I would be irresponsible to say that 100% of what we promised has been achieved. „This is another example of how PO politicians treat people, with what contempt they treat ordinary people. „Everything that is happening in Warsaw is connected with the ecological disaster, with President Trzaskowski's lack of action against it, with his theories that local government is far from ideology. Meanwhile, quite the opposite – he is introducing demoralizing LGBT [programs] for children” – stated Minister Mariusz Błaszczak on Jedynka radio.

„[Politicians] have been postponing this issue [of healthcare] because it is indeed very difficult. If this problem isn't solved, we will never say we are in the 21st century, nor will we say that we live the same as citizens of other European countries. Everywhere [life expectancy] is increasing, while in our country it is falling” - said Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, Civic Coalition's candidate for Prime Minister and Deputy Marshal, in an interview with Jacek Żakowski on TOK FM Radio's Poranek. 

- This is an absolutely unprecedented situation with these tapes. I'm not even mentioning the fact that someone recorded their own - said Błażej Spychalski in a conversation with Marcin Fijołek on Poranek Siódma9. - Poland is one, and it doesn't matter if it's a big city or a small town. For some, as it turns out, it has enormous significance; they are repulsed by small cities and towns. This is certainly a matter that will continue to unfold. This is also a matter that the appropriate services will have to deal with - added the President's spokesperson.

- Grzegorz Schetyna, I say this with regret, is lying. For the umpteenth time, and it is a lie that has no basis in any facts. Therefore, if we are talking about facts, then they are as follows. Today, the Prime Minister, and at that time the bank president Mateusz Morawiecki, repeatedly pointed out the problem of Swiss franc loans during meetings with the KNF and advocated for limiting lending activities in francs. One quote from January 2009: supervision should prohibit the granting of loans in Swiss francs. This is a quote from Mateusz Morawiecki from one of the interviews given at that time. Because BZ WBK did not grant these loans for a very long time, its market share in mortgage loans dropped from over ten percent to two percent - stated Michał Dworczyk in a conversation with Beata Michniewicz in "Trójka's Political Salon".

- Only when, after 2008, due to market loss, BZ WBK began to grant these loans, were the criteria for their approval extremely conservative. Grzegorz Schetyna is cynically lying. And one last fact to present on this matter. Regarding the number of Swiss franc loans granted, BZ WBK was the second to last bank among the twenty largest banks in Poland that granted Swiss franc loans. The share in mortgage loans overall in BZ WBK was a few percent, while in other banks this share reached over forty percent - emphasized the Head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.

'There are certainly no special emotions. I think that's not good. The choice Poles will have in nine days is quite fundamental. It's a choice between what is happening today in Poland and the continuation of this process, a truly great change in our lives, and a return to what was before 2015,' said Błażej Spychalski in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on Poranek Siódma9.

I am convinced that Janusz Wojciechowski is an excellent candidate [for EU Commissioner] and I hope he will be approved, because there are no substantive reasons for it to be otherwise. However, it must be admitted that the political opponents of PiS, with Chairman Schetyna once again at the forefront, are doing a lot, both domestically and internationally, to discredit the PiS government, and are taking actions that are objectively detrimental from the perspective of the Polish state – stated Michał Dworczyk in an interview with Beata Michniewicz on "Trójka Political Salon".

- To my knowledge, no work is underway on changes in this area at this time. The budget quite precisely inscribes the 30-fold limit, and I am unaware of any work being conducted on this mechanism - stated Michał Dworczyk in an interview with Beata Michniewicz on "Trójka Political Salon," regarding whether there is a compromise idea concerning the ZUS contribution limit.

- We are terribly concerned by what took place yesterday, namely the press conference of the Polish Banks Association. The ZBP said something to the effect that this is a single verdict in an individual case. Basically, it has no bearing here. If someone wants to resolve or change their agreement, they should go to court. I think it's a shame. I think that the banks, which are heavily burdened by Swiss franc loans, could have come forward and said: ok, at this point, it's worth considering whether to propose some systemic solution from our side, from the banks' side - said Błażej Spychalski in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on the Poranek Siódma9 program. 

