PM on 300 and WP regarding Polexit: These are mere delusions of the Platform and the opposition. After the campaign, some will sober up, and we will begin a normal dialogue

- I have not encountered [questions about Polexit in Brussels] at all. I can only comment that the opposition has problems with a substantive approach to our program, to the facts, to what our relations are actually like here in Brussels, and they are indeed fully partnership-based, very good, positive. We are achieving much more here than Poland could achieve before. So, in essence, these are probably some delusions of the Platform and the opposition if someone says so, because here in Brussels everyone treats it as a completely unserious slogan, and of course, I also treat it as such. It's a waste of time to address such completely fabricated scenarios. They are a kind of delusion of the opposition. But the campaign is nearing its end. I think that afterwards, some will sober up, and we will begin a more normal dialogue, I hope, as an opposition should be, a constructive, good, parliamentary opposition, not one that is street-based, foreign-oriented, or agitated. Such an opposition is very much needed. I want to talk with such an opposition, to debate on programs and arguments. We have shown what credibility is, what serious actions in the area of improving the state's fiscal and financial system are, and this is what is worth discussing, for the good of the Republic of Poland - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in an interview with 300POLITYKA and WP.

08:05

Jaki:

We All Have a Chance to Oust This Corrupt Establishment. Now or Never

It is important for politicians to learn to draw conclusions. This extremely politicized presidency in Warsaw has led to what we are all hearing about. Although I started from a position where nobody gave me any chance, today we are truly close. We all have a chance to oust this corrupt establishment. Now or never” - said Patryk Jaki, the ZP candidate for the mayor of Warsaw, in an interview with Jedynka radio.

Sasin on Ziobro's Motion: The Prime Minister Was Informed. Such Questions Are Natural
The Prime Minister clearly spoke about this yesterday. Yes, he was informed [about Zbigniew Ziobro's motion to the Constitutional Tribunal]. There is nothing extraordinary about this question. It is something that is practiced. Lawyers say what is convenient for them. The facts are that such doubts, questions directed to constitutional tribunals in other countries, are natural - stated Jacek Sasin in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego". - Today, there is an attempt to over-interpret the provisions of this treaty. It needs to be clarified. The Germans have clarified it - he added.

08:15

Sasin:

Individuals with Final Convictions Should Not Work in Public Administration

- A person convicted by a final judgment for an intentional crime prosecuted publicly cannot hold the office of president or mayor. That is clear - stated Jacek Sasin in a conversation with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Piasecki's Interview." As he admitted, the Electoral Code will likely require amendment. - It cannot be the case that individuals with final convictions work in public administration - he added.

08:16

Jaki:

For 12 Years, PO Didn't Even Prepare a Project for the Third Metro Line. Warsaw Delivers 3 km of Metro and 600 Meters of Tram Lines Per Term. It's Pathetic.

For 12 years of Civic Platform's rule, not even a project for the third metro line was prepared, which is a huge scandal. Civic Platform is building a mere 3 km of metro per term in Warsaw at a dizzying pace. I recently spoke with the legendary mayor of Madrid, who managed to deliver 50 km of metro in one term, while Warsaw delivers 3 km of metro and 600 meters of tram lines. It's pathetic. Warsaw can afford more” – said Deputy Minister Patryk Jaki on Polish Radio I.

08:18

Sasin on Zdanowska: She Cannot Assume Office Because the Law Forbids It. The Case Will End Up in Court

- She [Hanna Zdanowska] cannot effectively assume office because the law simply does not allow it. Whatever decisions the governor makes, the case will end up in court one way or another. Whether the governor decides that a commissioners' management needs to be introduced, or decides that we need to wait for a court ruling, these are the governor's competencies. I have no intention of suggesting what he should do - stated Jacek Sasin in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

Patryk Jaki on the New PiS Campaign Spot: I Won't Agree to Similar Scenes in Warsaw, Even If I'm Called a Xenophobe

- Warsaw is and has always been a very open city, I have no problem with that. I have friends from abroad here, but on the other hand, there is a group of immigrants who are truly dangerous. Fortunately, they are not here yet (in Warsaw – ed.), but if we pursued a policy like Paris, I was in Nice, for example, a few months before what we all saw, I was sitting in the very spot where that truck drove through. I'll say this, you can say whatever you want, I will not agree to similar scenes in Warsaw. Even if I'm called a xenophobe, I simply won't agree. That's my assessment – said Patryk Jaki in an interview with Robert Mazurek on RMF FM's "Morning Interview".

