"Regarding the exposé, it will definitely be next week. We are awaiting the final decision of the Sejm Marshal, but most likely it will be Tuesday," said government spokesperson, Minister Piotr Müller, in an interview with Jedynka radio.

„This project will be processed in the Sejm. We are not backing down from this project. Primarily because Poland has a system that is extremely regressive when it comes to people who earn a lot” - said government spokesperson Minister Piotr Müller on Radio Jedynka.

„I have recently spoken with colleagues from Porozumienie. They indeed have the right to express their opinion. We will see what the final vote looks like. Perhaps we'll convince our colleagues from Porozumienie to vote for this solution. If not, we'll see if another majority emerges in the Sejm to support it” - he added. 

„We are very pleased with this [Netflix's] reaction. We are in the 21st century, and diplomatic relations can be multifaceted. Not only between states, but also large corporations. It's good that the Prime Minister's reaction was so swift and decisive” - said government spokesman, Minister Piotr Müller, on Radio Jedynka.

- This is not the first time a Prime Minister has taken over a ministry, temporarily of course - said Radosław Fogiel in an interview with Robert Mazurek on RMF FM.

- I recall a situation from the Law and Justice governments of 2005-2007, when Mr. Prime Minister Kaczyński was also a minister of something because there was a temporary vacancy. The idea stems from the fact that the first candidate who was considered, whom the Prime Minister mentioned last week, for personal reasons, which I do not know, decided not to take the position - the Deputy Spokesperson for PiS continued.

„For 4 years, we witnessed a propaganda of success promoted by successive PiS prime ministers and the entire political camp. We were shown slides, supposedly indicating excellent prosperity in terms of budget revenues and falling taxes. The recent election campaign for the Sejm was also full of promises to lower taxes, to reduce the tax burden on Poles. Just a few days after the election, the mask fell off. The first bill submitted to the Sejm by the PiS club is a bill that drastically increases ZUS contributions for 370,000 Poles. This bill was submitted to the Sejm despite the declarations made during the election campaign that there would be no ZUS increase after the elections” - said PO spokesperson Jan Grabiec at a press conference in the Sejm.

„The KO parliamentary club is opposed to the PiS parliamentary bill on abolishing the 30-fold limit. The implementation of this project means a sharp increase in the employment costs of top-class specialists, and often those who are becoming scarce in Poland. This system proposed by PiS will fundamentally violate the principles of social justice” - added Dariusz Rosati.

Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki will deliver his address on Tuesday after 10:00 AM. This confirms the information previously reported by 300POLITYKA. As we wrote on 300POLITYCE, Tuesday, November 19th was one of the possible dates, and last week – a near-certain date.

The address is planned to last until 12:00 PM, after which there will be a one-hour break, followed by a debate. The vote of confidence is scheduled for 8:00 PM. Subsequently, the Sejm will consider, in its first readings, draft laws concerning the abolition of the 30-fold cap and the increase of excise duty. Any motions to reject these draft laws will be voted on overnight.

The Sejm will continue its deliberations on Thursday – there will be a break due to the EPP summit on Wednesday. On Thursday, second readings (and almost certainly third readings) of the aforementioned PiS draft laws will take place, along with the selection of Constitutional Tribunal judges and members of the Tribunal of State, as well as MPs who will be members of the National Council of the Judiciary.

President Andrzej Duda has appointed an entirely new Council of Ministers, with Mateusz Morawiecki serving as Prime Minister. 

The composition of the cabinet does not differ from that which the head of government presented a week ago, following agreements within the PiS Political Committee.

However, there is still no Minister of Sport. As the government spokesperson assured, we should learn his name within two weeks.

I always recall it with great emotion and I know what a responsibility it is, but also when something is achieved, truly for the well-being of citizens and the good of the homeland, which is visible, measurable, tangible, and especially when you hear from people: "thank you," the heart swells and one knows that every day, every hour, every minute dedicated to this action was worth it - stated President Andrzej Duda during the ceremony of appointing the new government.

- Much good has been achieved over the previous 4 years. I would like this thanks to also go to all the ministers, to the Prime Minister, to the homes of both the Prime Minister and those ministers who have ended their service, whether earlier or in recent days. Thank you for its conscientious and extraordinary execution. Today, when we meet with our fellow citizens, both you and I, for example yesterday, one can hear many good words about what has been done over the 4 years. This is an enormous credit to the Prime Minister, to the ministers, to all those who held these positions over the last 4 years, who bore this responsibility on their shoulders. It is also a great gratitude towards the members of the current parliamentary majority. I wish that what will be implemented in the next 4 years will be at least as well-executed as what has been done so far - added PAD.

- As I said, many good things have been done. Many Polish families have felt that the state has indeed noticed their presence and started thinking about them. It has noticed their effort, their work. Many people have felt appreciated, noticed. Many important matters have been resolved. Much thievery has been curtailed. Much good has been realized in our homeland. Not everything has succeeded. Not everything has succeeded well either. As I have said before, none of us, neither the Prime Minister, nor the Deputy Prime Ministers, nor the Ministers, nor I, nor the Members of Parliament and Senators, are infallible. Mistakes happen, bad decisions happen. The most important thing is to be able to say: yes, sorry, forgive me, that was a bad decision, we made a mistake, we are changing it, we are correcting it. Sometimes, if necessary, we resign. That is also a matter of responsibility and honor. But I believe that such situations will not affect any of you, that all your actions, both planned and those that arise spontaneously, because that also happens, you will carry out successfully. I also wish you this for this new path of exercising executive power in Poland, a new path of governing in the Republic of Poland by the Council of Ministers, the government - stated President Andrzej Duda during the ceremony of appointing the new government.

- I am always open to cooperation, to all your initiatives, to supporting good initiatives that serve the realization of program assumptions, important program assumptions for Poland, because I am convinced that they will serve both Poland and Polish society. Please know that for you, especially for the Prime Minister, the Deputy Prime Ministers, the Ministers, everyone, the doors of the Presidential Palace are always open. I am ready to discuss even the most difficult topics. Such conversations will likely happen. It is difficult to talk about this situation, as for now, we are discussing a submitted draft that has not yet been processed. When asked if the president is therefore skeptical about abolishing the 30-fold limit, he replied: - It is difficult to speculate about this today, because we do not have a law passed by parliament. However, I emphasize – we hope that this law will not reach the President's desk.

- Three candidacies have been put forward: Mr. Robert Jastrzębski, Ms. Krystyna Pawłowicz, Mr. Stanisław Piotrowicz. All by the PiS Parliamentary Club.
