- Essentially, this is the Civic Platform's 'no money' syndrome. Rostowski used to say 'there isn't and there won't be' - said Stanisław Karczewski in an interview with Michał Rachoń on TVP Info's "Jedziemy".

- We're discussing this topic, and there are emotions. We're getting emotional about it. That's exactly what Trzaskowski and the Civic Platform are after. They don't have a program, they don't have an offer, no proposals for Poles, so they stir up emotions. Who wins elections? The one who mobilizes voters, so he is mobilizing his voters in this way - added the Marshal of the Senate.

- We are not suspending payments, we are paying out this money [from 500+]. All the money was transferred yesterday, but I am concerned that the government is transferring money at the last minute, causing chaos and obviously problems with having to disburse money at the last minute, and all local governments have this problem - stated Rafał Trzaskowski in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

- We have a precise table which shows that the money was sent on September 26th this month. It should have been sent in the middle of the month. At the very least. But most importantly, it should have been foreseen in the budget, because the budget assumed over 100 million, and it turns out that 200 million is needed in Warsaw. I very politely pointed this out to the Prime Minister, sending him letters. I sent him a letter on September 13th, telling him that the budget for Warsaw was short by almost 100 million, 80 million złoty. I wasn't making a political fuss about it, I was just demanding that these payments be made faster - the Mayor of Warsaw continued.

- Who is making noise? It's the right-wing politicians accusing me of being a thief, and we will go to court, as well as the publicists. The Chairman [Kaczyński] comes out and also attacks me, claiming I am delaying the disbursement of money, which is untrue. I want to say one thing: I did not make a political fuss out of this. I wrote a letter to the Prime Minister because I was concerned. What is the logic in me, being concerned, writing a letter stating that there might not be enough money in the state budget, and PiS accusing me of wanting to delay the disbursement of this money? As usual, TVP resorts to manipulation, claiming that we have a problem with 500+. We have no problem with 500+. We support 500+. We just want to disburse it on time and avoid chaos - stated Rafał Trzaskowski in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

- Stuhr has become a politician. A politician through and through. He attacks Law and Justice with all his might. He wants to ridicule us. All I can say is that we have thoroughly studied the Platform's electorate, and ours. It is completely untrue, our electorate is changing, expanding in virtually every social group - said Stanisław Karczewski in an interview with Michał Rachoń on TVP Info's "Jedziemy".

- Yes, of course [there will be a lawsuit with Rafał Ziemkiewicz for calling him a thief]. Enough of these lies and manipulations. I want to say one thing: I may be concerned about this and I may ask questions about whether there is money in the state budget, especially for the first child for the 500+ program, because I don't see that money. I see in my plan over PLN 100 million, which was accepted for Warsaw, and based on our calculations, which were sent to the ministry, it turns out that there should be PLN 80 million more – stated Rafał Trzaskowski in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

- There are no delays [in paying out 500+] because we are bending over backwards. If we receive money on September 26th and our queries are not answered precisely, then I have to ask what will happen with October, November, December. This money was not foreseen in the plan, and I have to plan on some basis. This is completely normal - stated Rafał Trzaskowski in a conversation with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego". - Jarosław Kaczyński comes out and suggests, and then TVP amplifies it, TVP Info, because everything there is planned and synchronized between what the government and public television stations are saying, that we have a problem and that we are the problem when it comes to 500+. It is the exact opposite. It is we who have been pointing out for many, many weeks, and all other local governments, that the government is causing problems - added the Mayor of Warsaw.

- I see that Kaczyński has a problem with me and local government officials, but it's not me running in these elections. So let the chairman focus on his election campaign, and I expect answers from the government, not from Chairman Kaczyński, about where that money is, and whether it is definitely allocated for the coming months. And I would also expect Varsovians to be treated seriously and for money not to be transferred three days before the end of the month, at the time when payments are being processed - stated Rafał Trzaskowski in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

- Well, I didn't convince them then, I didn't manage to convince them. I will talk again now, presenting these three elements that I'm paying attention to. Abolishing the cap creates, generates problems for ZUS in the long run, because these unlimited contributions, let's imagine the pension and disability benefits that will have to be paid out. Secondly, out of these 370,000 people who are beneficiaries of the 30-fold cap, 29% are from the public sector, 71% are from the market. I fear that most of this 71% will take advantage of other forms of employment. We won't see the impact on the budget - Jadwiga Emilewicz said in an interview with Piotr Witwicki on Polsat News' "Graffiti".

