is a very probable variant [that the minister of sport will be a woman]" - said government spokesperson Minister Piotr Müller on Jedynka radio.

09:05

Spychalski:

The Sejm Elects Constitutional Tribunal Judges. The President's Role is Solely to Swear Them In

- Please remember how the situation stands. The Sejm elects the judges of the Constitutional Tribunal. The president's role consists solely of receiving the oath from legally and correctly elected judges. If these judges were elected legally and correctly, then the president, in accordance with the Constitution, is obligated to receive the oath from such candidates. It is the exclusive decision of the Sejm as to who will be a judge of the Constitutional Tribunal. This is how it was, is, and will likely continue to be for many years to come - stated Błażej Spychalski in an interview with Piotr Gociek on PR1's "Sygnały dnia".

09:21

Napieralski on Presidential Elections: Whoever Mobilizes Those Most Active 2-3% Will Win. Everyone Will Play the Wings, Because These Wings Can Bring Victory
I think it will add. Please remember that the issue of partnership unions is very important, because it concerns not only homosexual couples, but also men and women who do not want to enter into marriage. This problem is unregulated in Poland. Young people are waiting for this matter to be regulated, because it is a big problem for them: visiting in hospital, joint tax settlements, etc. Therefore, I think that this electorate, which is very mobile today, these very active people, will be reached very much and it can bring voters. And it also builds one of many axes of dispute and public debate in the presidential campaign - stated Grzegorz Napieralski in an interview with Michał Rachoń on the TVP Info program "Jedziemy", when asked if President Jaśkowiak's statements on homosexual marriages would add support to Civic Platform (PO). When pressed whether the dispute over homosexual marriage would add support to PO, whether the dispute would be beneficial for PO, he replied: - I think so. This will be the first election where the difference between the opposition candidate and Andrzej Duda will be 2-3% in the end. Whoever mobilizes those most active 2-3% will win the election. Everyone will play the wings, because these wings can bring victory.

09:30

Jaśkowiak:

I Haven't Noticed Any Accusation Against the Prime Minister for Not Running the State During an Election Campaign

"I haven't noticed any accusation against Prime Minister Morawiecki that he's not running the state [during an election campaign], which is a larger organism [than Poznań]. We know that the president of the country has many duties. It's clear to me that the president is primarily dedicating himself to the campaign" - said the Mayor of Poznań, Jacek Jaśkowiak, in an interview with Piotr Witwicki on Polsat News.

09:35

Jaśkowiak:

In the Long Run, on a 4-5 or 8-Year Horizon, the Same Changes Await Us as in Ireland, Spain, and Western European Countries

I think there are many more important topics right now [than same-sex marriage] that are key for Poland - international security. In this parliamentary term, this is a purely hypothetical topic, but I have no doubt that in the longer term, on a 4-5 or 8-year horizon, the same changes await us as in Ireland, Spain, and the countries of Western Europe. I assume that Poland's place on the international stage is with Western Europe” – said the Mayor of Poznań, Jacek Jaśkowiak, in an interview with Piotr Witwicki on Polsat News.

09:36

Napieralski:

Biedroń Loses to Zandberg by One Thing – Location

- Biedroń loses to Zandberg by one thing: he is in Brussels, and Zandberg is in Warsaw, so Biedroń has more opportunities to promote himself – stated Grzegorz Napieralski in a conversation with Michał Rachoń on the TVP Info program "Jedziemy," when asked about the Left candidate for president.

09:36

Jaśkowiak on Euthanasia: I Always Believe Everyone Should Have the Right to Choose

These are difficult topics [euthanasia] that require discussion and social consensus. To introduce such solutions, one needs a majority in parliament. I am not retracting my declaration. I always believe that everyone should have the right to choose. I would like to decide for myself, rather than have others decide for me” - said the Mayor of Poznań, Jacek Jaśkowiak, in an interview with Piotr Witwicki on Polsat News.

09:44

Zgorzelski on Family Committee Leadership: "If the Left Nominated Such a Candidate, It Should Be Respected." Biejat's Views Did Not Influence the Legislative Process

"Since this committee fell to the Left, this space should be left for the Left. If the Left nominated such a candidate, it should be respected. We either respect democratic rules, or we make them up. In the public sphere, nor during the committee's work, did her [Magdalena Biejat's] views influence the legislative process" - said Deputy Speaker of the Sejm Piotr Zgorzelski from PSL-Koalicja Polska in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus.

