At 9:30 AM, the Civic Coalition will hold a convention in Sosnowiec with the participation of KO's candidate for Prime Minister, Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, and PO chairman Grzegorz Schetyna.

At 10:15 AM, The Left will convene in Gdynia, with participants including Adrian Zandberg, Włodzimierz Czarzasty, and Robert Biedroń, as well as list leaders in Gdańsk and Gdynia – Beata Maciejewska and Joanna Senyszyn.

At 12:00 PM, a convention will take place in Katowice with the participation of PiS chairman Jarosław Kaczyński, where details of changes concerning ZUS (Social Insurance Institution) are expected to be presented, as announced by PiS politicians for several days. As we wrote on 300POLITYKA, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki will announce the "Five for Entrepreneurs." The five-point plan – according to the version seen by 300POLITYKA – includes, among other things, the so-called 500+ for companies, meaning a reduced ZUS contribution for small entrepreneurs. Another convention with the participation of the PiS chairman will be held at 4:00 PM in Wadowice.

At 2:00 PM in Warsaw, the Confederation will hold a convention where, among other things, its full election program will be presented. Today, PSL-Koalicja Polska candidates will also sign the "Pact for Health" and call for other electoral committees to sign the pact. Conferences on this matter will be held in 12 cities – in Warsaw at 10:00 AM.

Meetings with the participation of Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki will take place at 3:30 PM in Ruda Śląska, at 4:45 PM in Mysłowice, and at 6:00 PM in Bieruń.

Schetyna:

How can those who have been importing coal from Russia for years be credible? Where is their credibility, these promises where they say they will fight for Polish mines and Polish coal? They are simply unbelievable.
In recent weeks and days, we see how much the ruling team is interested in this region, Zagłębie, Silesia. How often they come here, how much they have to say, how many promises they make. I have the impression that Prime Minister Morawiecki has moved here and already forgotten that he actually works somewhere else. But perhaps it has to be this way. If one wants to level this difference or lack of interest over many, many years in this region, in this voivodeship. We talk about how important Silesia, Zagłębie, the Silesian Voivodeship are. But how can those who have been importing coal from Russia for years be credible? That's over 20 million tons for over 7 billion. Where is their credibility, these promises where they say they will fight for Polish mines and Polish coal? They are simply unbelievable and today we are saying this clearly – stated Grzegorz Schetyna at a convention in Sosnowiec.

10:02

Schetyna:

An Unreliable Team with Empty Platitudes and Empty Promises. I hope, I am convinced, that on October 13th everyone will see this up close. Especially here, in Zagłębie and Silesia.

- Can those who promise to fight for the climate, for clean air, to fight smog, be credible, when they squander, waste about PLN 30 billion, which the European Commission provides for this purpose? This is not credibility, this is their policy. A policy that consists of one side making promises, and the other side failing to fulfill them. An unreliable team with platitudes, empty platitudes, and empty promises. I hope, I am convinced, that on October 13th everyone will see this up close. Especially here, in Zagłębie and Silesia - stated Grzegorz Schetyna at a convention in Sosnowiec.

10:04

Schetyna:

We have 52 women in the top three spots. They have 25. 88 women in KO's top five, and PiS has 48. That's the difference.
Can this team be credible when it talks about women? After all, there hasn't been a more anti-women governing team than this last one. Because let's look at what our opponents' electoral lists look like. Compared to Civic Coalition. After all, it's us with 52 women in the top three spots. They have 25. 88 women in KO's top five, and PiS has 48. That's the difference. It's a difference in respect, in attitude towards women and their presence in public and political life – stated Grzegorz Schetyna at the convention in Sosnowiec.

10:06

Schetyna:

We Will Talk About Respect for Women, IVF, and Perinatal Care – Issues the Ruling Party Has Forgotten

- We will talk, as we remind ourselves every day, about respect for women. About the in vitro method. About perinatal care. About all those things that the ruling party has forgotten today. And we will remind them every day – stated Grzegorz Schetyna at the convention in Sosnowiec.