08:39

Jaki on Trzaskowski's Strengths: "Generally, He's Indeed Handsome"
- What do you like about Rafał Trzaskowski? – Robert Mazurek asked in RMF FM's "Morning Interview." - He's fantastically good at sticking to talking points; I can't do that – Patryk Jaki replied. - But you're being malicious, and you were supposed to be nice – the journalist stated. - Generally, he's indeed handsome, there's no doubt about that. However, whether there are any competencies behind it, he already showed when he was the Minister of Digitization. Everything he did, he failed at – added the candidate for the capital's mayor.

09:12

New PiS Spot with PM Morawiecki:

We Need Your Support, We Need Your Mobilization, Because Our Strength Is in You.
There is no Poland A, Poland B. Poland is one. John Paul II said that in local government, the game is about whether power is for the people. And that is the motto of our politics – to simply help ordinary people. Those who cannot find work, who have trouble making ends meet. We write our program during thousands of meetings, with thousands of people – says Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in a new clip. We need your support, we need your mobilization, because our strength is in you, in your hearts, in your hope. Help us continue to change Poland! – appeals the Prime Minister. – I believe we will succeed. I believe that Poland, thanks to our actions, can be better, happier, more wonderful, proud. We will win! – he says. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_55g6i_DV6Q

PM on Migration: First Concrete Signals from Austrian Presidency Show They've Understood the Direction the Entire Union Should Now Take
I am going to a meeting with Chancellor Merkel. We will discuss matters related to Brexit, migration, and a few bilateral issues. Yesterday, Prime Minister Theresa May of Great Britain gave an important speech which, perhaps with the right approach from both sides, offers a potential way out of this stalemate, to break this deadlock. But we will see, it is not entirely clear how it will unfold – said Mateusz Morawiecki in Brussels, during a meeting with journalists. Of course, migration is a very important topic today. We are pleased with the conclusions of the European Council in June, and the first concrete signals from the Austrian presidency also show that they have understood the direction the entire Union should now take. One could say we will operationally flesh out what happened in June with specifics, on what the entire procedure should look like – the Prime Minister added.

09:27

PMM Meets Merkel in Brussels

On October 18, 2018, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki met with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Brussels. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the European Council summit. During the talks, the heads of government discussed issues of bilateral cooperation, including economic relations and the future of the European Union. They also touched upon current international affairs, with particular emphasis on the situation in Eastern Europe and the challenges facing the EU. The meeting was held in a constructive atmosphere, and both sides expressed their willingness to continue dialogue and cooperation. This interaction highlights the importance of Polish-German relations for the stability and development of the European continent.

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

It's Clear Something's Burning in PiS, Bad Polls Have Arrived. Everyone in PSL Feels a Frontal Attack, Even in the Smallest Municipalities. They're Trying to Steal Our Identity and Tradition.

It's clear something's burning in PiS, that some bad polls have arrived, because this frontal attack, the desire to issue and the issuing of a political death sentence on the PSL since 2015, when they took absolute power, is felt by everyone in the PSL today, because they are attacked not only at the Warsaw level. They are attacked in every smallest municipality. We are being slandered, they are trying to steal our identity, our tradition, to impersonate Witos's friends. It's simply vile” - said the leader of the Polish People's Party, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, in an interview with Piotr Witwicki on Polsat News.

09:47

Civic Platform's Headquarters Calls Out Jaki's Lack of Ties to the Capital and Criticizes PiS's Anti-Immigrant Spot
Hello, Patryk! It's me, Warsaw. We don't know each other well, that's true, but you need to stop confusing me with Prague. Swapping me for Sofia one time, for Dubai another. I want to remain myself; I've been through too much to fall for such cheap tricks. This city respects character and courage. You'll meet people here who want to help, who are sensitive, with heart. You seem to have a problem with that. Touched by the hecatomb of war, I cannot agree to the acceptance of fascist and racist slogans, which don't bother you at your marches. People from all over the world visit me, I think you'd have trouble getting along with them. I am friendly, open to everyone. That also doesn't suit you. You know what, you don't understand me, you don't know me. Maybe someday you'll mature, but for now, leave me alone. Warsaw https://twitter.com/Platforma_org/status/1052818894015143936

09:50

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

PSL Will Achieve a Double-Digit Result

We will achieve a double-digit result [for PSL]. After these attacks, which have intensified particularly recently, but in reality, these systemic attacks by Prime Minister Morawiecki and his lies since July, I am convinced that this result is getting better day by day, that's why they are afraid. They are afraid of the only party that is in the center, that carries Christian values, seeks agreement, and wants to restore brotherhood to Poland,” said the leader of PSL, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, on Polsat News.

