Kierwiński:

PiS allocated more to TVP than chemotherapy; you fund Kurski's propaganda more than chemotherapy
- The drama in emergency rooms, the queues for specialists that have lengthened by a month under PiS rule, hospital debt, and drug shortages – this is the true 'five for healthcare' from PiS. And there are five times as many such 'fives'. PiS allocated more to TVP than it did to chemotherapy; you are funding Kurski's propaganda more than chemotherapy – said Marcin Kierwiński during an interview on Polsat News's "Śniadanie" (Breakfast) program.

Zandberg:

In such situations, there's a lot of empty talk and calls to remove candidates from lists. We know the law, and we know the only option is the candidate's personal resignation; otherwise, it's deceiving citizens.
- In such situations, there's a lot of empty talk and calls to remove candidates from lists. Listen, if we want it to be possible to remove someone from a list, the law needs to be changed to make it possible to take candidates off lists. Because when I see someone standing at a conference time and again, with a serious face, saying: remove this person from the list, then everyone sitting here in this studio knows what the law is and knows that the only option is the candidate's personal resignation. That is deceiving citizens - said Adrian Zandberg on "Śniadanie Polsat News".

Schetyna:

These are the most important elections in 30 years. I have no illusions. These elections are about everything.
These are the most important elections in 30 years. I have no illusions. These are elections about everything, because these are elections about whether we will be able to confirm that what happened in Poland 30 years ago, in Poland and this part of Europe, the departure from authoritarian rule, the attainment of democracy, the achievement of freedom and sovereignty, whether this is still important and possible. And this is truly the great challenge, whether it is possible to return again to what we dreamed of in 1989 and in the preceding years. Can Poland be a rule-of-law state, sovereign and an independent entity? Or must it be ruled as it is today. By the will of one man. I say very clearly: Poland will be democratic, it will be a rule-of-law state, it will be sovereign - stated Grzegorz Schetyna at the Civic Coalition convention in Ostrów Wielkopolski.

10:14

Schetyna:

Party Influence on Healthcare Means Health Isn't Protected – This is PiS Policy
Trust has been destroyed. The trust that exists between us, that must exist between people, fellow countrymen. This trust, openness, tolerance – all of that is gone today. But Polish health has also been destroyed. And I say this looking at the last 4 years. What has happened in the process of ruining Polish healthcare is visible today in every city, district, hospital, every clinic. This is PiS policy. To destroy what functions, what manages on its own. To have influence on what cannot be influenced. In reality, political, party influence on healthcare means that health is not protected, and this is PiS policy – stated Grzegorz Schetyna at the Civic Coalition convention in Ostrów Wielkopolski.

10:19

Schetyna:

Emergency Departments Face Operational Difficulties, Leading to Gigantic Queues – Now Not Just Hours, but Days

- The Provincial Combined Hospital, located nearby in Kalisz. A huge hospital with huge challenges, which has functioned well for years. Today it has enormous problems. These are the emergency departments which are having trouble functioning, where gigantic queues are forming. Not just for hours anymore, but for days. This is due to a lack of good, honest, reliable valuation of services at the emergency departments. This is what leads to the enormous indebtedness of district hospitals, but also provincial hospitals now. This is what causes the reduction, first of beds, then departments, then entire hospitals. Finally, hospitals will soon be closing. This is the policy of PiS today, a policy of ruining healthcare – stated Grzegorz Schetyna at the Civic Coalition convention in Ostrów Wielkopolski.

10:22

Schetyna:

There Must Be an Idea, and We Have It. We're Talking About ERs, Reducing Patient Admission Time to 60 Minutes. About Assistants and Work Division.

- There must be an idea, and we have it. We're talking about ERs, about reducing patient admission time to 60 minutes in the ER. We're talking about assistants and work division. About enabling doctors to make diagnoses, and all other matters to be handled by others, by assistants, by nurses. After all, this is possible. It's a matter of elementary work organization – stated Grzegorz Schetyna at the Civic Coalition convention in Ostrów Wielkopolski.

