Civic Coalition's prime ministerial candidate Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska will be in the Podlasie Voivodeship. What did you expect from me? Hundreds of interviews or a decision that I made an hour after being informed by the prosecution that I was renouncing my immunity and requesting that an impartial court immediately clarify the matter based on public materials? Because court proceedings must be conducted openly, not based on snipped conversations that the Katowice prosecutor's office presented through leaks to the press - stated Krzysztof Kwiatkowski in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego". A year has passed since that court hearing. There have been many hearings in the meantime. So far, the prosecutor has not disclosed this material. You and I are still basing our understanding on snipped conversation fragments, and I maintain that the prosecution presented false charges, tailoring them to a preconceived thesis - added the former NIK president.

- I never broke the law, and during my tenure, regardless of whether Civic Platform and PSL or PiS was in power, NIK conducted audits reliably, credibly, and impartially, and everyone who observes NIK's work knows this - stated Krzysztof Kwiatkowski in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

- This decision has been made in the government. Solutions have been prepared. I want to state very clearly that this solution does not worsen the situation for the absolute vast majority of people who work or run businesses - said Jacek Sasin in an interview with Wojciech Dąbrowski on Polsat News' "Graffiti".

- Marshal Struzik is most concerned about his marshal's seat, and that's the main reason he opposes this solution, even though he emphasizes so much that it's about a local Mazovia. If there are two voivodeships, new local government elections will likely have to be held for both - said Jacek Sasin in a conversation with Wojciech Dąbrowski on Polsat News's "Graffiti".

I definitely did not break any laws, I have no doubts about it. I certainly wouldn't have such conversations today, if only because it is obvious that these questions and doubts did not facilitate, but hindered the NIK's work during the period when I was heading it. On the other hand, I can say that the excellent controllers who work there, throughout the entire period when I was heading this institution, had the comfort that no one, and certainly not the president, ever influenced their conclusions, findings, and the factual state of affairs in the conducted audits in any way - stated Krzysztof Kwiatkowski in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

This is a political voice and it is part of the election campaign, of that I have no doubt. Professor Strzembosz defined himself very strongly politically some time ago. Today, treating this voice as the legal authority of an unengaged person, a person not involved in disputes, is a misunderstanding – said Jacek Sasin in an interview with Wojciech Dąbrowski on Polsat News's "Graffiti".

My greatest ambition is to represent the people of Łódź in the Senate. I've already pursued this ambition once before, as a senator. I prepared a draft bill on the Łódź Metropolitan Union. Please find another candidate running with such a concrete program, meaning a drafted bill that says: I am running so that an additional PLN 200 million can be allocated for investments in Łódź and the Łódź metropolitan area, because if the law is passed, 5% of the PIT taxes collected in this area must remain within Łódź - stated Krzysztof Kwiatkowski in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego." - You have an unequivocal declaration from me [that if he becomes a senator, he will not seek protection behind parliamentary immunity] - emphasized the former President of NIK.

- Regarding the sphere of reparations, we naturally have work that is currently underway at the parliamentary or governmental stage. We know that the Polish parliament has also referred to Greek experiences in this regard, as there was such a meeting - stated Paweł Mucha in "Sygnały dnia" on PR1.

- It [the issue of reparations] is not closed because it is currently ongoing. Its elevation on a political level, in a sense, was President Duda's conversation, and today we are in the parliamentary work stage. So, I think these matters will be continued - added the presidential minister.

- In my assessment, these are some internal power struggles between the old and new member states of the European Union. These competencies [state aid in the agricultural sector] have been the competencies of the Agriculture Commissioner for several terms - said Marek Sawicki in an interview with Beata Michniewicz on Polskie Radio Trojka's "Political Salon".

The value of forming a coalition lies in programmatic agreement. If the Left renounces certain programmatic issues and accepts the programmatic conditions of the PSL, Kukiz'15, and UED, then of course we can talk - Marek Sawicki stated in a conversation with Beata Michniewicz on Polskie Radio Program III's "Political Salon".