"I am a realist. I believe that in a few days in October, we will be talking with representatives of other opposition parties and will reach an agreement on how to create a good government and how to find a place for everyone. I have [candidates for ministers]. We will likely discuss with representatives of other opposition groups, and I cannot present them with a done deal regarding my vision. They also have their own vision, which is why we must [decide this] together" - said Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, Civic Coalition's prime ministerial candidate and Deputy Marshal, in an interview with Jacek Żakowski on Radio TOK FM's Poranek. 

"I will present one more minister in this campaign from an area that interests me, but not today. And that will be all" - she added.

"We know how TVP Info works. It's a propaganda wing of PiS, and the fact that some recordings appear at the last minute is no surprise to us. This is a warning to others to take this into account, that this should be included in PiS's campaign budget. Yesterday, I listened to public radio for over an hour. Ms. Lichocka was talking with a journalist. I didn't know who was the journalist and who was the candidate" - said Sławomir Neumann from Civic Platform in an interview with Marek Kacprzak on the program "Tłit WP".

„This is not the most important thing in these elections. It certainly doesn't help us. I won't hide it, but we must be aware of the scale. We are talking about an absolute provocation, which TVP is engaging in a week before the elections” - said Sławomir Neumann from Civic Platform (PO) in an interview with Marek Kacprzak on the program „Tłit WP”.

- Tomorrow, we stand primarily with Mr. Aleksander Kwaśniewski. The most popular president since 1989. President of two terms, beloved by Poles, with high approval ratings. Tomorrow, Mr. President will be with us in Katowice - said Robert Biedroń during a press conference in Rybnik.

„I wish for everyone that Wirtualna Polska and other private media are not pluralized like TVP, because then we will truly live in a country resembling Turkey, where 150 newspapers were shut down, not in democratic countries. This truly threatens us” - said Sławomir Neumann of Civic Platform (PO) in an interview with Marek Kacprzak on the program „Tłit WP”.

- If after the elections it turns out that the main private media, I'm talking about large private media that have the capacity to reach not just the Twitter bubble, not just intellectuals, not just the intelligentsia in Warsaw, Krakow, Gdansk, Wroclaw, etc., but can genuinely shape public opinion, for example, by reporting on the Banas affair – said Paweł Kowal in an interview with Grzegorz Sroczyński in the Morning Conversation on Gazeta.pl.

- If these media were not to exist, it means that there will also be no future elections, because the future elections will already be crippled. Because elections are not just an act of voting. Recently, I saw, forgive my expression, one journalist chuckling, 'There is no democracy, there is voting.' That's precisely the point, that voting alone does not constitute democracy. Russia also has voting. So, the point is that normal election campaigns should be possible, that citizens should be able to choose, meaning there should be diversity and pluralism – added the Civic Coalition candidate for the Sejm.

„These are tapes allegedly from local elections. They have been released at precisely this moment when we are entering parliamentary elections, when Poles are dealing with very important matters, they want to make a crucial choice and know what politicians are proposing regarding the judiciary, healthcare, and education, and this is what Poles want to discuss. I will not be dealing with tapes during the campaign. Voters will judge politicians at the ballot box. We don't have colleagues who are a burden to us” - said Deputy Marshal Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska from Civic Platform (PO) at a press conference.

