- The minister [Piontkowski] announces [raises]. The only problem is that the minister of finance and the prime minister don't see them in the state budget. We've asked the minister repeatedly how he intends to fulfill this declaration of a 6% raise. Minister Kopeć says that 5% from January has already been shifted to September. There are no funds in the state budget for 2020. I asked the deputy minister of finance about this at the Social Dialogue Council, and he absolutely evaded answering this question - said Sławomir Broniarz in an interview with Beata Lubecka on the program "Gość Radia ZET".

„Many local government officials, deriving from or directly members of Civic Platform, have joined the nationwide, pre-election political struggle. It is worth recalling, when we talk about local government finances, that local governments, thanks to the sealing of the tax system, thanks to the fact that there is more money in the budget and it is collected better, have received billions more. Therefore, the question is, what are these funds being spent on” - Minister Michał Dworczyk said on Polskie Radio Jedynka.

"Civic Platform is a party that divides Poles today. This was very clearly echoed in the recent statements of PO politicians. Yesterday, a bizarre statement was made by one of the PO candidates, who said that Poles with access to digital television are educated, sensible people who vote for Civic Platform, while those who do not watch this television are uneducated and vote for PiS," said Minister Michał Dworczyk on Radio Jedynka.

The premiere of a new PiS political advertisement is scheduled for this morning at the Kultura cinema, 300POLITYKA has learned. The invitation to the media only states that a briefing by campaign manager Joachim Brudziński is planned. According to PiS campaign strategists we spoke with, this advertisement is intended to be one of the main messages of the campaign.

PiS has released very well-received productions during this campaign – for example, the spot featuring a young man on a bench, humorously commenting on the right-wing's rivals.

According to our sources, the advertisement promises to be intriguing, executed in a completely innovative format, and aims to mobilize voters who fear the opposition taking power.

According to PiS campaign strategists, this could be an election spot whose phrases will enter pop culture, much like the disappearing plush toys and products in the fridge from PiS's winning 2005 ads. Following the spot featuring a young man humorously mocking the opposition's stances, this new ad from PiS significantly raises the bar in their electoral productions for this campaign.

It was presented by Joachim Brudziński at a screening in Kino Kultura.

"This is terribly exaggerated, it's a nightmare," the voter defends himself, before "Siara" shows him a vision of continued PiS rule: "They guarantee 500+, they lowered the retirement age, Poles have gained momentum, there's still much to do, but elections aren't won by lying on the couch."

The spot aims to mobilize voters who have concerns about a potential liberal opposition government but are not fully motivated to go to the polls.

- Elections aren't won by sitting on the couch. Elections also aren't won by sitting in the cinema. On October 13th, we go to the polls - said Joachim Brudziński at the presentation of PiS's new campaign ad.

- On October 13th, we go to the polls, and I ask all of you gathered here, those who share the opinion that elections are not won by polls but by one's own activity, for such activity. Until the last day of the campaign, until the last hour of the campaign, we work, we mobilize. This ad must spread, reach as many as possible who say: 'What the heck, my vote doesn't count.' It does count; with one vote, you can decide who will be a Member of Parliament. With 1000 votes, you can decide who wins the election. - You'd really need to take some medicine here to endure what was presented. It's a scandal. How can public money be used for election advertising? Mr. President Kurski, I'd like a copy of the invoice from you for airing the PiS election spot twice on TVP. Did they pay for it? It's a massive deception. I'm addressing all viewers. Don't be deluded by TVP. This is manipulation, and this is what we will fight against. If you want Poland to look like what was presented – one big propaganda, deception, and the exploitation of public money for political purposes – then that's what you'll get. Go to the polls on October 13th, but never vote for PiS in your life, because Poland will look like TVP looks right now – stated Jerzy Meysztowicz during the morning broadcast of TVP Info.

- There is a legal provision stating that an attachment containing judges' support lists for the National Judicial Council is a non-public document, therefore the information contained therein should not be a subject of public discussion - said Sebastian Kaleta in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus's "Sedno Sprawy" (The Heart of the Matter).

