At 9:30 AM, the Civic Coalition will hold a convention in Sosnowiec with the participation of KO's candidate for Prime Minister, Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, and PO chairman Grzegorz Schetyna.

At 10:15 AM, The Left will convene in Gdynia, with participants including Adrian Zandberg, Włodzimierz Czarzasty, and Robert Biedroń, as well as list leaders in Gdańsk and Gdynia – Beata Maciejewska and Joanna Senyszyn.

At 12:00 PM, a convention will take place in Katowice with the participation of PiS chairman Jarosław Kaczyński, where details of changes concerning ZUS (Social Insurance Institution) are expected to be presented, as announced by PiS politicians for several days. As we wrote on 300POLITYKA, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki will announce the "Five for Entrepreneurs." The five-point plan – according to the version seen by 300POLITYKA – includes, among other things, the so-called 500+ for companies, meaning a reduced ZUS contribution for small entrepreneurs. Another convention with the participation of the PiS chairman will be held at 4:00 PM in Wadowice.

At 2:00 PM in Warsaw, the Confederation will hold a convention where, among other things, its full election program will be presented. Today, PSL-Koalicja Polska candidates will also sign the "Pact for Health" and call for other electoral committees to sign the pact. Conferences on this matter will be held in 12 cities – in Warsaw at 10:00 AM.

Meetings with the participation of Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki will take place at 3:30 PM in Ruda Śląska, at 4:45 PM in Mysłowice, and at 6:00 PM in Bieruń.

An unreliable team with platitudes, empty platitudes, and empty promises. I hope, I am convinced, that on October 13th everyone will see this up close. - We will talk, as we remind ourselves every day, about respect for women. About the in vitro method. About perinatal care. About all those things that the ruling party has forgotten today. And we will remind them every day – stated Grzegorz Schetyna at the convention in Sosnowiec.

- A war with employers and workers will end in disaster for us all. Simply put, people who work understand their value and do not fit into the new system. In the new order, one's own person cannot think that they owe anything to themselves. They are to feel subordinate, not free. They are to be at the mercy of good masters, not receive what they are simply due. The authorities are relying on those they can make dependent on social assistance paid by offices. They just don't understand that if there's no one to earn for it, there will be nothing to distribute. And in the end, the poorest will once again be left to themselves - stated Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska at a convention in Sosnowiec.

- To be clear. Nothing that has been given will be taken away from people. I repeat this once again because I keep hearing this question at meetings, you keep asking about it. Social aid must be maintained, and even expanded. But this doesn't have to happen at the expense of middle earners. It cannot be at the expense of people who work. Not at the expense of those who support our entire country – stated Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska at a convention in Sosnowiec.

- The first shots of this war have already been fired. These are radical changes in ZUS (Social Insurance Institution) that will hit employers, and self-employed individuals the hardest. A minimum wage decreed for years to come will lead many companies to bankruptcy. To be clear: if the government supports the economy, not engages in propaganda, the minimum wage could soar even to PLN 5000, or even more. But this must stem from growth, an economic calculation, not a calculation by PR professionals – stated Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska at a convention in Sosnowiec.

- I spoke with various people, including entrepreneurs. And you know what? The smallest ones are truly terrified. They fear bankruptcy. Most are already planning to build reserves at the expense of wages and investments. Everyone is ruling out raises for current employees. Some are thinking about layoffs. Some about lowering salaries. I understand and know that the minimum wage needs to be raised, that people need to earn more. But not at the expense of those who earn average wages, specialists, those who earn around the national average and have it thanks to their tenure, experience, and skills. Of course, someone starting a new job should receive a decent salary, but perhaps not necessarily immediately as much as someone who has been working at the company for many years. I wouldn't be surprised if the labor market suddenly starts to see a mass replacement of specialists with worse, but cheaper workers. Is this what the rulers intend? Do they really want to punish entrepreneurs? Will hatred and ideology replace common sense? Does today's government not understand that private companies, small and large, will collapse? Millions of women and men work in them, and they will not all go to State Treasury Companies. Besides, it's already very crowded there - stated Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska at a convention in Sosnowiec.

