Brudziński:

PiS to Present a Complementary, Coherent Program Based on Our Last Four Years of Achievements. It Will Be a Program of Continuation
Law and Justice will today present a complementary program, a coherent program, and also a program based on what we have managed to achieve over the last 4 years. It will be a program of continuation. If you ask about priorities, I can only reveal that, obviously, we believe that this good time for Poland, as our election slogan states, must be based on a fundamental sense of social justice. We believe that the foundation of our policy altogether is the commencement of building a society living in a welfare state. The era of liberal experiments, which involved us always hearing and being told that we must save, but then, strangely, it was always the poorest who saved, or their pockets were reached into, while the wealthiest fared excellently – stated Joachim Brudziński in an interview with Krzysztof Ziemiec on RMF FM.

09:39

Brudziński:

One would like to say: let's hurry to get to know the Platform's programs – they change so quickly

- In this case, one would like to say: let's hurry to get to know the Civic Platform's programs – they change so quickly. They change at such a pace that even their authors or leaders are unable to remember what they promised just a few weeks ago – stated Joachim Brudziński in an interview with Krzysztof Ziemiec on RMF FM.

- Yes, when the sacramental question arises: show us the calculations, as was the case with Grzegorz Schetyna's famous six-pack, we still haven't received any calculations. The expert who is currently the main face of the Civic Platform, MP Izabela Leszczyna, says that the vast majority of these programs will be financed by cutting the budget of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, these are just tales... – he continued.

09:44

Brudziński:

Our Hashtag Today is #WeAreMovingForward. We're Managing, We've Managed, We're Moving Forward, and This is a Good Time for Poland

- Right now, it's not about trying to outdo ourselves. That would be irresponsible because responsible politics isn't about inventing some slogan and then topping it; it must be about continuation. Today, our hashtag, as they say in the language of internet users, is #JedziemyDalej. We're managing, we've managed, we're moving forward, and indeed, this is a good time for Poland. All of this is subject to verification by the voters, by the Polish people - stated Joachim Brudziński in a conversation with Krzysztof Ziemiec on RMF FM.

- On October 13th, we will find out if we have indeed managed, but what we propose today is an element of continuation of this program. You see, we are a responsible team, a responsible government - added the head of the PiS campaign committee.

10:31

Schetyna:

Today We Begin Our Parliamentary Election Campaign. We Will Be Close to the People, We Will Talk to Them

We are in a new situation, today we are beginning our parliamentary election campaign. We are here, in Lower Silesia. Here, where we feel very good and where, visiting Wałbrzych, we always know that this is a special city with a special history, special people, but also excellently managed, led by Mayor Szełemej. A city that has a great history, pride, and great expectations. But what the mayor spoke about is also a very important part of our campaign. This story about Poland, which – we believe – we will be able to build after October 13th. This is local Poland, turned towards the people, towards the residents. This is Poland, which is cooperation between the government administration and local government, where we do everything to make people's lives better and that we do all this for the common good, and we have with us here candidates, leaders of Wałbrzych and Lower Silesian Civic Platform, friends with whom we have been building this great political project for many years – stated Grzegorz Schetyna at a press conference in Wałbrzych.

We will be close to the people, we will talk to them, we will ask them, continue to talk about our program. How to solve their problems, how to help them – he continued.

10:35

Kidawa-Błońska:

We Want to Build a People-Friendly Poland Together, a Poland Without Hatred

- Yesterday, we presented the Civic Coalition's full program for the coming years. We want to implement this program with you. We know that many new matters can still be added, which is why we are moving on into Poland. We will be everywhere, we will want to talk with you, consult on our program, and listen to local problems. If we want people to feel happy in our country, we must treat everyone individually, with their needs, desires, and dreams. No one can be left alone, forgotten. We want to build a people-friendly Poland together, a Poland without hatred - stated Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska at a press conference in Wałbrzych.