- The President listens to economic experts who also advise him. Such experts are present both in the National Development Council and directly among the president's advisors, and there are no voices indicating that this level of minimum wage increase could pose any threat. Please note that in the past, in terms of percentage, the minimum wage has increased to a greater extent, and we are talking about this higher wage reaching, according to estimates for the coming year, approximately half of the average wage. The president very clearly stated in Włodawa that the main goal of his presidency is to raise the standard of living for Poles, and he spoke about the fact that this standard of living for Poles encompasses, on the one hand, the conditions, surroundings, and environment in which one operates, but on the other hand, it also includes wages and pensions. We should not be a reservoir of cheap labor. It's the case that these salaries represent a certain change already, if we look at 2015, but on the other hand, there is still a need because we would like to be European in this sense, meaning we would like to have earnings like those in Germany, France, or Italy. This standard of living is a certain perspective, but it's a perspective we should strive for - stated Paweł Mucha on "Sygnały dnia" (Signals of the Day) on PR1.

'If it hadn't been late, there wouldn't have been a surprise effect. And it was this surprise effect that prevented PiS from quickly reacting to this candidacy. It also gave us momentum for the final stretch of the campaign. It was a very good decision by Schetyna and made at the right time. This period must be worked through diligently for 3 weeks' - said Marcin Kierwiński from Civic Platform in an interview with Karolina Lewicka on Radio TOK FM's Poranek.

Jerzy Kwieciński will be appointed by the President as the new Minister of Finance on Friday before noon - 300POLITYKA has learned from government sources. Kwieciński will combine the roles of Minister of Investment and Development and Minister of Finance. Wirtualna Polska was the first to report on Jerzy Kwieciński's candidacy last Thursday.

Jerzy Kwieciński is an expert in European funds. For over 10 years, he collaborated with Minister Grażyna Gęsicka. After the 2015 elections, he became one of Mateusz Morawiecki's closest collaborators in the Ministry of Development.

- We are trying to do everything to ensure that the elections are safe, and subsequent elections, as our experience shows, will be safe, and nothing indicates that these particular elections would be especially dangerous or threatened. We are not observing any heightened disinformation activities or campaigns, although we are monitoring the situation continuously. Attempts to undertake various types of actions, not just disinformation, are ongoing. It's not as if we are an oasis of complete freedom from such threats. At the moment, we are not observing any significant escalation - stated Marek Zagórski in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus.

- We believe there should be a non-political, cross-party pact for health. With all our strength, from right to left, from the government to the opposition, we will participate in such a pact if it comes about and will act on this matter - said Wanda Nowicka during a press conference of The Left in Gliwice.

The Office of Forensic Analysis in Lublin has informed us that evidence in the case of former Prime Minister Beata Szydło's accident has been destroyed, specifically that the original surveillance recording discs of this accident have been destroyed. It is not yet known exactly by whom, but we know that the prosecutor's office, which handled this case, has, in our opinion, certainly failed to fulfill its duties. In connection with what has happened, we will file a report with the prosecutor's office concerning the actions of the prosecution and their failure to perform their duties. Something unprecedented and scandalous has occurred. Words fail us, because in a collision with the prime minister's government limousine, 21-year-old Sebastian, who is today accused of causing the accident, was at a disadvantage. In this case, evidence is being destroyed, and this young man is not being given a chance to defend himself” - Agnieszka Pomaska from Civic Platform (PO) said at a press conference in the Sejm.

- We are calling on Grzegorz Schetyna to answer the question of whether he will repay the debts of Nowoczesna and its coalition partners running under the Civic Coalition, if these debts remain unsettled? - said Janusz Kowalski at a press conference in front of the headquarters in Warsaw.

- We want Nowoczesna and its politicians, and the coalition partner, Civic Coalition, to also reveal their commitments to private entities that this party has. This is specific; we demand documents, put the documents on the table, let the documents speak - added the PiS candidate for the Sejm.

- The most important thing is for Grzegorz Schetyna and Katarzyna Lubnauer to address this and directly answer whether citizens will pay, whether Poles will pay for the commitments undertaken by a political party, whether Grzegorz Schetyna, PO-KO, will pay for the financial obligation amounting to nearly PLN 2 million - continued Jacek Ozdoba, also a candidate for the Sejm on the PiS list.

- I see people we met when my friends supported the residents of villages near Opole, back when Patryk Jaki was oppressing them. I see people we met at equality marches. I see people who fought here for decent wages among local government employees. I am very happy to see you all here and to have the pleasure of meeting you - said Adrian Zandberg during a press conference of Lewica in Opole. 