- I believe that our united electorates will give their vote, they will express their trust in the Left's candidates. I would like us, after the elections on October 13th, to be able to say, yes, the Left has returned. For the good of Poland, for the good of Polish democracy, for our common good. I wish this with all my heart and I am sure that it can happen - said Aleksander Kwaśniewski in a recording published during the Left's convention in Gdynia.

- It's time to think about the employee who already has experience and a professional standing. After 4 years of global economic prosperity, earnings should be significantly higher and continue to grow in the coming years. But have you noticed such raises in the last 4 years? Have you felt that employees are earning as much as in Europe, that your work is finally appreciated? That your earnings correspond to your daily hard work? I know the answer. I travel and talk with Poles all over the country. I know that raises, even if they happened, were meager. We must change this, and it will be our most important task. This is our priority. But we will not achieve this through decrees. We will reduce the burdens on employers, and that is our task. Many women and men who truly work hard have the state as their employer. What about their earnings? What about the salaries of nurses, teachers, police officers, civil servants? Your raises have been squandered. Your raises are hundreds of limousines, more numerous than ambulances, they are private flights, scams, bonuses. They are expenditures on the national foundation, on troll farms and propaganda. That's where your raises went. That was squandered. But it doesn't have to continue this way. You can stop this and get your money back. Just go to the polls. You can decide what your life will look like and how you will earn - stated Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska at a convention in Sosnowiec.

- I appeal to those in power for reason, for respect for people. I have the impression that some have begun to be blinded by power. If you truly want to defend the Polish family, then don't tell them how to live, but allow them to earn a normal living for themselves. Do not fear people with decent earnings, who know their worth. Do not fear a woman who can support herself independently, and do not fear a man who thinks independently. Simply do not fear freedom - stated Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska at a convention in Sosnowiec.

- We all have friends who have lost hope. Who have turned off the TV because they've had enough of the hatred, humiliation, enough of the venom poured out on teachers, nurses, resident doctors, on women who fought for their rights, on people who advocated for nature protection. These people have often lost hope, but it is our task to reach them, to restore their hope, and to convince them to go to the polls - said Adrian Zandberg during the Left convention in Gdynia.

- One must never give up, no elections should be forfeited. We must fight, and Lewica will fight. We will fight because we know that change, which often few expect, may be just around the corner. No power lasts forever, Mr. Kaczyński - said Adrian Zandberg during the Lewica convention in Gdynia.

- Authorities are needed for the young generation. Will you destroy all authorities and what will you offer? Whom will you offer? New idols? An idol is not an authority, it is an artificially created figure that does not draw strength from charisma. Not from what they have accomplished. - The Green Deal for Poland is a new chapter in the history of combating climate change in Poland. Let's make Poland great again. This is what Poland looks like for today's generation. - This is the cross-section of a tree that was cut down under this government. A tree that has endured a great deal, because that's how strong our trees are, here in Poland. A tree that was planted in 1918. A very symbolic date. We regained independence then. A tree that survived World War II. A tree that survived 44 years of communism and the PRL. A tree that witnessed the signing of the constitution by Aleksander Kwaśniewski. A tree that entered the European Union with us. Until 2017 arrived and it was cut down. This is a symbol of the current government's shame – said Robert Biedroń during the Left convention in Gdynia.