10:37

Kidawa-Błońska:

We're Starting Today from Wałbrzych. We'll Be Traveling Every Day in Our Buses and Talking with You. Look for Us Everywhere, We Invite Everyone to Talk

- We're starting today from Wałbrzych. We'll be traveling every day in our buses and talking with you. Look for us everywhere, we invite everyone to talk. We will talk with everyone and we are going for a better tomorrow and so that we win these elections - stated Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska at a conference in Wałbrzych.

11:54

WKK:

A New, Crucial Programmatic Point. The "Own Corner" Program

- A new programmatic point, very important. The "own corner" program, which will enable 100,000 young families in Poland annually, who want to have children and are starting their new life, their life path, a new life path, to receive PLN 50,000 from the state as an initial contribution to buying an apartment, being able to take out a loan, and having a basis entitling them to apply for a loan in the first place - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at the PSL convention in Sandomierz.

11:58

WKK:

We'll Take Care of Polish Entrepreneurs. They'll Be Able to Decide Voluntarily Whether They Can Afford to Pay ZUS or Don't Have the Money

- A grand, solemn commitment. We'll take care of Polish entrepreneurs. They will be able to decide voluntarily whether they are able to pay into ZUS [Social Insurance Institution] or if they don't have the money for it, but thanks to this, they will maintain jobs and develop their own businesses – stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at the PSL convention in Sandomierz.

12:04

WKK:

6.8% of GDP for Healthcare. Not Tomorrow, But Today. Immediately. Let's Shift 2% of Pension Contributions to Healthcare

- 6.8% of GDP for healthcare. Not tomorrow, but today. Immediately - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at the PSL convention in Sandomierz.

- Let's shift 2% of pension contributions to healthcare. This amounts to several billion zlotys. If the number of pensioners in Poland has halved, then the pension fund, where pension contribution increases for employees and entrepreneurs were made a few years ago, no longer requires such a cash injection today. We can shift 2%. This is several billion for healthcare - the PSL leader continued.

12:05

WKK on the Healthcare System: "Those in power decided that cash-in-hand programs are better than investing in people and their health. That's what I hold against them, because they chose PR and political marketing over health."

Those in power decided that cash-in-hand programs are better than investing in people and their health. That's what I hold against them, because they chose PR and political marketing over the health, safety, and lives of Poles. When there's a bit more money, we move the disability contribution, there must be a manager who oversees healthcare, and at the regional level. NFZ directors are in charge. There is no social control over this. Local government officials, patients, doctors, and nurses must have influence. There must be promotion of medical professions” – said the leader of the Polish People's Party, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, during the PSL-Koalicja Polska program convention.

12:07

WKK:

We Call on All Political Parties, Social and Professional Groups to Sign a Health Pact, Removing Healthcare Reforms from the Fray of Daily Political Brawls

We call on all political parties, social and professional groups to sign a pact for health, removing healthcare reforms from the fray of daily political brawls. Only then will things be normal” - stated the leader of the Polish People's Party (PSL), Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, during the PSL-Koalicja Polska program convention.

12:45

Kaczyński References Kidawa-Błońska from KO Convention: I Was So Moved, I Forgot the Law and Justice Program

I was so moved by everything I saw here, especially by that little boy who so desperately wanted to stay here, that I forgot the Law and Justice program. We will, in a way, open this program, reveal it during subsequent thematic conventions, although it already exists, it will be further corrected, and there will be new ideas” - said Law and Justice chairman Jarosław Kaczyński during the PiS convention in Lublin.

12:45

Kaczyński:

We View the Protection of Life Very Broadly. This Includes Protection Against Euthanasia, Against Abortion on Demand, and Against the Entire Ideology Undermining the Value of Human Life Today.

"The protection of life is viewed by us very broadly. It is protection against various kinds of oppression, including from our own state, but it is also protection against euthanasia, against abortion on demand, and against the entire ideology that today undermines the value of human life. We firmly stand by the position that this is an irrefutable value. We also remember the complications of social, national, and international life. And therefore, we also value heroic virtues," said PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński during the PiS convention in Lublin.

