- I have not encountered [questions about Polexit in Brussels] at all. I can only comment that the opposition has problems with a substantive approach to our program, to the facts, to what our relations are actually like here in Brussels, and they are indeed fully partnership-based, very good, positive. We are achieving much more here than Poland could achieve before. So, in essence, these are probably some delusions of the Platform and the opposition if someone says so, because here in Brussels everyone treats it as a completely unserious slogan, and of course, I also treat it as such. It's a waste of time to address such completely fabricated scenarios. They are a kind of delusion of the opposition. But the campaign is nearing its end. I think that afterwards, some will sober up, and we will begin a more normal dialogue, I hope, as an opposition should be, a constructive, good, parliamentary opposition, not one that is street-based, foreign-oriented, or agitated. Such an opposition is very much needed. I want to talk with such an opposition, to debate on programs and arguments. We have shown what credibility is, what serious actions in the area of improving the state's fiscal and financial system are, and this is what is worth discussing, for the good of the Republic of Poland - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in an interview with 300POLITYKA and WP.

“It is important for politicians to learn to draw conclusions. This extremely politicized presidency in Warsaw has led to what we are all hearing about. Although I started from a position where nobody gave me any chance, today we are truly close. We all have a chance to oust this corrupt establishment. Now or never” - said Patryk Jaki, the ZP candidate for the mayor of Warsaw, in an interview with Jedynka radio. 

The Prime Minister clearly spoke about this yesterday. Yes, he was informed [about Zbigniew Ziobro's motion to the Constitutional Tribunal]. There is nothing extraordinary about this question. It is something that is practiced. Lawyers say what is convenient for them. The facts are that such doubts, questions directed to constitutional tribunals in other countries, are natural - stated Jacek Sasin in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego". - Today, there is an attempt to over-interpret the provisions of this treaty. It needs to be clarified. The Germans have clarified it - he added.

- A person convicted by a final judgment for an intentional crime prosecuted publicly cannot hold the office of president or mayor. That is clear - stated Jacek Sasin in a conversation with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Piasecki's Interview." As he admitted, the Electoral Code will likely require amendment. - It cannot be the case that individuals with final convictions work in public administration - he added.

“For 12 years of Civic Platform's rule, not even a project for the third metro line was prepared, which is a huge scandal. Civic Platform is building a mere 3 km of metro per term in Warsaw at a dizzying pace. I recently spoke with the legendary mayor of Madrid, who managed to deliver 50 km of metro in one term, while Warsaw delivers 3 km of metro and 600 meters of tram lines. It's pathetic. - She [Hanna Zdanowska] cannot effectively assume office because the law simply does not allow it. Whatever decisions the governor makes, the case will end up in court one way or another. Whether the governor decides that a commissioners' management needs to be introduced, or decides that we need to wait for a court ruling, these are the governor's competencies. - Warsaw is and has always been a very open city, I have no problem with that. I have friends from abroad here, but on the other hand, there is a group of immigrants who are truly dangerous. Fortunately, they are not here yet (in Warsaw – ed.), but if we pursued a policy like Paris, I was in Nice, for example, a few months before what we all saw, I was sitting in the very spot where that truck drove through. I'll say this, you can say whatever you want, I will not agree to similar scenes in Warsaw. Even if I'm called a xenophobe, I simply won't agree. I am going to a meeting with Chancellor Merkel. We will discuss matters related to Brexit, migration, and a few bilateral issues. Yesterday, Prime Minister Theresa May of Great Britain gave an important speech which, perhaps with the right approach from both sides, offers a potential way out of this stalemate, to break this deadlock. But we will see, it is not entirely clear how it will unfold – said Mateusz Morawiecki in Brussels, during a meeting with journalists. Of course, migration is a very important topic today. We are pleased with the conclusions of the European Council in June, and the first concrete signals from the Austrian presidency also show that they have understood the direction the entire Union should now take. One could say we will operationally flesh out what happened in June with specifics, on what the entire procedure should look like – the Prime Minister added.