- An action is planned, all state institutions are currently aimed at local government officials, and these are synchronized actions between PiS politicians, TVP, and all state institutions. For example, decisions regarding the pipeline are being expedited and pressure is being created, while simultaneously, controls by all state bodies are underway solely to demonstrate mismanagement. I put forward this thesis and am ready to defend it: all state institutions are currently politicized and are being used in the fight against the opposition - stated Rafał Trzaskowski in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

- I will calmly cope with the fact that local government officials are currently public enemy No. 1 for the ruling party. However, I object to one thing. To considering this as normal - emphasized the Mayor of Warsaw.

- I tried to find something about this gentleman because I don't know him at all. And I found, for example, on the 'Gazeta Wyborcza' Szczecin website. - Yes, [Dariusz Matecki] should withdraw his candidacy for the Sejm. I cannot imagine working with parliamentarians who use such language - added the Deputy Marshal of the Sejm.

"I am convinced that winning 65-70 seats [in the Senate] is achievable, we have a chance to win them. We are doing everything to make it happen," said the Deputy Chairman of Civic Platform, Borys Budka, in a conversation with Jan Wróbel on the Morning program of Radio TOK FM.

"Konfederacja is taking votes from PiS. I would wish for Konfederacja to get 4.98% of the vote. That would be the safest for Poland. I would be afraid of the people who might enter from those lists. I remember who is on those lists. There are a dozen or so people with whom I would have no problem talking. People with free-market, liberal, economic, and normal conservative views. "I wouldn't want people to self-censor, people have the right to express their views, and voters then judge whether they like it or not, but they also know our program and what is written in it. I cannot be responsible for my colleagues' views. Everyone has a right to their own. I value freedom of speech" - said Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, the Civic Coalition's candidate for Prime Minister, in an interview with Beata Michniewicz on Polish Radio Channel 3.

- This decision, the proposal by the Mayor of Wrocław [to suggest to the City Council naming a street after Kornel Morawiecki] actually shows that there are circumstances and people who can set aside daily, current political disputes and truly behave appropriately. I think commemorating Marshal Morawiecki, especially in Wrocław, is something obvious, but I also think that in other places in Poland, such or other gestures of remembrance are simply fitting – stated Radosław Fogiel in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus.

- Using Rafał Trzaskowski's own language, he is lying to himself. Because for several days now, there's been some strange story unfolding. First, there were reports of alleged problems with the 500+ program in Warsaw. The city suggests it hasn't received the funds. When the voivode announces that the transfer has been made, and yesterday Minister Borys-Szopa assured that everything is according to plan, the schedule, and the demand submitted by Warsaw, because it is the municipalities that assess how much is needed for 500+. Warsaw received everything, the money arrived in its account, yet Rafał Trzaskowski claims there is no money. This is either an expression of some extraordinarily frivolous financial policy, or we are dealing with a very ugly pre-election game here. One can guess that Rafał Trzaskowski, wanting to help his political camp, is playing with children and families, trying to create some artificial crisis for which he wants to blame the PiS government. It is simply undignified - stated Radosław Fogiel in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus.

„I wouldn't suspect any city mayor, certainly not Warsaw's, of not wanting to pay the money, because they simply don't have that money in the budget and cannot hold onto it. In the case of teachers, when I was still mayor, the government did not pay approximately 60 million zlotys. For services and for payouts, regarding the costs of the reform” - said former Mayor of Warsaw, Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz, in an interview with Maciej Głogowski in the EKG Magazine on TOK FM.

"[I think the city handled the Czajka situation] very well. President Trzaskowski managed. They say it's a Czajka failure. It's not a Czajka failure, but of two collectors and an incinerator, which if it hadn't been built, we would have paid a 1.5 billion złoty fine. Incinerator failures are quite common" - said former Warsaw Mayor Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz in an interview with Maciej Głogowski in the EKG Magazine on TOK FM.

„Warsaw won't benefit, nor will the Mazowieckie Voivodeship. The [Kaczyński] leader will benefit by potentially drawing Warsaw's borders in such a way that he can finally seize Warsaw, because it is a thorn in his side that PiS doesn't rule Warsaw and that – as he himself said during the local government campaign – it's hard to expect PiS to win the elections in Warsaw. If he changes the voting boundaries, it will affect the division of electoral districts, and he will have a greater chance, even though the entire voivodeship greatly benefits from Warsaw's development” - said Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz, former Mayor of Warsaw, in an interview with Maciej Głogowski on Magazyn EKG on TOK FM.