10:12

Kidawa-Błońska:

We've already had wars with judges, teachers, doctors, and now a war with employers and workers is beginning
In this very city, people know well the value of work and the bitterness of its loss. Whole factories used to collapse here, and others mass-laid off employees. If you have forgotten about these thousands of family dramas, that's good, but if you think it will never happen again, then I will tell you that the internal wars the ruling party is constantly preparing for us are not a dream. They are truly happening. We've already had wars with judges, teachers, doctors, and now a war with employers and workers is beginning. Their independence has become a thorn in the side of the rulers. The government has found itself another enemy, and this is where I see our task. We are here to prevent this war, and that's why we will win these elections – stated Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska at the convention in Sosnowiec.

10:18

Kidawa-Błońska:

A War with Employers and Workers Will End in Disaster for Us All

- A war with employers and workers will end in disaster for us all. Simply put, people who work understand their value and do not fit into the new system. In the new order, one's own person cannot think that they owe anything to themselves. They are to feel subordinate, not free. They are to be at the mercy of good masters, not receive what they are simply due. The authorities are relying on those they can make dependent on social assistance paid by offices. They just don't understand that if there's no one to earn for it, there will be nothing to distribute. And in the end, the poorest will once again be left to themselves - stated Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska at a convention in Sosnowiec.

10:20

Kidawa-Błońska:

Nothing given will be taken away. Social aid must be maintained and even expanded. This doesn't have to happen at the expense of middle earners. It cannot be at the expense of people who work.

- To be clear. Nothing that has been given will be taken away from people. I repeat this once again because I keep hearing this question at meetings, you keep asking about it. Social aid must be maintained, and even expanded. But this doesn't have to happen at the expense of middle earners. It cannot be at the expense of people who work. Not at the expense of those who support our entire country – stated Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska at a convention in Sosnowiec.

10:23

Kidawa-Błońska:

If the Government Supports the Economy, Not Propaganda, Minimum Wage Could Soar to PLN 5000 or More – Driven by Growth, Not PR Calculations

- The first shots of this war have already been fired. These are radical changes in ZUS (Social Insurance Institution) that will hit employers, and self-employed individuals the hardest. A minimum wage decreed for years to come will lead many companies to bankruptcy. To be clear: if the government supports the economy, not engages in propaganda, the minimum wage could soar even to PLN 5000, or even more. But this must stem from growth, an economic calculation, not a calculation by PR professionals – stated Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska at a convention in Sosnowiec.

10:28

Kidawa-Błońska:

Will Hatred and Ideology Replace Common Sense? Does Today's Government Not Understand That Private Companies, Small and Large, Will Collapse?

- I spoke with various people, including entrepreneurs. And you know what? The smallest ones are truly terrified. They fear bankruptcy. Most are already planning to build reserves at the expense of wages and investments. Everyone is ruling out raises for current employees. Some are thinking about layoffs. Some about lowering salaries. I understand and know that the minimum wage needs to be raised, that people need to earn more. But not at the expense of those who earn average wages, specialists, those who earn around the national average and have it thanks to their tenure, experience, and skills. Of course, someone starting a new job should receive a decent salary, but perhaps not necessarily immediately as much as someone who has been working at the company for many years. I wouldn't be surprised if the labor market suddenly starts to see a mass replacement of specialists with worse, but cheaper workers. Is this what the rulers intend? Do they really want to punish entrepreneurs? Will hatred and ideology replace common sense? Does today's government not understand that private companies, small and large, will collapse? Millions of women and men work in them, and they will not all go to State Treasury Companies. Besides, it's already very crowded there - stated Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska at a convention in Sosnowiec.

10:32

Kwaśniewski:

I Believe Our United Electorates Will Express Their Trust in the Left's Candidates

- I believe that our united electorates will give their vote, they will express their trust in the Left's candidates. I would like us, after the elections on October 13th, to be able to say, yes, the Left has returned. For the good of Poland, for the good of Polish democracy, for our common good. I wish this with all my heart and I am sure that it can happen - said Aleksander Kwaśniewski in a recording published during the Left's convention in Gdynia.