09:45

Zgorzelski:

Latest information indicated that if nothing extraordinary occurred, the next Sejm session was planned for mid-December

Today I will ask for a meeting with Marshal Witek. The latest information indicated that if nothing extraordinary occurred, the next Sejm session was planned for mid-December. More after the presidium” - said Sejm Deputy Marshal Piotr Zgorzelski of PSL-Polish Coalition in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus.

11:13

Grodzki:

We want to ask Banaś about several details. Mainly about a certain lack of knowledge during the elections, because I have the impression it could have influenced the final voting results.

- Tomorrow, a session of the Committee on Local Government and State Administration will take place, which, after carefully obtaining three legal opinions, has been designated as the competent committee. As far as I know, the Sejm has also made some moves regarding the invitation of Marian Banaś. Due to what I have already mentioned, that we in the Senate are subject to the election process for the head of NIK, we simply want to ask him about a few details. Mainly about a certain lack of knowledge during the elections, because I have the impression it could have influenced the final voting results. I want to assure you simultaneously that in the Senate, we will strive to promote a high political culture, so the discussion may perhaps be sharp, but certainly substantive, and as a high state official, I hope we will welcome Marian Banaś - stated Tomasz Grodzki in a conversation with journalists in the Senate.

- The invitation will not be sent the very next day, of course [it will be sent]. The Code of Administrative Procedure imposes an obligation of about two weeks on us. I think it will state a maximum of two weeks or at a date convenient for the President - the Marshal of the Senate continued.

11:17

Grodzki on NIK Vice-President Candidates: "If I Were in Banas's Place, I'd Hold Off on These Nominations"

- Frankly speaking, if I were in Marian Banas’s place, I would hold off on these nominations [for NIK vice-presidents]. That is my opinion on the matter – stated Tomasz Grodzki in a conversation with journalists in the Senate.

11:21

Grodzki:

I have never, under any circumstances, demanded money from anyone for performing any operation
- I would like to publicly announce that I have never, under any circumstances, demanded money from anyone for performing any operation. I want this to be clearly understood, because what a person holds dear is their reputation, and what they are accountable for is their conscience - stated Tomasz Grodzki in a conversation with journalists in the Senate.

Civic Coalition on Court Resolutions Regarding Judicial Candidate Vetting: A Step Protecting Citizens from Legal Chaos

We unequivocally assess these actions [court resolutions] as a manifestation of respect for the law. These are also very important decisions that align with the ECJ's ruling. Of course, we now need to await the Supreme Court's ruling. It will be the first step towards rebuilding the independence of the judiciary, but the resolutions of individual courts are a step that protects citizens from the legal chaos that could be caused by further appointments or promotions of judges by a politicized National Judicial Council” - said Kamila Gasiuk-Pihowicz from the Civic Coalition at a press conference in the Sejm.

The resolutions adopted by individual appellate courts express concern for the well-being of citizens and the observance of the constitution in the Republic of Poland. Those judges who have the courage to say, 'we are halting proceedings,' have the courage to care for the well-being of citizens. They are going against the line of the ruling party, they are not afraid of Minister Ziobro, because they believe that the good of the Republic is more important than their personal interests” - added Robert Kropiwnicki from the Civic Coalition.

12:50

Gasiuk-Pihowicz on Revoking Delegation for Olsztyn Judge: "This is nothing but political revenge against an independent court for issuing a ruling that doesn't align with the ruling party's expectations."
"In recent days, Zbigniew Ziobro revoked the delegation of a judge who demanded the disclosure of support lists for the National Council of the Judiciary. This is nothing but political revenge against an independent court for issuing a ruling that doesn't align with the ruling party's expectations. That's how I perceive Minister Ziobro's actions. This action also confirms the ECHR's concerns that judges in Poland might be subjected to political pressure under PiS laws," said Kamila Gasiuk-Pihowicz from Civic Coalition at a press conference in the Sejm.