09:51

PM:

Budget Deficit is Shrinking, and This Year Could Hold a Very Interesting Surprise

- I can say the exact opposite; it wasn't the former minister Rostowski who said that. He said: there's no money and there won't be, even adding until the end of the term, as I saw somewhere, when talking about 500+, that it would blow up our budget. Meanwhile, we see that the budget deficit is shrinking and this year could even hold a very interesting surprise. I don't know exactly how this year will end yet, so I don't want to say, but expenditures are truly being controlled, they are under good control, and revenues are growing at the assumed pace, and we are even exceeding that pace - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in an interview with Radio Koszalin.

10:10

Jaki:

If a Second Round Occurs, I Will Appeal for Even Two Debates

- I have said this many times, but if a second round occurs, I will appeal for even two debates - stated Patryk Jaki in a conversation with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus. He added:

"The [topic] does not matter, about everything. We will show what credibility and lack of credibility means. I am better prepared than my competitor, which is not breaking through in the media. I have more experience in government administration, local government. My competitor has not spent a minute there, I have two terms. He will spend the first four years learning what it's all about. I have been managing an 11 billion [złoty] budget for 3 years, one of the largest government budgets in Poland, and he only managed a tenfold smaller one for a while."

10:16

Halicki on PM Morawiecki: He's a man trying to buy a clean conscience with state money from Orlen
A vote of no confidence in the Prime Minister will be submitted, in the sense that Poles are concerned with – said Andrzej Halicki in an interview with Dorota Łosiewicz on TVP1's "Polityczny Kwadrans" (Political Quarter). - The tapes of truth, to use that phrase, show the Prime Minister's cynicism and hypocrisy, when he speaks with contempt not only about Poles, but even about outstanding athletes. When this comes to light, it is covered up with some statement about reheated cutlets. No, this is the real Morawiecki, this is a man who is a hypocrite. This is a man who is trying to buy a clean conscience with state money from Orlen – the Civic Platform MP continued. - All the worse for him [that he wasn't a politician at the time the tapes were recorded], because then he was truly himself, he was sincere in what he said, meaning cynical. If today he tries to cover it up with state money from Orlen, of course, Kubica has the right to sign such a contract, maybe it's even good for him, but it changes nothing – added Halicki.

10:20

Jaki:

I Won't Introduce Any Revolution. I Will Aim to Bring Many New Development Impulses

- I will not introduce any revolution. Respecting everything that has happened in Warsaw so far, I will aim to bring many new development impulses, the guarantee of which is good cooperation with the government. Administration should primarily be effective. I know it can be done - stated Patryk Jaki in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus. He added that he did not carry out a radical reshuffling of people in the ministry, but rather set new directions and a new management style.

11:10

Patryk Jaki at the Opening of the Warsaw Railway Belt Line: Integrating Public Transport, Especially Rail, is Warsaw's Most Important Challenge Today

This is good news for the capital city of Warsaw. We are opening another station that will connect large housing estates in Wola with the rest of Warsaw. This railway station will lead to the metro station. Integrating public transport, especially rail, is the most important challenge facing Warsaw today. I am glad that we are managing to do this in cooperation with the government. This is the future of Warsaw. Warsaw needs new development impulses, better investments. Such impulses can be provided not by war with the government, as PO proposes, but by cooperation with the government. Warsaw residents need cooperation with the government because, in cooperation with the government, Warsaw will develop faster than before” – said Deputy Minister Patryk Jaki during the opening of the railway stop on the Warsaw railway belt line.

Karczewski and Bielan Endorse Skurkiewicz in Radom

The tweet, from Senator Stanisław Karczewski's official account, links to a Twitter post with the URL: https://twitter.com/StKarczewski/status/1052854705817292800.

While the content of the tweet itself is not provided, the title indicates that Senators Stanisław Karczewski and Adam Bielan have expressed their support for a candidate named Skurkiewicz in the city of Radom. This likely refers to a political endorsement during an election campaign or a period of significant political activity in the region.

The nature of the support is unspecified, but such endorsements typically involve public statements, campaign appearances, or other forms of political backing aimed at bolstering the candidate's chances of success.