• - Obviously, in the coming days, the Prime Minister [Morawiecki] will be withdrawn from the campaign. We will now be preparing for the funeral ceremonies. It will, of course, be a state funeral – stated Michał Dworczyk in an interview with Marek Kacprzak on WP's "Tłit" program.
• - The Prime Minister will definitely not campaign until the funeral – emphasized the Head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister. When asked if it was known when and where Kornel Morawiecki's funeral would take place, Dworczyk replied that the final decision had been made for Warsaw to be the resting place.
• - As for the date and time, such decisions will be made in the near future and we will inform about them – he added, confirming that Kornel Morawiecki will be buried at Powązki Cemetery.

- Rafał Trzaskowski, as the Mayor of Warsaw, wants the money that Poles have guaranteed through the 500+ program to reach them as quickly as possible. The speed of executing these transfers depends solely on the pace at which the government deposits these funds into the city's account. Recently, there have been delays. Funds are needed for October, November, and December. If the government has pure intentions, it shouldn't ask such questions but simply transfer the money quickly - said Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska during a press conference.

- We will not raise the retirement age, but we will encourage seniors who want to work, who still have the strength and energy, to choose this path and make it easier for them to increase their income, and at the same time to remain active. Work is also value, dignity, and people want to work. We will encourage them to do so - said Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska during a press conference.

- Seniors – the most important, in my opinion, very important group in our society, a part of our society. People to whom we owe the fact that we live and work. They built Poland, they cared for us, and now they need us to treat them seriously, to appreciate what they have done, but also to fulfill their expectations. They want to be active, they don't want to be lonely, they want good medical care. They want care when they are no longer independent. We must provide them with all of this. And what is PiS doing? They are promising a 13th and 14th pension, which is not in this budget. The 13th pension was our project, and we will give this 13th pension to pensioners every year. It is we who are proposing a care voucher for our pensioners when there is a need for someone to take care of them, so that they feel safe and have a sense of dignity and value, because this is very, very important for these people. We have prepared a very concrete, well-consulted program for seniors. And most importantly, my colleagues and I have consulted many provisions in this program during hundreds of meetings. Many provisions in this program arose from these conversations – stated Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska at a press conference.

- We promise that next year the Seniors' Parliament will take place in the Polish Parliament, as it should, to show respect to our seniors and to show that their voice is very important to us – added the Civic Coalition's candidate for prime minister.

- The 13th pension is not our electoral slogan, but something we talked about over 2.5 years ago. We spoke about it at our programmatic convention in Łódź, and we confirm it today. Not during the election campaign, to make electoral promises here, but to build financial stability for seniors, and not as a promise, but permanently. That's why we say and show: Kaczyński's promises of the 13th and 14th pension from 2021 are pure electoral deception. We say: every year in the budget. Just as there is no 13th pension in the 2020 budget, there are no funds for it, so we will introduce these funds and implement these provisions every subsequent year – stated Grzegorz Schetyna at a press conference.

– My vision for the future is the Łódź metropolis. 5% of PIT for the Łódź metropolis guarantees almost PLN 200 million annually, and nearly PLN 800 million over the term. These are funds for improving healthcare, and resources for broader education. Thanks to the metropolis, we will have additional money for Łódź's needs. We want to continue this good change and we are convinced that it is possible. We have confirmed through our actions that we are credible in this program and its implementation, and a concrete program, divided into stages, leading to a substantial increase in Polish wages was outlined in Lublin at the congress. We believe that low Polish wages are a real problem. Not an opportunity, as the opposition says, but a problem. A problem reflected in the fact that nearly three million of our compatriots have left for abroad, and the strength of the economy is also determined by the size of society, by whether capable, engaged, educated people want to work here, pay taxes here, and conduct business activities here. "Of course, we also want to reform the Polish judiciary. We were stopped halfway by the actions of the total opposition, the judicial elites who themselves called themselves an "extraordinary caste," and Brussels, which blocked our reform halfway. We want to finish it, we want it to reach its goal. Because the Polish judiciary requires fundamental changes. There are many bad things there that we already defined some time ago when we took responsibility for matters in Poland over four years ago, and these various irregularities, bad phenomena that came to light during the reforms only confirm the correctness of our diagnosis. Fundamental changes need to be made there. It's an Augean stable. To do this, we must complete our bold, radical, far-reaching reform. In light of the death of Kornel Morawiecki, the senior marshal, and the father of Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, the Prime Minister has decided to suspend the election campaign until the funeral. He will not be participating in election events until then. The information regarding the funeral date should be determined today and made public - stated government spokesperson Piotr Müller in a conversation with journalists in front of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.

- The Supreme Audit Office, one of the most important institutions that can scrutinize public spending and the way the authorities operate, has been paralyzed. It has been completely incapacitated and paralyzed. In its current staffing situation, it is incapable of undertaking any significant actions that could curb the government's power - stated Mariusz Witczak during a press conference in the Sejm.