13:23

Rosati:

Alongside the Smoleńsk Lie and the Lie of Poland in Ruins, the Pension Lie is the Government's Biggest Deception

For 3 years we have been saying that the lowering of the retirement age by PiS, carried out irresponsibly and deceitfully, without informing Poles about the effects and consequences of these decisions, would result in starvation pensions for millions of retirees in the future. ZUS [Social Insurance Institution] has also been reporting this for several years, publishing relevant reports. According to these reports, pensions in the future will be at a dramatically low level. A woman who works for 35 years, retires at 60, and earns the median wage in Poland throughout her working life will receive a pension of around 1250 PLN, which is not much more than the minimum pension. The consequences of this situation, brought about by the PiS government, are as follows. We are creating colossal areas of poverty in the form of 3-4 million pensioners who will receive benefits at or below the minimum level. A huge deficit is emerging in the Pension Fund. ZUS estimates the financial shortfall for the next 4 years at 50 billion PLN. Alongside the Smoleńsk lie and the lie of Poland in ruins, the pension lie is the biggest lie that this government is perpetrating” – stated Dariusz Rosati from Civic Coalition at a press conference in the Sejm.

I Invite Representatives of the 'Na Paluchu' Animal Shelter for a Meeting - We Want to Extend a Helping Hand to Those Who Dedicate Their Lives to Helping Homeless Animals

Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki announced on Twitter that he is inviting representatives from the "Na Paluchu" animal shelter in Warsaw for a meeting.

"I invite representatives of the "Na Paluchu" animal shelter for a meeting. We want to extend a helping hand to those who dedicate their lives to helping homeless animals," wrote the head of government on Twitter.

The tweet also included a link to the shelter's website.

The "Na Paluchu" animal shelter is one of the largest shelters in Poland, caring for thousands of abandoned and homeless animals each year. The shelter relies heavily on donations and the work of volunteers to provide care and find new homes for the animals.

The Prime Minister's invitation comes at a time when animal welfare organizations are facing increasing challenges, including limited funding and growing numbers of stray animals. The meeting is expected to address potential government support for the shelter and other animal welfare initiatives.

Trzaskowski Breaks Promises, Plans to Cut Shelter Budget by PLN 1.5 Million. Jaki Appeals to Warsaw Council to 'Save Na Paluchu Animal Shelter from Mayor Trzaskowski'
- Madam Chairwoman, Esteemed Council, Mayor Rafał Trzaskowski has presented the draft budget of the Capital City of Warsaw for 2020, which cuts nearly PLN 1.5 million from the 'Na Paluchu' shelter for homeless animals. The director of this facility stated at the committee meeting that this decision will 'cripple the shelter'. I believe we have a particular obligation to care for animals, for the vulnerable. How we treat animals is often a reflection of our humanity - wrote Patryk Jaki in an appeal to the Warsaw City Council, published on social media. - I remind you that the 'Na Paluchu' Shelter for Homeless Animals, as a budgetary unit of the Capital City of Warsaw, is the main implementer of the Warsaw Program for Counteracting Animal Homelessness. The budget in 2019 was almost PLN 10 million and was already insufficient given the scope of activities undertaken. Let us recall that a few months ago, the facility itself sounded the alarm about the catastrophic situation regarding the overcrowding of the kitten hospital: 'The kitten hospital is bursting at the seams with sick kittens. These animals, with pus-filled eyes, seeking warmth from plush toys. This year is tragic. How many of these kittens will survive? Will there be enough homes willing to adopt them? In shelter conditions, they have slim chances.' Furthermore, the facility requires additional funding for the general and infectious disease hospital, which, according to experts, should be located in a completely different area due to the risk of spreading infectious diseases. Financial resources are also needed for the renovation of kennels, which were modernized over 15 years ago. Therefore, reducing the shelter's budget by PLN 1.5 million (and I will remind you that animals from several suburban municipalities also end up at the facility) will cause a tragedy. In light of the above, I appeal to you, council members, for an urgent amendment to the budget and Mayor Trzaskowski's decision, and to save the animals. This is beyond political colors; it is our shared commitment - emphasized the PiS MEP. https://twitter.com/PatrykJaki/status/1199305125350772736