11:51

Nowacka:

In These Elections, There Is No Other Option. Either You Are For Democracy, For a Just State and Vote for Civic Coalition, or For the Destruction of Poland and Vote for PiS

- Voters have the opportunity to choose a good, social, left-wing program, which is an element of the Civic Coalition's platform. In these elections, there is no other option. Either you are for democracy, for a just state and vote for Civic Coalition, or for the destruction of Poland and vote for PiS - said Barbara Nowacka in Siemiatycze.

11:56

Lubnauer on November 11th: None of us will march behind the ONR flag, none of us will march behind a racist slogan
It turns out that at the central level, neither the President nor the Prime Minister can organize celebrations in such a way that we, for example, don't have to be ashamed that there are racist slogans in front of us. None of us will march behind the ONR flag, none of us will march behind a racist slogan. As long as the brown force, the brown aggression prevails at these kinds of marches, we will not meet there together – said Katarzyna Lubnauer in Siemiatycze.

12:16

Trzaskowski:

We Want to Build 18 Gardens of Knowledge in 18 Districts

- Today I wanted to tell you about a new project that I am announcing for the urban space, namely gardens of knowledge. We want to build 18 such gardens of knowledge in 18 districts. We all know how incredibly popular the Copernicus Science Centre is. We want there to be a garden of this type in every district of Warsaw, which will encourage young people to conduct their own experiments, and which will also encourage free thinking. It will be possible to perform experiments in the fields of physics, optics, and mechanics. All the instruments that will be freely available in this park will be usable independently, just like at the Copernicus Science Centre. This is a plan that we want to build in 18 districts - stated Rafał Trzaskowski at a briefing. As the KO candidate for the mayor of Warsaw informed, his 24-hour action will begin at midnight in Ursynów.

12:22

Trzaskowski:

I'm a Different Person Than HGW. I Have Young Children, I'm Younger, More Liberal
Let Patryk Jaki make up his mind. Because he constantly changes his mind on every issue. He recently said that, in fact, we need to wisely continue what has been done. I suppose he checked that most Varsovians positively assess Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz's governance. However, for eight months I have been saying exactly the same thing: there are things that must be continued, for example, regarding the development of Warsaw in terms of infrastructure, and actually every opponent announces the same. However, I want to focus on priorities related to quality of life, i.e. issues such as education, senior care, healthcare, green spaces, and public spaces. Of course, there will be changes. I am a different person than Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz. First of all, I have young children, I am younger, more liberal, and above all, I believe that after this fantastic phase of infrastructural development, we must now focus on the quality of life. But we can also achieve this thanks to the work that the Mayor has done - stated Rafał Trzaskowski at a briefing.

12:24

Trzaskowski:

It seems absolutely realistic to me that most regional assemblies will be defended

- I would like us to be able to govern in most regional assemblies, either on our own, KO, or in coalition with the PSL. It seems absolutely realistic to me that most regional assemblies will be defended - stated Rafał Trzaskowski at a briefing.

12:25

Trzaskowski Releases New Campaign Spot:

You Matter.

Warsaw Mayor Rafał Trzaskowski has released a new campaign video ahead of the upcoming European Parliament elections.

The spot, published on his official Twitter account, features a message of individual importance and engagement. The tagline, "Ty jesteś ważny" (You are important), underscores Trzaskowski's focus on the individual voter and their role in the political process.

The video's release signals the intensifying campaign efforts as the elections draw nearer, with politicians across the spectrum aiming to connect with the electorate.

Jaki Launches 36-Hour "36 Impulses" Campaign; First Initiative - Rebuilding Defilad Square
"A heated finish to the Warsaw campaign. We are fighting for an honest Warsaw, for an honest city. Not much is left. We started from a point where no one believed we had a chance. Today, we are getting closer and closer. Warsaw residents, it's now or never. Warsaw can be honest. I very warmly ask. Let's all go vote. Let's chase away this corrupt system. That's precisely why the "36 Impulses" campaign begins today. 36 hours, the longest campaign initiative in the history of electoral campaigns in Poland. We will be with you all the time in various parts of Warsaw" - Patryk Jaki said at a press conference. "At Defilad Square, which is a symbol of PO's incompetence, we are starting the first impulse. This is a representative location in Warsaw. Instead of creating a true Europe here, they gave properties to thieves. Civic Platform handed over properties to various criminal groups. A new vision for this place is needed. If I become the Mayor of Warsaw, you will see, while respecting all that has been good in Warsaw, we need new impulses, a new Defilad Square" - he added.

14:40

Jaki Continues the #36impulses Campaign:

Stop Narrowing Streets.

