Czarnecki:

I Appreciate What the German President Said, but Words Cannot Close a Certain Period. Our Demands are Serious and We Will Pursue Them
On one hand, there was the aggressor, on the other, the victim. And please remember this. I wanted to strongly emphasize that I appreciate what the German President, and previously the Minister of Foreign Affairs, said. However, words also cannot close a certain period. Our demands [for reparations] are serious and we will pursue them - stated Ryszard Czarnecki in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego". Germany apologizes, and that is good. I hope that German politicians will also say the same in the German media. However, this does not negate the issue of reparations from the perspective of Greece or Poland - added the MEP.

08:05

Fogiel:

President Putin's Absence, I Believe, Was a Skillful, Proper, and Advisable Move

- President Putin's absence, I believe, was a skillful, proper, and advisable move. Regarding the 80th anniversary commemorations. The situation could be awkward for Russia, which is constantly trying to maintain the appearance of being a major player while simultaneously pretending that nothing bad is happening - said Radosław Fogiel in an interview with Piotr Witwicki on Polsat News' "Graffiti".

08:05

Broniarz:

Education Reform Comes at the Cost of Children, Their Time, and Their Emotions

This reform is happening at the cost of children, at the cost of their time, at the cost of their emotions, at the cost of tensions. For young people, students, and teachers, I wish above all for this to be a year of calm, of reasonably normal work, but it won't be normal, because if someone finishes classes at 5-6 PM, they have no time to think about extracurricular activities” – said Sławomir Broniarz, the head of ZNP, in an interview with Beata Lubecka on Radio Zet.

08:05

Czarnecki on War Reparations: The Issue Has Been Elevated to Official Political Talks. The German President Discussed It with President Duda in Malta
We have managed to move this matter [war reparations] to the level of official political talks, because President Steinmeier himself, when meeting President Duda in Malta, discussed it, they talked about it - stated Ryszard Czarnecki in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego". - I assure you that there is a will to resolve this matter at the intergovernmental level, and I would even say at the international level, as that is also a certain perspective. I think Germany would prefer to settle this bilaterally, on a two-sided basis. It has been raised and we will continue to demand it - the PiS MEP continued. In his opinion, "both Athens and Warsaw will receive such compensation, because that is the correct term."

08:06

Fogiel:

The Suggestion That the US President Isn't Coming Because the Russian President Isn't There is Rather Exotic
The suggestion that the US President isn't coming because the Russian President isn't there is rather exotic – said Radosław Fogiel in an interview with Piotr Witwicki on Polsat News' "Graffiti".

08:10

Fogiel:

This will be a more stressful year for some students and parents, but the reform has proceeded smoothly so far.
This will be a more stressful year for some students and parents, but the reform has proceeded smoothly so far. Let's recall how recently we heard that we were facing some terrible apocalypse regarding school admissions – said Radosław Fogiel in an interview with Piotr Witwicki on Polsat News's "Graffiti".

08:11

Broniarz on Strike Poll: We've Decided to Extend Until the End of September. The First 2 Weeks Are Dedicated to Organizing the School Year

In light of what is happening and what we have been informed about by teachers in recent weeks, we have decided to extend this poll. I believe the end of September will be the final deadline, considering what is happening with the double cohort and the organization of admissions. Many principals still don't know what their classes will look like, so with that in mind, and receiving emails, letters, and remarks full of concern, we have decided to extend the poll, stating that the first two weeks will be dedicated to organizing the school year. We want to publish [the results] still in September” - said the head of ZNP, Sławomir Broniarz, in an interview with Beata Lubecka on Radio Zet.

08:12

Broniarz on Strike: Most Likely After the Elections. The Referendum Will Determine the Form and Timing of the Teachers' Strike

"If the referendum shows that there is readiness, determination, that teachers are aware of the situation we are in, then from this referendum it will follow what form of strike and date teachers expect" - said Sławomir Broniarz, head of ZNP, in an interview with Beata Lubecka on Radio Zet.