10:36

Kidawa-Błońska:

"Small Raises, Even If They Happened, Are Insufficient. We Must Change This, and It Will Be Our Top Priority. But We Won't Use Decrees."

- It's time to think about the employee who already has experience and a professional standing. After 4 years of global economic prosperity, earnings should be significantly higher and continue to grow in the coming years. But have you noticed such raises in the last 4 years? Have you felt that employees are earning as much as in Europe, that your work is finally appreciated? That your earnings correspond to your daily hard work? I know the answer. I travel and talk with Poles all over the country. I know that raises, even if they happened, were meager. We must change this, and it will be our most important task. This is our priority. But we will not achieve this through decrees. We will reduce the burdens on employers, and that is our task. Many women and men who truly work hard have the state as their employer. What about their earnings? What about the salaries of nurses, teachers, police officers, civil servants? Your raises have been squandered. Your raises are hundreds of limousines, more numerous than ambulances, they are private flights, scams, bonuses. They are expenditures on the national foundation, on troll farms and propaganda. That's where your raises went. That was squandered. But it doesn't have to continue this way. You can stop this and get your money back. Just go to the polls. You can decide what your life will look like and how you will earn - stated Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska at a convention in Sosnowiec.

10:39

Kidawa-Błońska:

I Appeal to Those in Power for Reason, for Respect for People

- I appeal to those in power for reason, for respect for people. I have the impression that some have begun to be blinded by power. If you truly want to defend the Polish family, then don't tell them how to live, but allow them to earn a normal living for themselves. Do not fear people with decent earnings, who know their worth. Do not fear a woman who can support herself independently, and do not fear a man who thinks independently. Simply do not fear freedom - stated Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska at a convention in Sosnowiec.

10:41

Kidawa-Błońska Appeals to the Government: End Current Wars, Avoid New Ones. Cooperation, Not Squabbles.
- I appeal to the government to end the current wars and not to start another. Cooperation, not squabbles. Remember this. Don't look for enemies, look for tasks. Get to work finally. After all, we know there are many problems to solve. And I don't believe in any bastions, any permanent divisions. I believe in dialogue and decency. I believe that Poland can be great only when all Poles build it - stated Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska at the convention in Sosnowiec.

10:46

Kidawa-Błońska:

I Deeply Believe a Moment Will Come When We Will All Be Together Again
I deeply believe that a moment will come when we will all be together again. I believe that the holiday table doesn't have to turn into a political battlefield every year. I believe that more connects us than divides us. If we start solving problems one by one together, if we focus on building, if we reject hatred, then anger and quarrels will evaporate. Let's not respond to hate with hate, or contempt with contempt. Let's not respond to a desire for destruction with destruction. Let's simply do our best. Let's convince people, not political opponents. Let's earn trust and never lose it, and then we will win the elections. We will win the elections, and all of Poland will win with us, without exception. Because tomorrow can be better, and I believe in this deeply, and I hope you will believe in it too – stated Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska at a convention in Sosnowiec.

11:03

Zandberg:

People Have Often Lost Hope, But It's Our Task to Reach Them, Restore Their Hope, and Convince Them to Vote

- We all have friends who have lost hope. Who have turned off the TV because they've had enough of the hatred, humiliation, enough of the venom poured out on teachers, nurses, resident doctors, on women who fought for their rights, on people who advocated for nature protection. These people have often lost hope, but it is our task to reach them, to restore their hope, and to convince them to go to the polls - said Adrian Zandberg during the Left convention in Gdynia.

11:07

Zandberg:

We Will Fight Because We Know Change, Which Few Expect, May Be Around the Corner. No Power Lasts Forever, Mr. Kaczyński

- One must never give up, no elections should be forfeited. We must fight, and Lewica will fight. We will fight because we know that change, which often few expect, may be just around the corner. No power lasts forever, Mr. Kaczyński - said Adrian Zandberg during the Lewica convention in Gdynia.