- We are in a place that is important from the perspective of the program I have been presenting from the very beginning. That is why I would like to highlight my fourth impulse during the fourth, and in reality, the tenth hour of our marathon, which we began by fighting for a fair Warsaw. Fourth impulse – stop narrowing streets. If I become the president of Warsaw, the new impulse will be a friendly communication policy for everyone, not an ideological fight against drivers, which is currently taking place in our city – stated Patryk Jaki at a conference.

Schetyna:

These are elections for everything, for Poland's presence in the European Union

"Today the campaign ends. Many important things have been said, many unnecessary ones, as is the case in every election campaign, but we are in Białystok also to say how important these elections are, not only in eastern Poland but throughout the country. These are elections for everything, for Poland's presence in the European Union. No one knows better than the residents of Podlasie how important it is to be part of Europe. It is Podlasie that is the gateway to the East" - said PO leader, Grzegorz Schetyna, in Białystok.

"We will do everything at the local government level as the Civic Coalition - we will not allow this government to push Poland away from the European Union, because only in the EU does Poland have a great opportunity, which it will seize. Today, this is our most important task. To emphasize with full force that Poland's place is in the EU and no government, no Kaczyński, Ziobro, or Morawiecki - will succeed in detaching Poland from the EU" - he added.

Hermeliński on the actions of the Łódź Voivode: Voters see, they can have justified suspicions that the authorities are doing this deliberately to prematurely eliminate President Zdanowska's candidacy

In my opinion, [Zdanowska] will be able to take office, will be able to take the oath, and fulfill her duties. It is difficult to prohibit the voivode from such an attitude, they have legal backing for this. Doing this a few days before the elections is probably not the best solution; at least it seems awkward to me. Voters see, they can have justified suspicions that the authorities are doing this deliberately to prematurely eliminate President Zdanowska's candidacy. This is not the best solution and it could have been refrained from” - said the chairman of the National Electoral Commission, judge Wojciech Hermeliński, in an interview with Justyna Dobrosz-Oracz for wyborcza.pl.

15:42

Jaki Continues 36-Hour Marathon:

It's Our Common Goal for Warsaw to Breathe Clean Air.

- The fifth impulse we want to tell you about during this marathon is an impulse that Warsaw desperately needs. Namely, clean air - stated Patryk Jaki at a press conference.

- The "Clean Air" program is particularly important for Warsaw because, unfortunately, it is Warsaw that does not meet air purity standards. This is caused primarily by two factors: single-family homes, meaning emissions caused by heating, high furnaces, "smokers" (kopciuchy) in single-family homes, and this is mainly on the outskirts of Warsaw and beyond. This is one element of the "Clean Air" program, as we want to support all owners of single-family homes to stop heating with these "smoker" furnaces and switch to ecological, clean heating - said Henryk Kowalczyk. He added that the program proposes thermomodernization so that clean heating is not more expensive.

- I hope that the future mayor of Warsaw, Patryk Jaki, will cooperate excellently with us here, encourage everyone to take advantage of this program, because it is our common goal for Warsaw to breathe clean air - Kowalczyk continued.

15:44

Jaki:

Not War with the Government, as Trzaskowski Wants, but Cooperation Can Lead to Replacing All "Kopciuchy" in Warsaw in the First Term

- As you can see, it is not war with the government, as Rafał Trzaskowski or Civic Platform wants, but cooperation with the government can lead to this: already in the first new term, we will replace all the "kopciuchy" (smog-producing furnaces) in Warsaw - Patryk Jaki stated at a press conference.

16:34

Jaki:

My Next Commitment, a Development Driver, is the Reconstruction of Sports Infrastructure

- Behind us is the Skra stadium, which is a symbol of the Civic Platform's sports governance in Warsaw. During every campaign since 2006, Civic Platform politicians have promised that if you elect us, we will rebuild the Skra stadium. This has been going on for 12 years, and you can see the results - stated Patryk Jaki at a press conference. - My seventh commitment, a development driver, is the reconstruction of sports infrastructure - he added. The eighth driver is systemic support for sports clubs, and the ninth is a cycling program with safe bike paths.

16:50

Emilewicz Supports Jaki and Praises the 19th District Project: "I'm Glad I Can Also Join This Campaign, Supporting an Attractive Investment Project for Warsaw"

- I'm glad I can also join this campaign, supporting and endorsing an attractive investment project for Warsaw. Why does such a project make sense and why must it be implemented? I hope that from Monday onwards, it will begin to be implemented by Patryk Jaki. Today, the challenges facing Polish cities are to create attractive, high-paying jobs for the next decade – Jadwiga Emilewicz stated at a joint press conference with Patryk Jaki.