10:26

Schetyna:

We are preparing a European pilot program to combat cancer

We are preparing a pilot program for a European program to combat cancer. But also to ensure that in the budget of the next financial perspective, the 7-year one, there will be money for a European healthcare program, of which Poland will be an important part. This is a process. We will be dealing with this from the first day after the elections – stated Grzegorz Schetyna at the Civic Coalition convention in Ostrów Wielkopolski.

10:28

Schetyna:

"We spoke about the 13th pension 2.5 years ago. It's important and necessary. Seniors deserve it because we owe it to them. We must invest in the silver generation."

- We spoke about the 13th pension 2.5 years ago. I spoke about it for the first time in Łódź. It's important and necessary. Seniors deserve it because we owe it to them. We must invest in the silver generation. And we, as Civic Coalition, will do it - stated Grzegorz Schetyna at the Civic Coalition convention in Ostrów Wielkopolski.

10:32

Schetyna:

No More Smog, We Will End This

- The bill we submitted has been lying in the Sejm's 'deep freeze' for almost 3 years now, where we showed how to effectively combat smog. How to support those who are already sick. And are dying due to smog. That's over 40,000 victims annually in Poland. And this time is approaching, the end of September, the beginning of October. Soon we will be seeing these terrible, dreadful figures and numbers that will show how much smog affects all of us. That is why we are speaking so firmly and will continue to speak: no more poisoning Poles. Enough. We cannot deceive ourselves by saying it's about coal, or the energy mix. It's about everything, about our health and lives. Our parents' and our children's. This is an intergenerational issue, it concerns us all. And today we say firmly: no more smog, we will end this - stated Grzegorz Schetyna at the Civic Coalition convention in Ostrów Wielkopolski.

10:37

Schetyna:

Week by Week, Month by Month, These Scandals Have Only Increased. State Officials Are Compromising Us All. They Are Compromising Poland. We Will End This

- It started with Misiewicz. Everyone was smiling, they didn't know if he was called Misiewicz or Pisiewicz. They knew that jobs were being secured in State Treasury companies. But week by week, month by month, these scandals have only increased. Let's recall the KNF, a huge scandal, billions of zlotys lost. But soon there will be Srebrna and President Kaczyński's big investments. Then it turned out that flying on government planes is a hobby of PiS MPs and they are turning it into political fun and promotion. Finally, later the haters, Deputy Minister Piebiak, the right-hand man of Minister Ziobro, who is involved in organizing and coordinating hate. A few days' break and what do we have? A tenement house in Krakow and the head of NIK, whose colleagues look just like everyone saw on television. This is a disgrace and a shame. It is a shame that you have led to such a situation. That state officials are compromising us all. They are compromising Poland. We will end this - stated Grzegorz Schetyna at the Civic Coalition convention in Ostrów Wielkopolski.

10:46

Żukowska on Civic Platform's Ad: This Ad is More About Neoliberals' Conception of a Law and Justice Voter. This Ad Unfortuntely Helps PiS Because it Shows a Lack of Respect for People
- This ad is as shoddy as that wall unit standing in the background. The cross above the door and the earthenware from Włocławek are also not accidental. This ad is more about neoliberals' conception of what a Law and Justice voter looks like. They failed to reach actual PiS voters, which is why this ad was created. It's nice to choose actors who haven't previously advertised hot dogs, because that might have been more credible and authentic. In the era of social media, it's easy to track down who played where before and easily determine that this is not a real family. This ad unfortunately helps PiS because it shows a lack of respect for people - said Anna Maria Żukowska on Woronicza 17.

10:54

Zgorzelski to Rachon: We're Focusing on Trrivialities, Mr. Editor, Utter Nonsense. It Doesn't Interest Viewers Who Have Been Listening About the Civic Platform's Spot for Over Ten Minutes
- We're focusing on trivialities, Mr. Editor, utter nonsense. It doesn't interest viewers who have been listening about the Civic Platform's spot for over ten minutes. I am convinced that most viewers do not use Twitter and would be more interested in matters related to programs, rather than whether actors are playing in PO and PiS spots, because they have played and will play. Hate speech is unacceptable from both sides; we do not use such words, we always strive to reach a consensus. We appealed for an above-party agreement on health, and yesterday President Kaczynski confirmed this - said Piotr Zgorzelski from PSL at Woronicza 17.