11:11

Zandberg:

We Must Modernize Our Economy So It Doesn't Harm the Environment. The Left Will Increase R&D Spending to 2% of GDP
- We must modernize our economy so that it doesn't harm the environment. In Poland, perhaps only the Left understands this. That's why we are proposing large public investments in clean energy and new technologies. A green economy, innovative technologies will not emerge on their own. Just as when Gdynia was growing here, the state must play a significant role. The Left will increase spending on research and development to 2% of GDP and we will launch a national program to support innovation, the Copernicus program - said Adrian Zandberg during the Left's convention in Gdynia.

11:15

Czarzasty:

No Power, No Party, No Government Can Rewrite History from Scratch. Westerplatte is a Place for Contemplation, Not Political Turmoil

- History is one. It happened. History cannot be rewritten from scratch. No power, no party, no government can rewrite history from scratch. Westerplatte is a place for contemplation, not political turmoil – said Włodzimierz Czarzasty during the Lewica convention in Gdynia.

11:32

Czarzasty:

The Ministry of Justice has become a 'hater farm'. What are you doing? You promised at Paweł Adamowicz's grave you would never refer to this, that you wouldn't spew hate.

- The Ministry of Justice has simply become a hater farm. What are you doing? You promised at Paweł Adamowicz's grave that you would never refer to this, that you wouldn't spew hate, that dishonest people wouldn't insult dishonest people - said Włodzimierz Czarzasty during the Lewica convention in Gdynia.

11:35

Czarzasty:

To all the haters, I won't bend. I am an eagle, I am above it all

- Enough of this hate. I have also been subjected to this hate for a week. But I say to all the haters, I won't bend. I don't care. You won't hear a single bad word about you from me. I look at you from a distance. I am an eagle, I am above it all - said Włodzimierz Czarzasty during the Left Convention in Gdynia.

11:39

Czarzasty on Wałęsa: Poland Lacks Authorities. I Appeal to PiS: Come to Your Senses. He's a Man Who Saw More Than You Currently Do

Lech Wałęsa. Poland lacks authorities. I appeal to PiS. Come to your senses. He is a man who led Poland from one system to another. He is a man who was able to see more than you currently see – said Włodzimierz Czarzasty during the Left (Lewica) convention in Gdynia.

Czarzasty to PiS: Will You Destroy All Authorities and What Will You Offer? New Idols? An Idol is an Artificially Created Figure. Regardless of What Time They Woke Up on the Day Martial Law Was Introduced

- Authorities are needed for the young generation. Will you destroy all authorities and what will you offer? Whom will you offer? New idols? An idol is not an authority, it is an artificially created figure that does not draw strength from charisma. Not from what they have accomplished. Regardless of what time they woke up on the day martial law was introduced - said Włodzimierz Czarzasty during the Left Congress in Gdynia.

11:47

Czarzasty:

'The Enemy Is Elsewhere. Look for Them There and Fight Fairly.' I'm Quoting Schetyna and Symbolically Offering a Hand. There Is No Enemy Within the Opposition.

- Grzegorz, I will quote you. 'The enemy is elsewhere. Look for them there and fight fairly.' I am quoting Grzegorz Schetyna's words and symbolically offering a hand. There is no enemy within the opposition – said Włodzimierz Czarzasty during the Left (Lewica) convention in Gdynia.

11:51

Biedroń:

Let's Make Poland Great Again. This is What a Poland for All Generations Looks Like. A Modern Welfare State

- The Green Deal for Poland is a new chapter in the history of combating climate change in Poland. Let's make Poland great again. This is what Poland looks like for today's generation. This is what Poland looks like for all generations. This is a modern welfare state – said Robert Biedroń during the Left's convention in Gdynia.

11:57

Biedroń:

It's the cross-section of a tree planted in 1918. 2017 arrived and it was cut down. This is a symbol of the current government's shame.

- This is the cross-section of a tree that was cut down under this government. A tree that has endured a great deal, because that's how strong our trees are, here in Poland. A tree that was planted in 1918. A very symbolic date. We regained independence then. A tree that survived World War II. A tree that survived 44 years of communism and the PRL. A tree that witnessed the signing of the constitution by Aleksander Kwaśniewski. A tree that entered the European Union with us. Until 2017 arrived and it was cut down. This is a symbol of the current government's shame – said Robert Biedroń during the Left convention in Gdynia.

