Wednesday's Political Agenda: President Duda in the Netherlands, Civic Platform Board Meeting, Government-Local Government Commission Session, Supreme Court to Review More Election Protests

The Presidential Couple continues their visit to the Netherlands. At 8:30 AM, the President will meet with the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, at 10:00 AM with the President of the International Criminal Court, at 11:30 AM with the Director-General of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, and at 12:05 PM with the Speaker of the Senate of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Speaker of the House of Representatives.

At 10:00 AM, a session of the Joint Commission of the Government and Territorial Self-Government will take place at the Ministry of Interior and Administration headquarters. Also today, the Chamber of Extraordinary Control and Public Affairs of the Supreme Court is scheduled to review further election protests.

Meanwhile, at 10:30 AM, the board meeting of Civic Platform (PO) is set to begin. The topics for the meeting of the largest opposition party's authorities are expected to include the situation in the Senate, the presidential elections, and organizational matters concerning the parliamentary club.

07:50

Budka on Parliamentary Club Leader Elections: 'I Have 78 Signatures Today. I'm Talking to Everyone. I'm Trying to Discuss the Club's Vision and Primarily to Ensure It's a Candidate by Choice, Not Appointment'

- For now, I am talking to my colleagues. I have around 80, exactly 78 signatures as of today. That's almost half. I am talking to everyone. I am trying to discuss the club's vision and I am primarily trying to ensure it's a candidate by choice, not by appointment - stated Borys Budka in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

- I hope we can build the club in such a way that we can enter strong parliamentary work immediately with such a good team - emphasized the PO politician.

07:54

Budka on Running for Civic Platform Leader: Too Early for Declarations. I Don't Rule Out Any Scenario

We'll see when the elections [for the Civic Platform leader] are held. It's too early for any declarations at the moment. I don't rule out any scenario. Politics has taught me never to say never. If there's a decision about elections, then I will make decisions – stated Borys Budka in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" program.

08:04

Budka on Presidential Primary Concept: 'Perhaps It Will Happen Today at the Board Meeting. It's a Very Good Idea. We Just Need to Consider If Now is the Right Time. I Have Some Doubts'

- Yes, perhaps it will happen today at the board meeting [Grzegorz Schetyna will put forward the concept of presidential primaries] - stated Borys Budka in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego."

- Primaries are a very good idea that has been a guiding principle for Civic Platform from the beginning. We just need to consider if now is the right time. I have some doubts. I would like us to discuss them together at the board meeting - emphasized the PO politician. - These are precisely the doubts that are emerging. The question about Donald Tusk, but also another thing. The question of whether there would be candidates willing to participate. I have doubts about that - Budka continued.

As Konrad Piasecki said, Grzegorz Schetyna might even publicly announce the organization of primaries as early as today.

08:11

Budka:

My Heart Leans Towards the Candidate with a Real Chance of Winning the Presidential Election. Tusk and Kidawa-Błońska Have Similar Chances for Now.

- My heart leans towards the candidate who has a real chance of winning this presidential election. I think both of these candidates [Donald Tusk and Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska] have similar chances for now. Donald Tusk mobilizes our electorate more in the first round, while Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, as she has shown in this campaign, can strongly win over those who either don't want to go to the polls when faced with such a distinct Civic Platform politician, but she can also win over those who vote for someone else in the first round. These are very difficult decisions – stated Borys Budka in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

08:14

Kidawa-Błońska:

I'm Very Curious About What Tusk Will Say on December 2nd

I am very curious about what Donald Tusk will say. He announced that on December 2nd he will talk about his further actions, the steps he will take. This is very important information for me, what he will be doing. We are acting here and now. We are preparing for the elections within the party and the parliamentary club. We are discussing what happened after the elections, how those elections looked. We are preparing for the functioning of our club in the Sejm. If it turns out that Civic Platform (PO) will nominate a candidate for the presidential election and that candidate will be me, then I will be thinking about how to conduct this campaign” - said Deputy Marshal Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska in an interview with Łukasz Konarski on Radio Zet.

