Schetyna:

Kraków Has Been Severely Wounded by This Government. The Symbol of Krakow is Now Someone with Gangster Friends, Compromising NIK, an Institution Founded by Marshal Piłsudski

- Krakow, in recent times, has been so severely wounded by this government. Because today, as we hear and see, the symbol of Krakow is someone who, as the head of NIK, a sacred institution established by Marshal Józef Piłsudski, has gangster friends and is a disgrace. Not only to Krakow, but to the entire political class, the entire PiS class. And we say that tomorrow can be better, but everything should be better. Standards should be better, politics should be better, we all should be better - stated Grzegorz Schetyna at the Civic Coalition convention in Krakow.

10:12

Kidawa-Błońska:

I Want a Poland That is Honest, Clean, and Proud. I Want a Poland Like Wawel Castle, Not Like Banaś's Tenement House
The difference between the Poland of our dreams and the Poland currently ruled is the same as the difference between the royal castles of Polish kings and the unfortunately notorious tenement house of the President of NIK. Both are neighbours, but a vast, symbolic chasm divides them. This is the chasm between the Poland of our dreams and what we see daily. We desire an honest Poland, where honesty and the law come first, and instead, we have a suspicious hotel by the hour, tax fraud, and brazen state theft. We see gangsters adorned with gold, who are on friendly terms with the President of NIK, meeting in clandestine places, feeling immune from punishment, and in a moment, their crony will be auditing Poles and telling them if they are acting legally. This is our reality today. Should a man with gaudy signet rings on every finger stand above the law of ordinary people? Should such people tell us how to live? Decide what is honest? And set standards? I do not agree to such a Poland. I want a Poland that is honest, clean, and proud. I want a Poland like Wawel Castle, not like Banaś's tenement house – stated Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska at the Civic Coalition convention in Krakow.

10:15

Kidawa-Błońska:

Brazenness and arrogance pour from screens every day. An untouchable caste is growing, increasingly suspicious figures are joining it.

- There are a great many scandals. It's already hard to remember them all. Brazenness and arrogance pour from screens every day. The Srebrna affair, haters in the Ministry of Justice, 'Szumidła' (noise-makers/distractors) on the banking supervision committee, the flying Marshal, SKOKs (cooperative savings and credit unions), the Prime Minister's plots of land – that's a lot. An untouchable caste is growing, increasingly suspicious figures are joining it. And public money is unfortunately becoming partisan – stated Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska at the Civic Coalition convention in Krakow.

10:18

Kidawa-Błońska:

Our State Increasingly Resembles Latin American Countries, Not a European Democracy
Hatred, lies, slander. For some, these are daily tools of their work. Rewards, privileges, jobs for family and friends – this whole nepotism, they supposedly deserve it all and there's nothing to discuss. Our state increasingly resembles Latin American countries, not a European democracy. Sometimes I get the impression as if a team of swindlers raided a bank and just threw some money out the window every now and then to distract and buy time - stated Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska at the Civic Coalition convention in Krakow.

10:20

Kidawa-Błońska:

We Must Not Abandon Dreams of a Beautiful, Strong, Honest Poland. I Promise You I Will Not Give Up and I Count on You, I Call on You to Stand With Me

- In the long run, no state can withstand this. Sooner or later, it must end in catastrophe. We must not get used to it. We must not abandon our dreams of a beautiful, strong, honest Poland. We cannot just wave our hand at the Republic. At its magnificent past, at its history. We must not. I promise you, I will not give up, and I count on you, I call on you to stand with me - stated Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska at the Civic Coalition convention in Krakow.

10:24

Kidawa-Błońska:

Don't be blackmailed by 500+. It will remain anyway. Nobody will raise the retirement age either.
Don't be blackmailed by 500+. It will remain anyway. Nobody will raise the retirement age either. I will repeat what we have been saying throughout this campaign: nothing that has been given will be taken away. I guarantee it. But these cannot be reasons for us to close our eyes to meanness, incompetence, to scandals. They gave this money and it's good that they did. But this cannot mean eternal impunity, an allowance for the destruction of Poland – stated Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska at the Civic Coalition convention in Krakow.

