Tusk:

Polexit is Possible Not Because Kaczyński Has Such a Plan, Since He Says He Doesn't. The Problem is That Cameron Also Didn't Have Such a Plan

It is not important to me whether Jarosław Kaczyński plans for Poland to leave the EU or merely initiates certain processes that will end in that. I have experience with Prime Minister Cameron. I worked with him day in and day out to avoid Brexit. It was he who came up with the idea of a referendum, and later did everything to keep Great Britain in the EU. And he led it out. It seems to me that the current ruling PiS ministers are less European-savvy than they should be. In short, Polexit, that is, Poland's exit from the EU, is unfortunately possible not because Jarosław Kaczyński has such a plan, because since he says he doesn't, we have to believe him. The problem is that Cameron also didn't have a plan to lead Great Britain out of the EU. I fear that in Europe, the desire to keep Poland in Europe at all costs will be somewhat less than in the case of Great Britain - Donald Tusk stated in a conversation with journalists in the Sejm. He added that the matter is extremely serious and the risk is significant.