12:39

PMM:

No Contradiction Between Solidarity and Entrepreneurship. A Solidary and Entrepreneurial State is the Path to the Future

- We do not hide the fact that the foundation of this development must also be an active state. We are not ashamed that an active state helps us navigate through difficult moments in economic life, that it helps the weakest. It is not as we were told for 25 years of the Third Polish Republic [that] the state is a night watchman. The night watchman fell asleep. His slumber cost us dearly. The state must be active. There is no contradiction between solidarity and entrepreneurship. A solidary and entrepreneurial state is the path to the future - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at a convention in Katowice.

12:46

PMM:

We Will Continue Our Dignity Revolution. Neoliberals Tell Us Raising the Minimum Wage is Unrealistic, Absurd, and Harmful to the Economy. We Know How Much It's Needed.

- We will continue our dignity revolution. Neoliberals associated with Mr. Balcerowicz, Schetyna, and Ms. Kidawa-Błońska tell us that raising the minimum wage is unrealistic, absurd, and harmful to the economy. We hear such voices coming from the neoliberal camp, who are somewhere reading their yellowed notes from 20 years ago. We know how much raising the minimum wage is needed, and consequently, all wages in the economy and in the public sector as well. This is what we have been doing to the greatest extent for many years. In next year's budget, we have planned at least a 6% increase for the public sector - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at a convention in Katowice.

- During the times of Civic Platform, Mr. Grzegorz Schetyna, and Ms. Kidawa-Błońska, there were no raises for the public sector. Where is the credibility, I ask? On whose side is the credibility? Of course, credibility is on the side of PiS and United Right - the head of government continued.

13:01

PMM Presents 'Pact for Entrepreneurs':

We Will Bear This Cost for the Budget, Because We Have an Efficient, Just State.
Among the points for entrepreneurs, we have things like 500 PLN for all small, tiny, smaller, micro companies, small entrepreneurs. This 500 PLN is an average relief in ZUS payments. A relief of a magnitude never seen before, where for entrepreneurs with revenues up to PLN 10,000 per month, PLN 120,000 annually, and income up to PLN 6,000 per month, on average, depending on income, they will receive relief on this lump-sum ZUS - said Mateusz Morawiecki during the PiS convention in Katowice.

On the second point, I say clearly. The lump-sum ZUS remains as it was until now for all entrepreneurs who earn above PLN 10,000 in monthly revenue - the prime minister continued.

We are raising the flat-rate (for PIT settlements) from the current amount of approximately PLN 1 million, over – because it’s over EUR 250,000 – to the level of EUR 1 million, and soon EUR 2 million. This is a cost for the budget of approximately PLN 1 billion - he added.

We are raising the possibility of settling at 9%, one of the lowest CIT taxes in Europe, from EUR 1.2 million to EUR 2 million, which is also about PLN 8.5 million. A significant improvement for tens of thousands of companies. Even more money for investments. Indeed, there is a certain cost for the budget, but we will bear this cost for the budget, because we have an efficient, just state - the prime minister stated.

Finally, for all companies, including small and medium-sized ones, that want to invest in innovative processes, we are allocating over PLN 1 billion within the strategic investment support program - Morawiecki said.

13:04

PMM:

We are the Guarantee of Normal Development

- Today, PiS is the foundation of normal development. We are the guarantee of normal development. This comparison of a few broken windows with the permanent, regular plundering of the Polish state, amounting to 30 or more billion zlotys, should resonate with the hearts and minds of Poles. That is why we are trying to break through with this message, why we must be engaged, and explain it, because it is the foundation of development. The primary source of our economic successes is the effective sealing of the financial system – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at a convention in Katowice.

13:04

PM on the Opposition: They Masterfully Squandered Those Years. Those 8 Years. And They Also Squandered These Last 4 Years. They Did Not Develop Any Coherent Development Program.