08:17

Kidawa-Błońska:

In the previous election, Duda started on November 11th and showed that a winning campaign can be run during that period

"In the previous election [Andrzej Duda] started on November 11th. We don't have November 11th yet. And he showed that a winning campaign can be run during that period, so timing is very important, but it's important that we reach an agreement together and that it is a common stance of the Civic Platform" - said Deputy Marshal Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska in an interview with Łukasz Konarski on Radio Zet.

08:19

Kidawa-Błońska:

I Will Definitely Not Compete with Donald Tusk

"I will definitely not compete with Donald Tusk, because a representative of the Coalition will compete with Mr. Duda, and Mr. Andrzej Duda said that he is not the president of all Poles. He said that seriously, and someone who wants to be president and says such things already disqualifies himself, because a part of the people is beyond his reach" - said Deputy Speaker Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska in a conversation with Łukasz Konarski on Radio Zet.

08:21

Budka on potential NIK law changes: I'd recommend solutions allowing Banasi's dismissal if he doesn't resign. I can imagine expanding the grounds for removal.
- I would recommend adopting solutions that would allow for the dismissal of Mr. Banasi [from the position of NIK President] if he does not resign. It is very difficult in terms of constitutional issues, but I recall that there have been situations where laws in Poland were changed so that convicted individuals could not run in parliamentary elections - stated Borys Budka in a conversation with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego," when asked if PO, in an extreme situation, would turn a blind eye to changing the law to lead to Marian Banasi's dismissal.
- I can imagine putting safeguards in place when someone is burdened with serious charges. However, it cannot be the case that it is solely the political majority that decides to remove someone who has a defined term in the Constitution, because that is very dangerous. On the other hand, I can imagine a situation where, for example, the list of grounds for dismissal is expanded, I don't know, to include the filing of an indictment against such a person. I will just remind you of one danger that may arise. Namely, the prosecution is in the hands of politicians, and it may turn out that now, in Banasi's case, PiS will suddenly want to act this way, but later a political prosecution will try to remove [other individuals] in this manner - the PO politician continued.
- We will talk. It is important to eliminate from public life a person against whom such serious accusations are presented. And it is important to learn about the CBA's reservations. We will also talk about this, because the ball is in PiS's court. I still have the impression that, unfortunately, PiS greatly benefits from Banasi remaining where he is, because with such accusations, he will be a very convenient person for them - he added.

08:47

Müller:

In the week of the first Sejm session, I expect the government's composition to be announced. The situation regarding the Prime Minister is settled.

- On November 12, when the first Sejm session will take place, in the week of the first Sejm session, I expect the composition of the Council of Ministers to be announced – stated Piotr Müller in an interview with Wojciech Dąbrowski on Polsat News's "Graffiti".

- Here, this situation [regarding the Prime Minister] is settled and is not subject to discussion in any way. Before the elections, Chairman Jarosław Kaczyński announced, directly, that the natural candidate is Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, and that remains the case at this time – added the government spokesperson.

08:57

Müller on Abolishing the 30-Fold Cap: If We Don't Introduce This, We Must Modify Next Year's State Budget Project. Discussions Are Underway on How to Do This So That the Deficit, If It Occurs, is Indeed Small
Discussions are indeed underway within the government on what to do in the event of withdrawing from the 30-fold cap. Politically, I think [a decision] has been made. There are no formal aspects yet, because this law was never adopted; it was an element of the budget implementation plan, meaning a package of laws that were to be adopted along with the state budget. So, if we don't introduce it, we must modify next year's state budget project. Discussions are now underway on how to do this so that the deficit, if it occurs, is indeed small. Even if it occurs, it will be one of the lowest in Polish history – stated Piotr Müller in an interview with Wojciech Dąbrowski on Polsat News's "Graffiti".

Prime Minister Returns to Ciechanów to Conclude Meeting Interrupted by Father's Critical Condition Before Elections
This will be the first open meeting with the Prime Minister since the elections. As 300POLITYKA has learned, at 7:15 PM in the State Higher Vocational School in Ciechanów, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki will conclude the meeting that took place on Friday before his father's death. At the time, the Prime Minister said: "I didn't want to cancel this meeting, but it's not easy for me because my dad's health has deteriorated significantly since yesterday, and I'm feeling a certain sadness. I will come within a month after the elections, for sure, to Ciechanów. Calmly, for longer, to – I hope – celebrate our victory with you." In Ciechanów, the Prime Minister asked not to chant his name. "I'm asking for a slightly different atmosphere," he said. "The Prime Minister has kept his word given to the residents of Ciechanów and is returning to finish the meeting," PiS MP Anna Cicholska, who is organizing the meeting, tells 300POLITYCE.

