- When we talk about politics, first and foremost, I want us to win the election. - There is no entry in the draft budget for 2020, no 13th pension, so how can one talk about the 13th and 14th [pensions]? If they talk about preventive check-ups for Poles over 40, it's a simple copy of our program. We talk about check-ups, about health assessments after the age of 50, but how can one have credibility for these claims and proposals if a government agency of the Ministry of Health forbids, does not permit the financing of preventive check-ups for 70-year-olds, which the capital city of Warsaw wants to conduct? President Trzaskowski, wanting to examine seniors, does not get consent or approval from the Ministry of Health's agenda, because it is said that the costs of future treatment will then be too high. How can one seriously talk about the 100 bypass roads proposed by PiS within 100 days, declarations about starting the construction of 100 bypass roads, if they have halted all infrastructure investments? After all, as far as expressways and motorways are concerned, not only are they not finishing the projects that we left them, prepared, and tendered for, leaving them budgeted funds, but often contractors are already leaving unfinished sections because there is no money. Because it does not add up financially. These are promises and specifics that truly show that PiS's proposals have no credibility – stated Grzegorz Schetyna at a press conference in Gniezno.

- If we hear about equalizing agricultural subsidies, it's worth noting that just recently, a few days ago, Janusz Wojciechowski, PiS's candidate for European Commissioner, didn't utter a single word to say that these subsidies for farmers in Poland would be equalized to the European average. When directly asked, he said nothing. Today he has a second round of questions, and it seems that after last week's embarrassing performance, he will definitively end his career as a future European Commissioner today – stated Grzegorz Schetyna at a press conference in Gniezno.

- This is an entire project that shows how unbelievable this PiS program is. It's all about power to win, to make promises and then be able to explain why these things cannot be realized, because they will not be realized. Today I am saying this very firmly and showing it clearly. There is no chance that these promises, which are in reality political deception and misleading Poles, will not be fulfilled - stated Grzegorz Schetyna at a press conference in Gniezno.

„Poles, when they spoke about problems, told us they were aware of how the hate machine operates today, of public media, of how the hate machine connected with the circles of the current government operates. - It is our work on improving the tax system that is the primary source of our economic success. - Discussions are still ongoing in our headquarters about whether we will participate in this debate, because, if I may, let me outline a bit of the overall context. The debate is being organized by one of the leading news stations, but its format is quite problematic from PiS's perspective. I don't know if you are familiar with the game of piñata. I must admit, anticipating a bit, with the shrewdness of a spokesperson, that a question about today's debate might arise, I took the liberty of preparing some illustrative material. So, piñata, perhaps we know it from American films, series, a custom originating from Mexico, an entertainment where we have some effigy, most often resembling some four-legged, even or odd-toed hoofed animal, which is beaten with sticks by children. Children run, sometimes blindfolded, hitting this poor effigy with sticks, and the plan for today's debate this evening is designed precisely for a PiS representative to play the role of the piñata. The questions are set up, as I said, on one side PiS, on the other side anti-PiS. It would be fair if perhaps anti-PiS fielded one representative, but I understand that then it would be difficult to achieve the effect that the originators intended, namely attacking the PiS representative from all sides. So, we are aware of this. We are not enthusiastic about playing the role indicated in the attached image, although final decisions have not yet been made. We are considering. As for who would potentially represent PiS, we will decide if we opt for participation in this debate - stated Radosław Fogiel at a press conference.

- This is precisely what we have provisionally termed the coalition of chaos, led by a self-satisfied Grzegorz Schetyna. In reality, the choice on October 13th boils down to this: will we vote for PiS or the anti-PiS bloc? And it doesn't matter which party you vote for, or another. Recently, one of the parties tried to pretend it wasn't part of this collective arrangement, but recently, perhaps prematurely, Grzegorz Schetyna burned that plan by inviting them into the coalition, so the choice is clear. Either PiS and the continuation of what we have managed to achieve over the last 4 years, or anti-PiS. Either Poland Plus or Poland Minus, and of course, we leave this decision for the consideration of all Poles - stated Radosław Fogiel at a press conference.

- Every vote counts on October 13th cast for the Polish People's Party, but I believe more important words should be spoken: an apology for what President Wałęsa said on Sunday to the late Kornel Morawiecki - stated the leader of PSL, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz. As he noted, the Peasants' Party did not solicit the former president's support.

- We are very pleased to have secured the portfolio, or the Ministry of Agriculture. I never had any doubts, and I stated as much, that Janusz Wojciechowski, as a distinguished specialist in the field of agriculture, would be approved, and so it has indeed happened. In fact, I spoke with the President of the European Commission yesterday, and I can say that this is a very good omen for our plan to achieve equal subsidies for Polish farmers. This will be the primary task of our Polish Commissioner, but also of a person who will be responsible, co-responsible, and will be one of the key decision-makers for the EU budget exceeding 300 billion euros for agricultural policy, for the common agricultural policy. Thus, it is a huge success for Polish diplomacy, our success that we have obtained this Ministry of Agriculture in the EC. And today, with our Commissioner Janusz Wojciechowski, who knows the subject of agriculture extremely well, we will create the best possible conditions for the development of the Polish countryside and Polish agriculture, of course, throughout the EU. But our top priority is Polish farmers, the Polish countryside, and I am convinced that both breeders and our farmers who have low-yield, small-scale, medium-scale farms, as well as those large farmers who export throughout the EU, can count on the help of Polish Commissioner Janusz Wojciechowski. This is very good news for the Polish countryside and for Polish agriculture - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at a press conference concerning the program for the construction of football pitch roofs.

- Regardless of your views, please encourage your family to go, that it's necessary to take responsibility. If someone wants to criticize, let them go vote first. If they vote, they are entitled to criticize. If they didn't vote, it means they haven't taken responsibility, so let them not debate – said President Andrzej Duda during a meeting with residents of Górowski County.

- Don't believe all those who say that Poland's position on the international stage has weakened. If Poland's position on the international stage had weakened, we wouldn't have received 190 votes as a candidate for the UN Security Council. We wouldn't have received them because they wouldn't have voted for us - said President Andrzej Duda during a meeting with residents of the Góra district.

- I am extremely pleased that our colleague, our friend Janusz Wojciechowski, has been unanimously accepted by the committee in the European Parliament as a candidate for Commissioner for Agriculture - the president added.