- We do not hide the fact that the foundation of this development must also be an active state. We are not ashamed that an active state helps us navigate through difficult moments in economic life, that it helps the weakest. It is not as we were told for 25 years of the Third Polish Republic [that] the state is a night watchman. The night watchman fell asleep. His slumber cost us dearly. The state must be active. There is no contradiction between solidarity and entrepreneurship. - We will continue our dignity revolution. Neoliberals associated with Mr. Balcerowicz, Schetyna, and Ms. Kidawa-Błońska tell us that raising the minimum wage is unrealistic, absurd, and harmful to the economy. We hear such voices coming from the neoliberal camp, who are somewhere reading their yellowed notes from 20 years ago. We know how much raising the minimum wage is needed, and consequently, all wages in the economy and in the public sector as well. This is what we have been doing to the greatest extent for many years. In next year's budget, we have planned at least a 6% increase for the public sector - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at a convention in Katowice.

- During the times of Civic Platform, Mr. Grzegorz Schetyna, and Ms. Kidawa-Błońska, there were no raises for the public sector. Where is the credibility, I ask? On whose side is the credibility? Of course, credibility is on the side of PiS and United Right - the head of government continued.

- Today, PiS is the foundation of normal development. We are the guarantee of normal development. This comparison of a few broken windows with the permanent, regular plundering of the Polish state, amounting to 30 or more billion zlotys, should resonate with the hearts and minds of Poles. That is why we are trying to break through with this message, why we must be engaged, and explain it, because it is the foundation of development. The primary source of our economic successes is the effective sealing of the financial system – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at a convention in Katowice.

- We must talk to everyone, get this truth about the past 4 years, about the previous 8 years, into the consciousness of Poles, because they masterfully squandered those years. Those 8 years. And they also squandered these last 4 years. They did not develop any coherent development program. - We must break through with a credible message, because the media's power and deception, which sometimes reminds me of the 1980s, is a bad thing, and only our voice, our common voice, will be able to break through this falsehood - said Mateusz Morawiecki during the PiS convention in Katowice.

- Their credibility is less than zero. Today they talk about lowering the tax wedge, while they themselves increased the tax wedge for all entrepreneurs. Small, medium, and micro - said Mateusz Morawiecki during the PiS convention in Katowice.

- Dear compatriots, dear entrepreneurs. I signed this pact because I believe in you. PiS believes in Polish entrepreneurs, and the credibility of fulfilling our promises is the foundation for good development, development that serves everyone. - Mining must change, it must be modern, modern coal technologies, but it must continue. Today, after four years of governance, it can be said that we have kept our word. Polish mining is safe and is developing - said Beata Szydło during the PiS convention in Katowice.

- We achieved something incredible. Until now, everyone said that social programs are a cost, that the state budget cannot bear such broad social programs. We most often talk about the 500+ program, but it was a breakthrough because it stimulated consumption. It gave people faith that they could safely think about their future - said Beata Szydło during the PiS convention in Katowice.

- The Prime Minister mentioned an event that occurred in connection with Prime Minister Balcerowicz. Namely, he received a letter from the management of FSO in Warsaw asking for help. He threw it in the bin and subsequently stated that all ministers with such letters should do the same – Jarosław Kaczyński said during the PiS convention in Katowice.

- Remember. They were appealing to something that was anachronistic, crude, which was essentially social Darwinism, in the worst sense of the word. Such a model was being constructed in Poland – added the PiS leader.

- The future lies before us, and the question is whether this future will be a continuation of our plan, our policy, or a regression to all that has been. Our opponents, although they have recently tried to disguise themselves in sheep's clothing, and have recently tried to do so with the help of a certain elegant lady, the wolf's jaws are still audible from behind her figure. This wolf has a specific name. I will not mention it here, and we hear it, as if, for instance, today in Sosnowiec, all these stories. Stories that have nothing to do with reality. Stories that are meant to frighten, that are another attempt to manipulate, to manipulate Poles precisely through fear - said Jarosław Kaczyński during the PiS convention in Katowice.