- We must talk to everyone, get this truth about the past 4 years, about the previous 8 years, into the consciousness of Poles, because they masterfully squandered those years. Those 8 years. And they also squandered these last 4 years. They did not develop any coherent development program. And we are presenting this development program, revealing its details every week - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at a convention in Katowice.

13:05

Morawiecki:

We Must Break Through with a Credible Message, Because the Media's Power and Deception Reminds Me of the 1980s, and That's a Bad Thing

- We must break through with a credible message, because the media's power and deception, which sometimes reminds me of the 1980s, is a bad thing, and only our voice, our common voice, will be able to break through this falsehood - said Mateusz Morawiecki during the PiS convention in Katowice.

13:08

PMM:

Their credibility is less than zero. Today they talk about lowering the tax wedge, while they themselves increased the tax wedge for all entrepreneurs.

- Their credibility is less than zero. Today they talk about lowering the tax wedge, while they themselves increased the tax wedge for all entrepreneurs. Small, medium, and micro - said Mateusz Morawiecki during the PiS convention in Katowice.

13:09

PMM:

Let's not be swayed by these siren songs, because Poland is free today and it's time for us to be a great, proud, and strong nation
We want to be free, strong. We are a free and strong nation. Our fate is in our own hands. Dear countrymen, our fate is in the hands of October 13th. Do we want this development that offers huge opportunities to all Poles, or rather one that primarily serves interest groups? Let's not be swayed by these siren songs, because Poland is free today and it's time for us to be a great, proud, and strong nation - Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki stated at the convention in Katowice.

13:11

PMM:

PiS Believes in Polish Entrepreneurs, and the Credibility of Our Promises is the Foundation for Good Development That Serves Everyone

- Dear compatriots, dear entrepreneurs. I signed this pact because I believe in you. PiS believes in Polish entrepreneurs, and the credibility of fulfilling our promises is the foundation for good development, development that serves everyone. It serves Polish employees and it serves Polish entrepreneurs. It serves Poland – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the convention in Katowice.

13:18

Szydło:

Mining Must Be Modern, But It Must Continue

- Mining must change, it must be modern, modern coal technologies, but it must continue. Today, after four years of governance, it can be said that we have kept our word. Polish mining is safe and is developing - said Beata Szydło during the PiS convention in Katowice.

13:26

Szydło:

The 500+ Program Was a Breakthrough Because It Stimulated Consumption. It Gave People Faith That They Could Safely Think About Their Future

- We achieved something incredible. Until now, everyone said that social programs are a cost, that the state budget cannot bear such broad social programs. We most often talk about the 500+ program, but it was a breakthrough because it stimulated consumption. It gave people faith that they could safely think about their future - said Beata Szydło during the PiS convention in Katowice.

13:37

PJK:

Balcerowicz Received a Letter from FSO Management Asking for Help. He Threw it in the Bin and Stated All Ministers Should Do the Same

- The Prime Minister mentioned an event that occurred in connection with Prime Minister Balcerowicz. Namely, he received a letter from the management of FSO in Warsaw asking for help. He threw it in the bin and subsequently stated that all ministers with such letters should do the same – Jarosław Kaczyński said during the PiS convention in Katowice.

- Remember. They were appealing to something that was anachronistic, crude, which was essentially social Darwinism, in the worst sense of the word. Such a model was being constructed in Poland – added the PiS leader.

13:43

Kaczyński:

Despite Opponents' Sheepish Disguise, the Wolf's Jaws Are Still Audible

- The future lies before us, and the question is whether this future will be a continuation of our plan, our policy, or a regression to all that has been. Our opponents, although they have recently tried to disguise themselves in sheep's clothing, and have recently tried to do so with the help of a certain elegant lady, the wolf's jaws are still audible from behind her figure. This wolf has a specific name. I will not mention it here, and we hear it, as if, for instance, today in Sosnowiec, all these stories. Stories that have nothing to do with reality. Stories that are meant to frighten, that are another attempt to manipulate, to manipulate Poles precisely through fear - said Jarosław Kaczyński during the PiS convention in Katowice.