„This is an important campaign, an important conversation. We are talking about how to respect employees and employers, working people. It is worth taking care of stable regulations, which PiS does not understand. It is worth simplifying financial procedures, lowering taxes, and creating profitable investments in new jobs. We hear this every day, in every conversation, how much those who work today fear for the future, due to ill-considered, often thoughtless statements that show that PiS people, specifically President Kaczyński, do not understand the principles that must be essential for the effective running of a company” - said PO chairman Grzegorz Schetyna in Białystok.

„This is also a matter of ZUS, which must be managed rationally. This contribution must be rational. It cannot kill businesses or employees. It cannot limit market functioning, it cannot limit competition” - he added. 

"This is my appeal to President Kaczyński, that regarding those who use hate speech and incite hatred, we should together say 'enough'. This should be a joint resolution by all those who disagree with this. We do not accept such politics. I am convinced that this is the view of the majority of our countrymen. I call on PiS for firm action in this matter. I call on President Kaczyński and the Minister of Justice" - said PO chairman Grzegorz Schetyna in Białystok.

"I just finished a meeting with a family who, thanks to the IVF method, have a wonderful child. They are very happy. When I spoke with them, they told me about what they had to go through, what dramatic decisions they made, how lonely they were in this difficult situation, and if not for the support of their parents, it's unknown how their lives would have turned out. And thanks to this method, thanks to wise doctors, it worked out. I must say and guarantee that if we win the election, IVF reimbursement will return. Thanks to this method, children can be born. We must help parents. We cannot create a division where only wealthy individuals can use this method. Fortunately, some Polish local governments have followed their hearts and are financing this method" - said Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, Civic Coalition's candidate for prime minister and deputy speaker of the Sejm, at a press conference in Dąbrowa Górnicza.  

„We must remember that alimony remains a very serious problem. Women must have the certainty that awarded alimony will reach them directly. We must recover it in the same way that the Tax Office recovers unpaid taxes. Here, there must be certainty that families are safe” - said Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, Civic Coalition candidate for Prime Minister and Deputy Marshal, at a press conference in Dąbrowa Górnicza. 

„It is a scandal that evidence is disappearing [regarding the Prime Minister Szydło's accident]. I don't understand why the prosecution service allows such situations. In fact, there isn't a day that goes by without us hearing about irregularities either in the Ministry of Justice or the prosecution service. [Zbigniew Ziobro] is still holding this position. This is the last moment the Prime Minister can dismiss him” - said Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, Civic Coalition's candidate for Prime Minister and Deputy Speaker of the Sejm, at a press conference in Dąbrowa Górnicza. 

- We are in the midst of an election campaign. Ahead of us lies that decisive day, October 13th. Decisive for the future of our country. As we approach the finale, the finale of 4 years, of a term, we must always look back. Ask ourselves what we have succeeded in, whether we kept our word, what we have done for our homeland, our country. This is a question that every party that has governed or is governing should ask itself, although if one looks at the last terms, not just this one, but several previous ones, I don't recall such a question being asked. But we want to be honest with the voters. Therefore, we are asking this question. And I can say this: we have really done a great deal during this time. Our achievements in the social sphere are the most prominent and well-known, meaning: one can say a great social policy, restoring justice in Poland, and at the same time supporting what is the foundation of everything, namely Polish families. 500+ is a symbol here, but there were more such initiatives - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at the PiS convention in Włocławek.

- All acquired rights that you have obtained, I'm speaking to the representatives of the uniformed services, you will regain if we have a say in co-governance. We helped you collect 300,000 signatures for a bill that will return your acquired rights. They were taken from you by Civic Platform for the first time and then by PiS. Acquired rights of no professional group in Poland can be taken away - said Włodzimierz Czarzasty during a press conference in Legnica.

- We have undertaken a difficult, as you surely know, attempt to reform Polish courts. This has become a dispute, not only within our country but also in Europe, which is still, as it were, not concluded, but I want to tell you. What we have done, we have done well. In the interest of society and justice. And because this reform is not yet finished, I can say and I should say that it will be continued. We will not retreat. Poland must be a well-functioning country, a well-functioning state. And for this, we need good, efficient, but above all, objective and just courts. And we will achieve this – stated Jarosław Kaczyński at the PiS convention in Włocławek.

