President Andrzej Duda participated in the official opening of the Polish House in Davos, Switzerland. This initiative by Bank Pekao S.A. and PZU S.A. marks the first Polish meeting and debate venue addressing the challenges of the global economy at the World Economic Forum.
During the forum, discussions will cover topics such as the next phase of the global industrial revolution, artificial intelligence, robotization, challenges related to economic social divisions in the era of globalization, and climate change.
"The Polish House demonstrates the success of the Polish economy, which has been developing continuously for 30 years and is now classified among developed markets. It signifies that Polish companies are becoming increasingly international and are boldly expanding abroad. Bank Pekao aims to support them in this expansion, including through participation in events like the World Economic Forum in Davos," said Michał Krupiński, CEO of Bank Pekao.
The Polish House is located at Promenade 58, 7270 Davos. Visitors will discuss global trends and participate in conferences and panels hosted by Pekao and PZU. The venue will also host meetings with clients and investment funds interested in increasing their exposure to Poland.