When asked when a strike might possibly occur, Broniarz replied that it would most likely be "after the elections".

08:15

Czarnecki:

Ziobro Shouldn't Be Dismissed. He Acted Swiftly. I Will Defend Him
Minister of Justice Zbigniew Ziobro is a very important leader of our political camp. He is the leader of a coalition party with which we form the United Right camp, so naturally, if politicians do something together, they must trust each other - stated Ryszard Czarnecki in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Piasecki's Conversation". - [Zbigniew Ziobro] should not be dismissed. I believe he acted swiftly. I will definitely defend Minister Ziobro. He reacted swiftly. The resignation of the deputy minister was very quick. I believe this matter absolutely cannot overshadow the merits of the Minister of Justice when it comes to transforming the dimension of injustice into the dimension of justice - emphasized the PiS politician.

08:19

Czarnecki:

Kaczyński Would Be a Great Prime Minister, But It's His Decision

- Jarosław Kaczyński would be a great prime minister. However, it is already his decision whether he will be the Prime Minister or not. I believe he would be great, but I think Prime Minister Kaczyński is rather thinking about being the leader of the political camp - stated Ryszard Czarnecki in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

08:32

Macierewicz:

Germany is the Main Center of Anti-Polish Propaganda Regarding WWII

Germany is the main center of anti-Polish propaganda when it comes to World War II. It is there that the most information about ‘Polish death camps’ is published. It is there that films are made accusing the Polish resistance, the Home Army, of fascism. It is there that this black legend and black propaganda against the Polish state resides” – stated former Minister of Defense Antoni Macierewicz in an interview with Jedynka radio.

08:34

Karczewski:

It Would Have Been Better if Trump Had Come, But Yesterday's Ceremony Was Very Solemn and Well-Organized

- Certainly, it would have been better if [Donald Trump had come to Poland], however, yesterday's ceremony was very solemn and excellently organized. I'm wondering, if Donald Trump had been there, he certainly would have overshadowed the entire ceremony with his speech and presence. I think the excellent and important speech by the President of Germany for us, for Germans, for Europe, and for the world would have resonated a little in the shadow of Trump's speech. This is an important address - stated Stanisław Karczewski in an interview with Robert Mazurek on RMF FM.

08:34

Karczewski:

I hope Trump will visit soon. I don't know if it will be before or after the elections

- I don't know [when Trump will visit]. We know that very thorough, in-depth talks are already underway. I hope he will visit soon. Everyone is asking, allow me to anticipate your question, whether it will be before or after the elections. I don't know that - stated Stanisław Karczewski in an interview with Robert Mazurek on RMF FM.

08:34

Karczewski Asked if Poland Will Demand Reparations from Germany: Of Course, Yes. Work is Underway and We'll See What Happens in the Next Term
Of course, yes [Poland will demand reparations from Germany]. Work is currently underway in a parliamentary team, and we will see what happens in the next term - stated Stanisław Karczewski in an interview with Robert Mazurek on RMF FM. We will discuss this matter in the future - emphasized the Marshal of the Senate.

08:41

Błaszczak on Dulkiewicz's 'Exotic Guests' Remark: It Just Shows the State of Mind of the Woman Governing One of Poland's Largest Cities. It's Proof of Incompetence

- What the Mayor of Gdańsk did just shows the state of mind of the woman governing one of Poland's largest cities. Calling the Mayor of London that testifies to a lack of competence. Basic, elementary competence - said Mariusz Błaszczak in an interview with Marek Pyza on TVP1's "Political Quarter Hour".

08:43

Błaszczak on Steinmeier's Speech: It Shows That It Was Germans, Not Nazis, Who Were the Executioners, That Germans Were the Aggressors, That They Bear Responsibility for the Crimes. The Issue of Reparations is Not Closed

- Extremely important statements, showing the truth. They show that it was Germans, not Nazis, who were the executioners, that Germans were the aggressors, that they bear responsibility for the crimes. And the crimes were enormous – said Mariusz Błaszczak in an interview with Marek Pyza on TVP1's "Political Quarter of an Hour".