10:30

Kidawa-Błońska:

Do people who work hard and earn over PLN 4,000 deserve a decree to lower their wages? Must increases for some truly come at the expense of others?
Those in power promise without hesitation to raise the minimum wage. This is to be their prescription for escaping the middle-income trap. How easy it is to give something by taking money from someone else's pocket. One of my interlocutors in Lublin, who has worked for years in a small trading company, told me: it's great that those who will start working soon will immediately get PLN 4,000. But I worked hard for many years to earn my 4,500. And now my boss tells me to forget about a raise because he has to build reserves and might even lower my salary by 500 PLN. Do people who work hard and earn over 4,000 PLN deserve a decree to equalize wages downwards? Must increases for some truly come at the expense of others? Do people earning the national average truly have a glass ceiling above their heads? No, they deserve for their wages to reflect the value of their work - stated Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska at the Civic Coalition convention in Krakow.

10:50

Kidawa-Błońska:

Collecting scraps of paper in the forest is very commendable, but the president can do much more for the environment

"Collecting scraps of paper in the forest is very commendable, but the president can do much more for the environment. We will certainly do it and we will start from the first day" - said Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, candidate for prime minister and Deputy Marshal, during the Civic Coalition's convention in Krakow.

11:13

Kidawa-Błońska:

On the Collapse in Healthcare, There Are No Electoral Constituencies

The collapse in healthcare. I am addressing everyone, including those who voted for PiS. In this matter, there are no electoral constituencies. I am speaking to fathers, mothers, daughters, I am speaking to everyone who worries about their loved ones or is themselves threatened by illness. No one can agree to people camping out in the emergency room for many days. No one can agree to people dying while waiting in line for a specialist. No one can agree to women not being provided with modern perinatal care. Likewise, no one can agree to parents who cannot afford the best vaccines watching their children being injected multiple times and receiving lower quality preparations” – said Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, candidate for Prime Minister and Deputy Marshal, during the Civic Coalition convention in Krakow.

11:16

Kidawa-Błońska:

Cancer Devastates Poles. It's as Cruel as War. While Many of Us Could Be Saved, There's No Time to Waste. We Must Get to Work, Right Here, Right Now.

Nearly 100,000 people annually – that's almost as if Kalisz, Chorzów, or Koszalin disappeared from the map of Poland. This disease devastates Poles. It's as cruel as war. While many of us could be saved. There is no time to lose. This can never be accepted. We must get to work, right here, right now” – said Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, candidate for Prime Minister and Deputy Marshal, during the Civic Coalition's convention in Krakow.

11:18

Kidawa-Błońska:

Don't Let Them Take Away Your Belief That ER Wait Times Can Be Reduced to 60 Minutes and Specialist Queues to 21 Days

"We know that many people, seeing what is happening in healthcare, find it seems impossible. It's hard for them to believe that wait times in the Emergency Room can be reduced to a maximum of 60 minutes, that queues for specialist doctors can be shortened to 21 days, that all Polish medical care can be at a European level. Believe it, it really is possible. Don't let this faith be taken away from you" - said Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, Deputy Marshal and candidate for Prime Minister, during the Civic Coalition convention in Krakow.

11:21

Kidawa-Błońska:

Our Dreams for Poles to Finally Enter the 21st Century in Healthcare Have Turned into a Plan. The Next Step is to Implement It

The European healthcare program can be launched quickly, but anyone who knows what illness means also knows that we have no time to lose. Our dreams for Poles to finally enter the 21st century in healthcare have turned into a plan. The next step is to implement this plan. We are ready to do so immediately” – said Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, Deputy Marshal and candidate for Prime Minister, during the Civic Coalition convention in Krakow.

Hospital Modernization Fund, Senior Care in Every County, Billion for Oncology Center. Szumowski Presents 'The Five for Health'
'We have a few priorities that we would like to propose for the next term. This is a kind of 'Five for Health'. Twice as much funding as under the PO and PSL governments for the health of Poles. This is a hospital modernization fund, including for small county hospitals – 2 billion zlotys. These are regular check-ups for every Pole in the form of a voucher that can be redeemed at any clinic. This is finally a response to the demographic challenge, to the fact that seniors need care. People who are not self-sufficient need care. Senior care will be available in every county. The last point – oncology, which we know will be a huge challenge. We are already preparing for it. A billion zlotys for the most modern oncology center in Europe' – said the Minister of Health Łukasz Szumowski during the PiS convention in Opole.