11:02

Joński to Raczoń: I'm Surprised You Didn't Include 'Armored' Marian Banaś in Your Weekly Roundup; It's Been the Main Topic on the Streets
- I'm surprised that in your weekly roundup on this poll, you didn't include 'armored' Marian Banaś, because that's mainly what was being discussed this past week. At least, that's what I'm hearing on the streets – that people are asking about NIK [Supreme Audit Office] having someone who rents out premises to thugs for peanuts. This is the second installment of Woronicza [17] and there's no mention of 'armored' Marian. Things must be fantastic in the country if we're so focused on the thirteenth person on a list, and why aren't you also showing the case of Mr. Matecki from the party, who wanted to disinfect streets after the LGBT march. And perhaps the next Mr. Dominik Tarczyński, who invited President Wałęsa for a solo. I don't like it, I don't laugh at what Ms. Jachira is doing, but I haven't heard Mr. Tarczyński or the President apologize for Mr. Tarczyński. It's a pity you don't show PiS candidates, where the PiS spokesperson was ashamed of councilor Matecki and regretted that he couldn't be crossed off the list anymore. Ms. Jachira apologized, so why aren't you showing Matecki? - said Dariusz Joński on Woronicza 17.

11:09

Jaki:

If Irregularities Are Found, There Will Be No Sacred Cows. We Will Ensure Banasi's Dismissal, and That Will Be the End.

The matter should be clarified. We are not taking it lightly. Let's wait for the investigation into the asset declaration to conclude, and then we will draw conclusions. If any irregularities are found, there will be no sacred cows here. We will then ensure Mr. Banasi's dismissal, and that will be the end” – stated MEP Patryk Jaki in the TVN24 program “Kawa na ławę”.

11:10

Spychalski:

I apologize for saying this, but PO feeds mainly on the stupidity of such statements. Schetyna wants someone like this in the next Sejm
- Civic Platform in reality wants such individuals to function in public life. What's more - PO has a long tradition for many years of people conducting public activities in precisely this way: Palikot, Niesiołowski. That's why Schetyna will never withdraw his support for Ms. Jachira, because Civic Platform is essentially the only party in Poland that cares about such a strong social and political conflict. I apologize for saying this, but PO feeds mainly on the stupidity of such statements. Schetyna is someone who wants someone like this in the next Sejm - said Błażej Spychalski on Woronicza 17.

11:13

Mucha:

If there were any suspicion of illegality, President Banaś would resign

"This matter began with a request from President Banaś himself, who asked for an analysis of his financial statements," said presidential minister Paweł Mucha on "Kawa na ławę" on TVN24.

"If there were any suspicion of illegality, it would be the case that President Banaś would resign. I have no doubts about that," he added.

11:20

Leszczyna to PiS: The Symbol of Your State is a 'Hotel by the Hour' in the Finance Minister's Tenement. A Minister Who Dressed Up as a Sheriff Chasing Tax Mafias, Yet Practiced Aggressive Tax Optimization Himself

For 4 years, you have been practicing corrupt populism. Today, the symbol of your state, of 4 years of governance, is a hotel by the hour in a tenement building that belonged to the Finance Minister. This very Finance Minister, who dressed himself in the robes of a sheriff chasing tax mafias, himself practiced aggressive tax optimization, which is forbidden under Polish law. He understated the due tax and did so in agreement and cooperation with individuals involved in pimping” - said Izabela Leszczyna from Civic Platform (PO) on TVN24's program “Kawa na ławę”.

12:01

Kukiz to Czarzasty After a Verbal Exchange About Using "You": "I'm Afraid PiS Will Use This in the Campaign, That We Have a Lot in Common, or That We're in a Partnership"
“Oh, brother, how I like and respect you. You must say something,” SLD leader Włodzimierz Czarzasty addressed Paweł Kukiz on TVN24’s “Kawa na ławę” (Coffee on the Table). “Don’t you think, dear Mr. Włodzimierz, or shouldn’t you think… I’m afraid PiS will use this in the campaign, that we have a lot in common, or that we’re in a partnership,” Paweł Kukiz replied.

