Paruch on the Ministry of Sport for an Opposition Senator: It's Not Ruled Out
There is no personnel decision [regarding the Ministry of Sport]. These talks will continue. Because there was the departure of a good minister, Witold Bańka, and please remember that the government is a United Right government, and this is a matter of agreement between the smaller coalition partners and Law and Justice. Let's wait a few days, this matter will definitely be clarified - said Waldemar Paruch in an interview with Krzysztof Ziemiec on RMF FM. When asked if this might be a form of tempting someone from the opposition, the head of the Centre for Strategic Analyses replied: - You probably have the Senate in mind. It's not ruled out. It's not ruled out. We are looking for a solution in the Senate everywhere, because we are fully aware… [But bringing a representative of the opposition into the Ministry of Sport?] Mr. Editor, this is a very important ministry in terms of image. It may not have a large budget, because if we compare this ministry's budget with the budget of the Ministry of National Defence, it's a bit like comparing a fly to an elephant. - I think November 19th, as journalists speculated yesterday, would be the earliest possible date. The question is to what extent the Prime Minister is already prepared for this important political speech, because as far as I know, it is supposed to be an expose for 4 years. Not just for one year - said Paruch, when asked about the date of the expose. - Because it's difficult to convene the Sejm to approve the government on Friday. Please remember that it's about club discipline, and 231 MPs are needed who will come and vote - he stressed.

Sejm Chancellery Reverses Most Journalist Restrictions for New Term's Inaugural Session on November 12

- Subject to time-related restrictions, access to the Sejm building will proceed under standard rules, i.e., based on permanent, periodic, and one-time press cards, as well as periodic and one-time technical support cards. On this day, areas around the so-called journalists' table (first floor) and the vicinity of the main entrance to the Sejm (ground floor, between the main entrance and the Column Hall) will be available for the media. Access to the Press Gallery in the Chamber of Deputies for camera operators and photojournalists will be possible only with separate accreditations (individuals who have been granted these have already been informed individually). Access to the gallery for other media representatives will be possible based on available space - the Sejm Information Centre announced in a press release.

The CIS also notes that during the President's movement within the parliament building, additional organizational measures may be introduced. Due to the nature of the event and the very large number of invited guests, access to the Sejm building for media representatives on this day will be possible until 10:30 AM.

The Sejm authorities are thereby retracting most of the previously planned restrictions. According to the original concept, the press gallery was to be completely closed during the inaugural session of the new term's Sejm, with only accredited operators and photojournalists having access (although four years ago, the press gallery was not only open but also enlarged). Furthermore, the journalists' table was to be abolished for that day ("taken out of use"), and room 106 would be made available to journalists. A meeting with media representatives was held yesterday, during which the changes were agreed upon.

Dowhan:

I'm Not Heading to Any Ministry, At Least Not This Term. My Political Views Are Constant, and Such Strong Support for Me in These and Previous Elections is a Sign of Great Trust.
In connection with the emerging information, I assure you that I am not heading to any ministry, at least not in this term. My political views are constant, and such strong support for me in these and previous elections is a sign of great trust for me. And I will not let you down – wrote Robert Dowhan in a statement published on social media, referring to the rumors that have been circulating since Friday evening.
