Deputy Speaker of the Sejm and Civic Coalition's candidate for Prime Minister, Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, and the Mayor of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski, will participate in the ceremony of unveiling a bust of Tadeusz Mazowiecki at 9:00 AM.

The leader of the Polish People's Party, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, will present candidates for the Sejm and Senate from the Łódź region at a press conference in Łódź at 11:00 AM. At 10:00 AM, the leaders of The Left will organize their press conference in the Sejm. Minister of Education, Dariusz Piontkowski, will also meet with journalists at 12:00 PM.

Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki will participate today in the Summit of Heads of Government of the Visegrád Group and Western Balkan Countries in Prague. Yesterday, when I was listing various scandals concerning the Civic Platform, Marshal Kidawa-Błońska left the room. Frankly, I don't understand it. She presents herself as an extremely elegant person, yet when we are discussing substantively what happened during her time and what is good under our era of good change, she simply gets up and leaves the room – Michał Wójcik said in an interview with Michał Rachoń on the TVP Info program “Jedziemy”. 

- In politics, it's not about liking, loving, or being friends, but about having a shared vision for Poland, and I believe both gentlemen [Mateusz Morawiecki and Zbigniew Ziobro] have such a vision and assessment of what is happening - stated Jacek Sasin in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

- Łukasz Piebiak was not brought into the Ministry of Justice by [Zbigniew Ziobro], because Piebiak was delegated as a judge to the Ministry of Justice during the Civic Platform government - the Deputy Prime Minister continued.

- This does not mean that I want to distance myself in any way from Deputy Minister Piebiak, because he did a great job on judicial reform. I am grateful to him for that, but he couldn't withstand the pressure, the pressure that judges who were involved in judicial reform were subjected to by the other part of their environment, which strongly opposed this reform. He went in the direction of actions that we do not accept, even though such actions were also taken against him and his colleagues from the other side. We do not accept this. Piebiak took political responsibility, resigned immediately, without discussion. No one defended him - he emphasized.

- Poland's constitutional system is organized in such a way that there is no break between terms of office. The government governs until a new one is appointed. Parliament deliberates until its term ends. This is normal, natural, and in accordance with the Constitution - stated Jacek Sasin in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

We are credible on every matter, including this one. We say clearly: this agenda will not be extended, it is known. Everyone can familiarize themselves with the matters to be decided in the second part of the session. There are no controversial matters there. The vote of no confidence in Minister Ziobro, which the opposition was so keen on to create a political spectacle in parliament even before the elections, was discussed yesterday, and the vote took place. I would advise opposition politicians to engage more in conversation with Poles than to sit and concoct conspiracy theories - stated Jacek Sasin in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Piasecki's Conversation".

„All courts, prosecutor's offices, absolutely everything the ruling party subordinates to itself, it strives for politicization, it strives for centralization of power. And I guarantee you that if PiS were to take power alone after the elections – and I will do everything to prevent that, for the good of the Republic of Poland – should they take power, the first thing they will do is subordinate local governments. They will order new elections, incapacitate mayors and village heads by subordinating their election to councils, the councils will be controlled by PiS, and we will see a return to the times of Gomułka mixed with Gierek” – said Paweł Kukiz in an interview with Beata Lubecka on Radio Zet.

„If both PSL and Kukiz’15 clearly feel, and these are not mere signals but absolutely visible, tangible indications, that PiS simply wants to, I'll say it directly, kill us, both of us, then it's difficult to talk about any coalition here. But on the other hand, I absolutely cannot rule it out either” - Paweł Kukiz said in an interview with Beata Lubecka on Radio Zet.

„For four years – and I will be consistent – I have been saying that if a situation arises where we are the deciding factor, meaning either one side or the other needs us, then we will try to make a rational decision, and a rational decision is one where we will look for a partner who will give a greater guarantee of fulfilling civic postulates, changing the electoral law to a single-member constituency” - he added. 

„*That's what Jarosław Porwich said, whom I repeatedly asked to stop drinking, at least during Sejm sessions. "We Keep Our Promises" is a new portal launched by Jarosław Gowin, showcasing what has changed in Lesser Poland over the last four years of the United Right's government. - In every area of life, the residents of Lesser Poland have felt positive changes since the right-wing has held power in Poland - reads the website, which 300POLITYKA has seen. The official presentation is taking place at a conference held by the Deputy Prime Minister in Krakow (at 9:30 AM).

