– We are traveling here and observing, checking the situation in education in Radom. There are very valuable and interesting initiatives. We visited a nursery, the first nursery built in the Szydłowiec poviat under the Maluch program, launched during our time. A special place where children are excellently cared for. Talking to the ladies who run this nursery, we learned that it was also very important that we introduced a one-year maternity leave, so that children enter the nursery at the age of 12 months, because such children feel much better in the nursery, adapt better, and develop. But these are nurseries and kindergartens, whereas what is happening in primary and secondary schools is a real drama. And it cannot be that someone invents a reform and doesn't consider the costs that this will entail for the children, because after all, children are the most important. Teachers and local governments have bent over backward to solve this problem. And we have returned to a situation I remember from my childhood. I remember schools where we had to attend in shifts. As a first-grader, I went to school at, I remember it today, 5:10 PM. Many, many years have passed, we live in the 21st century, and it is only because PiS did not listen to the opposition, the voices of teachers, local government officials, and parents, that children have been subjected to such a fate. And this is no longer politics, because it is harming people. People are suffering, and we need to find a solution here as soon as possible. Parents cannot watch without emotion what fate has befallen their children. Tired teenagers at 6 PM are unable to learn as if they had started classes in the morning – stated Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska at a press conference in Radom.

– Chaos was introduced, and this chaos exists. It needs to be fixed as soon as possible. People of honor, if they make a mistake, they admit to it. I appeal to Chairman Kaczyński: if you have made this mistake, please fix it as soon as possible. It cannot be that entire age groups are condemned to very difficult learning conditions. Teachers to very difficult conditions for teaching our children and grandchildren. Fix this mistake, and if you cannot fix this mistake, then let us do it, because we have solutions on how to solve the problem of education, so that school is friendly, so that children feel they are the most important there, so that teachers have time to dedicate to their work. This chaos must be stopped immediately. If you do not know how to do it, we will do it very gladly, because there is no time to wait here anymore – added the KO candidate for Prime Minister.
