Subsequently, the Members of Parliament will address, among other matters, changes to the Penal Code, educational law, and road traffic law. At 2:00 PM, the first reading of a civic bill to amend the Penal Code will take place, concerning the "provision of legal protection for children and youth against sexual depravity and demoralization." The session will conclude tomorrow, while on Thursday, the Senators will commence their work.

At 10:00 AM, a Council of Ministers meeting will be held, but the agenda has not yet been published.

The result is not what we expected. Anyway, regarding the result, I don't know if I said this to you or another editor, when I was asked about forecasts, I said I would be very happy if we got 231 seats in the Sejm and 51 in the Senate. My expectations were minimal, but still higher - said Krzysztof Sobolewski in an interview with Dorota Kania on "Polskie Radio 24". - Law and Justice adheres to certain principles. We might have had a different outcome in the Senate if we had chosen different people, but we resigned from them. They were not supported by us or were not put forward by us for the Senate. The opposition did not pretend in the Senate elections, as they did in the Sejm elections, to be different, divided into several blocs. It was one, monolithic bloc against us. It must be someone who, with their dynamism and position, will guide the Senate in rebuilding Polish parliamentarism” – said the Vice-Chairman of PO, Tomasz Siemoniak, in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus.

As announced, in the coming days Konfederacja will file an electoral protest with the Supreme Court, demanding the annulment of the recent parliamentary elections. According to the party, Telewizja Polska unlawfully failed to comply with a legally binding court order regarding the publication of pre-election polls in which Konfederacja crossed the electoral threshold.