Budka on the dismissal of the investigation into hanging MEPs' photos on gallows: This clearly shows that PiS absolutely does not want to fight aggression and violence in public space
The [prosecutor's] decision is outrageous in many aspects. First and foremost – the length of the proceedings. Over 2 years of proceedings, in which, in reality, everything was known from the beginning, in which the perpetrators were identified within a week. Procedural actions could have been taken, yet the prosecution was not in a hurry in this matter. This decision is also outrageous because it was made after the elections. This clearly shows that PiS absolutely does not want to fight aggression and violence in public space. PiS does not learn from the past, it cannot distance itself from such extreme attitudes and condemn them decisively. The prosecution has been under the complete supervision of a politician from the United Right camp – Zbigniew Ziobro – for nearly 4 years. He bears political responsibility for such outrageous decisions by the prosecution. There is no consent for violence or aggression in public space, also expressed by word, gesture, or deed. The victims will appeal the prosecutor's decision. We will demand that charges be brought in this case” – said the leader of the Civic Coalition club, Borys Budka, at a press conference in the Sejm.

Pomaska on Dropping Investigation into Hanging Photos of MEPs on Gallowses: The Polish State Not Only Fails to Side with the Victims, but Actively Sides with Criminals

It begins with words and ends with deeds. We have had proof of this many times. At the beginning of this year, when political death warrants were issued for local government officials, the prosecutor's office did nothing. No decision was made, and two weeks later, the President of Gdańsk was murdered. The prosecutor's office and PiS politicians are not drawing conclusions because they do not want to draw conclusions. This is further proof that the Polish state, which should stand with the weaker, with the victims, not only fails to do so, but actively sides with criminals, with those who perpetrate these kinds of scandalous acts and events, and does not stand with those who are the victims in the matter” – Agnieszka Pomaska from Civic Coalition said at a press conference in the Sejm.

Prime Minister Meets with President-Elect of the European Council at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister

The Prime Minister of Poland, Mateusz Morawiecki, held a meeting at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister (KPRM) with the President-Elect of the European Council, Charles Michel.

The meeting, announced via a tweet from the official Twitter account of the Prime Minister of Poland (https://twitter.com/PremierRP/status/1199317833978720257), focused on key issues relevant to Poland's role and position within the European Union.

While the specific details of the discussions were not fully elaborated in the announcement, such meetings are typically aimed at exchanging views on current European challenges, future EU policies, and bilateral relations between Poland and the EU institutions. It is expected that the conversation touched upon Poland's priorities and expectations regarding the European agenda under the new leadership of the European Council.

Śmiszek Questions Minister of Interior: Has He Seriously Considered UN Recommendations to Ban Extremist Organizations?

- According to the prosecution, it turns out that these types of behaviours, which are very clear and understandable to the public, bearing the hallmarks of criminal threats or announcements of certain actions that fall outside public debate, are considered a happening by the Katowice prosecutor's office. What is more outrageous and can indeed be described as laughing in citizens' faces is the reliance by the District Prosecutor's Office in Katowice on the human rights protection standards developed by the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg. The Katowice prosecutor's office claims it used, nothing more and nothing less, the standards of freedom of speech protection developed by the Strasbourg court. One needs a truly great deal of audacity to use such arguments – stated Krzysztof Śmiszek at a briefing in the Sejm.

- From this place today, we are asking the Minister of Interior and Administration: what has been happening over the last 2-3 months, has he seriously considered the UN recommendations, which once again call on the Polish government to delegalize extremist organizations that use such happenings, and are – as it appears – protected by the Polish prosecution – he continued.

Halicki on Dropping the Investigation into Hanging MEPs' Photos on Gallowses: We Will Not Leave This Matter. We Will File a Complaint with the Prosecutor's Office, but Also an Appeal to the Competent Court

- We will not leave this matter. Encouraging lynching, such things, is truly dangerous, and here in the [European] Parliament, we will provide full legal assistance to appeal this decision - stated Andrzej Halicki at a press conference in the EP.

- At this moment, we will file a complaint with the prosecutor's office, but also an appeal to the competent court. Lawyers are preparing this, and we will also do it with the support of law firms, but the parties involved are present here - said the PO politician.