13:16

PJK:

If Asked About the Greatest Political Achievement of These 4 Years, One Could Say This: It's Credibility. It's the Capital We've Gained.
- If we look at these 4 years and ask what the greatest political achievement of these 4 years is, one could say this: it's credibility. It's the capital we've gained. Here behind us is a board on which our various achievements are listed. These are, in essence, the achievements of our nation, our society. These are changes that have transformed the situation of many social groups, many people, that have, at least to some extent, because there's still a long way to go in this process, restored justice in Poland. This elementary justice. And we announced this. We said we would do it, and we did it - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Szczecin.

13:22

Kaczyński on Minimum Wage Increase: 'It's Either Mistake or Malice'
Some people really dislike [the proposed increase in the minimum wage by PiS]. They say it's unrealistic or even claim it will harm the Polish economy. This is either a mistake or malice. I fear that when it comes to our political opponents, those participating in the election campaign, it is primarily malice. In Poland, we must achieve very significant economic progress and economic development in the coming years. This can only be achieved if we also have progress in the sphere of work organization and technology. And when does this kind of situation arise? When entrepreneurs modernize their organizations, reach for new technologies? When it pays off for them. And when does it pay off? When wages are high – stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Szczecin.

13:28

Kaczyński:

We Want to Achieve Greater Equality in Our Country

- We want to achieve greater equality in our country. Of course, not some communist leveling, but so that people living in different regions, doing the same work, have similar incomes. This is not yet the case, although we have moved closer to it, and so that they also have similar opportunities in other spheres, which is also very, very important and which we emphasize. Access to culture - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Szczecin.

13:32

Kaczyński Pledges Doubled Healthcare Spending, Focusing on District Hospitals and Elder Care
- I wanted to say that by the end of this term, which will begin soon, if we remain in power, if we gain social support, spending on healthcare will be twice as large, calculated by purchasing power and taking inflation into account, compared to when we took power. This is a huge change. That's 160 billion [złoty]. And there will also be a major repair program, strengthening district hospitals in particular, through renovations, various other interventions, as well as a significant process of establishing elder and dependent care centers there for people who need such care - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Szczecin.

13:41

Kaczyński:

Poland Needs a New Economic Elite Free from Post-Communist Beneficiaries

- Businessmen also face many different obstacles that can be removed and must be removed. And in business, we also have many glass ceilings that good, honest businessmen are unable to break and move higher, and we want to give them a chance. Because in Poland, energetic people, good entrepreneurial people must have opportunities. They must have the opportunity to also rise very high in areas currently reserved for post-communist beneficiaries. This must end. Poland's economic elite must be different, new. Of course, we will not take anything away from anyone. This is about competition. If those who are at the top can maintain their position in fair competition, that's fine. But this competition must exist. It cannot be that in some area, you cannot move even a few centimeters beyond a certain line because there is a certain gentleman who controls everything - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Szczecin.

- I won't name names here, because lawsuits will start, and we know what our courts are like - added the PiS leader. - There are many such areas. We need to, where there is truly no competition today, and these are situations both at the municipal level, truly small, where we have small businesses, and these are situations at a larger level, right up to the situation on a national scale. We must break through this. It is very difficult, but it is also a task for subsequent terms. This is a task aimed at building a Polish version of the welfare state. Without this, we will not regain it - he emphasized.

13:50

PJK:

The Family Must Be Defended. We Reject All Kinds of Experiments Being Conducted at the Expense of Children, Two Dads, Two Moms

- The family must be defended, and of course, it is that family which each of us simply has in our consciousness, regardless of its personal state. The family where there is a father, a mother, children, where someone is sometimes missing, because that's how life goes and we respect that, and of course, it is also a family if one person, usually the mother, is raising children. I repeat, we approach this with full respect and readiness to help, but we reject all kinds of experiments, which are moreover to be conducted and are unfortunately already being conducted at the expense of children, two dads, two moms – stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Szczecin.

13:52

Kidawa-Błońska:

We know these elections can be won, and we will win them. Little is needed for us to achieve our best historical result in Warsaw

We know that these elections can be won, and we will win these elections. Little is needed for us to achieve our best historical result in Warsaw. We are certain of this. These elections are a decision and a choice about what Poland will be. Will it be a Poland where hatred and divisions are daily occurrences, will it be a Poland where hate speech is broadcast on public television, will it be a Poland where there is no respect between Poles? We do not want such a Poland. We want to discuss Poland substantively” – stated Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, the Civic Coalition’s candidate for Prime Minister and Deputy Marshal of the Sejm, at a press conference.