- Remember that when Mr. Balcerowicz introduced his concepts, which I have mentioned here, the Polish economy, despite terrible losses and the suffering of many people, survived only thanks to ordinary Poles creating 6 million new jobs. Because without that, the entire system would have blown up. Unemployment, which actually amounted to more than 3 million, as so-called 'chłoporobotnicy' (farmer-workers) who owned even a small plot of land were not counted as unemployed. Including these few million people who did find work, it would have reached around 10 million. Perhaps I am simplifying here, but nevertheless, the entire system would have simply collapsed. It did not collapse; there was some economic growth precisely because of this bottom-up initiative. However, it remained an extremely inefficient and extremely unjust system. It was a system that served the few. It was a state that – as my late brother used to say – was strong against the weak and weak against the strong. And we are changing this. We are changing it consistently – stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a convention in Katowice.

- These final weeks of the campaign are so important. Because we must oppose this attempt to reverse how Poles assess reality. We must do everything possible in this direction. We must reach as many of our countrymen as possible. We must tell them the truth. We must ensure that Poles going to the polls know what they are choosing between. Because they are choosing between a new Poland, development, a Polish version of a welfare state, an effective pursuit of the EU's standard of living, and a step backward. Post-communism. Simply, late post-communism. Because there is no other concept there, nor can there be. It cannot be, because such are the connections, the conditions, and these are conditions that are, to a significant extent, internalized, meaning embedded. Meaning, these people truly think this way. They are convinced they are right. They have detached themselves so much, broken away from reality, that they are convinced they are right. They are not right, we are right, and we have confirmed this rightness by creating this good time for Poland - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at the convention in Katowice.

- This is the stake of these elections. The future of Poland. A future we must fight for today - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a convention in Katowice.

- I wanted to ask you to campaign for votes, for every vote, until midnight on October 11th. Because remember, one vote can decide whether someone becomes a Member of Parliament or not. And a thousand or two thousand votes can decide whether we govern or not. And we must remember this. Polls are good, but polls don't win elections. We can win them, we must win them. We will win - continued the PiS leader.

- Our opponents claimed it was impossible, that there would be no funds for it, that the development they proposed and the ideology they espoused were essentially the only option, that there was no other way to be in Europe. In short, they said that what we proposed was either some kind of dream or simply a deception. It was neither a dream nor a deception. We did it - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a convention in Wadowice.

- Many claimed that when we came to power, much like in 2005 when we first governed, the economy would suffer some negative shock. I recall that in 2005, it was announced that if we took power, a liter of fuel would cost 7 PLN in a short time. All of it turned out to be untrue. At that time, the economy was growing at a very rapid pace, I'm referring to the years 2005-2007, and even still on momentum in 2008, although we were no longer governing then. And so, albeit in different, much more difficult conditions, after the great crisis, it is also the case now. We simply know how to govern – stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a convention in Wadowice.

- We are increasing wages, we are increasing funds, today it's already over 80 billion PLN in additional funds for social policy, and at the same time, we are improving the state of public finances. We are reducing the level of debt, and next year we are to have a balanced budget – continued the PiS chairman.

- We reject the concept that Poland should develop in metropolises, and elsewhere it's up to God. This concept, known as polarization-diffusion, has completely failed in Poland. It was promoted by representatives of the Civic Platform, and I can tell you that it has never worked anywhere in the world, because it's not like it was invented in Poland. I generally don't recall the Civic Platform inventing anything. They always take something from abroad, but it completely fails - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a convention in Wadowice.

- We have allocated nearly another PLN 3 billion to do justice to miners. This is also a program of Law and Justice. A fair approach to Polish mining, Polish energy. This does not contradict at all the major demands that are coming to us from the EU regarding climate policy. Of course, we are undertaking this energy transformation, but first and foremost, energy policy must be reasonable – said Mateusz Morawiecki during a meeting with residents of Mysłowice. 

- I believe in it [victory], deeply, just as you do, but remember that those who don't want us to win are also awake. They're constantly preparing something. Something is supposed to emerge this evening. We must work until the end - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a convention in Wadowice.