12:55

Kaczyński:

Our aim in social life is to increase equality, and we are achieving this

We treat equality as equality of rights, absence of privileges, as equality of opportunity, chances. We do not deny, of course, natural differences between people, differences in talents, abilities that result from individual characteristics. We value these talents, we value entrepreneurship, but our aim, our aim in social life, is precisely to increase the level of equality, and we are achieving this, as indicated by various data from international institutions” - said PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński during the PiS convention in Lublin.

12:58

Kaczyński:

The Family is Fundamentally Important for Generational Continuity and Cultural Transmission, and This is How We See It: One Woman, One Man in a Stable Union, and Their Children.

We consider two communities to be fundamental, the most important. The first is the family. Yes, we consider the family to be a social unit of absolutely fundamental importance for the continuity of generations, for the transmission of culture and civilization, for the durability of larger communities, but this is how we see the family: one woman, one man in a stable union, and their children. This is the family

” - said Law and Justice (PiS) chairman Jarosław Kaczyński during the party's convention in Lublin.

12:58

Kaczyński:

The 'One Woman, One Man in a Stable Relationship and Their Children' Family Model is Under Attack. The Family is Under Attack. In the Overwhelming Majority of Cases, People are Born Female or Male. And Let It Remain So. This is How it Should Rem

"This model of family today has many opponents in Poland. The family understood in this way is under attack. Natural differences between people, between women and men, are being attacked. Of course, between women and men, I want to emphasize this very strongly, there must be full equality. I say this with all my might. But in the overwhelming majority of cases, people are born female or male. And let it remain so. This is how it should remain in Poland," said PiS chairman Jarosław Kaczyński during a party convention in Lublin.

13:07

Fogiel:

Kaczyński Delivers a Decades-Long Lecture on Politics, Ideas, and Recent History from Memory. Schetyna Can't Even Remember a Six-Pack

Radosław Fogiel, a Member of Parliament for the Law and Justice party (PiS), has commented on the perceived intellectual differences between PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński and Civic Platform (PO) leader Grzegorz Schetyna.

In a statement posted on Twitter, Fogiel stated, "Jarosław Kaczyński, without any preparation, delivers a multi-decade lecture on politics, ideas, and recent history from memory. Grzegorz Schetyna is unable to remember a six-pack."

This comparison appears to be a jab at Schetyna's perceived lack of intellectual depth or preparedness, contrasting it with Kaczyński's supposed encyclopedic knowledge and oratorical prowess. The mention of a "six-pack" is likely a colloquialism, perhaps referencing a simple list, a set of facts, or even a metaphor for a basic set of skills or knowledge that Schetyna is supposedly lacking.

13:15

Kaczyński:

Every good Pole must know the role of the Church, that beyond it lies only nihilism. And we reject this nihilism, because nihilism builds nothing, nihilism destroys everything.
"Christianity is a part of our national identity. The Church has been and is the herald and holder of the only, universally known system of values in Poland. Beyond it, apart from perhaps some very small, particularly functioning systems, we have only nihilism. And that is why the Church is important for Poles, it is important for Polish patriots. Every good Pole must know the role of the Church, that beyond it lies only nihilism. And we reject this nihilism, because nihilism builds nothing, nihilism destroys everything," said PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński during the PiS convention in Lublin.

13:18

Kaczyński:

No Rational Reasons to Oppose 'Europeanness' to 'Polishness'; Poland to Remain an Island of Freedom

There are no rational reasons to oppose 'Europeanness' to 'Polishness'. Polishness is one of the versions, one of the variants of Europeanness, and a special variant at that, particularly connected with freedom. Freedom today, unfortunately also in the world and Europe, is being questioned. Under various slogans, but in essence, the aim is to limit or eliminate freedom. Although the slogans are noble, the goal is hideous. And we reject it decisively. Poland will remain an island of freedom” – said PiS chairman Jarosław Kaczyński during the PiS convention in Lublin.