09:06

Müller on Congestion Tax: Yesterday's Statement by Emilewicz Was Part of Discussions Held Behind the Scenes at the Ministry. There Are Currently No Plans to Introduce This Tax.

- Yesterday's statement by the Minister [Emilewicz] was part of discussions that are rather taking place behind the scenes at the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology. Later she said she didn't mean that. There are no such plans at the moment regarding the introduction of this tax [congestion tax]. Indeed, there is a discussion about a retail tax, but we are talking about large retail stores and a situation of legal suspension resulting from the ongoing dispute before the CJEU - stated Piotr Müller in an interview with Wojciech Dąbrowski on Polsat News' "Graffiti".

Fogiel on Supreme Court's Decision on PiS Electoral Complaints: Once Again, Such Scaremongering by the Opposition Has Nothing to Do with Reality

It was our political competitors who, in absolutely hysterical terms, claimed this was some kind of PiS plot, aiming for the court to issue a favorable verdict and for us to take the Senate. This verdict is the best proof that all of that was nonsense. Once again, such scaremongering by the opposition has nothing to do with reality” – said Radosław Fogiel, MP-elect and Deputy Spokesperson for PiS, in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus.

09:43

Fogiel Asked if Kaczyński Will Be Marshal of the Senate: "It is the President's Prerogative. We Will Not Interfere in This Decision"
"Being a Marshal of the Senate is certainly an honor for every parliamentarian, but I also don't think that the issue of wanting or not wanting plays a role here. It is the President's prerogative. We will not interfere in this decision" - said Radosław Fogiel, newly elected MP and Deputy Spokesperson for PiS, in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus.

10:02

Sobolewski on the Senate: Some Districts Were Lost by Candidates' Overconfidence, At Least Three to Four

- I will say that some districts were lost by candidates' own overconfidence that they would win, and by running slightly weaker campaigns than they should have. We will be communicating this to those concerned, but in my opinion, at least three to four. A minimum of three to four. Not so much a weak campaign by the candidate, but rather due to the certainty that everything was already decided, and we will draw conclusions from this, because this impacted the outcome, leading to us not having 51 [senators] – stated Krzysztof Sobolewski in an interview with Łukasz Jankowski on Radio Wnet.

- One could say that currently in the Senate we have a tie, and what will happen by November 12th – there's a lot of time, and time in this situation plays to our advantage – added the chairman of PiS's Executive Committee.

10:29

Sobolewski on Raising the Minimum Wage: For 2-3 Days After the Announcement, We Didn't Do Everything We Could to Convey That It's Gradual, Not Abrupt. The Idea Itself Remains.

- Not so much the idea of a dynamic increase [in the minimum wage], because we are not increasing it dynamically; it's over 4 years, until 2023. The issue, in the first two or three days after announcing this idea, was communication, and here, I must admit, we didn't do everything we could to explain the raising of the minimum wage in the sphere of communication. The increase in the minimum wage level over the next 4 years. It's not that the minimum wage will be raised next year to the amount of PLN 4000. It didn't get through that it is gradual and will be a gradual process. So, it's 4 years. In the economy, that's a long period. It's not from day to day, from month to month. Therefore, in my opinion, and our analyses also indicate, that here for two to three days, we didn't do everything we could to convey the message that this is a gradual, not a violent, increase. The idea itself, of course, remains - stated Krzysztof Sobolewski in an interview with Łukasz Jankowski on Radio Wnet.

10:35

Sobolewski on the 30-fold Rule: It's a Continuously Discussed Matter Within the United Right Camp. The Formula Might Be Changed, or Something Quasi 30-Fold Introduced.