- The issue of reparations is not closed. This is a natural consequence. If someone has done something wrong, they first admit they did it, and then comes the issue of compensation – Błaszczak added.

08:44

Karczewski:

We Cannot Control Prices. That Era Has Ended. I Appeal to Schetyna to Wake Up and See That We Live in a Completely Different Time

- Mr. Schetyna seems to have woken up in the era of a controlled economy. We cannot control prices. That time has already passed. We are living in a completely different period. I appeal to Mr. Schetyna to wake up and see that we live in a completely different time, we have a market economy, and the market regulates prices - stated Stanisław Karczewski in an interview with Robert Mazurek on RMF FM. He added that the government or any political force is unable to dictate the prices of parsley or other products.

08:47

Karczewski:

Our Program Will Be Presented on September 7th in Lublin. A Big Meeting, A Big Convention
We are focused on talking with Poles, on presenting our program. It will be presented soon, in a few days, on September 7th in Lublin. We are meeting, a big meeting, a big convention, and our program will be presented – stated Stanisław Karczewski in an interview with Robert Mazurek on RMF FM.

09:35

Spychalski:

Invitations Were Sent Standardly, Over Two Weeks Before the Ceremony. If Tusk Received His on Thursday, the Question is Where He Was That He Couldn't Receive It Earlier
  • Invitations were sent out as standard, over two weeks before the ceremonies. If Chairman Donald Tusk received his on Thursday, then the question is what he was doing until Thursday. Where was he until Thursday that he couldn't receive this invitation earlier. This is a question not for me, but for Donald Tusk and his associates. With all due respect, but we have known for a long time that the 80th anniversary of World War II would be on September 1st in Warsaw - said Błażej Spychalski in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus's "Sedno sprawy" (The Essence of the Matter).
  • I believe Tusk should have been at these ceremonies as a former Prime Minister. He didn't want to, he wasn't there, he didn't participate - added the President's spokesperson.

09:42

Spychalski on Reparations: The President Has Supported the Government in These Actions from the Beginning

- There is an economic bill of damages that has never been settled, and this must happen. The President has supported the government in these actions from the very beginning of the parliamentary team's work, from the very beginning of Prime Minister Morawiecki's government, and previously Prime Minister Szydło's government - said Błażej Spychalski in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus's "Sedno Sprawy" (The Essence of the Matter).

09:49

Spychalski on President's Expectations Regarding Actions Towards Russia: We're Talking About International Sanctions, Decisive Action by Polish Diplomacy

- We are talking about international sanctions, about decisive action by Polish diplomacy as well, by the President. The point is to draw the attention of the whole world to the fact that September 1, 1939, might never have happened if the civilized nations of the world had very strongly dammed Nazi Germany - said Błażej Spychalski in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus's "Sedno sprawy".

09:59

Kidawa-Błońska:

Protocol is Broken for Kaczyński

- President Kaczyński is the most important politician for Law and Justice. Protocol is broken for him, he lays wreaths first, his letters are sometimes read earlier than the Prime Minister's or the President's. Perhaps it's high time the president said: I rule here and I take responsibility - stated Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska in an interview with Łukasz Kijek on Gazeta.pl.

10:01

Kidawa-Błońska:

The Curtain is Gone, MPs' Car Trunks Are No Longer Inspected, Which Was a Huge Scandal. It Was Terrible, Such a Thing Should Never Have Happened

- Marshal Witek has a difficult task. She faces one, long Sejm session. The curtain is gone, MPs' car trunks are no longer inspected, which was a huge scandal. It was terrible, such a thing should never have happened. However, I don't know if the Marshal will decide to show the lists of support for candidates to the National Council of the Judiciary - stated Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska in an interview with Łukasz Kijek on Gazeta.pl.

- I would really like her to do it, but I feel that she definitely won't. It wasn't for nothing that the fight went on for all these months, just to show at the very last stretch how much is wrong there - added the Civic Platform MP.