12:11

Szumowski:

Cyclic Package of Health Checks Tailored to Age and Gender, Including Genetic Tests for High-Risk Groups

Cyclically, an individual [package of health checks] for everyone, tailored to age and gender, with the latest genetic tests for high-risk groups. There is also coordinated care for seniors and individuals who are not independent” - said the Minister of Health, Łukasz Szumowski, during the PiS convention in Opole.

12:14

Szumowski:

Like Every Great Nation, We Need a Superspecialized, Excellent Research Center for the Most Difficult Patients

Like every large state, like every great nation, we need a superspecialized, excellent research center for the most difficult patients who cannot be treated within the oncology network. We are to have a good standard, very good treatment throughout Poland, but there must be one central research center that will implement new technologies within this network. We are building a new oncology center and will spend a billion zlotys on it in the next term and in the coming years” – said the Minister of Health, Łukasz Szumowski, during the PiS convention in Opole.

PMM:

We are on the verge of a social order change where entrepreneurship and solidarity can complement each other and build this new order, a social contract.
We are on the verge of a social order change, a change in order in such a way that entrepreneurship and solidarity can complement each other and build this new order, a social contract, and this is a social contract within which the fruits of growth are fairly divided and at the same time we place enormous emphasis on development, entrepreneurship, precisely, but also on those areas of public and social life that require enormous attention due to demographic changes and simply social needs. One such area, absolutely the most important one in everyday life, is healthcare – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the PiS convention in Opole.

12:28

PMM:

Money Isn't Everything. People, Patients, and Medical Staff Are Paramount.

- You might think I'll say money is the most important thing. It isn't. Of course, people, patients, and medical staff in a broad sense are the most important. These individuals, in times of scarcity and shortage – which we've experienced emerging from the Polish People's Republic and the Third Polish Republic – strive to the best of their ability to safeguard the lives and health of patients. However, regardless of this, without money, without financial shifts and reallocations, and without plugging the leaks in the healthcare system – a topic too often overlooked – we wouldn't be able to implement these profound changes, stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the PiS convention in Opole.

In 2014, PO Spent PLN 73 Billion on Healthcare. This Year It Will Be PLN 103 Billion, a 40% Increase in 4-5 Years. Next Year Around PLN 107-109 Billion, a 50% Increase from 5-6 Years Ago. Healthcare Spending Is Increasing by Half.

- It is enough to recall just two or three numbers. In 2014, the Civic Platform spent PLN 73 billion on healthcare. This year it will be PLN 103 billion, meaning a 40% increase in 4-5 years. Next year, approximately PLN 107-109 billion, which is 50% more than 5-6 years ago. Healthcare expenditure is increasing by half. This has allowed us to implement programs such as 75+, which, calculated differently from what Łukasz showed, means that every patient, a person over 75 years of age, can receive 20 packages of medications annually for which they previously had to pay - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the PiS convention in Opole.

Today Residents Earn PLN 5300 Plus PLN 700 if Criteria Met. Still Too Little, But Compare to the Unchanged PLN 3890 from Years Ago – See What We've Achieved
This is the first year today where more people have obtained their nursing license than have finished with a postgraduate diploma or master's degree. This means the profession is once again becoming attractive, which is extremely important. Younger individuals are also appearing in this profession more and more often. I remember, just a year or two ago, we were saying that the average age of nurses exceeded 50 and that we needed new recruitment. Numerically, it looks like this: we have 13,000 more nurses today than 4-5 years ago. 13,000 more ladies and gentlemen, mainly ladies, who help patients. This is real help, made possible by sealing the tax system and also addressing various pathologies within the healthcare system – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the PiS convention in Opole. - I would also like to briefly mention residents. In 2010, residents in the second priority area earned PLN 3890. In 2011 – PLN 3890. In 2012 – PLN 3890. The same in 2013 and 2014. Today, in this second priority area, residents earn PLN 5300 plus a PLN 700 bonus if they meet the recorded criteria and conditions. Of course, it is still too little, but compare those PLN 3890, unchanged for several years, to what we have managed to do in this short timeframe – added the head of government.