13:23

Kaczyński:

Minimum Wage to Reach 3000 PLN by End of 2020, 4000 PLN by End of 2023

- By the end of 2020, meaning in a little over a dozen months, the minimum wage will amount to 3000 PLN - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at the PiS convention in Lublin. - By the end of 2023, the minimum wage will amount to 4000 PLN - announced the leader of the ruling party.

13:23

Kaczyński:

The 'Tribunal System' Proposed by Some Today, Essentially Court Rule, Has Nothing to Do with Democracy. It's a System that Best Serves Oligarchy.
“The judiciary is to implement laws, including the most important, fundamental one; all others must be in compliance with it, but determining this compliance must in turn be in accordance with the appropriate procedure. This is how democracy should look. The system proposed today by some, they generally do not use this word, but it must be used, the tribunal system, essentially the rule of courts, has nothing to do with democracy. It is a system that best serves oligarchy” - stated PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński during the PiS convention in Lublin.

13:24

Kaczyński:

In 2021, a Vast Majority of Pensioners Will Receive a Second 'Thirteenth Pension,' Meaning Not One, But Two

- In 2021, a vast majority of pensioners will receive a second 'thirteenth pension,' meaning not one, but two 'thirteenth pensions' - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at the PiS convention in Lublin.

13:26

Kaczyński:

Farmers Will Finally Receive Full Per-Hectare Subsidies at the Full European Level

- Farmers will finally receive full per-hectare subsidies at the full European level - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at the PiS convention in Lublin.

13:30

PiS Uses #KaczynskiHatTrick Hashtag on Social Media

The Law and Justice (PiS) party is actively utilizing the hashtag #HatTrickKaczyńskiego (Kaczynski's Hat-Trick) on social media platforms. This hashtag appears to be strategically employed in their online communication, as evidenced by the following links to tweets:

The precise context or meaning behind the "hat-trick" in this instance is not explicitly detailed within the provided links, but it suggests a narrative of success or a significant achievement attributed to Jarosław Kaczyński, the leader of PiS.

13:32

Kaczyński on Civic Platform: Even More Radically Than PiS, Which Questioned the Third Republic System as PC, They Radically Demanded a Change to This System. Later It Turned Out to Be an Illusion, That Civic Platform Didn't Want Change, Only Restoration, S

The postulate of the Fourth Republic, which we also put forward, and which was formulated by some even in the early 90s, was then presented by people who are on the other side today. It seemed that there was a chance for change, that this system would not actually last. A party emerged, I am talking here about our current opponents, which often very radically, even more radically than PiS, which had a tradition of questioning this system as the Centre Agreement, demanded a change. But later it turned out that it was an illusion, that Civic Platform did not want a change of the system. They only wanted what historians call restoration, i.e., superficial changes to preserve the essence of things” - said the leader of PiS, Jarosław Kaczyński, during the party's convention in Lublin.

13:41

Kaczyński on PO's rule: It was all constant manipulation, ceaseless manipulation of society. Manipulation instead of dialogue. Tusk, though he didn't say it directly, claimed that democratically elected power isn't interested in society.
“Through actions against various groups, new enemies were sought: football fans, actions against so-called dopalacze (legal highs), pedophiles, austerity measures that were implemented at one point. It was all constant manipulation, ceaseless manipulation of society. Manipulation instead of dialogue, democratic dialogue, because the real interests of society were disregarded. Characteristic was the attitude of this formation, which was in power then and created this late post-communism, towards the state. The state was treated, Donald Tusk spoke about this directly during the Amber Gold affair, as a set of institutions independent of each other and, in fact, independent of society and not acting for the benefit of society. Tusk rejected accusations that various institutions failed during this affair. And he said that this is what democracy is, this is what it entails, because this is how it must be summarized, although he of course did not say this, that democratically elected power is not interested in society” - said Law and Justice (PiS) chairman Jarosław Kaczyński during a convention in Lublin.

13:45

Kaczyński on Tusk: Foreign policy, this clientelism, has been subordinated to the Prime Minister's individual expectations. This has been exceptionally detrimental to Poland.