11:24

Szumilas:

Piontkowski and Morawiecki's Optimism is Shocking. When We Look at Next Year's Budget Draft, We Don't See Money for Teacher Raises

The optimism of Minister Piontkowski and Prime Minister Morawiecki is shocking. When we look at the draft budget for next year, we don't see any money for teacher raises there. We see a shoddy school proposed to our students by those currently in power” - said Krystyna Szumilas from Civic Platform (PO) at a press conference in the Sejm.

The school is shoddy. This school needs to be changed into a good quality one. As the Civic Coalition, we are proposing a very ambitious program concerning schools. We propose that school be much more practical, interesting, that we teach through experience, that we ensure that there are truly well-equipped workshops in all schools, and that we help local governments. We propose that school also operate after classes, without backpacks, without homework, so that it is a child-friendly school” - added the leader of Nowoczesna, Katarzyna Lubnauer.

11:24

PM to Students: Google Won't Replace Teacher's Knowledge, Facebook Won't Replace Friends – School is Where Knowledge is Born
- You've probably been hearing more and more about the internet, Google, and Facebook, but just as Google cannot replace your teacher's knowledge, and Facebook cannot replace the friends, relationships, female classmates, and male classmates you meet here, remember that school is precisely the fundamental place where knowledge is born, where we think about the future based on learning, on what we learn here – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki during the Provincial Inauguration of the 2019/2020 School Year in Pruszków.

11:37

PM:

We are entering a moment where the education reform is at a turning point, facing a test. I want to express my belief that everything will go well, to give it time to settle.

- You acquire this knowledge primarily thanks to wonderful teachers. I would like to take this opportunity to most warmly thank all teachers across Poland for your hard work, great effort during very difficult years. I know that we are now entering this moment when the education reform is at a turning point, facing a test. I want to express my belief that everything will go well, to give it time to settle. It's a bit like a new student who appears at school. After a few weeks, it turns out he's quite a cool guy - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki during the Provincial Inauguration of the School Year 2019/2020 in Pruszków.

- I think that this change, which we have implemented, which responds to certain needs, to many needs, will also be implemented smoothly and will go quite well. It will turn out to be quite a cool, quite a good change. In a few months, you will see, it will serve our students well - emphasized the head of the Polish government.

12:27

President Duda to Pence: Thank You for Coming to Poland and Participating in the 80th Anniversary of the Outbreak of WWII

"Thank you very much for coming to Poland, for your presence yesterday and for actively participating in the ceremonies marking the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of World War II, which for us Poles, and in our conviction for Europe and the world, was a commemoration of a very sad, dramatic, but also important experience" - said President Andrzej Duda at a press conference after meeting with the Vice President of the United States.

12:47

Duda on Trump's Postponed Visit: "I have no doubt that a president facing danger to their country and people should be present and hands-on."

From a purely human, personal point of view, I wanted to very, very warmly thank the Vice President and his wife. We all know the circumstances of the last few days. We all know that President Donald Trump’s visit was announced. Nature, unpredictable events in the form of a hurricane, have led to a change in these plans, which from my perspective is obvious. I have no doubt that a president, in a situation where danger is approaching their country and people, should be present and should have their finger on the pulse on the ground,” said President Andrzej Duda at a press conference following his meeting with the Vice President of the United States.

12:48

President Duda after meeting with Pence: We held very important talks on current relations and plans in Polish-American relations

"We held very important talks on current relations and plans in Polish-American relations. We discussed cooperation in the field of energy. We naturally discussed military cooperation. I am very grateful for the presence of the Secretary of Energy in Poland" - said President Andrzej Duda at a press conference after meeting with the Vice President of the United States.

"I hope that this will create further development opportunities and further opportunities for cooperation with the United States for our country in the future. Already today, as a result of the work we are jointly carrying out, we have signed further contracts for LNG supplies to Poland. These supplies are being realized" - he added.