- One of the subjects of these talks is the strategy we adopt for the upcoming term, but I assume it will be for the next few terms. God willing, and to keep in mind that it's a few terms, a long-term strategy is needed. We cannot do something that's from one day to the next, ad hoc. So, this concerns, for example, and it's not a trivial matter, the 30-fold rule. For instance. Adopting assumptions regarding the further functioning or non-functioning of this principle. No, it's not closed - stated Krzysztof Sobolewski in an interview with Łukasz Jankowski on Radio Wnet.

- It is a matter continuously discussed within the United Right camp. It's one of those things. It is part of ongoing talks. What actions will be taken, perhaps the formula will be changed, perhaps something quasi 30-fold will be introduced. I don't rule out various things at this moment, but it is under discussion within our camp. We will see what decisions are made - added the Chairman of the PiS Executive Committee.

10:41

Sawicki:

I've heard from two PiS senators that by their calculations it's 50/50, so the opposition must be vigilant

- Michał Dworczyk is a rare politician who truly knows what he's talking about. And since the hunting season hasn't ended yet, I can imagine that on November 12th, two or three senators might have urgent medical examinations, health problems, and not appear at the inaugural session of the Sejm. But this is just speculation, because of course, I have no knowledge of who they are currently talking to and who they are trying to persuade. However, I've heard this not only from Michał Dworczyk but also from two other politicians, PiS senators, who stated that according to their calculations it's 50/50, so the opposition must be vigilant - stated Marek Sawicki in "Sygnały dnia" on PR1.

- No, I don't think so. I spoke with them [PSL senators] about two days ago, they all seemed to be in good shape, so I don't think their health has suddenly deteriorated. Anything can happen. We remember the case of Kałuża, where there was an evident exchange regarding functions, positions, and emoluments. However, in this case, due to the ostracism that such a senator would face, it might indeed be a much, I would say, more intelligent maneuver. I repeat: it could be a health-related issue - added the PSL politician.

10:46

Banaś:

All My Properties Were Acquired Legally and Fairly Through Notarial Deeds, Including the Tenement House That Became the Cause of Attacks Against Me

- All my properties were acquired through notarial deeds in a fair and legal manner, including the tenement house that became the cause of attacks against me - wrote NIK President Marian Banaś in a statement sent to the media.

Konfederacja to Hold Presidential Primaries; Kulesza: We Will Choose a Candidate Capable of Worthily Representing the Right and Winning the Election

We are prepared for the presidential elections. We are receiving a lot of questions about whether there will be a joint candidate from Konfederacja. We would like to announce that Konfederacja will organize ideological right-wing primaries for the position of the President of the Republic of Poland. In these primaries, we will choose a candidate who will not only be able to worthily represent ideological right-wing circles but will also be able to win this election” - said MP-elect Jakub Kulesza from Konfederacja.

We will hold 16 provincial conventions, and each province will have an assigned number of electors. These electors will then vote at an electoral convention, which will ultimately choose the presidential candidate” - added Witold Tumanowicz.

12:37

Two More PiS Electoral Protests Dismissed

- The reasoning presented by the court [regarding PiS protests concerning Senate elections in districts 12 and 92] is the same as in the case of the committee's previous protest. The court ruled that it has not been proven in any way that any irregularities occurred during the counting of votes, including invalid ones that were deemed invalid, and a protest cannot be based on an unsupported hypothesis - stated Michał Laskowski in an interview with journalists.

- In this situation, the protests have been left without further proceedings. This means there will be no further vote counting or any other actions until a resolution is reached by the full chamber - added the Supreme Court spokesperson. - Further [electoral] protests will be heard on November 5th and 6th. Among those that have been more widely discussed. Dates are being successively set for subsequent protests - he emphasized.

Civic Platform Board Delays Decision on Presidential Candidate Selection. Next Meeting on November 8th. Schetyna: Tusk Would Be the Obvious Platform Candidate if He Declared His Intentions
"I am rather [a proponent] of reaching a candidate who will have not only party support but also civic support, who will be a civic candidate. We have time. We have left ourselves time until next Friday," said the party leader Grzegorz Schetyna to journalists after the Civic Platform board meeting. "We are discussing how to arrive at the best candidacy. Donald Tusk, if he were to say that he wants to run, then he is the obvious candidate for the Platform. We will discuss the details on the 8th [of November] and we will present them," he added.