13:53

PJK:

Poland Must Remain an Island of Freedom

- We must defend freedom. The imposition of these views I spoke about is part of so-called political correctness in the West. This political correctness has already transformed into a mechanism for eliminating freedom of speech, science, and opinion in many countries, thus undermining fundamental civil liberties. Poland must remain an island of freedom - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Szczecin.

13:53

Kidawa-Błońska Appeals to Kaczyński for Pre-Election Debate: 'After the election, one of us will form the new government and be responsible for the fate of Poles, so let's show we can talk about important matters'

We want a conversation. Poles want politicians to talk to each other, which is why I am appealing and asking Mr. President Kaczyński to meet and talk with me on the topics we are discussing extensively during this campaign, namely family. Because all the problems of our country are concentrated within the family” - stated Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, Civic Coalition's candidate for Prime Minister and Deputy Marshal, at a press conference.

After the election, one of us will form the new government and be responsible for the fate of Poles, so let's show that in important matters we can talk, exchange views, and demonstrate that politics can look different” - she added.

13:55

PJK:

We Will Propose Constitutional Amendments, But I Fear Our Opponents Champion Freedom Only for Themselves. True Freedom, However, They Oppose.

- Freedom must also be strengthened legally, through appropriate legislation. We will, of course, also propose constitutional amendments, but I fear that our opponents champion freedom only in their words, for themselves. True freedom, however, they oppose - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Szczecin.

13:56

Kidawa-Błońska:

PiS Leaders Evade Debates. They Don't Want to Talk. A 'One-on-One' Debate is Needed. I Still Hope President Kaczyński Decides on Such a Conversation.

PiS leaders and chiefs avoid debates. They don't want to talk, but since they often follow the opinions of Poles and polls, and since polls show that Poles care about this, perhaps they will decide on this debate with me. Because this is probably the debate that should take place, and Poles have the right to know how we envision life and what kind of Poland we envision. I would like it to be a debate and a conversation, and for us to take it seriously” - said Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, Civic Coalition candidate for Prime Minister and Deputy Marshal, at a press conference.

A 'one-on-one' debate is needed. I still hope that President Kaczyński will decide on such a conversation” - she added.

14:02

Kidawa-Błońska on the "Health Five": I Understand It Was a Reaction to Our Demands. They Are Unbelievable. They Claim to Allocate Funds for Hospital Modernization, but the Amount Is Insufficient
"We presented our program [on healthcare] because we are credible in this area. We proposed shortening waiting times at emergency departments, for doctor's appointments, vaccinations, and a program to fight cancer. We can do this; we are credible because even during our time, the shortened oncology pathway functioned and saved many lives. Yesterday's declaration [by party leader Kaczyński] is unbelievable" - said Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, Deputy Marshal and Civic Coalition's candidate for Prime Minister, at a press conference. "They are unbelievable. They claim they will allocate funds for hospital modernization, but the amount they are providing will not be enough for anything. In recent years, hospitals have fallen into significant debt due to the poorly implemented hospital network and rigid, inflexible contracts. I understand that this was a reaction to our demands" - she added.

14:03

Kaczyński:

Poland has always been a country of tolerance and will remain so. However, we will under no circumstances affirm or pursue such views and aspirations.
- Poland has always been a country of tolerance and will remain a country of tolerance. However, we will under no circumstances affirm or pursue such views and aspirations, stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Szczecin.

- We have the right to demand clear declarations on this matter from our political competitors. Because not far from here, in this very voivodeship, words about euthanasia were recently spoken, which is another step further, and euthanasia is, in some countries, a situation where a mature woman, whom her family simply wants to eliminate because she is no longer very capable, protests against euthanasia, and euthanasia is carried out and a court approves it, even though it is simply ordinary murder. The most normal murder in the world. This can never happen in Poland. And everyone who participates in this campaign has a sacred duty to speak out on this matter. If they do not speak out, if they equivocate, it means they accept such views and such tendencies and want to introduce such practices in our country - continued the PiS chairman.