- I am also looking at Minister Czabański. Ladies and gentlemen, we have restored something that is a condition for democracy. As it is, not yet full, but as such, media pluralism. After all, before that, meaning until 2015, we essentially had no media pluralism. We were dealing with a situation where, essentially, one could say that when it came to the strongest media, they all spoke with the same voice. And that simply has nothing to do with democracy. A huge part of society didn't have it. One could describe it as such in its media representation. And that was an unhealthy situation, deeply unhealthy. God truly helped us that in this situation, we managed to win the elections and take power - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at the PiS convention in Włocławek.

- We declare that regardless of which party we will cooperate with on this matter, we will not look at what that party is called. We will be able to stand up and form a non-partisan bloc that will support all actions that serve climate protection. We will do everything we can - said Włodzimierz Czarzasty during a press conference in Legnica.

- We simply want to eliminate this difference. We want Poles to live like those in the West. In every respect. But at the same time, we also want the structure of our state, our policies in various fields, including social policy, to be something that is based on our Polish experience, but also on the good, and also the bad, experiences of those who have had more historical luck. In short, we want the construction of a welfare state that would correspond to all these experiences, reject what has failed, accept what has succeeded, incorporate all our Polish ideas, add them, and create a truly very good quality of life - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at the PiS convention in Włocławek.

Today, the subject of discussion, and a serious discussion in Poland, is our plan to raise the minimum wage. PLN 3000 from 2021, PLN 4000 from 2024, but remember that the decision will be made within this term, which begins in the autumn. Some say, write, proclaim that this is some blow to Polish entrepreneurs and at the same time that it will serve us poorly. No, ladies and gentlemen. The economic progress we need is primarily progress that must be based on new technologies and methods of organizing work. And when are new technologies introduced and when is work organized better than before? When it pays off. And when does it pay off? When the price of labor is at a decent level. If it is cheap, then we simply live in a semi-colonial sphere. Poland, a land of cheap labor. This must end – stated Jarosław Kaczyński at the PiS convention in Włocławek. Certainly, at the current level of development, when we have 71% of the EU average, it is already unnecessary. It is harmful. Those who defend it, defend particular interests. And foreign interests – the PiS leader continued.

- We are not against entrepreneurs. During this term, we have taken many steps specifically for entrepreneurs. We have lowered taxes, we have introduced the small PIT and small ZUS for small businesses. We are doing everything to develop businesses, especially modern, innovative ones, as well as innovative types of industry and services. We are consistently working in this direction. On Saturday, there will be a conference on this very topic in Katowice, and you will certainly learn many things. However, the fact that we are doing this does not mean that we intend to say: develop further, because we will offer you a cheap worker. No, that would be completely ineffective, extremely unfair. That would be completely against what we have always proclaimed and what serves Poland – stated Jarosław Kaczyński at the PiS convention in Włocławek.

- Our concept is consistent. It is being attacked today, also with fake news, with falsehoods. For instance, by saying that we want to raise what we want to lower. We want to lower ZUS for small entrepreneurs, yet it is being claimed that we want to raise it. This is a lie, a plain lie, and there will probably be many more such lies during the campaign. But we must do everything to ensure that Polish voters, our compatriots, know what is a lie and what is the truth. So that they can distinguish truth from falsehood, because this is a guarantee of our victory. The truth is on our side, on the side of PiS – stated Jarosław Kaczyński at the PiS convention in Włocławek.

Remember, ladies and gentlemen: you must go to the voters, to the citizens, go with the truth. You must talk to them. Polls, while favorable, do not win elections. Elections are won through constant contact with voters. With enormous effort, and this effort must continue, continue until the last moment, until midnight on October 11th, which is the beginning of the election silence – stated Jarosław Kaczyński at the PiS convention in Włocławek.

- We need to talk about our healthcare policy. I know there is still a lot to be done here, and I am not trying to deceive anyone by saying that everything is fine or that a breakthrough has already been achieved. But remember, we are implementing a plan that will lead to us being able to spend not the current slightly over 100 billion, but 150-160 billion PLN annually on healthcare in a relatively short time, within the next few years. And that will be enough. But it needs to be well-organized and not go into private pockets, but rather so that Poles are treated well - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at the PiS convention in Włocławek.

- By midnight on the 11th [of October], we must reach voters with these truths, which I have briefly discussed here. And then will come that for which we are all waiting, but which is by no means certain yet. Even today's "Gazeta Wyborcza" speculates "how we might not win." And this, even though their polls show us winning. This speculation must be cut off once and for all. Victory must come - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at the PiS convention in Włocławek.