"Foreign policy, this clientelism, has been subordinated to the Prime Minister's individual expectations. This is completely obvious today and has been exceptionally detrimental to Poland" - said PiS chairman Jarosław Kaczyński during the PiS convention in Lublin.

13:46

Kaczyński on Kopacz's Prime Ministerial Nomination: "These were entirely private decisions." Harmful Privatization of Personnel Decisions

"The privatization of various kinds of personnel decisions was also harmful. I always speak about women with respect, with full respect for the Prime Minister and the Marshal [Ewa Kopacz], these were entirely private decisions. And there were more decisions of this kind" – said Law and Justice (PiS) party leader Jarosław Kaczyński during the PiS convention in Lublin.

13:49

Kaczyński on PO's Rule: It Was a Game of Power, a Game of Governing. Fine Wines, Cigars, Kicking a Ball. All Very Pleasant, But You Also Need to Know How to Govern Well, and That's Something They Completely Lacked

The state was vanishing because the state was simply disliked by this government. There were certain characteristics related to the personal traits of the leader himself, to Donald Tusk's traits. This rule was, to a considerable extent, simply a game. It was a game of power, a game of governing. Fine wines, cigars, as they used to say, kicking a ball. All of that is very pleasant to do, but you also need to know how to govern well, and that is something they completely lacked” – said PiS chairman Jarosław Kaczyński during the PiS convention in Lublin.

13:55

Kaczyński on Civic Platform: 'Late Post-Communism, at the End of its Existence, Sharply Veered Left, Towards Lifestyle Leftism. It Was, One Could Say, Its Final Phase. They Lost. It Turned Out They Lost.'

"That's how this system looked. That's how late post-communism looked, which, at the end of its existence, sharply veered left, towards lifestyle leftism. It was, one could say, its final phase. They lost. It turned out they lost. Our work, very strenuous work, proved effective. New governments have arrived" - said Law and Justice chairman Jarosław Kaczyński during the PiS convention in Lublin.

13:56

Kaczyński:

We are the antithesis of late post-communism in every respect. PO's rule was a negation of the 'pro publico bono' principle. We are the implementers of this principle.

Yes, when it comes to late post-communism and its specific, yet superficial characteristics, then yes, we are the antithesis in every respect. That rule was a negation of the 'pro publico bono' principle. We are the implementers of this principle” - stated Law and Justice (PiS) party leader Jarosław Kaczyński during the party's convention in Lublin.

13:59

Kaczyński:

We Must Continue a Policy Founded on Credibility. Our Goal is to Build a Polish Version of the Welfare State

"We must continue a policy founded on credibility. We must keep our word, because that is the foundation of a real democracy. Where there is no credibility, where different things are said and then not done, the act of choosing simply means nothing, it is a fiction, an empty procedure. This strengthens us, the forces of good change, and at the same time weakens them. We must also do other things, undertake other initiatives. One can say that our goal, because I believe we have matured to this point, is to build a Polish version of the welfare state" - said Law and Justice party leader Jarosław Kaczyński during the PiS convention in Lublin.

14:05

Kaczyński:

Reforms of Procedures and Institutions, Including the Judiciary, Must Continue

To continue on this path, for Polish wages to grow, for other incomes to grow, we still have much to do. We must repair the Polish state. We have already done a significant amount in this regard. The establishment of the National Revenue Administration was a success, but we have also reformed the government, strengthened the Prime Minister's position, established a great many new institutions, and changed the entire system of conducting historical policy. These reforms, both of procedures and of certain institutions, including the reform of the judiciary, must continue” – said PiS Chairman Jarosław Kaczyński during the PiS convention in Lublin.

14:07

Szydło:

PLN 1200 Minimum Pension, 13th Pension Remains
Currently, the minimum pension stands at PLN 1100. This process will continue. Another increase, a minimum pension of PLN 1200. There will be a double 13th pension, meaning the 13th pension remains, as many pensioners are asking about it. Yes, it remains, and additionally, there will be a second 13th pension - stated Beata Szydło at the PiS convention in Lublin.