We would like to present an important package. A package that, for me, a former mayor of a medium-sized city, Słupsk, is extremely important. A package for small and medium-sized cities. We would like to announce this package, this pact, here in Gliwice. A city that is recognized in Poland as a city that is developing well but not fully utilizing its chances due to those ruling in Warsaw – said Robert Biedroń during a press conference of the Left. Among the pact's assumptions were:

• Important state offices in smaller cities
• PLN 50 billion annually in investments in local governments
• A train in every district, a bus in every municipality
• Affordable housing in installments
• Elevation of the legal status of small and medium-sized cities
• A guarantee of a place in a nursery
• The Copernicus Program in cities
• PLN 1 billion annually for regional universities
• Access to a specialist doctor in cities
• A cinema in every municipality

- We wanted to meet today because it's the 15th anniversary of a famous Civic Platform campaign, in a way fundamental to this party, the 2005 referendum under the slogan 4xYES. It was quite a loud political campaign, PO activists collected signatures from Poles for their proposals, then with great pride, in front of the cameras, they brought boxes with these signatures to the Sejm. Although we later heard something about minced signatures, let's not be petty - stated Radosław Fogiel at a PiS press conference. - Today we want to show what's left in these boxes, or what's jumping out of them - continued Krzysztof Sobolewski. - Let's see what's in Platform's boxes today. It so happens that we have materials characteristic of certain places we've heard about recently. So, 'Podnieścisław' (Raise-it-slav - a pun on increasing things), what did Platform do regarding taxes in 2010. They raised VAT. Grzegorz Schetyna voted, Marshal Kidawa-Błońska also voted for it. What else do we have in the box? More tax increases by PO. Besides the VAT increase, an increase in the disability insurance contribution paid by employers. Now they're shedding crocodile tears, feigning concern for employers, on the occasion of our minimum wage increase. Abolition of the internet relief, which they will now offer gigabyte by gigabyte, according to their program brochures. An increase in excise duty, money that disappeared from the OFE (Open Pension Funds) - Fogiel pointed out. - Another box - out of it jumps an assurance that they will talk about 500+. They are returning to the topic of 500+. We will talk about 'realization,' quoting Grzegorz Schetyna, we will equalize this program, correct it. This system definitely needs to be reviewed, says Marshal Kidawa-Błońska. In my opinion, in Platform's opinion, this is not an entirely fair program. What are the consequences? What can we expect? We can expect that as much will remain of the 500+ program as of PO's promises, meaning nothing. It will be liquidated. The five will disappear, and two zeros will remain. The last one is already a classic before elections: we are not raising the retirement age. And what happened later? May 11, 2012 - the Sejm adopts a higher retirement age. Who led this bill? Platform's coalition partner, Chairman Kosiniak-Kamysz. Maybe Kosiniak led it, and Kamysz didn't want to, or vice versa. It's varied. And who voted for raising the retirement age? Grzegorz Schetyna, PO chairman, Marshal Kidawa-Błońska, now a candidate for Prime Minister from the KO (Civic Coalition). How can you trust such people who, in 2005, collected signatures, asked people for support, for them to sign a referendum, and then, once people are deluded, we have such an effect that we have 'Tyradło' (a pun on extending work for life - 'do końca życia i jeden dzień dłużej' - until the end of life and one day longer), quoting the classic - Sobolewski continued.

- Today we were supposed to focus only on that during the conference, but life and the situation are dynamic, and a classic figure from the Civic Platform pops out of the box - stated Krzysztof Sobolewski at a PiS press conference.

- And hiding within him is Sławomir Neumann, the head of the Civic Platform club, and his rather interesting thoughts on politics, Poles, voters, and people who probably considered themselves allies of the Civic Platform - Radosław Fogiel continued, quoting the tape published today by TVP Info.

- Up until now, these types of formulations, principles of loyalty 'until death,' were rather characteristic of entrepreneurial family organizations typical of southern Italy, not politicians. I believe that in politics, we should primarily be guided by principles, honesty, and not by the idea that if you belong to my group, my family, then I will defend you, and if you leave, I will destroy you - Fogiel added.

- Before the election, they're trying to reheat old dishes and show something that's a jumble of sentences taken out of context and indeed elements of unparliamentary language, for which Sławomir Neumann has today apologized to everyone. And it seems to me that he will be careful in the next parliament not only about what he says, but also how he uses punctuation marks - stated Grzegorz Schetyna, commenting on the recording published by TVP Info.