There is also another specific issue. It so happens that in this electoral district, and not for the first time, someone is throwing a spanner in the works. We have an excellent candidate for senator, a very proven politician, Senator Józef Łyczak. But in the same district, someone is trying to run under a similar abbreviation, they cannot use it because it is reserved, but it is clear what this is about, a young, energetic politician, but one who has numerous, and I mean very numerous – let's be frank – problems. And this is an abuse. I spoke with him, I asked him, I gave him a chance in a few years. Because people should be allowed to somehow recover from a difficult situation. Unfortunately, he did not take advantage of this and is acting today on the basis of abuse, because it is an abuse. And I would like everyone to know this, and I would also like, if I may ask, for television to also convey these words of mine. Because I repeat: this is an abuse. The only candidate of PiS is one senator, a political activist, a PiS activist, Józef Łyczak. And whoever acts like Mr. Zbonikowski simply creates opportunities for our opponents. He acts to the benefit of our opponents. Those who want Poland to go backward, back to post-communism, to injustice, to abuse, to plunder, to all that we have dealt with for years. And we must know this. And the residents of this senatorial district must also know this. A vote for Mr. Zbonikowski is a vote against PiS and against Poland. A vote for Józef Łyczak is a vote for good change, for Poland, for PiS – stated Jarosław Kaczyński at the PiS convention in Włocławek.

- I like people, I meet with them. This is a trait I've mentally inherited from Aleksander Kwaśniewski. People ask me: Should we vote for the Left, or for other parties, what do you advise? I always say then: Is it true that if the Left were in Parliament right now, PiS wouldn't be governing? I'm talking about the last election. Well, yes, that's true. There's a simple piece of advice. When the Left returns to Parliament, PiS will stop ruling. We believe this. We assess PiS's rule, especially concerning values and the violation of the constitution, very, very poorly - said Włodzimierz Czarzasty during a press conference in Wałbrzych.

- In today's media environment, something that gets noticed is a success. Certainly, because it's being criticized so much now, there's a scandal around it, one can say that the goal has been achieved. It's been noticed - said Monika Jaruzelska in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on the program "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.

- I am also fighting in a way to have the truth told, because no one had the courage to say this truth. Everyone whispers about something. This truth must be told - said Monika Jaruzelska in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on the program "Gość Wydarzeń" (Guest of Events) on Polsat News.

- Since the PiS governments want to preserve our demographics, and I'm saying this without sarcasm, the 500+ program exists, and they are also not in favor of liberalizing the abortion law. Perhaps, to some extent, a solution, even though it will raise controversy with this kind of handout, would be to treat women as mothers from the moment they are pregnant. Let's say, from the moment a doctor confirms a pregnancy and she carries it to term, she could receive the 500+ during this period - said Monika Jaruzelska in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on the program "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.

"Our opponents generally claim they will maintain everything. But they won't. Even if they wanted to, and I don't think they do, but even if they wanted to, if they genuinely wanted to, it requires different skills than they possess – higher ones, and also different circumstances. Because they have the ones they have. I won't elaborate on this. You all know it," stated Jarosław Kaczyński at the PiS convention in Bydgoszcz.

A developing society is a healthy society. There's a saying: 'in a healthy body, a healthy mind' [Polish proverb: 'w zdrowym ciele zdrowy duch' - literally, 'in a healthy body, a healthy spirit']. And we need that spirit. We need the conviction that we can succeed. We need hope, and they are trying to take that hope away from us in various ways. They try and spread all sorts of falsehoods, what are called fake news today. All they want is to convince us that our plans are unrealistic. They said the same thing 4 years ago. Everything was also unrealistic. 'There's no money, or as they say 'piniendzy' [a colloquial, possibly mocking pronunciation of 'pieniędzy' - money], and there won't be.' We remember that statement. This gentleman probably ran [for election] from here. He lived in Bydgoszcz. Ha, ha. It turned out there was money – stated Jarosław Kaczyński at the PiS convention in Bydgoszcz.

– We still have a media system that prevents what should happen after such a [VAT] scandal from happening, that it gets blocked. So, here’s another condition I must mention. For Poland to develop, for it to be a truly democratic state, we must complete the process of media pluralization. Because what I spoke of is just one example. Granted, a heavyweight one, but still just one.
