- Paweł was killed by hate. I am sure that this hate will not prevail. Goodness, which Paweł served, will prevail. However, at this point, I must say that this hate, which killed Paweł, was incited and fueled by morally discrediting him and attributing low intentions and dishonesty to him - this is how the so-called public media portrayed him. I appeal to those who have influence on our public life, and thus primarily to the rulers, to break with these practices. Let us draw lessons from this cruel lesson. May this tragedy, which befell Paweł, his family, shrouded Gdańsk in mourning, but also the whole of Poland, never happen again. - stated Aleksander Hall during Paweł Adamowicz's funeral.