13:53

Kidawa-Błońska on KO Primaries: 'There's as Much Time as There Is. I Remind You, There's No Need to Rush. It's Not November 11th Yet, and Duda Used to Start His Campaign Then, So We Have Time.'

We are a democratic party and we are discussing. These are very serious matters and we will not do them under any time pressure, we just want to prepare very well for these tasks. I am glad that Civic Platform is such a group and that there was a good discussion today. There will be two or three more, but this gives great hope for an impulse that our decisions will be good and that we will win the elections” - said Deputy Marshal Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska after the Civic Platform's board meeting.

There is as much time as there is. I remind you that there is no need to rush. It's not November 11th yet, and that's when Mr. Duda started his campaign, so we have time” - she added.

Civic Coalition Requests Krakow Tax Chamber to Publicize Data on Taxes Paid by Banaś

As a person who guards the transparency of public life, I believe that taxes can lead us to the truth about the income and assets of Marian Banaś. It is precisely the information about the entirety of the NIK (Supreme Audit Office) president's tax settlements that can provide us with answers to two key questions. Were the assets listed in President Banaś’s declaration acquired legally, do they originate from legal sources, and were the incomes disclosed in the declarations not underestimated? To this end, we are today submitting a request to the Director of the Tax Administration Chamber in Krakow to publicize data concerning the taxes paid by Mr. Banaś. This request pertains to five groups of taxes” – said Paulina Hennig-Kloska from the Civic Coalition at a press conference in the Sejm.

15:14

Terlecki on the Final Government Composition: Not Soon. Definitely Not Today

- It won't be soon [until we know the final government composition]. No, no, definitely not [not today]. The personnel [will be discussed today], I just don't think we will announce them today. There are no discrepancies at all - stated Ryszard Terlecki in a conversation with journalists before a meeting of PiS authorities with the participation of leaders from Porozumienie and Solidarna Polska.

15:18

Gowin:

The Priority is Developing a Program for the Next 4 Years
In my opinion, the most important thing is to develop a program for the next 4 years – stated Jarosław Gowin in a conversation with journalists before a meeting of PiS authorities with the participation of the leaders of Porozumienie and Solidarna Polska. Asked about the coalition agreement, the Deputy Prime Minister replied: – No, no. There is no new coalition agreement yet. I don't think [it will be today]. It seems to me that there are too many issues to discuss for a final document to be finalized today. We can get closer.

15:23

Ziobro on the Deputy Prime Minister Role: A Fabricated Topic. I Never Proposed Such a Solution, I Didn't Want It, I'm Not Interested

- I have already explained to you that this is a fabricated topic by the media [taking on the role of Deputy Prime Minister] and those who feed such things to the media... I never proposed such a solution, I didn't want it, I'm not interested - stated Zbigniew Ziobro in a conversation with journalists before a meeting of PiS authorities with the participation of leaders of Porozumienie and Solidarna Polska.

19:34

Schetyna:

My Term Ends in January. There Will Be New Elections, But This is the End of a Stage. Everything is Ahead of Us

My term ends in January. There will be new elections, but this is the end of a stage. Everything is ahead of us. The post-election period is always one where we need to calmly find these relationships, maintain distance from the results, analyze everything, and compare it to previous elections. I think such an open conversation” - said PO (Civic Platform) leader Grzegorz Schetyna in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on Polsat News.

19:36

Schetyna:

We'll see if I run for PO leader. I said we must first elect club authorities and the Senate Presidium

"We'll see [if I run]. I said that we first need to elect the club authorities and the Senate Presidium. It's about the entire [club] authorities, the coalition arrangement, the college, the presidium. I don't know if [Borys Budka] is collecting signatures. I believe that the election of the club leader, the Senate Presidium with the Marshal, and then reaching a presidential candidate" - said the PO leader Grzegorz Schetyna in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on Polsat News.

19:36

Schetyna:

I Sympathize with the Senate and Senators Who Dealt with Karczewski for 4 Years

I sympathize with the Senate and the senators, those who had to deal with him [Stanisław Karczewski] for 4 years. I know how he behaved. The personalities are not important. What is important is the cooperation, which for 4 years will guarantee that the majority will be able to exercise power in the Senate. This is possible. Therefore, we are not discussing personnel composition. We will get to that. For now, we are talking about the structure of cooperation” – said PO leader Grzegorz Schetyna in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on Polsat News.

