„Only individual elements of the reform have entered into force. We will be able to speak about the entirety of the reform and its assessment when we actually implement it. The matter is very resistant. There is huge opposition from part of the judicial community, especially from the part that previously had a vast sphere of privileges and was the sole decision-maker in the judiciary. This is one sphere related to resistance against the changes we are introducing, and the second is the total opposition, which did nothing during its time in power in Poland to improve the functioning of the judiciary, and is doing everything, both domestically, in parliament, and in Europe, to block and prevent us from realizing the entire reform” - said Minister Zbigniew Ziobro at a press conference on the occasion of 3 years of PiS government.