- Solutions of this type, which Patryk is talking about regarding the 19th district, are solutions known not only from Dubai. Today, major global metropolises are revitalizing and developing in this way – Emilewicz added.

16:59

Tusk:

Some Polish Government Decisions Are Pushing Poland to the EU's Political Periphery

- I was worried about the plaque. Yesterday I asked Ambassador Sadoś if he wouldn't lend me that plaque, perhaps for some charity event, and I was pleasantly surprised by his extremely courteous reaction - stated Donald Tusk in a conversation with journalists in Brussels. He added:

"I am not analyzing Minister Ziobro's actions in detail, but generally, the atmosphere concerning Polish authorities is not particularly pro-European, I would say, and I'm probably not discovering anything new here. It's quite obvious, and the leaders of the ruling party, PiS, have not hidden their at least ambiguous attitude towards the EU as such. And what seems most important to me are not the declarations of this or that politician, whether they are for or against the EU, but specific actions. Poland won a lot when it was a very active, pro-European, major player in Brussels and on the continent. Today, some decisions by the Polish government are causing Poland to be on the political periphery of the EU. I don't know if this is a conscious decision. I know one thing: it is very detrimental to Polish interests, of that I am convinced."

- Does any of the politicians currently governing Poland seriously think about leaving the EU? I don't know, I have no evidence of that, and I hope that's not the case, but I remember from history, and I am a historian by training, how many bad things happened in Europe or Poland not because someone wanted bad things, but because they didn't know how to do good things. Perhaps this is the case with PiS today - added the President of the European Council. He emphasized that he fears that due to incompetence, emotional ferocity, or an innate aversion to the West or Europe, someone might even unknowingly lead to a political catastrophe.

17:02

Tusk:

I would warn everyone against a march of sleepwalkers

- I would warn everyone against such a march of sleepwalkers, who sometimes do not realize the consequences of their actions. They have different plans, and something completely different comes out in the end - stated Donald Tusk in a conversation with journalists in Brussels.

17:08

Tusk:

I would expect serious gestures for future reconciliation from those currently governing Poland, not a one-off action

- President Kaczyński is very gracious. It seems that what we need on November 11th is a genuine gesture of reconciliation, not just some PR-driven ideas. I don't get the impression that the independence marches organized with the participation of PiS are the most blatant sign of reconciliation in Poland. I have my own experiences from years related to this march, and they don't particularly evoke feelings of reconciliation and peace for me. But perhaps something will change. Let's wait for the facts. What we truly need is more than empty slogans or games played for the audience. I would expect very serious gestures for future reconciliation from those currently governing Poland, not a one-off action, perhaps to satisfy needs related to, for example, local government elections. Today, a very deep examination of conscience is needed from everyone, I'm not just talking about my opponents, so that this isn't just a one-off kitsch of reconciliation, but something that will last for the future. For now, I don't see such intentions, to be honest - Donald Tusk stated in an interview with journalists in Brussels.

17:18

Tusk:

I've heard PM Morawiecki's comments about playing with fire. In the room, he is very reserved and always friendly

- I have personal satisfaction from this title, because regardless of what PiS propaganda says on this matter, from the very beginning, and I believe very effectively, I have been working to protect the external borders - stated Donald Tusk in a conversation with journalists in Brussels. - I've heard some comments from Prime Minister Morawiecki about playing with fire. In the room, Prime Minister Morawiecki is always very reserved and friendly - added the President of the European Council.

17:32

Trzaskowski:

All of Poland, but especially all of Warsaw, will be watching us. We must all be at the ballot boxes.

- In these elections, we are fighting for common values. These are the most important elections in Warsaw for years. Many people have told me how important these elections are. This is the moment when we must all speak out. All of Poland is watching us right now. The values on which Warsaw was built are the values on which Poland was built. That is why these days, these final hours, are so incredibly important for us all to mobilize. On Sunday, we will all meet at the ballot box. All of Poland, but especially all of Warsaw, will be watching us. We must all be at the ballot boxes - said Rafał Trzaskowski during the election convention.

17:32

Trzaskowski:

It's Worth Knowing How to Secure Investment Funds, But Simultaneously One Must Not Yield to Any Blackmail
- This election campaign has shown one thing. That it is worth being together. Once again, we have learned that it is worth being together, that it is worth fighting for the most important values, the values that are important for Warsaw, for all of us. Politics should be about values that are important to us, and most importantly, about unchanging values. Because we don't change our minds. What has always been important to us is important to us today and will always be important. Of course, one must know how to plan communication, new metro lines, but one must also know and remember that a person must be free. It is important to know how to plan new nurseries, kindergartens, schools, but one must know that the supreme value is that we all in our city are free. It is worth knowing and realizing how to secure funds for investments, but simultaneously one must not yield to any blackmail - stated Rafał Trzaskowski at the Warsaw convention.