14:10

Kaczyński:

We Must Win, Polls Don't Win. We Must Be Involved in Daily Work During This Campaign. Only Then Will We Win

We must win, polls don't win. I have been interested in politics for a very long time. I don't want to boast, but it's been over 60 years now that I've been interested. I've seen and read many things, so remember this. I am happy that there are so many of you here, but there must be even more of you involved in the daily work of this campaign. Only then will we win and change Poland even more than before” - stated PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński during the PiS convention in Lublin.

14:14

Szydło:

We Will Launch a Scholarship System for Young People Willing to Study Medical Professions

- We will launch a scholarship system for young people who wish to study medical professions. A new profession of medical assistant will appear, in order to de-bureaucratize and relieve doctors and nurses of these bureaucratic tasks. Ambulatory specialist care will be strengthened - stated Beata Szydło at the PiS convention in Lublin.

- It will be possible to check with which specialist doctor one can get advice as quickly as possible through IT systems - the former prime minister continued.

14:45

Morawiecki:

We are establishing a fund for the modernization of healthcare facilities, a fund for hospital modernization
We are establishing a fund for the modernization of healthcare facilities, a fund for hospital modernization. It will be a fund starting with 2 billion PLN, to be supplemented as needed for all district hospitals and beyond, for clinics, and healthcare facilities. A highly anticipated and much-needed program – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the PiS convention in Lublin.

14:49

Morawiecki Announces "100 Bypasses Fund"

- "The "100 Bypasses Fund," because bypasses are a very important program that aims to ensure better conditions for job creation. For the establishment of ventures, for entrepreneurs to invest. A bypass, somewhat contrary to what its name might suggest, actually causes people, entrepreneurs, and businesses to come to a given city or town, leading to even more jobs," stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the Law and Justice (PiS) convention in Lublin.

14:50

Morawiecki:

We are creating another fund, an investment fund for schools and educational facilities. Schools must be modern
We are creating another fund, an investment fund for schools and educational facilities. Initially, it will be a fund of PLN 2 billion and will be supplemented as needed. Schools must be modern – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the PiS convention in Lublin.

14:52

Morawiecki:

We are creating the Kolej+ fund and a renovation fund for train stations

- We plan to renovate another 150 [railway] stations in the coming years and we are creating the Kolej+ fund and a renovation fund for stations - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the PiS convention in Lublin.

14:54

Morawiecki:

Minimum Wage to Increase to PLN 2600 on January 1, 2020

- On January 1, 2020, the minimum wage will increase to PLN 2600. This means a two-step increase of approximately 15% annually, from 2019 to 2020, about a 15% increase, and from 2020 to 2021, also about a 15% increase. This is to make up for the lost years under Grzegorz Schetyna's party - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the PiS convention in Lublin.

14:57

Morawiecki:

Leapfrogging Increase in Lump Sum Tax for SMEs. From €250,000 to €1 Million, and in the Future to €2 Million
There will be a leapfrogging increase in the lump sum tax for small and medium-sized enterprises. From 250,000 euros to one million euros, and in the future to two million euros. This means less bureaucracy, lower taxes. Then, a well-calculated cost in the budget, for you entrepreneurs, of around one billion zlotys, to make it easier for you to conduct business, so you can dedicate yourselves to business. This is our promise, that we will do everything so that small and medium-sized entrepreneurs can also manage as best as possible, because the large ones will always manage more easily – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the PiS convention in Lublin.

14:59

Morawiecki:

We're Moving Towards Calculating ZUS Based on Income, Ensuring Easier Terms for Those with Lower Incomes, Starting Up, and Investing

- After introducing the concept of small business operations, based on revenue, we are moving towards calculating ZUS contributions based on income and ensuring that it is easier for those with lower incomes, those who are starting up, and those who are investing - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the PiS convention in Lublin.