12:57

Kaczyński:

Free Medical Care for All Citizens; Private Healthcare to Be Supplementary
This is to be a universally accessible healthcare system, and at the same time, which I want to strongly emphasize, a public one. Private healthcare is to be supplementary. We have no intention of liquidating it or banning it. That would make no sense, and besides, in a democratic state, it would probably simply be contrary to the Constitution, but above all, we must ensure that every citizen of our country, every compatriot, receives medical service and medical support for free. That means free healthcare. These are the foundations of this vision, which has been discussed and which we want to realize - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at the PiS convention in Opole.

12:58

PJK:

Smog Must Be Eliminated in Poland. We Have the Means and the Goal. It's Also a Matter of Polish Health

- The issue of environmental protection is also a matter related to the health of Poles. Poland, in pursuing this great goal we speak of during this election campaign, which we want to achieve, must be a Poland free from these most serious threats. Commonly called smog, this smog must be eliminated in Poland. And we have the means to do so, and we have precisely this goal. It is also a matter of Polish health - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at the PiS convention in Opole.

13:06

Kaczyński on Healthcare: "This is one of those areas where broad consensus is truly necessary. We will strive for this agreement. Whether it is reached depends solely on the will of the other side."
"Mention was made of Professor Zembala, of professors who discussed and spoke about the current state, about improving the current state of healthcare. This is one of those areas where broad consensus is truly necessary. We will strive for this agreement. Whether it is reached depends solely on the will of the other side. We are ready,'' said PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński during the party's convention in Opole.

13:06

Kaczyński:

We Will Absolutely Not Allow Healthcare to Become a Sphere of Exploitation

"We will absolutely not allow this sphere to become a sphere of exploitation, a sphere where it's not about the patient but about money. To reject this way of thinking about healthcare, often personified by various well-known statements from Mrs. Sawicka, once and for all, we must do one more thing, from a completely different domain. This is about pure politics. We must win the elections on October 13th" - said PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński during a convention in Opole.

13:09

PJK:

The Healthcare System Problem Will Take Two, Maybe Even Three Terms. Those Promising Change Within One Year or One Term are Lying.

- The problem with the healthcare system will take another two, maybe even three terms. Those who promise something within one year or one term are simply lying - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at the PiS convention in Opole.

- I will recall the promises from 2007. The spots, perhaps remembered by some of you. When Civic Platform promised that Polish citizens would be treated by well-paid Polish doctors, and this was even shown in various videos. We all know how it turned out. Well, we have no intention of misleading anyone. Progress will be rapid, but the ultimate goal is a goal that we must spread over years. But we will achieve it, we will ensure that Polish healthcare reaches the highest global level - added the PiS leader.

15:04

PMM:

The Polish Welfare State Model Means Good Cooperation Between Different Dimensions of Economic, Social, Public, and Financial Life

Everything we have done so far can be summarized in a nutshell as doing our best to make Poland a welfare state. A Polish model of the welfare state. This is the title of our program. It means good cooperation between different dimensions of economic, social, public, and financial life. In particular, it can be summarized as the harmonization of two great dimensions – the value of solidarity, but also the entrepreneurship so highly valued in Wielkopolska, of taking matters into one's own hands” – said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Leszno.

15:15

PMM:

We Changed Remuneration Rules, Increased Recruitment Levels for Nurses, and Today Have More People Willing to Enter the Profession

Today we have 15,000 more nurses than a few years ago. Just 2-3 years [ago], everyone was worried, articles in the press said that the number of nurses was falling. We changed the remuneration rules, increased the recruitment levels for nurses, and today we have more people willing to enter the profession than certificates obtained this year” - said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Leszno.

Nitras Responds to Gowin: We Know How to Apologize When We Make a Mistake. And You? Did You Apologize for TVP and What They Did to the Adamowiczs? You Only Managed Not to Rejoice Once

Sławomir Nitras responded to Jarosław Gowin's letter to Civic Platform (PO) members. - We know how to apologize when we make a mistake. And you? Did you apologize for TVP and what they did to the Adamowiczs? You only managed not to rejoice once - said Nitras, adding: - Don't dress yourself up as a moralist, because it looks pathetic.

Ziobro's Prosecutors Did Nothing About the Nooses in Katowice. Now They've 'Hanged' an MP

Cezary Tomczyk published an image of PO MP Artur Gierada, who is running on the KO list in Kielce, hanging from a tree.