17:35

Trzaskowski:

There Is No Pragmatic Warsaw, No Ideological Warsaw. There Is One Warsaw.

- What is most important is the slogan that guides us, namely: Warsaw for everyone. Regardless of where they were born, how long they have lived in Warsaw, or their political views. This has always been the most important thing for us, and there is no other Warsaw. There is no pragmatic Warsaw, no ideological Warsaw. There is one Warsaw. Only one Warsaw, which we all create, which is created by all the people I have met on the streets of my city over the last 8 months - stated Rafał Trzaskowski at the Warsaw convention.

17:40

Trzaskowski:

This Sunday, We'll Show That Openness, Tolerance, and Shared Values Can Triumph Over Deception and Manipulation

- This Sunday, we will show that openness, tolerance, and shared values can win against deception, they can win against manipulation. This is what's most important. We will win because we are capable. There is no more effective form of protest against what PiS is doing in Poland than our presence at the elections - said Rafał Trzaskowski during the election convention.

17:44

Trzaskowski:

We Will Win Because We Can. We Will Definitely Win

- Our future will be decided this Sunday. That's why we all have to be together. That's why we all have to show what we care about. That's why we all have to go to the polls. We will win because we can. We will definitely win - said Rafał Trzaskowski during the election convention.

Jaki:

Small and Independent Businesses Will Once Again Be Valued as the Salt of Warsaw's Economy

- If I become the President of the Capital City of Warsaw, I will respect the people who run small businesses. They have worked hard for Warsaw. We will put an end to these increases in perpetual usufruct fees. Small and independent businesses will once again be treated as the salt of Warsaw's economy; I am convinced that it can be better developed. Therefore, we will find new areas in every district for traditional trade – said Patryk Jaki during a briefing.

19:35

Schetyna:

I Want Us to Win in More Than Half of Provincial Assemblies, to Have Coalition Capability

- We will win these elections. I am sure it will be a good result. Victory in the most important, largest cities, in these 10, 12, 14, and I think that the provincial assemblies will be a test, because they reflect the map of political geography. I want us to win in more than half of the provincial assemblies, to have coalition capability. Because PiS might win in some areas, but it is important to have a coalition majority to build a majority in the provincial assemblies, to have an influence on the formation of boards - stated Grzegorz Schetyna in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on Polsat News.

19:39

Schetyna:

SLD Attacks Other Opposition Parties, Also Other Left-Wing Circles, and is Asking for a Coalition with PiS. This is Deadly for SLD

- SLD is attacking other opposition parties, also other left-wing circles, and is asking for such a coalition [with PiS]. I believe this is deadly for SLD if they continue with such discourse and such winking at PiS, at Kaczyński, they will end up poorly - stated Grzegorz Schetyna in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on Polsat News.

19:42

Schetyna on PiS refugee ad: They shot themselves in the foot

- This topic doesn't exist, and it's clear that bringing up a rat, because that's what I'd call it, a nasty one at that, in style and form, I'm talking about that PiS ad. It's deadly for them. They shot themselves in the foot. This topic isn't even on the agenda in Europe - stated Grzegorz Schetyna in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on Polsat News.

20:25

Jaki Responds to Platforma with a Video:

We'll Fight This Establishment to the End.

- Hello Rafał. It's me - Warsaw. Before you use me for your propaganda again, please let me explain a few basic things. It's good that you're talking about getting to know Warsaw. It's high time you knew more about my districts. A girl from Rembertów is no excuse for you not knowing them. It hurt me when you said you didn't know what Warsaw should be. And I have many problems. Parents with children for whom there is no room in nurseries and kindergartens. Smog that returns every year because I was expanded without vision and spatial planning. Too few bridges for cars, which you think are no longer needed in Warsaw. You didn't even finish the second metro line, let alone the subsequent ones. Do you know why I'm telling you this? Because your colleagues, whom I've hosted in the city hall for 12 years, have led to this. Don't think that if you post a photo now without Hanna, I'll forget who you are. Warsaw is a city of ambitious people - not those who repeat the unfulfilled promises of their party colleague from 12 years ago. But I have to tell you that something more tragic has happened over all these years. My heart ached when people persecuted by kamienica cleaners ended up on my streets. When their dignity was stripped away. When it also affected those to whom I owe my freedom - the Warsaw Uprising participants. When they were compared to screws in a large warehouse. How did you not notice this for so many years? Really Rafał, get serious. Don't run around the city with a bench or tape. And finally, learn that Piłsudski was a Marshal, not a general. Oh, and one more thing. Since you're talking about floods. Please, think before you next film a spot with a colleague shouting "For Rafał". Because it has neither taste nor does it resemble Kordian - says the narrator in the clip published by Patryk Jaki on social media.