“We will achieve a double-digit result [for PSL]. After these attacks, which have intensified particularly recently, but in reality, these systemic attacks by Prime Minister Morawiecki and his lies since July, I am convinced that this result is getting better day by day, that's why they are afraid. They are afraid of the only party that is in the center, that carries Christian values, seeks agreement, and wants to restore brotherhood to Poland,” said the leader of PSL, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, on Polsat News. 

- I can say the exact opposite; it wasn't the former minister Rostowski who said that. He said: there's no money and there won't be, even adding until the end of the term, as I saw somewhere, when talking about 500+, that it would blow up our budget. Meanwhile, we see that the budget deficit is shrinking and this year could even hold a very interesting surprise. I don't know exactly how this year will end yet, so I don't want to say, but expenditures are truly being controlled, they are under good control, and revenues are growing at the assumed pace, and we are even exceeding that pace - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in an interview with Radio Koszalin.

- I have said this many times, but if a second round occurs, I will appeal for even two debates - stated Patryk Jaki in a conversation with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus. He added:

"The [topic] does not matter, about everything. We will show what credibility and lack of credibility means. I am better prepared than my competitor, which is not breaking through in the media. I have more experience in government administration, local government. My competitor has not spent a minute there, I have two terms. He will spend the first four years learning what it's all about. - I will not introduce any revolution. Respecting everything that has happened in Warsaw so far, I will aim to bring many new development impulses, the guarantee of which is good cooperation with the government. Administration should primarily be effective. I know it can be done - stated Patryk Jaki in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus. He added that he did not carry out a radical reshuffling of people in the ministry, but rather set new directions and a new management style.

„This is good news for the capital city of Warsaw. We are opening another station that will connect large housing estates in Wola with the rest of Warsaw. This railway station will lead to the metro station. Integrating public transport, especially rail, is the most important challenge facing Warsaw today. I am glad that we are managing to do this in cooperation with the government. This is the future of Warsaw. Warsaw needs new development impulses, better investments. Such impulses can be provided not by war with the government, as PO proposes, but by cooperation with the government. Warsaw residents need cooperation with the government because, in cooperation with the government, Warsaw will develop faster than before” – said Deputy Minister Patryk Jaki during the opening of the railway stop on the Warsaw railway belt line.

- Today I wanted to tell you about a new project that I am announcing for the urban space, namely gardens of knowledge. We want to build 18 such gardens of knowledge in 18 districts. We all know how incredibly popular the Copernicus Science Centre is. We want there to be a garden of this type in every district of Warsaw, which will encourage young people to conduct their own experiments, and which will also encourage free thinking. It will be possible to perform experiments in the fields of physics, optics, and mechanics. All the instruments that will be freely available in this park will be usable independently, just like at the Copernicus Science Centre. Let Patryk Jaki make up his mind. Because he constantly changes his mind on every issue. He recently said that, in fact, we need to wisely continue what has been done. I suppose he checked that most Varsovians positively assess Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz's governance. However, for eight months I have been saying exactly the same thing: there are things that must be continued, for example, regarding the development of Warsaw in terms of infrastructure, and actually every opponent announces the same. However, I want to focus on priorities related to quality of life, i.e. issues such as education, senior care, healthcare, green spaces, and public spaces. Of course, there will be changes. I am a different person than Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz. First of all, I have young children, I am younger, more liberal, and above all, I believe that after this fantastic phase of infrastructural development, we must now focus on the quality of life. Voters see, they can have justified suspicions that the authorities are doing this deliberately to prematurely eliminate President Zdanowska's candidacy. - The fifth impulse we want to tell you about during this marathon is an impulse that Warsaw desperately needs. Namely, clean air - stated Patryk Jaki at a press conference.

- The "Clean Air" program is particularly important for Warsaw because, unfortunately, it is Warsaw that does not meet air purity standards. This is caused primarily by two factors: single-family homes, meaning emissions caused by heating, high furnaces, "smokers" (kopciuchy) in single-family homes, and this is mainly on the outskirts of Warsaw and beyond. This is one element of the "Clean Air" program, as we want to support all owners of single-family homes to stop heating with these "smoker" furnaces and switch to ecological, clean heating - said Henryk Kowalczyk. He added that the program proposes thermomodernization so that clean heating is not more expensive.