Among the successes, Deputy Prime Minister Gowin lists, among others, modern roads, railway lines, and improved transport accessibility in Lesser Poland – these are the effects of government subsidies for infrastructure. Higher education institutions in Lesser Poland have received over PLN 240 million in government grants for investments in the last four years, and Lesser Poland families have received PLN 7 billion under the "500+" program, which covered nearly 400,000 children.

The website displays the government's achievements in eight categories: education and science, digitalization, infrastructure, culture and sport, labor and industry, social affairs, environment, and health. - The United Right government is the first government that has kept the promises made during the election campaign. We are honest with Poles, and therefore, our plans, which we are now announcing, are also credible. Since we did not fail over the last four years, one can be sure that we will not fail them in the next term as well - it is emphasized on the "We Keep Our Promises" website.

As 300POLITYKI's sources indicate, Aleksander Kwaśniewski intends to get involved in the Left's campaign starting from the end of September, endorsing specific candidates. According to our informants, the former president plans to visit nine electoral districts. He may also appear at the Left's final convention.

Businesses are saying that for a specialist, for a permanent employee, it is not a problem [to pay a higher minimum wage]. The only issue they mention [businesses] is perhaps the minimum wage for individuals starting out and on a probationary period. Perhaps that is the sole problem. But we will discuss this next year – stated Henryk Kowalczyk in an interview with Łukasz Jankowski on Radio Wnet. When asked if it's possible for this work to be treated differently for younger individuals versus more experienced ones, he replied: – Such discussions are ongoing within the party. That's what I've been talking about. Especially since young people up to the age of 26, in turn, also have zero PIT tax, so this is something that can be considered in this case. When pressed if this is being considered, he stated that it is.

„PiS has decided to break a custom ingrained in our legal and constitutional system, based on the principle of discontinuity of Sejm work. We will see Mrs. Krystyna Pawłowicz [on October 15th], who is not even running in the upcoming elections, in the parliamentary seats, which is quite strange to us. This is another example of how PiS does not respect the law. Neither the law written in the basic law nor customary law” - said SLD spokesperson Anna-Maria Żukowska at a press conference in the Sejm.

„Parliament is not for politicians. Parliament is for citizens. Parliament cannot be a stronghold where the rulers isolate themselves from society. The first thing we will do in the new parliament will be to eliminate these barriers, barbed wire, symbolic measures, by means of which PiS wants to distance itself from Polish society. The Sejm grounds will be open and accessible to citizens. Politicians are for citizens, not the other way around. We will put an end to last-minute insertions. We will prevent this” - added Adrian Zandberg from Razem.

- This concerns a judge who became notorious online for his antisemitic posts. For outrageous hate speech and attacks on others who hold different views. It is precisely this judge, Judge Dudzicz, who is being described in the media today, who is the best symbol, or rather, the worst symbol of what happens when politicians fill the justice system with mediocre but loyal individuals. It is Judge Dudzicz who owes his unquestionable advancement in a very short period to PiS politicians - said Borys Budka during a press conference in the Sejm.

„We are facing a situation that has never happened before. The continuation of the current term of the Sejm is scheduled to take place after the elections, after the election and decision on who will have a parliamentary majority. This is an extraordinary situation. The Sejm in its old composition could convene after the elections only in an exceptional situation, some natural disaster, something we could not have foreseen earlier. In principle, [PiS MPs] do not need to provide any justification. The question arises on its own, what is this all about. Looking at PiS's actions so far, how the Sejm has functioned, and in what urgent manner it has managed to pass dangerous and perilous laws, the question arises what will happen at the session in the old composition after the elections” - said Agnieszka Pomaska from PO at a press conference in the Sejm.

„It cannot be that the Sejm without legitimacy will decide on the most important matters of state, because the next Sejm will convene a few days later. The problem is not the timing, but a devilish plan conceived in the mind of President Kaczyński. Jarosław Kaczyński treats the Sejm as his property. On behalf of the Civic Coalition, we are submitting a motion to Marshal Witek to change the date of the Sejm session. We want the Sejm session, the continuation of the session, to take place within the next 10 days. If there is no plan behind it, then there is no problem with the Sejm session taking place in the coming days” - added Cezary Tomczyk from PO.

