Schetyna:

We bow low to those to whom we owe freedom and solidarity. Lech Wałęsa, hero of those days, is with us. Mr. President, we will always be with you.
We are always here, with the heroes of those events. Always remembering those who have passed and always knowing what a great day it was for all of us. We bow low to those to whom we owe freedom and solidarity. Lech Wałęsa, hero of those days, is with us. Mr. President, we will always be with you. Perhaps it should be said that we are together every year and may it always be so, but today we are also joined by President Dulkiewicz, who - as we learned today - also took part in that strike, albeit from the other side, but it's a good link between those times and the present. We would like to be like those heroes of August, the people of Solidarity, of freedom, so that we can always remember them and always invoke them. For us, for our memory, but also for future generations. There is no freedom without solidarity. Thank you, Mr. President - Grzegorz Schetyna stated in Gdańsk.

Sobolewski:

PiS was the first in Poland to register all electoral lists for the Sejm and Senate

Krzysztof Sobolewski, a member of the Law and Justice (PiS) party, announced that PiS was the first to successfully register all their electoral lists for both the Sejm and the Senate. This places the party ahead of its competitors in the electoral process.

The announcement was made via a tweet on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), posted on August 30, 2019. The tweet, found at https://twitter.com/ac_sobol/status/1167777613265416199?s=21, details this achievement.

Registering electoral lists is a crucial procedural step for any political party participating in elections. It signifies their official entry into the electoral race and allows them to present their candidates to the electorate.

PiS's early completion of this process suggests a well-organized and efficient campaign operation. This could potentially translate into a strategic advantage as the election date approaches.

President Duda After Meeting with Ukrainian President: Ukraine Must Regain Territorial Integrity. Today, Ukrainian Territories are Occupied. Sanctions Policy Against Russia Must Continue

My position as the representative of the Republic of Poland has always been unambiguous. Ukraine must regain its territorial integrity – the integrity it had before 2014. We are calling things as they are. Today, Ukrainian territories are occupied, primarily Crimea, but also the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. These territories must return under Ukraine's full control, and all actions taken should be directed towards this goal. Our stance towards Russia in this context is unequivocal. We absolutely do not accept this. We believe that the sanctions policy must be continued, as it is the most peaceful way to compel a state to adhere to international law standards. Today, these standards are not being met, and we will always stand with Ukraine because Ukraine deserves to return to its full territorial integrity” - stated President Andrzej Duda after meeting with the President of Ukraine.

PMM:

The 'Solidarity' Movement Unites, Still Possesses Great Power to Improve Reality. The 21 Famous Demands Changed Not Only Poland's History, But Also Europe's and the World's.

The 'Solidarity' movement unites, and like few events from the past, it still possesses great power to improve reality for the better. It is a magnificent 'Solidarity' movement, unprecedented in world history, unique, exceptionally honored by us, Poles, in our hearts, churches, various places of remembrance, but also on the UNESCO World List are the 21 famous demands, because they changed the history not only of Poland. They changed the history of Europe and the world. Today, after years, we know that from these great peaceful movements, which do not use weapons, are peaceful movements, great changes stem. Changes that led to the sovereignty, independence, and freedom of the Republic” - Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said during the celebrations of the 39th anniversary of the signing of the August Accords.

PM:

I am grateful to today's "Solidarity" for your responsible fight for a better Poland

"I am grateful to today's "Solidarity" for your responsible fight for a better Poland. This is and must be a responsible fight for a better Poland. If we look today at our social policy, which a vast part of society praises, rejoices in, let us remember that at its source are strong economic foundations, and they were possible only and exclusively thanks to us treating the Polish state as a great value. We treated the institutions of the Polish state, including treasury and financial institutions, as a great value. There would be no these 80-90 billion zlotys allocated for social, family, and development purposes, if not for recovering money from the hands of tax criminals. I know that all the great wisdom of "Solidarity" also lies in understanding circumstances, possibilities, reaching for our dreams written on the banners of "Solidarity", but also being vigilant together with those in power, all those in power, so that the economic foundations are strong" - said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki during the celebrations of the 39th anniversary of the signing of the August agreements.