- I hope that the future mayor of Warsaw, Patryk Jaki, will cooperate excellently with us here, encourage everyone to take advantage of this program, because it is our common goal for Warsaw to breathe clean air - Kowalczyk continued.

- As you can see, it is not war with the government, as Rafał Trzaskowski or Civic Platform wants, but cooperation with the government can lead to this: already in the first new term, we will replace all the "kopciuchy" (smog-producing furnaces) in Warsaw - Patryk Jaki stated at a press conference. 

- Behind us is the Skra stadium, which is a symbol of the Civic Platform's sports governance in Warsaw. During every campaign since 2006, Civic Platform politicians have promised that if you elect us, we will rebuild the Skra stadium. This has been going on for 12 years, and you can see the results - stated Patryk Jaki at a press conference. - My seventh commitment, a development driver, is the reconstruction of sports infrastructure - he added. The eighth driver is systemic support for sports clubs, and the ninth is a cycling program with safe bike paths.

- I'm glad I can also join this campaign, supporting and endorsing an attractive investment project for Warsaw. Why does such a project make sense and why must it be implemented? I hope that from Monday onwards, it will begin to be implemented by Patryk Jaki. Today, the challenges facing Polish cities are to create attractive, high-paying jobs for the next decade – Jadwiga Emilewicz stated at a joint press conference with Patryk Jaki.

- Solutions of this type, which Patryk is talking about regarding the 19th district, are solutions known not only from Dubai. Today, major global metropolises are revitalizing and developing in this way – Emilewicz added.

- I was worried about the plaque. Yesterday I asked Ambassador Sadoś if he wouldn't lend me that plaque, perhaps for some charity event, and I was pleasantly surprised by his extremely courteous reaction - stated Donald Tusk in a conversation with journalists in Brussels. He added:

"I am not analyzing Minister Ziobro's actions in detail, but generally, the atmosphere concerning Polish authorities is not particularly pro-European, I would say, and I'm probably not discovering anything new here. It's quite obvious, and the leaders of the ruling party, PiS, have not hidden their at least ambiguous attitude towards the EU as such. And what seems most important to me are not the declarations of this or that politician, whether they are for or against the EU, but specific actions. Poland won a lot when it was a very active, pro-European, major player in Brussels and on the continent. Today, some decisions by the Polish government are causing Poland to be on the political periphery of the EU. I don't know if this is a conscious decision. I know one thing: it is very detrimental to Polish interests, of that I am convinced."

- Does any of the politicians currently governing Poland seriously think about leaving the EU? I don't know, I have no evidence of that, and I hope that's not the case, but I remember from history, and I am a historian by training, how many bad things happened in Europe or Poland not because someone wanted bad things, but because they didn't know how to do good things. Perhaps this is the case with PiS today - added the President of the European Council. He emphasized that he fears that due to incompetence, emotional ferocity, or an innate aversion to the West or Europe, someone might even unknowingly lead to a political catastrophe.

- I would warn everyone against such a march of sleepwalkers, who sometimes do not realize the consequences of their actions. They have different plans, and something completely different comes out in the end - stated Donald Tusk in a conversation with journalists in Brussels.

- President Kaczyński is very gracious. It seems that what we need on November 11th is a genuine gesture of reconciliation, not just some PR-driven ideas. I don't get the impression that the independence marches organized with the participation of PiS are the most blatant sign of reconciliation in Poland. I have my own experiences from years related to this march, and they don't particularly evoke feelings of reconciliation and peace for me. But perhaps something will change. Let's wait for the facts. What we truly need is more than empty slogans or games played for the audience. I would expect very serious gestures for future reconciliation from those currently governing Poland, not a one-off action, perhaps to satisfy needs related to, for example, local government elections. Today, a very deep examination of conscience is needed from everyone, I'm not just talking about my opponents, so that this isn't just a one-off kitsch of reconciliation, but something that will last for the future. For now, I don't see such intentions, to be honest - Donald Tusk stated in an interview with journalists in Brussels.