„The Central Anti-Corruption Bureau has unequivocally stated in its communiqué that it does not possess a system for mass surveillance of Poles, and this was the accusation from a commercial television station which produced a report based largely on statements from either anonymous individuals or those politically engaged on the Civic Platform (PO) side” - said Jarosław Krajewski of Law and Justice (PiS) in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus.

„For 4 years, I monitored the actions of special services as a member of the parliamentary committee on special services. I must say that I see huge changes compared to how the services operated during the PO governments. I think the fundamental principle that has been restored is the matter of the ethos of Polish special service officers” - said Jarosław Krajewski from PiS in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus.

„The Civic Coalition has prepared solutions. We will abolish the license fee because this money should not go towards such programs and broadcasts. Once and for all, we will ensure that no politician, no political party has influence over the content and what happens in the programs. Programs should be independent and professionally managed. We will restore the KRRiT's constitutional duties, which were taken away from them, and we will abolish the RMN. Poles need objective, well-organized media where they can obtain truthful information” - said KO's candidate for prime minister, Deputy Marshal Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, at a press conference.

„I am very glad that the issue of the quality of public debate has become an important topic for the Civic Coalition. I appeal for us all to start with ourselves, to change our language, to use language full of culture, because everything can be said in a different way, without offending or violating dignity” - added MEP Magdalena Adamowicz.

We cannot have more hospitals, more departments closing. I will present just a few examples from recent days. Barlinek - children's ward closed. Zakopane - maternity and gynecology ward suspended. Mrągowo - children's ward suspended, neonatal sub-ward. Wodzisław Śląski - surgical ward suspended. Włocławek - pediatric surgery ward closed. Cieszyn - pediatric surgery ward converted into outpatient clinics. Głubczyce - pediatric ward suspended. Bielsko-Biała - anesthesiologists resigned. Opole - emergency department closed. Sanok - staffing shortages among laboratory technicians. This is a list from the last two or three days of the healthcare crisis. PiS led to this. Jarosław Kaczyński said that Poland was in ruins. His words became reality. PiS rule led to this. A prophet. He predicted he would leave Poland in ruins – said Robert Biedroń during a press conference in Dąbrowa Górnicza.

„A formal completion of what was announced by President Trump during our last meeting in New York. Indeed, I hope that visa-free travel between Poland and the United States will soon become a reality. The procedure for admitting Poland to the Visa Waiver program has begun. This means that all formal requirements have been met by Poland. This has been approved by the American administration, and the procedures are now underway” – said President Andrzej Duda at a briefing.

„As we were told in the United States, these are now technical matters. It takes a while, but we can expect that in a relatively short period – I don’t want to specify how long – this will be implemented, and Poles will indeed be able to travel to the USA without visas” – he added. 

- Poland's economy is fortunate that this ruling doesn't mean a Swiss franc 'doomsday' because it's not automatic. However, courts will be deliberating these cases for years. There is a certain risk that it will impact credit growth and, to some extent, affect the economy – said Paweł Borys in an interview with Agnieszka Mosór on Polsat News's "Gość Wydarzeń" program.

- The sense of voting for Civic Platform will be immediately reviewed. This conversation [Neumann's] suggests a para-mafia institution that protects its own. I fear one thing. The only gain for Civic Platform will be membership numbers. Likely, all individuals with legal troubles will immediately join PO. Perhaps they will even sign up in penal institutions. They win elections there, now they will be members - said Waldemar Buda in a conversation with Piotr Witwicki on the program "Wydarzenia i Opinie" (Events and Opinions) on Polsat News.

- It's good that there is this declaration, but I don't think anyone doubts it's purely political. It's a certain deal that was made because we declared that we are buying F-35s. What kind of deal it will be, I'm not talking about visas but about military equipment, I'll show you when the equipment arrives. • It’s good that we are pursuing a policy of transatlantic cooperation. But please, at least say a good word about Brussels. It’s not that we only have Washington. It’s across the Atlantic. We need to go to Brussels, because it’s closer.