From 4:00 PM in the Sejm, a book of condolences will be set up following the death of Kornel Morawiecki.

- The Left will never agree to the privatization of public hospitals. Healthcare in Poland will be well-funded and public. We will ensure that public healthcare expenditure is brought to a normal European level, so that it is obvious that a person can feel safe in Poland, regardless of whether they are healthy or fall ill – said Adrian Zandberg during a press conference of the Left.

- Shockingly long queues for specialists under PiS and still lengthening, inequality in access to medical care, which is linked to the fact that the poor often cannot afford treatment because they cannot afford to buy medication. These are pathologies that we must change. That is why the Left speaks very clearly. Raising expenditure to the European level, i.e. 7.2% of GDP, introducing a new drug reimbursement system so that prescription drugs can be bought for PLN 5, introducing solutions that will result in more young doctors in Poland. Finally, healthcare that is based on science, not on prejudice and superstition. This is our commitment – added Zandberg.

- Under the rule of Law and Justice, large corporations pay exactly zero zlotys in taxes. This is upside down and a major problem we are grappling with. Unfortunately, this is not changing under the rule of Law and Justice. What's worse, the government is generously handing out gifts to large corporations, which I believe is unfair - said Adrian Zandberg during a press conference of the Left (Lewica).

- What is the reason why employees pay taxes, small businesses pay taxes, and JP Morgan bank receives millions of zlotys from its friend Mateusz Morawiecki to support its Polish branch? What kind of justice is it when a Polish employee pays taxes, someone running a small vegetable shop pays taxes, and a large, international corporation with hundreds of stores in Poland pays absolutely zero tax? What kind of justice is it when the Polish government abandons the introduction of a digital tax on Google, Facebook, on these powerful international corporations, while small Polish startups pay taxes normally? This is upside down - the leader of Razem continued.

- If PiS wants to address fairness in the tax system, it must answer the question of why it did nothing about it for four years. I think I know the answer to that question, and that answer is Ambassador Mosbacher. Every time a sensible project emerges to end this injustice, the pressure from the American embassy proves to be very effective. Suddenly, it turns out that nothing can be done about the tax system. Suddenly, it turns out that Poland changes the list of reimbursed medicines under the dictate of corporations because the American embassy demanded it. I think it would be worthwhile to end this and start pursuing a slightly more sovereign policy in Poland - Zandberg added.

"I am ready to fight for Poland. Truly" - stated Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska in an interview with Justyna Dobrosz-Oracz on Wyborcza.pl, when asked if she would be ready to run for president if the parliamentary elections were unsuccessful. "I am not saying 'no'. But I believe that this October 13th will show that Poles truly want the kind of Poland we talk about. They want a Poland where people cooperate. And I hope that the results for the entire opposition will be so good that we can say: 'Yes, we succeeded, we will continue to work together'" - added the Civic Coalition's candidate for prime minister.

- These are definitely elections about Poland, about the most important things. I think many things would unite us if not for the fact that certain extreme groups or circles use very negative emotions or even hatred to achieve their political goals. This is a misfortune because in the long term, it destroys the democratic fabric, it destroys our attitudes, our cultural models. What's more, I want to say that from the very beginning, it was PO MPs who put forward the postulate in parliament and we voted on our amendment to ensure that 500+ covered all children, so that no one would be excluded. Furthermore, it is PO that also postulates the permanent introduction of the 13th pension. The introduction of the 500+ program was possible because we left Poland in very good condition. We navigated the economic crisis without significant damage, and we ensured an almost 100% increase in the minimum wage. Under the rule of our predecessors from PO and PSL, very many families were mired in poverty, and fertility rates were at a dramatically low level, falling year after year. That is why we decided that supporting Polish families is a priority and must be a priority for the Polish state. It has enabled many families to go on holiday, and it has enabled many families to purchase essential items for their existence. It has eliminated the disgrace of the Third Polish Republic, which was hungry children. The 500+ program is the foundation of our social policy, and we will of course continue to implement it. Do not believe the assurances of our political rivals that they will maintain this program. They criticized this program from the very beginning. They say they will limit it. We will never agree to the introduction of the Rabiej plan, which means first introducing registered partnerships, then same-sex marriages, and finally granting these marriages the right to adopt children. Children must be protected. Children cannot become a toy in the hands of LGBT communities. Therefore, we are also against children being subjected to sexualization, and such attempts are also taking place in Poland. Our predecessors from PO and PSL signed unfavorable contracts with Russia, which made us energetically dependent on that country, and imposed very high prices for gas on Poles. - Relations with the USA are very important, but relations with our partners in the EU are also important. When we had the opportunity to participate in governing our homeland, we proved effective in foreign policy. We negotiated the budget for Poland, which was close to half a billion zlotys for our country. Meanwhile, the PiS government has suffered a huge defeat in this area. Over 100 billion less in the negotiated EU budget means 15 billion less for you, for farmers. It means 15 billion less to improve Polish agriculture. It means billions and billions less for modern kindergartens, roads, and introducing innovation into the Polish economy. Today, effectiveness in foreign policy is measured by the amount of euros we bring to our country. We promise to bring 100 billion more to the country – stated Borys Budka during the TVP election debate.