19:40

Schetyna:

We Will Do Everything, and I Am Convinced 51 Opposition Votes Will Give Us a Majority in the Senate Presidium

"We will do everything, and I am convinced that 51 opposition votes will give us a majority in the Senate Presidium, the election of the Marshal and Deputy Marshals. Yes, I am [certain] of that" - said PO chairman Grzegorz Schetyna in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on Polsat News.

19:40

Schetyna:

I Want to Hold Primaries Not Only Within Civic Platform, But Also Within Civic Coalition. Tusk Must Decide If He's Interested in Running At All

"I want to hold primaries not only within Civic Platform, but also within Civic Coalition. [Donald Tusk] must decide if he is interested in [running] at all. I am waiting for him to be elected head of the EPP, because it is a very big thing for Poland, for Civic Platform" - said PO leader Grzegorz Schetyna in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on Polsat News.

"If he decides to run for president, then there will be no candidate in PO, in KO, who will stand against him. Then there will be no primaries" - he added.

- We have established, we have confirmed that Mr. Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki will continue his mission, and we have established, agreed upon the structure of the future government. It was a good meeting. Very constructive, concise. Mr. Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki will of course speak about the details in the Sejm - Mariusz Błaszczak said in an interview with Edyta Lewandowska on the program "Gość Wiadomości" on TVP Info.

- There have been changes in the government's composition, but as for the core of the government, we shouldn't expect any deeper changes. We are continuing our mission that began in 2015 - Błaszczak added.

20:22

We Achieved the Result We Aimed For – a Full Electoral Victory. A Victory Enabling Us to Continue Our Mission, Reforms, and Changes
- I came primarily to thank you for what we have done together, because we have done something incredible for Poland, something that has never happened before – for one political formation to be attacked from all sides. Fiercely attacked by the media, from various directions. The road we took was winding, the wind blew in our faces, our backpacks were full of stones, but we managed to achieve the result we aimed for, which is a full electoral victory. A victory meaning we can continue our mission, our reforms, our changes, and it was the United Right, a single party, that accomplished this feat – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Ciechanów.

- In absolute numbers, it is even more impressive. Because the highest number of votes any party has obtained in the history of the Third Polish Republic’s elections over 30 years was around 6 million 700 thousand. In our case, it was over 8 million votes. This means we were able to convince significantly more people to support us, our program, and what we have done – PMM continued.

It Was at the Ballot Boxes That We Showed Democracy is Real
- It was at the ballot boxes that we showed democracy is real, that with the highest turnout since 1991, it was the highest turnout of all parliamentary elections, that we showed that one can argue with words, values, programs, projects, but if credibility follows a team, a political camp, a formation, a party, and our program precedes us, then it is worth voting for us and leading to that victory - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Ciechanów.

We Didn't Sell Our Family Silver. You Didn't Hear of Us Selling Orlen, Lotos, KGHM, PKO BP, Pekao S.A. Quite the Opposite, We Undertook Repolonization
We didn't sell our family silver. You didn't hear of us selling Orlen, Lotos, KGHM, PKO BP, Pekao S.A. Quite the opposite, we undertook repolonization. Because that's precisely what reducing dependence on foreign entities entails. We want to cooperate with them, with everyone. We welcome foreign capital and high technologies. But at the same time, we want to build Polish capital - said Mateusz Morawiecki during a meeting with the residents of Ciechanów.

Statistics, the Best Proof of Reality, Show Poles Are Returning. I Increasingly Hear: Mr. Prime Minister, We've Returned from Ireland, the UK, Germany

- Statistics, which are the best proof of reality, indicate that Poles are beginning to return. At meetings like this, I increasingly hear: Mr. Prime Minister, we have returned from Ireland, from Great Britain, from Germany. Salaries are still higher there. But when someone compares this to the cost of living and the wage growth over the last four years, we are heading in a good direction – said Mateusz Morawiecki during a meeting with residents of Ciechanów.