12:49

President Duda After Meeting with Pence: We Discussed US Involvement in Modernizing the Polish Army

We also talked about military cooperation. We discussed US involvement in modernizing the Polish army. We talked about increasing defense spending in the coming years. We talked about our plans. It is no secret to anyone that in the coming years, we will be purchasing additional helicopters to replace those we have used so far. We hope that American companies will participate in the tenders that are already planned. The United States produces equipment that is at the absolute forefront globally” - said President Andrzej Duda at a press conference following his meeting with the Vice President of the United States.

12:56

Pence:

Poland to Soon Join Visa Waiver Program

"I would like to emphasize that Poland has already reached a point where it can participate in the visa waiver program. Certification still needs to happen, and Poland will soon join this program. In the past two years, our countries have made unprecedented investments in our common defense, showing the world unwavering dedication to the North Atlantic Alliance," stated United States Vice President Mike Pence in Warsaw.

13:28

Dziemianowicz-Bąk:

We Encourage Students to Take Photos, Use #NightShift Hashtag, and Tag the Ministry of National Education. Pressure Makes Sense. If Nothing Changes, The Left Will Definitely Change It After October 13th.

- Civil servants working in the Ministry of National Education finish their work at 4 or 5 PM, they have time for their families, time for rest. Students who will have to return to their families with such flashlights will not have this time. We encourage students to take photos, post them on social media, on Facebook, Instagram, add the hashtag #NightShift and tag the Ministry of National Education. Pressure makes sense. Making the Ministry of National Education aware of the direct costs borne by students may change something. If nothing changes, then we, as The Left, will definitely change it after October 13th - said Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk during a press conference in front of the Ministry of National Education.

13:30

Gawkowski:

We Support Every Teacher in Poland Earning No Less Than 3500 PLN. This is Our Commitment and One of the First Laws We Will Introduce to Parliament

- Today, the work of a teacher is volunteer work, and The Left disagrees with this. For teaching in Polish schools to be dignified, for the work not to be volunteer work, we support every teacher in Poland earning no less than 3500 PLN. This is our commitment and one of the first laws we will introduce to the Polish parliament - said Krzysztof Gawkowski during a press conference in front of the Ministry of National Education (MEN).

13:53

Patryk Jaki on the 80th Anniversary of WWII Outbreak: The Stark Contrast in State Responsibility and Historical Policy Between Opposition and United Right Leaders

- I came to Płock today to encourage people to vote for the United Right, for PiS, and the past few days are providing us with additional arguments. We have had the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of World War II. Yesterday, you could see what a great contrast there is between the opposition leaders and the leaders of the United Right in terms of their sense of responsibility for the state and in discussing historical policy. On one hand, you saw the Mayor of Gdańsk, who even used the anniversary to attack PiS. I remind you that this history, which is very difficult, does not have the colours of Platforma, PiS, or any other party. On the other hand, you could see representatives of the government, the President, speaking very responsibly about those years and the lost times associated with various decisions that also took place after World War II. Here, using this anniversary as an example, we see a very large contrast in the approach to the state and a contrast when it comes to how we would like Poland to look in the future, what values it should prioritize. On one hand, we have the United Right, which wants to refer to Poland's beautiful history, to courage, to very honourable conduct, and on the other hand, we have the diluted activity of the opposition, which actually doesn't know whether it is proud of this period or not. We have the statement of the Deputy Mayor of Gdańsk, who suggested that it is unclear whether Germany was provoked, he suggested that it is unclear whether Germany was provoked - stated Patryk Jaki at a briefing in Płock.

14:06

Why He Recommends Voting for Jacek Ozdoba:

I Know He Will Defend Our Most Important Values, Christian, Catholic Values.
I wanted to encourage you to vote for PiS, and if any of you decide to vote for PiS, I recommend and want to warmly recommend the politician, the new politician Jacek Ozdoba, number 9 on the list, whom I have known for many years and I know that he will defend our most important values, Christian, Catholic values. I know that I can recommend Jacek with full conviction, and I know that he will be a good representative for you - stated Patryk Jaki at a briefing in Płock.