- I am familiar with this ruling [regarding the publication of support lists] and I am familiar with other absurd rulings by administrative courts in recent years that disregard laws enacted by parliament. Yes, it is an absurd ruling. If the legislator enacts a provision stating that a specific document is not public, meaning it's a so-called lex specialis to the general principle concerning the Act on Public Information. This is a general principle regarding access to public information, and if it specifically states that a particular document is not public, and the Supreme Administrative Court distorts, one could say, the systemic literalness, the meaning of that provision, then it is an absurd ruling - Kaleta added.

- If we are granted the opportunity to govern in the next term, we will propose organizational changes that will better utilize the resources at the judiciary's disposal. Some kind of reorganization within the court structure should occur - said Sebastian Kaleta in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus's "Sedno sprawy" (The Core of the Matter).

„We want to talk about health, about the threats that this healthcare system brings, about everything that isn’t happening in this regard. „We commit to increasing spending – 6% of GDP on healthcare. There must be more money. This will be supplemented by funds from the European Union. What many people say is impossible, but is possible, is important – 60 minutes at the Emergency Department and 21 days to see a specialist. We know how to do it, and it will be done. We are not telling fairy tales. This is achievable. We are prepared for it, and I have a team of experts. Tomasz Grodzki is a minister in the shadow cabinet. He is not only an outstanding specialist, a brilliant scientist, but also a doctor who can work with patients. This is my first minister. I am very proud that the professor accepted my invitation. I would like Alicja Chybicka to be the plenipotentiary for the fight against cancer,” added KO’s candidate for Prime Minister, Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska.

“Because President Kaczyński avoids talking, debating with me. I understand he is afraid, because we will be talking based on arguments. I appeal for his health ministers to engage in a debate with my minister and the plenipotentiary for the fight against cancer. Poles deserve to hear what PiS has to offer in healthcare, to confront each other with arguments” - said Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, the Civic Coalition's candidate for Prime Minister, during a press conference.

"Please ask the Minister of Finance why the funds for the 500+ program were transferred so late, why the funds for 500+ in most municipalities were not transferred until the end of the year, only until August, and why only after our reminders did these funds arrive in Warsaw's accounts at the last minute. We would like to disburse these funds earlier. The question for the Minister of Finance is why were these funds not foreseen until the end of the year? Were funds for every child truly provided for in the budget? We received the money in September and of course, we will disburse it, but we did not receive funds for October, November, and December. It is natural that we are concerned about this" - said the Mayor of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski, during a press conference.

- I will treat it [the appeal] with all the seriousness it undoubtedly deserves. I assure you that I, who have dedicated every day of the last four years to preventing the evil that threatens Poland, do not need to be assured of the gravity of the situation. The decision does not belong to me alone. It also belongs to those people who have been driven out of Poland by policies implemented, among others, by Mr. Ujazdowski. It also belongs to those who are genuinely threatened by it in Poland today. None of these people should be left to fend for themselves. No one should be forced into humiliating choices. I certainly cannot do that. The debate we were denied will occur on the civic side – without the party opposition 'in its current form,' as there's no other way. It will be public, as our fundamental principles demand. A decision will be its outcome. It will happen in the coming days – wrote Paweł Kasprzak in a letter, responding to the appeal from former presidents urging some opposition candidates to withdraw from the elections.

They don't listen to experts, to anyone, not even their own coalition partner. They decided to introduce this because they are desperately looking for money. “PiS, because it cannot win in Warsaw, is looking for a way to divide Mazovia in order to gain power here. This is not necessary; there is no economic premise for such a division. We know that it was introduced in the EU that we can receive funds for Warsaw and for Mazovia. There is no need for [this division]. This is only a political decision to spoil something that works well. To spoil a place where PiS cannot win” - said Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, the Civic Coalition's candidate for prime minister, during a press conference.

„This is a classic hoax. Regarding the so-called statistical division, the money has already been allocated in such a way that both Warsaw and the regions around Warsaw can benefit from it. All that's needed is to dot the i's and, instead of telling interesting stories, let PiS get to work, lobbying in Brussels. This isn't about economic development at all. It's solely a pretext to hold early elections” – said the Mayor of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski, during a press conference.