14:05

Kidawa-Błońska on Banaś's Resignation: I hope we won't need to change the law, but that common honesty will convince PiS to persuade their member to step down.

"It took Law and Justice a very long time to realize what kind of person they recommended for such an important position in our country [head of NIK]. The minister himself admitted to acting unlawfully, as he spoke about undervaluing assets. This is a tax offense. He admitted it himself. I hope we won't need to change the law. Laws should not be changed based on one person. I hope that common honesty will convince PiS to persuade their member to resign from this position. I cannot imagine any other scenario," said Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, Civic Coalition's candidate for Prime Minister and Deputy Marshal, at a press conference.

14:08

Kaczyński:

The 13th Pension Will Be Introduced. I Want to Strongly Emphasize This Because Hostile Propaganda Claims It Won't. And Next Year, Perhaps Sooner, There Will Also Be a 14th Pension.

- The 13th pension [will be introduced next year]. I want to strongly emphasize this because hostile propaganda claims it won't. The 13th pension will be introduced. And next year, perhaps sooner, there will also be a 14th pension - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Szczecin.

14:09

Kidawa-Błońska:

I Support Civil Partnerships in Our Country Because All People Should Have Equal Rights. Let's Not Exclude Groups of People From Our Social Life

"I am an advocate of us all respecting each other, so that people can live as they wish. I am for civil partnerships being binding in our country because all people should have equal rights. They have the right to legal and medical protection, and to inheritance. That's how it should be. Let's not exclude groups of people from our social life. The topic of adoption is not on the table at the moment. I will always say – the most important thing in every situation, in every adoption, is the child's well-being. When thinking about adoption at all, let's first think about the child, where they live, how they live, and what they need. If politicians look at it this way, many problems will be easier to solve" - said Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, candidate for Prime Minister for the Civic Coalition and Deputy Marshal, at a press conference.

14:10

Kaczyński:

The State Cannot Be an Obstacle to Development; It Must Support It, and Currently, This Varies. Unfortunately, Courts Are the Primary Obstacle.

- The state cannot be an organism that hinders development. It must support it, and currently, this varies. And unfortunately, courts are at the forefront of these obstacles. And we will not forget about this - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Szczecin.

14:56

PMM:

We Propose Common-Sense Normalcy, Not Eccentric Moral Revolutions Offered by Our Political Rivals

We are facing a serious choice. We propose common-sense normalcy. Normalcy as Polish families living at a certain level, as good jobs, ever-increasing wages, visibly improving local infrastructure, security in our immediate surroundings. Are these not the most essential aspects of our public, social, and economic life? We are simply proposing normalcy, not eccentric moral revolutions that our political competitors offer, not some turning of the world upside down as it was before with VAT mafias, which acted like a virus on the entire Polish organism” – said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Nidzica.

15:03

Morawiecki:

If we don't want a return to that reality, or even worse, enriched by ideological revolutions and bizarre social fads, vote for those who guarantee normality.

"If we don't want things to be as they were, if we don't want a return to that reality, or even worse, enriched by ideological revolutions and various bizarre social fads, if we don't want a return to such a reality, combined with what doesn't fit Poland, these revolutions of the most varied kind, then let's vote for PiS, let's cast our vote for those who are the guarantors of normality," said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Nidzica.

15:07

PMM:

We've Put Poland Back on Its Feet. It Stands Firmly on Two Legs. We're Marching in the Right Direction, Towards Values Most Important to Poles.

We've put Poland back on its feet. It stands firmly on two legs. We're marching in the right direction, towards values most important, most sacred to Poles, such as family, work, wages, development. These are the values we are also focusing on in subsequent terms. I hope that in the upcoming one, if Poles trust us, but we will likely ask for more” – said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Nidzica.

15:10

Morawiecki:

Political Opponents Deceive Poles by Claiming Rapid Reduction of Specialist Waiting Times is Possible

"Our political opponents are deceiving Poles, misleading them by saying that it is possible to very quickly change this situation [of waiting times for specialist doctors], that waiting times for specialists will be 21 days. Everyone knows that this problem stems from one fundamental cause: a shortage of doctors, specialist doctors. During our term, from the very beginning, we undertook to change this system; we initiated admissions for 3,000 more students in the first year compared to the era of our predecessors," Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said in Nidzica.