Terlecki and Mularczyk Meet with Greek Parliament Speaker; Reparations Among Topics
Parliamentary cooperation and the exchange of experiences related to historical policy – these were the main topics of Monday's meeting between the Deputy Marshal of the Sejm, Ryszard Terlecki, and the Speaker of the Hellenic Parliament, Konstantinos Tassoulas – informed the Sejm Information Centre.
The interlocutors assessed that Polish-Greek relations are at a good level, including at the parliamentary dimension, although it was noted that there are areas where cooperation can be intensified, and the meeting on September 2nd is intended to be an impulse for undertaking concrete actions. Historical policy issues were an important element of the talks. The Greek politician spoke with appreciation about the commemorations of the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of World War II and the actions of Polish authorities striving to restore historical truth, as well as the issue of settling war damages. Arkadiusz Mularczyk, Chairman of the Parliamentary Team for Estimating the Amount of Compensation Due to Poland from Germany for Damages Suffered During World War II, participated in the meeting. He presented an update on the team's work and outlined the issues related to the topic.

17:18

Błaszczak:

The Pontoon Bridge Will Be Ready Tomorrow. Further Work to Stop the Degradation of the Vistula Will Then Commence
Tomorrow the bridge will be ready. Then further work will begin, aimed at stopping the degradation of the Vistula River, ensuring the safety of residents north of Warsaw, because they are threatened and the environment is threatened. The Vistula is threatened, so these actions have been taken out of concern for the natural environment and for the residents,” stated Minister Mariusz Błaszczak at a press briefing near the Skłodowska-Curie Bridge.

Many things are being changed on the fly. We did not have complete information from the city. It turned out that the sewage is not even preliminarily segregated. Diapers and various large contaminants are ending up here. We had to change the pumps, because the ones we were originally going to use would have been destroyed. We want the first line to start operating on Friday,” added Minister Michał Dworczyk.

17:34

PM on Visas: I don't know if it's before the elections, but we also discussed it with the US Vice President. He told me we are on a very good path to resolve this issue soon.

- I don't know if it's before the elections, but indeed today I spoke with Vice President Pence and we also discussed this. He told me that we are on a very good path to resolve this issue soon, so that there will be no more visas to the USA. Poland has become a mature country. Exactly a year ago, we were classified by FTSE Russell, a rating agency, as a mature market, a developed country, and this entails certain obligations, but also certain benefits, so I believe this problem will disappear very quickly - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Józefów.

17:38

PM on Education Reform: As with Every Reform, We Need to Wait a Little for its Effects. I Think in a Couple of Weeks, a Few Months, Everything Will Settle Very Well
As with every reform, we need to wait a little for its effects. I compared it today to a new student joining a class. Then all the students also observe this student. I myself was such a new student in class, so I know something about it. But after a few weeks, new friendships form, it turns out to be a perfectly fine girl or boy, so I ask the students that if someone new comes to your class, treat them with kindness, cordiality. Even with a grace period, because it's a difficult moment for such students. It's the same with this reform. I think that in a couple of weeks, a few months, everything will settle very well, and it is important so that the changed system from 6-3-3 to 8-4 educates Poles as best as possible – said Mateusz Morawiecki during an election meeting in Józefów.

18:12

PMM:

'The school starter pack we want to solidify so no one can take it away in the future is one of the most important elements of our pro-family program.'

The school starter pack that we want to solidify so no one can take it away in the future is one of the most important elements of our pro-family program. School – an institution as important in our lives as family – is also a very important time for us to learn. School is also for having a bit of fun. I am glad that schools are increasingly well-equipped,” said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Józefów.

19:53

Mucha on Trump's potential visit to Poland: I don't see an electoral context here

- I don't see an electoral context here. It was stated very clearly today. Today, words were spoken not only about friendship and strategic relations, but there were formulations about family - said Paweł Mucha in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on the program "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.

19:57

Bartoszewski:

From a legal perspective, the Federal Republic of Germany is a continuation of the Third Reich, and the Republic of Poland is a continuation of the Polish People's Republic. No force can compel Germany to pay reparations.