20:29

Rzepliński on the Prime Minister: His and his camp's push for virtually no opposition is very clear. I see it crumbling and them losing their nerve.

- Our Prime Minister, I think, has lost control of his language. In his opinion, opposition should disappear. His and his camp's push for virtually no opposition is very clear. I see it crumbling and them losing their nerve – said Andrzej Rzepliński in a conversation with Monika Olejnik on the TVN24 program "Kropka nad i".

20:35

Rzepliński on Ziobro's question to the Constitutional Tribunal: 'When I read this application, I had the impression that he definitely hadn't read what he signed.'
'When I read this application, I had the impression that he definitely hadn't read what he signed. I felt sorry for the prosecutors, the prosecutors from the former, when the Constitutional Tribunal functioned, of the General Prosecutor's Office for Constitutional Affairs. An excellent team of prosecutors, experts in constitutional law, experts in procedure, and now they are signing things like this application. I'm not talking about the content, but about the fact that they agreed to write it, and if they agreed, then it's bad,' said Andrzej Rzepliński in an interview with Monika Olejnik on the TVN24 program “Kropka nad i”.

20:48

Rzepliński on the President's Words Regarding NSA Securing Supreme Court Judge Appointments: 'If He Didn't Receive Such Information, I Understand That Practically the Entire Presidential Chancellery Should Be Fired'
- This would mean it's similar to the Oval Office of the President of the United States. Some documents, papers are removed from the desk so that he doesn't make a foolish decision. If he didn't receive such information, I understand that practically the entire presidential chancellery should be fired, new people need to be appointed, the president still has time for this, so that he is not deceived. Perhaps he wasn't deceived, perhaps he was telling us falsehoods - Andrzej Rzepliński said in a conversation with Monika Olejnik on the TVN24 program 'Kropka nad i'.

20:51

Jaki:

We Must Do Everything to Pull Warsaw Out of This Strange, Corrupt Arrangement. Now or Never

- This is the last moment. We must do everything to pull Warsaw out of this strange, corrupt arrangement. Now or never - stated Patryk Jaki in a conversation with Michał Rachoń on TVP Info.

- Let's remember what Warsaw is like according to Civic Platform. All Civic Platform governments in Warsaw ended in scandals. First, before Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz: the bridge scandal, the Warsaw arrangement, now we have the reprivatization scandal, as a result of which Warsaw lost almost 21 billion PLN. I still wonder myself: what else does Civic Platform have to do for people not to vote for them? - he continued.

20:58

Jaki:

Trzaskowski will be just a pretty face, with the Kierwiński network still ruling from behind. Do you want President Kierwiński?
I am the only guarantee that Warsaw residents will see what has been happening in the city hall for the last 12 years. Because I am convinced that the reprivatization scandal is just the tip of the iceberg. I am the only guarantee. Trzaskowski will hide everything under the carpet. I have no doubts. He will be just a pretty face, with the Kierwiński network still ruling from behind. Do you want President Kierwiński? - stated Patryk Jaki in a conversation with Michał Rachoń on TVP Info.

We Want to Level Disparities Between Celebrities Doing Well in Warsaw and Cultural Figures Needing Support
We will want to level the disparities between celebrities who are actually doing quite well in Warsaw, and people of culture who need support. One of the most significant programs for me will be a rehearsal room, a recording studio in every district, so that every young, aspiring artist, someone who also treats singing as a hobby, has a place in Warsaw where they can realize their talents – said Patryk Jaki during a briefing.

I Don't Believe Entire Buses Are Transporting People to Be Added to the Voter Register

"There's talk of entire buses transporting people [to be added to the voter register]. I don't believe it. I'm glad these people are coming forward. Perhaps in this group there are individuals who would try to register dishonestly, but there is very rigorous control from the village heads (wójtów)" - said the Chairman of the National Electoral Commission (PKW), Judge Wojciech Hermeliński, on "Gość Wiadomości" on TVP Info.