15:02

Morawiecki:

One of Schetyna's party leaders appeared on camera in a suit, shirt, and tie, but with flip-flops and swim trunks below. That's what a program offer looks like. They can promise anything, but ultimately it's flip-flops and swim trunks.

- This is a real program, not like our competitors. I don't know if you've seen it. I rubbed my eyes in astonishment. One of Grzegorz Schetyna's party leaders appeared on camera, he had a suit jacket, shirt, tie, and at the bottom, flip-flops and swim trunks. It was really like that. That's what a program offer looks like. They can promise anything, but ultimately it's flip-flops and swim trunks - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the PiS convention in Lublin.

15:05

Morawiecki:

They'll Resort to Every Tactic, to These Pseudo-Scandals. I'll Definitely Be Revealed as an Even Worse Bankster. 100%, Absolutely.

- Remember that they will resort to every possible trick, to these pseudo-scandals. I will definitely be revealed as an even worse bankster. 100%, absolutely. Although I am a bankster who left a comfortable life, like in Madrid, 20 years ago – ironically, for a beautiful but entirely different public service – I will certainly be entangled with some international bankers' gang. Expect this. You can count on the media that support our opponents. Let's not be deceived. This is an attempt to manipulate public opinion, to delude, to cheat, where on one hand, the entire society loses billions, and on the other hand, there are occasional, perhaps, stumbles. But on our stumbles, Poles do not lose, the entire society does not lose, whereas on their mistakes, the entire society lost its great development opportunities – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the PiS convention in Lublin.

15:08

Morawiecki:

Our competitors, for the most part, Grzegorz Schetyna's party in the EP voted for ACTA2. For taking away freedom on the internet. We do not allow this, and that's why we have appealed this decision.

- Our competitors, for the most part, Grzegorz Schetyna's party in the EP voted for ACTA2. For taking away freedom on the internet. We do not allow this, and that's why we have appealed this decision to the European Court of Justice, to show that PiS stands for freedom of expression on the internet, for freedom on the internet - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the PiS convention in Lublin.

15:40

Schetyna on PiS's Minimum Wage Proposal: 'These are not decisions of the ruling party's leader. Entrepreneurs will have to pay for all of it.'
'Promises, promises, promises. Money from the budget is no longer enough. Today we heard that Jarosław Kaczyński is raising the minimum wage in 2021 to PLN 3,000, and in 2023 to PLN 4,000, without realizing that these are not decisions of the ruling party's leader. Entrepreneurs will have to pay for all of it. It is impossible, unrealistic, and absurd. Just as absurd as this whole spectacle and the preparation or presentation of the so-called 'Kaczyński's Hat Trick', as if to show how clearly President Kaczyński doesn't understand sports and isn't knowledgeable about football, he also doesn't understand the economy and the consequences of the promises that are being made or have been made today,' stated Grzegorz Schetyna at a conference in Lower Silesia.

Budka Responds to Morawiecki: A Pity He Didn't Say Why He's So Afraid of an Open Debate About Silesia

Borys Budka, a prominent figure in Polish politics, has responded to remarks made by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki regarding the region of Silesia. Budka expressed regret that Morawiecki did not elaborate on his perceived apprehension towards an open discussion about Silesia's future and identity.

The exchange, which gained traction on social media, highlights ongoing political discourse surrounding regional autonomy and national identity within Poland. Silesia, with its distinct historical and cultural heritage, has often been a focal point for discussions about regional governance and economic development.

Budka's statement suggests that the Prime Minister's reluctance to engage in a transparent debate on these sensitive issues is a cause for concern among opposition circles. The precise nature of Morawiecki's remarks, which prompted Budka's response, is not detailed in the provided link, but the implication is that they touched upon the contentious topic of Silesian identity and its relationship with the Polish state.

The link provided is to a tweet by Borys Budka, presumably containing his full statement or a reference to it. This platform often serves as a direct channel for politicians to communicate with the public and to engage in real-time political commentary and debate.