- From a legal perspective, the Federal Republic of Germany is a continuation of the Third Reich, and the Republic of Poland is a continuation of the Polish People's Republic. This cannot be avoided. There is no force that can compel Germany to pay reparations - said Władysław Teofil Bartoszewski in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on the program "Wydarzenia i Opinie" (Events and Opinions) on Polsat News.

20:03

Sasin:

This Shows Our Historical Policy Has Been Effective. Germany Is Now Adopting Our Narrative
- This shows that the historical policy we have been pursuing in recent years is effective. There were many years of attempts to de-nationalize this aggression, and today the German side is adopting our narrative - said Deputy Prime Minister Jacek Sasin on Kropka nad I.

20:04

Zandberg:

Jaki promised a reprivatization bill, then it turned out a stomp of the US Embassy's foot was enough, and there's no bill. When I hear PiS politicians say we're waiting for a political decision, I know it will never be made.

- Another politician comes to mind who spoke of intensive work, also conducted while waiting for a political decision. Only that political decision never came. It was Patryk Jaki, who promised for a very long time that there would be a reprivatization bill, and then it turned out that a stomp of the United States Embassy's foot was enough, and there was no bill, and there isn't one. When I hear PiS politicians say we are waiting for a political decision, I know it means it will never be made - said Adrian Zandberg in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on the program „Wydarzenia i Opinie” on Polsat News.

20:05

Sasin to Olejnik on Public Media's Anti-German Narrative: 'Speaking Historical Truth Isn't Anti-German'
- Do you recall when German television spoke of Polish death camps and refused to apologize, despite a court ruling? I do not see Polish media as being anti-German. Speaking historical truth is not anti-German. You see things I do not see - said Deputy Prime Minister Jacek Sasin on Kropka nad I.

20:07

Zandberg:

For years, it's been evident that government representatives don't want to do anything about reparations, they just want to talk about it in the Polish media.

- Representatives of the Polish government are starting to talk about reparations, I would like them to know what they want to do. Meanwhile, for years it's been evident that they don't want to do anything, they just want to talk about it in the Polish media. Waszczykowski:

We're Not Naive. We Don't Expect Billions from Germany, but Words of Morality and Wrongdoing Should Be Supplemented with Material Reparations

- Steinmeier's speech was indeed poignant, one could say touching, but it lacked a gesture. Germany has had the opportunity to make certain gestures for years. To propose a network of hospitals in Poland, a network of care homes for children, a network for the elderly who survived the war or the communist era. These gestures are missing. We are not naive. We don't expect billions from Germany, but words of morality and the wrongs done to us should be supplemented with material reparations - said Witold Waszczykowski in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on the program "Wydarzenia i Opinie" (Events and Opinions) on Polsat News.

Waszczykowski:

Germany is Steering a Collision Course

- The collision course with Germany is, of course, true, but this collision course is being steered by Germany. Please look at international security issues. Where is the respect for our important interests in our part of Europe by Germany – said Witold Waszczykowski in a conversation with Bogdan Rymanowski on the Polsat News program “Wydarzenia i Opinie”.

Szczerski:

We've Never Been Closer to Visa-Free Travel for Poles to the USA

- Indeed, we have never been so close to abolishing visa requirements for Poles traveling to the USA for tourism. This has been promised by many Polish and US presidents, but it is this Polish president and this US president who can actually achieve it. It would be a significant psychological breakthrough, but also a new opening in social relations - stated Krzysztof Szczerski in an interview with Michał Adamczyk on TVP Info's "Gość Wiadomości".

I Wish for the Day the Russian President Comes to Apologize

- I would wish for the day when the President of Russia says those words that President Steinmeier said. 'I come here barefoot to apologize'. We also expect such a gesture from the Russian side, for them to actually be ready for such words, for which Germany is already ready - stated Krzysztof Szczerski in an interview with Michał Adamczyk on TVP Info's 'Gość Wiadomości'.