PM after meeting with President-elect of the European Council: There is nothing better than building trust and a kind of new opening, a new approach in new times, as Michel presented

This is a very good sign that we will strive to acquire as much information as possible to work out a compromise. Very important areas of negotiation, difficult talks, are ahead of us. There is nothing better than building trust and a kind of new opening, a new approach in new times, as Mr. Michel presented. For 1.5 hours, we discussed all the most important matters. Among them, primarily the topics of the future budget for the years 2020-2027. Here, we discussed in detail, for example, the area of potential new own resources for the EU, which Poland fully supports” – said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at a press conference after meeting with the President-elect of the European Council.

Lubnauer:

Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska is a very good presidential candidate

- I have been supporting Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska for so long that it was before it became fashionable. Therefore, it is probably quite obvious that I still consider her a very good presidential candidate - said Katarzyna Lubnauer in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on the program “Wydarzenia i Opinie” (Events and Opinions) on Polsat News.

Lubnauer:

Jaśkowiak Seems to Have Confused the Primaries. I Have the Impression the President Wants to Become Lewica's Candidate

- I have a strange impression that Mayor Jacek Jaśkowiak has perhaps confused the primaries. That is, I know that Lewica is also having problems choosing a presidential candidate, and I increasingly have the impression that the mayor wants to become Lewica's candidate - said Katarzyna Lubnauer in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on the program 'Wydarzenia i Opinie' on Polsat News.

Lubnauer on Prosecutor's Decision Regarding MEPs' Gallows Photos: A Shield for Brown Forces. PiS Fears the Rise of Confederation on the Right

A shield for brown forces. I doubt anyone has any doubts that PiS has made it to the elections. The prosecution is fully political, under Zbigniew Ziobro's control. I see that PiS is afraid of the fact that Confederation has grown on their right flank, that these national sentiments are quite strong – said Katarzyna Lubnauer in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on the program "Wydarzenia i Opinie" (Events and Opinions) on Polsat News.

Petru Launches His Own Company 'Petru Finanse': 'A Common Problem for Polish Entrepreneurs is a Lack of Capital for Further Development'

"As per the declaration made in July this year, I have returned to business. In the post below, I present the range of services we offer to Polish entrepreneurs and individuals. The offer of these services is based on the experience of the team I collaborate with, gained in banking, consulting firms, and real economy" - writes Ryszard Petru on his LinkedIn profile. Ryszard Petru writes on his LinkedIn profile.

"A common problem for Polish entrepreneurs is a lack of capital for further development. Therefore, if a company needs capital for development – we will help find it. Depending on the company's needs, its level of debt, and the scale of its investment plans, financing and its sources must take these factors into account. Sometimes obtaining a bank loan will be optimal, other times issuing bonds, and for many companies, finding a minority or majority investor can be a way to expand." - this is how Petru explains what his new company, Petru Finanse, operating at www.petru.pl, does.

I have been meeting with many companies lately where the issue of succession has become urgent. In Poland, due to 40 years of communism, a model of family succession has not developed. The lack of such solutions in the event of random occurrences can lead to serious complications, not to mention the risk of forced sale of the company. A succession program is a legal, business, and relational challenge. It is essential to understand the needs of individual family members and adapt them to an optimal business model. Therefore, as part of our services, we help choose the optimal succession model, prepare the succession process from both a legal and managerial perspective, and assist in its execution - says Petru.

- If a company is experiencing difficulties, has liquidity problems, requires restructuring, we can help in renegotiating contracts with banks, redesigning financial flows, and finding bridging finance for the crisis period. It often turns out that there is an opportunity to find savings by renegotiating contracts with contractors and financial institutions - he adds.

Fogiel on MEPs' gallows photos: The prosecutor's office stated that from an ethical and moral standpoint, this action is unacceptable

- I believe that aggression in public life is most certainly condemnable, but it's also worth delving into the prosecutor's statement here. The prosecutor's office stated that from an ethical and moral standpoint, this action is unacceptable. The prosecutor handling the case only stated that a crime could not be found - said Radosław Fogiel in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on the program "Wydarzenia i Opinie" (Events and Opinions) on Polsat News.

There will be a debate on December 7th, and an electoral convention on the 14th, where our delegates will choose the person who most convinces them they have a chance to win these elections - stated Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska in a conversation with Dorota Gawryluk on the "Wydarzenia i opinie" program on Polsat News.

Tulajew:

My Mission at the Ministry of Interior and Administration Has Concluded

Maksymilian Tułajew, a prominent figure in Polish politics, has announced the end of his tenure at the Ministry of Interior and Administration (MSWiA). The announcement, made via his official Twitter account, marks a significant shift for the politician and the ministry.