13:47

Kaczyński:

Balcerowicz's Reforms Survived Thanks to Ordinary Poles Creating 6 Million Jobs

- Remember that when Mr. Balcerowicz introduced his concepts, which I have mentioned here, the Polish economy, despite terrible losses and the suffering of many people, survived only thanks to ordinary Poles creating 6 million new jobs. Because without that, the entire system would have blown up. Unemployment, which actually amounted to more than 3 million, as so-called 'chłoporobotnicy' (farmer-workers) who owned even a small plot of land were not counted as unemployed. Including these few million people who did find work, it would have reached around 10 million. Perhaps I am simplifying here, but nevertheless, the entire system would have simply collapsed. It did not collapse; there was some economic growth precisely because of this bottom-up initiative. However, it remained an extremely inefficient and extremely unjust system. It was a system that served the few. It was a state that – as my late brother used to say – was strong against the weak and weak against the strong. And we are changing this. We are changing it consistently – stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a convention in Katowice.

13:55

PJK:

Our Plan is a System of Diverse Measures Across Various Fields That Combine Developmental Potential
Our plan is, in the truest sense of the word, a system. A system of diverse measures across various fields that combine, not create, this developmental potential. This drive. Everything that makes us move forward – said Jarosław Kaczyński during the PiS convention in Katowice.

13:59

PJK:

Poles Must Know They're Choosing Between a New Poland and Backward Post-Communism

- These final weeks of the campaign are so important. Because we must oppose this attempt to reverse how Poles assess reality. We must do everything possible in this direction. We must reach as many of our countrymen as possible. We must tell them the truth. We must ensure that Poles going to the polls know what they are choosing between. Because they are choosing between a new Poland, development, a Polish version of a welfare state, an effective pursuit of the EU's standard of living, and a step backward. Post-communism. Simply, late post-communism. Because there is no other concept there, nor can there be. It cannot be, because such are the connections, the conditions, and these are conditions that are, to a significant extent, internalized, meaning embedded. Meaning, these people truly think this way. They are convinced they are right. They have detached themselves so much, broken away from reality, that they are convinced they are right. They are not right, we are right, and we have confirmed this rightness by creating this good time for Poland - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at the convention in Katowice.

Polls are good, but polls don't win elections. We can win them, we must win them

- This is the stake of these elections. The future of Poland. A future we must fight for today - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a convention in Katowice.

- I wanted to ask you to campaign for votes, for every vote, until midnight on October 11th. Because remember, one vote can decide whether someone becomes a Member of Parliament or not. And a thousand or two thousand votes can decide whether we govern or not. And we must remember this. Polls are good, but polls don't win elections. We can win them, we must win them. We will win - continued the PiS leader.

13th, 14th Pension for Our Seniors, Pensioners. They Must Live with Dignity. Not for SB Officers
The whole of Poland deserves a dignified life, and that's why we demonstrate this at every turn, with every economic action. The dignified life of Poles must be secured. The 13th pension, I'm not superstitious, but that's also why the 14th pension. For our seniors, our pensioners. They must live with dignity. Not for SB officers – said Mateusz Morawiecki during a meeting with residents of Ruda Śląska.

Poland's Energy Security Relies on Current Energy Infrastructure. We Will Take Care of It.
Poland's energy security is based on its current energy infrastructure. We will take care of it. Every gigawatt of power that is phased out here from Silesia will be replaced by a new gigawatt of power being generated in Silesia. Silesia is the industrial heart of Poland - said Mateusz Morawiecki during a meeting with residents of Ruda Śląska.

Kaczyński:

Our opponents claimed our proposals were a dream or a deception. It was neither.

- Our opponents claimed it was impossible, that there would be no funds for it, that the development they proposed and the ideology they espoused were essentially the only option, that there was no other way to be in Europe. In short, they said that what we proposed was either some kind of dream or simply a deception. It was neither a dream nor a deception. We did it - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a convention in Wadowice.