- We must increase the funds allocated to healthcare to 7.2% of GDP. We must train more doctors and nurses. The Left promises 50,000 more doctors and healthcare professionals - said Andrzej Rozenek during a TVP debate.

- PiS was the pioneer in introducing transparency to public life, including the transparency of politicians' assets. We established the Central Anticorruption Bureau (CBA), and in this parliamentary term, we finally passed a law guaranteeing the transparency of assets belonging to the families of politicians and the most important state officials. Our competitors from Civic Platform (PO) did not support this law. They were either against it or abstained from voting. Today, they talk about alleged scandals in the PiS government. What differentiates us from our competitors is that we unceremoniously remove any of us who stray from the straight path, the path of honesty, from politics. We do not protect our colleagues, unlike how they protect their colleagues from PO and the Polish People's Party (PSL). Just as PSL defended Jan Bury, and PO defends Neumann or Gawłowski today. These are not our standards. Our standards are honesty, openness, and transparency. And this is how we will act in the future – stated Jacek Sasin during a TVP election debate.

- Healthcare is in a collapse. Probably everyone among us has someone in their family suffering from cancer. And I would like to show you the bill. This is the bill, the receipt of shame for this government. PLN 2,000 for a child after a transplant, which parents have to spend just because this government, instead of funding healthcare, prefers to spend money on minister bonuses - stated Borys Budka during a TVP election debate.

Credibility matters in politics. In 2011, Jarosław Kaczyński promised that per-hectare subsidies would be equal as in the EU. It is 2019, and Jarosław Kaczyński is promising it again. We advocate for the equalization of these subsidies – said Borys Budka during a TVP debate.

- PiS, by pursuing an aggressive policy towards Brussels, is unable to achieve anything there. The dispute over the rule of law in Poland could result in Polish farmers receiving no subsidies at all. - In foreign policy, there are no sentiments, only interests. We are focusing on good relations with our neighbors and sovereignty in our relations with Brussels. That's why we will withdraw from the climate pact - Jacek Wilk stated during a debate.

We don't need any opposition pacts, this propaganda we just heard from the opposition politicians. I will speak about facts, and the facts are that during our 4 years in government, the number of doctors and nurses has clearly increased. Doctors by 11,000, nurses by 20,000. Additionally, doctors today are much less likely to leave to work abroad than during our predecessors' rule. Regarding nurses, 30% of nurses who graduated from schools during the PO-PSL government did not take up the profession. In 2018, for the first time, 100% of nurses who graduated from schools took up work as nurses and midwives. We have increased the number of places in medical studies by over 3,000. From just over 6,000 to over 10,000. We are significantly increasing healthcare spending. This year we exceeded PLN 100 billion. Next year - PLN 120 billion. And within the next term, we will double the spending that was during the PO-PSL government - stated Jacek Sasin during a TVP election debate.

- Thinking about the future, my children choose the Left. My children want Poland to be safe, to be a state of equality, where everyone is different, and all are equal. That is why I appeal to you. Honestly, I'm not surprised at all that the leader of the PSL, a party that is supposedly a peasant party, has no clue about the current state of direct subsidies for Polish farmers. The PSL has completely detached itself from the matters of the countryside and agriculture. It is untrue that the PSL equalized the level of subsidies to the European average, as was just stated. Today, a Polish farmer receives a subsidy of 216 euros, while the European average is over 260 euros. In Germany, it's 270, and in the Netherlands, it's even 450. Here, I want to say this very clearly, we guarantee Polish farmers today that within the next 2 years, we will achieve the equalization of these subsidies. We are now entering the period of negotiations for the new budget. We have a great success in the form of Poland being indicated as the country responsible for the portfolio of the EU Commissioner for Agriculture. Janusz Wojciechowski, who is our commissioner, our candidate for commissioner, will see this matter through to the end – stated Jacek Sasin during a TVP election debate.