While the exact reasons for Tułajew's departure are not explicitly detailed in the tweet, the statement "Moja misja w MSWiA dobiegła końca" (My mission at the MSWiA has concluded) suggests a sense of accomplishment and completion of his objectives within the department.

Tułajew's time at MSWiA has been marked by various initiatives and policies aimed at enhancing national security, public order, and administrative efficiency. His contributions have often been a subject of public and political discourse, reflecting the dynamic nature of Polish governance.

The conclusion of his mission invites speculation about his future political endeavors and the potential impact on the Ministry of Interior and Administration. As a seasoned politician, Tułajew's next steps are likely to be closely watched by both his supporters and political opponents.

The tweet itself, shared from the handle @Tulajew, serves as the primary source of this announcement, underscoring the increasing reliance on digital platforms for political communication in Poland.

Budka on Prosecutor's Office Decision Regarding MEPs Pictured on Gallowses: If This Were Not Such a Serious Matter, I Would Consider the Prosecutor's Decision a Joke

- If this were not such a serious matter, I would consider the prosecutor's decision a joke. This is yet another example of how the current government tolerates violence in the public sphere. It allows for the use of such hangmen, which actually encourage further steps - said Borys Budka in an interview with Grzegorz Kajdanowicz on TVN24's "Fakty po faktach".

Zandberg on presidential election bid: 'I approach it with modesty and distance. We will discuss our candidate in December'

I approach it with modesty and distance. We will decide on the solution that makes the most sense from the perspective of the left-wing coalition. Please excuse me from answering questions about our candidate for president. We will discuss this in December” - said Adrian Zandberg from Razem in an interview with Monika Olejnik on „Kropka nad i” on TVN24.

Zandberg:

It seems like there are special primaries in the Civic Coalition, because these aren't quite primaries, but rather elections within one of the parties

"It seems like there are special primaries in the Civic Coalition, because these aren't quite primaries, but rather elections within one of the parties belonging to the Civic Coalition, meaning in Civic Platform. It's better to proceed openly and with heads held high," said Adrian Zandberg from Razem in an interview with Monika Olejnik on "Kropka nad i" on TVN24.

20:24

Zandberg:

It's good that Judge Juszczyszyn is trying to dispel doubts regarding the mandate of judges appointed by the KRS. This is in the interest of the Polish legal system.
“The situation we are in is one where, following the CJEU's decision, there is great uncertainty in the Polish legal system. Uncertainty regarding what mandate to issue judgments judges whose mandate stems from the new National Council of the Judiciary (KRS) possess. It is very good that Mr. Judge [Juszczyszyn] is trying to dispel this doubt. This is in the interest of the Polish legal system,” said Adrian Zandberg from Razem in an interview with Monika Olejnik on “Kropka nad i” on TVN24.

Kidawa-Błońska:

I'm Truly Angry and Outraged by What's Happening in Our Country. Poland is a Wonderful Nation, and I Want the President of Poland to be the President of All Poles
I am not afraid and I am truly angry and outraged by what is happening in our country. Poland is a wonderful nation, and I would want the President of Poland to be the president of all Poles, and for Poles to know that none of them will be left alone. There are so many areas where we need this community, this support, and the president should be the person who stands and guarantees that no one will be left alone - stated Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on the program "Wydarzenia i opinie" on Polsat News.

Zandberg on the Tribunal of State for Ziobro: It's not about loud threats, but about not faltering when it's time to vote, as has happened to some. The Left's hand will not falter on this matter.
Our position on this matter is clear. We also spoke about this during the election campaign. One of the elements of restoring order and the rule of law in Poland will also be holding accountable individuals who have engaged in unconstitutional actions. Minister Ziobro is undoubtedly on this list. I don't want to engage in what opposition politicians often do, which is to make loud threats in a television studio. It's not about making loud threats, but about not faltering when it's time to vote, as has happened to some. The Left's hand will not falter on this matter" - said Adrian Zandberg from Razem in an interview with Monika Olejnik on "Kropka nad i" on TVN24.

