Another Deputy Minister Nominated as Polish Ambassador
Next Thursday, the Foreign Affairs Committee will provide an opinion on the nomination of Bartosz Cichocki for the position of Ambassador of the Republic of Poland. The current Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs is slated to depart for Ukraine, a move President Andrzej Duda spoke about at the end of last year on Polish Radio: - The proposal is for Minister Cichocki, who is indeed the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, to go there [to Ukraine]. This would, in effect, be a strengthening of that political representation, and also a strengthening in terms of relations with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In turn, the Deputy Minister of National Defence, Tomasz Szatkowski, is a candidate for Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to NATO, as we reported on 300POLITYCE.