Kaczyński:

We Know How to Govern; Economy Grew Rapidly Under Our Rule, and is Doing So Again

- Many claimed that when we came to power, much like in 2005 when we first governed, the economy would suffer some negative shock. I recall that in 2005, it was announced that if we took power, a liter of fuel would cost 7 PLN in a short time. All of it turned out to be untrue. At that time, the economy was growing at a very rapid pace, I'm referring to the years 2005-2007, and even still on momentum in 2008, although we were no longer governing then. And so, albeit in different, much more difficult conditions, after the great crisis, it is also the case now. We simply know how to govern – stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a convention in Wadowice.

- We are increasing wages, we are increasing funds, today it's already over 80 billion PLN in additional funds for social policy, and at the same time, we are improving the state of public finances. We are reducing the level of debt, and next year we are to have a balanced budget – continued the PiS chairman.

Kaczyński:

The Polarization-Diffusion Concept Has Never Worked Anywhere; The Civic Platform Never Invents Anything, They Just Copy From Abroad

- We reject the concept that Poland should develop in metropolises, and elsewhere it's up to God. This concept, known as polarization-diffusion, has completely failed in Poland. It was promoted by representatives of the Civic Platform, and I can tell you that it has never worked anywhere in the world, because it's not like it was invented in Poland. I generally don't recall the Civic Platform inventing anything. They always take something from abroad, but it completely fails - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a convention in Wadowice.

We Act in the Name of Development, But Also in the Name of Entrepreneurs' Interests
- We are attacked because of this [announcements of raising the minimum wage to PLN 4,000 in the long term]. Just today in Sosnowiec, such grim visions were being spun. What won't happen, what misfortunes won't befall Poland because people will earn more. Well, development must occur through investment, and through investment in new technologies and a new organization of work. Without this, there is no economic progress. And when is this done? When labor is expensive. When it is cheap, it simply isn't worthwhile. And development must be worthwhile, also for entrepreneurs. We act in the name of development, but also in the name of entrepreneurs' interests – stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a convention in Wadowice.

Don't believe it when PO says they'll maintain everything. It's not enough to say it. You also have to be able to do it.
Don't believe it when political competitors, Civic Platform, say they will maintain everything. It's not enough to say it. You also have to be able to do it - said Mateusz Morawiecki during a meeting with residents of Mysłowice.

A Family Cannot Consist of Two Dads or Two Moms. Only a Mother and Father
I hope, if we win these elections, that all these attacks on our fundamental values will end. This attempt to blow up our society, our nation, along with its foundation, and that foundation is the family, will end – stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a convention in Wadowice. Although I know it's unfair, quoting a certain poet, I will say that a family cannot consist of two dads. Nor two moms. Only normally. A mother and a father. Well, sometimes someone might be missing, that is obvious – added the PiS chairman.

We allocated nearly another PLN 3 billion to do justice to miners. This does not contradict the major demands from the EU regarding climate policy.

- We have allocated nearly another PLN 3 billion to do justice to miners. This is also a program of Law and Justice. A fair approach to Polish mining, Polish energy. This does not contradict at all the major demands that are coming to us from the EU regarding climate policy. Of course, we are undertaking this energy transformation, but first and foremost, energy policy must be reasonable – said Mateusz Morawiecki during a meeting with residents of Mysłowice.

Kaczyński:

Our predecessors agreed to this defamation and insult because they wanted a Poland like that, a Poland on its knees, or even worse. They wanted such a Poland because it could be exploited and robbed.
- If Polish elites, Polish ruling elites, firmly state that they will defend the truth and do not agree to this great campaign of insulting and defaming Poles, then there are successes. Then one can fight for the truth. Only our predecessors agreed to this defamation and insult because they wanted a Poland like that, a Poland on its knees, or even worse. They wanted such a Poland because it could be exploited and robbed - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a convention in Wadowice.

Those Who Don't Want Us to Win Are Also Awake. They're Constantly Preparing Something. Something's Supposed to Emerge This Evening. We Must Work Until the End.

- I believe in it [victory], deeply, just as you do, but remember that those who don't want us to win are also awake. They're constantly preparing something. Something is supposed to emerge this evening. We must work until the end - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a convention in Wadowice.