- The [Confederation's program] is ready, and we will publish it at our convention, which will take place in 8 days. This is an optimal time because it is still before the launch of our main tool through which many voters will learn about us, namely, the free electoral blocks on radio and television - stated Krzysztof Bosak in a conversation with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus.

- The Marshal of the Sejm approaches all incoming correspondence with great care. However, it is worth emphasizing that the Chamber's work schedule, established on September 10 – which includes two days for the 86th session on October 15 and 16 – remains unchanged – said CIS Director Andrzej Grzegrzółka in an interview with 300POLITYKĄ, referring to today's PO-KO motion to continue the Sejm session over 10 days.

- It [the campaign] is a bit different, because it seems to me that the European elections defined this campaign. On one hand, they gave PiS a strong tailwind, 45%, a 7-point lead, a truly enormous victory in the most difficult elections for PiS. Everyone always said it, and everyone knew that PiS voters go to the polls less often in European elections, and here such a victory, which I think exhilarated PiS. On the other hand, the defeat of the Civic Coalition at the time clipped their wings - stated Krzysztof Łapiński on Onet Rano.

- The Polish People's Party (PSL) made the decision to run separately. They parted ways with the Democratic Left Alliance (SLD), meaning two components of that coalition fell away, and that situation defined this campaign. I think on the opposition's side, no one believes anymore that they can win against PiS, that is, that a coalition can surpass PiS. Rather, the calculations are only this: we must do everything to ensure that PiS does not win and does not have an independent majority. That is likely the stake at the moment - added the former spokesperson for President Duda.

- If we are talking today about building a Polish model or a Polish version of the welfare state, then we are talking about something that is a goal, although it is not a very distant goal. At the same time, we are talking about the direction of march. Forward and upward. Not backward. This is the stake of these elections. Up or down. - [Rapid increase of the minimum wage], from January 1, 2021, it will be PLN 3,000, and from January 1, 2024, though the decision will be made in 2023, within this term, PLN 4,000. And this matter has become a subject of dispute. Moreover, a subject of attack, an attack from those who state, for various reasons, and there are many such reasons, I won't list them all, sometimes they are – one might say – of a rather peculiar nature, that it is bad, unacceptable. That it is harmful. Sometimes they say it harms the economy, entrepreneurs, sometimes the middle class, and finally, sometimes generally, the entire state, the nation. Well, I believe that by recalling those agreements and that path, the path of Solidarity, one thing must be said: this is part of the policy that we want to pursue and are pursuing with full determination. It is a policy aimed at ensuring that Poles simply live better, that they earn more. But this is a rational policy and fits into a much larger, more long-term plan that aims to bring our country first to the EU average, then to the average of the so-called old EU, and finally, we will catch up with our Western partners - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at the PiS convention in Gdańsk.

- Once again, I ask for this great mobilization. For faith in victory. But not passive faith, because nothing comes from such passive faith. Only that until the last day, until October 11th, because that will be the last day of the campaign, until midnight, we fight fiercely for every vote. I know it's not easy in these areas. - They raised the retirement age, and we are raising the minimum wage. Their economists reproach us for this, because they are still immersed in the past, in their yellowed neoliberal notes - said Mateusz Morawiecki in Żywiec.

- These four years that have passed, during which we tried to give our all, can be reversed in four weeks. They can be changed in four weeks because we have introduced a completely new way of implementing economic matters. The economy should primarily work for the people - added the Prime Minister.

- The Golec brothers, they come from here, from Milówka. They have this beautiful song, 'Crazy is my life'. Even if it seems to you that what is happening now is sometimes crazy, that it is impossible, believe that it is possible and that we can do even more. So let's believe in ourselves, let's believe in Poland, let's believe in Poles - said Mateusz Morawiecki in Żywiec.

- We are in a heated campaign period. In a campaign, a politician has a duty to inform society, voters, about their program, about what they have done if they have had an influence on matters in Poland, and we want to have more time for the campaign.