Woś:

Even in its media justification, the prosecution cites the situation in Germany, where a portrait with Merkel on a gallows also appeared, and there was no prosecutorial reaction then

- The prosecution clearly states that this is something reprehensible, something that should not happen. Even in some media justification, it refers to the situation in Germany, where a portrait of Angela Merkel also hung on a gallows, and at that time there was no reaction from the prosecution. The prosecution refused to proceed because it stated that it was within the bounds of some form of freedom - said Michał Woś in an interview with Grzegorz Kajdanowicz on TVN24's "Fakty po faktach".

20:38

Zandberg:

Lech Kaczyński, whose legacy President Andrzej Duda often invokes, would have served in office more nobly in my opinion. Duda simply hasn't risen to the framework set by our constitution.

Lech Kaczyński, whose legacy President Andrzej Duda often invokes, would have served in office more nobly in my opinion, because the President’s conduct often lacked dignity, a certain stability, and steadfastness in his convictions” – said Adrian Zandberg from Razem in an interview with Monika Olejnik on the show „Kropka nad i” on TVN24.

Andrzej Duda simply hasn't risen to the framework set by our constitution” – he added.

Zandberg:

Perhaps it would be more sensible to look at how the presidency functions in Germany. Perhaps it would be good if the president were elected by a qualified majority in the National Assembly.
“When there is no autonomy, a valid question arises. Why do we elect the president in a popular vote? Perhaps, and this is something worth discussing, it would be more sensible to look at how the presidency functions in Germany. Perhaps it would be good if the president were elected by a qualified majority in the National Assembly, so that they would actually be above party politics” – Adrian Zandberg from Razem said in an interview with Monika Olejnik on TVN24's "Kropka nad i".

Woś:

This is a PO march in 2006. A portrait of Lech Kaczyński on a gallows. That is also scandalous. Kajdanowicz: But wait, wasn't Ziobro the prosecutor general then?
- This is a march by the Civic Platform. I apologize for the quality - Michał Woś said in a conversation with Grzegorz Kajdanowicz on TVN24's "Fakty po faktach". - He should have also filed a report to the prosecutor's office then - stated Kajdanowicz. - And you can see. A portrait of Lech Kaczyński on a gallows. That is also scandalous. Back then, you were responsible for the justice system - Woś addressed Budka. - In 2007 - Budka replied. - No, no, later, but in 2006 - Woś continued. - You're getting a bit carried away - stated Budka. - But wait, wasn't Zbigniew Ziobro the prosecutor general then? Is this an accusation against Ziobro? - the journalist noted. - That's precisely the point, that the prosecutor's office then had the regulations it has now, meaning it assessed the behavior as reprehensible, if it were to assess it, however, the law compels that the threat must be objective, and in this case, an objective threat was not found. However, where there were emails, proceedings are still ongoing - Woś replied.

Kidawa-Błońska to Civic Platform Members: "We Have a Historic Opportunity to Show Decency and Honesty in Politics Are Strength, Not Weakness. Become My Ambassadors."
"I want to step forward in these elections and fight for a victory for all of Poland. I know how to do it" - writes Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska in a letter sent to all members of the Civic Platform. "We are all aware that today Poland is a country divided by a populist line. Fueling an atmosphere of artificial threat deeply hurts our country. The Law and Justice party (PiS) along with its coalition partners openly disregard the rules of social and political life, destroying the best achievements of young Polish democracy. They limit choice and impose their way of life under threat of stigmatization. At the same time, they themselves break the law and principles of honesty. This manifestation of barbaric force, however, is proof of helplessness, because the majority of Polish women and men reject their dark vision of Poland. There are more of us!" - writes the Deputy Marshal of the Sejm, who is seeking the presidential nomination of PO and Civic Coalition (KO). "Let us be ready to wage a decisive and wise battle for the presidency. I am ready. Victory is within our reach. In Warsaw, I defeated Jarosław Kaczyński by a huge margin – the main architect of the disastrous doctrine for Poland, as a result of which for five years the office of the President of the Republic of Poland has been held by a politician representing the interests of solely his own political camp" - writes MMKB. Kidawa appeals to the female and male activists of Civic Platform: "I want to ask you to become my ambassadors in local communities, in contacts with loved ones, with neighbors and friends. So that with new energy, we can together build a broad community, bound by decency, honesty, mutual respect. And love for Poland!"