„Local governments must have funds to carry out their tasks. I am completely at ease if the Civic Coalition wins, knowing that these funds will remain with local governments, because the entire PIT (Personal Income Tax) is to stay with local governments. If PiS wins, it will mean further draining of local governments, so that PiS's promises are fulfilled using the money of residents of large cities, of Varsovians, Poznań residents, and Gdańsk residents. We will pay for it. All these promises cost Warsaw 1.5 billion annually” - stated the Mayor of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski, during a press conference.

- We would like to make a proposal to all opposition parties to jointly sign a motion for a State Tribunal against the following individuals: Minister of Justice and Prosecutor General Zbigniew Ziobro, former Prime Minister Beata Szydło, former Head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister Beata Kempa, and Minister-Member of the Council of Ministers, coordinator of special services Mariusz Kamiński. To be able to file such a motion in the next Sejm term, we need 115 signatures. This means that solidarity beyond club divisions is needed in this matter - Robert Biedroń said during a press conference in the Sejm.

- The second matter concerns what is happening in Warsaw. President Trzaskowski is orchestrating an operation aimed at preventing the payment of the 500+ program. All funds necessary for these 500+ payments in Warsaw have been transferred to the city authorities. The last installment was on September 26th. There are no obstacles. It's purely political. Politics that, one could say, has two aspects. The most immediate one, relating to Warsaw families and children, and the one concerning similar actions in various parts of Poland. These actions are typically by local government officials from Civic Platform, and when it comes to payments for farmers, also from the Polish People's Party. And then there's the aspect that relates to the future. Perhaps the most important at this moment. Namely, this is simply a preview of what will happen if our opponents take power. What will happen to this major social program that we have implemented and will continue to pursue and develop. Perhaps this is even an attempt to test how Poles, Polish families react to this. Therefore, it must be taken very seriously. In this matter, I am acting not as the party leader, but as a Member of Parliament from Warsaw and a candidate for MP from Warsaw. As such a MP and candidate, I wanted to condemn these actions very severely and at the same time call on President Trzaskowski to cease these types of activities - stated PiS chairman Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference.

„The funding for the 500+ program is disbursed in monthly transfers to local government accounts. As early as September 19th, PLN 160 million was sent to the account of the Warsaw local government. Subsequent tranches, requested by the Mayor of Warsaw, were processed immediately. 6 million children in Poland are already benefiting from the 500+ program. Over 4 million applications have been approved and paid out. From September 27th, voivodes began transferring funds to secure the implementation of 500+ applications for October. I do not understand all the fuss surrounding 500+ and the implementation of this program in the capital city of Warsaw” – said Minister Bożena Borys-Szopa at a press conference.

„As the Minister of Family, Labour, and Social Policy, I appeal to the city authorities, especially to the President, not to use Polish families in the election campaign, which is a political game, and not to frighten them with the threat to the implementation of this flagship program of our party” – she added.

Warsaw Mayor Rafał Trzaskowski has responded to Law and Justice leader Jarosław Kaczyński's statements regarding the funding of the "500+" child benefits program. Trzaskowski, speaking on behalf of local governments, stated, "Please don't lie, local governments support and implement 500+. So far, tranches for 500+ were included in the annual plan, but it wasn't updated after expanding the program to include the first child." Local governments should have these funds in advance. The fact that PiS has made a storm in a teacup out of this doesn't particularly concern me. PiS has a problem mobilizing its voters to go to the polls, so it wants to scare them by suggesting that anyone could take away 500+” - said the leader of Nowoczesna, Katarzyna Lubnauer, on „Fakty po Faktach” on TVN24.

- He had many different kinds of ideas, but he didn't make hasty decisions. For example, it's hurtful when I hear such information, that he was an uncompromising radical. Kornel was steadfast. He wasn't radical, he was steadfast. That, it seems to me, is a big difference - said Zbigniew Jagiełło in a conversation with Bogdan Rymanowski on the program 'Wydarzenia i Opinie' (Events and Opinions) on Polsat News.

- Kornel Morawiecki believed that this authority, which had repeatedly deceived Polish society, would not honor any agreements. If it entered into any relations or negotiations, it was only to deceive us once again.
