The facts are that the chairman of the committee does not have much power, especially when they do not command a majority, and Law and Justice commands such a majority, but in the symbolic sphere and in the sphere of what the committee chairman professes, it is a problematic issue for Law and Justice voters – added the Deputy Spokesman for PiS.

“The matter concerning the vote, the selection of judges during the last Sejm session, has not yet been clarified by Marshal Witek. It has not been clarified by the Chancellery of the Sejm. Therefore, we are obliged to take further steps aimed at clarifying all ambiguities. It appears, after analyzing the materials that the Chancellery of the Sejm itself made available in video form, and based on media reports, that the Sejm Regulations have been violated” – stated PO spokesperson Jan Grabiec at a press conference in the Sejm. “We cannot allow the Sejm – the place where laws are made – to be a place where laws are broken, and by a person who should be guarding the proper functioning of the Sejm. We demand explanations from the Chancellery of the Sejm as to the basis for the arguments made post factum by the Chancellery.