17:16

Poland's Political Week: TVP Debate, Sejm Committee on ZUS Contributions and Minimum Wage, ECJ Ruling on Swiss Franc Loans, Final Campaign Weekend, V4 Presidents' Meeting, Candidate Hearings

ECJ Ruling on Swiss Franc Loan Holders. On Thursday, the Court of Justice of the European Union will deliver a ruling in a case concerning Swiss franc loan holders. I am in contact with the Financial Supervision Authority and I know that the situation is absolutely stable and under control," stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki when asked if a potential unfavorable ECJ ruling for banks regarding Swiss franc loans could trigger a crisis in Poland. The head of government simultaneously emphasized that "if there are any irregularities, they should be condemned, and courts have the right to issue final judgments."

V4 Presidents' Meeting. On Wednesday and Thursday, the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, will participate in a meeting of the Visegrad Group presidents in Lány, Czech Republic. The exact schedule of the visit has not yet been published.

Kaczyński:

Our opponents still possess significant media power

- I think it's worth starting this time with a certain kind of threat. A certain kind of threat that is worth talking about. Worth talking about because our opponents still possess significant media power and can propagate various, not so much truths, but rather falsehoods, very intensely and reach many, many people. Well, this threat is connected with the insinuation into social consciousness of all groups, but especially of people of more mature age who remember a lot, that all our successes, this improvement of recent years, is just something temporary. That it will be like it has been before in our history and what the older generation, and even the mature middle generation remembers. It was better, then again. Better, then worse again. Well, I wanted to say that all these narratives which are based on insinuating such a conviction that we are conducting some kind of irresponsible handout policy, are completely unfounded - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Koszalin.

- If someone wanted to maintain the claim that I am here preaching what I am preaching for subjective reasons, because I lead a party that governs today, then I can refer, for example, to the recently formulated opinion of one of the very well-known rating agencies, which maintained our rating at a good level of A-, stated that it is a stable rating, and at the same time emphasized that our economy is based on strong foundations, a strong banking system, and what I particularly strongly present, a sound economic policy. Yes, we are conducting a sound economic policy and we are successful - added the PiS chairman.

PJK:

Contrary to what they constantly accuse us of, we have strengthened Polish democracy
It can be said that during these less than 4 years, we have not only strengthened the economy, powerfully developed social policy, and reinforced various elements of our state, but also, contrary to what they constantly accuse us of, we have strengthened Polish democracy. Or perhaps I would even say more, we have built this democracy, if we take democracy seriously. Because before, there was much more ritual in it than what is the essence of democracy, and the essence is making decisions, the most important ones, by citizens. That essence was not there before; now that essence is present – stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Koszalin.

Kaczyński:

Today, it's questioned that people are born as either a girl or a boy. There are already those who have reached over 80 genders. I cannot explain it, but I read this with great astonishment.

- Today, as you certainly know, it is questioned [that people are born either as a girl, then a woman, or as a boy, then a man]. There are already those who have reached over 80 genders. I don't know how, I cannot explain it, but I read this with great astonishment - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Koszalin.

Kaczyński:

In Europe, You Can Be Repressed for Stating That a Gay Couple Won't Have Children
- Today in Europe, for proclaiming this elementary thesis, this obvious thesis, one can, for example, be fired from school, as recently happened in Scotland. You can be repressed for stating that a gay couple won't have children. The first case is in Scotland, the second in France. But there are many more such cases. This is simply a radical limitation of freedom, freedom of speech, science, and conscience. Archbishop Jędraszewski spoke about this today. In Poland, too, there are instances where people, employees of certain large enterprises, are pressured to participate in events that are completely contrary to their personal views. And we must fight against this - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Koszalin. - Today in Europe, and partly in the USA, things are simply regressing. Unfortunately, this is a widespread phenomenon today. But do we have to give in to this? Can it not be as Master Kadłubek wrote at the beginning of the 13th century, that Poles are a nation that has never yielded? We must refer to these words. Poland must remain an island of freedom - emphasized the PiS leader.
