Sejm Adopts Special Act on Westerplatte Museum

"For" the approval of the bill submitted by PiS regarding investments in the construction of the Westerplatte and World War 1939 Museum - a branch of the Museum of the Second World War in Gdańsk, voted 262 MPs, 164 were against, and one MP abstained.

According to the opposition, PiS is taking over Westerplatte with this special act. The President of Gdańsk, Aleksandra Dulkiewicz, has announced a press briefing for tomorrow at 10:00 AM at Westerplatte. - Regarding the taking away of this symbolic area from the city and the rejection of compromise - informed Dulkiewicz's spokesperson, Daniel Stenzel.
