- A project is already prepared, we have a draft constitutional amendment. Since the change concerns the Senate, we have decided within the political group, within the Law and Justice party, that it will be a Senate initiative. The draft is ready, it needs to go to committee, but I think we will proceed very quickly - said Stanisław Karczewski in an interview with Daniel Wydrych and Piotr Gociek on 'Sygnały Dnia' on Polish Radio One.

I do not agree with Professor Zoll. Moreover, the President has repeatedly explained that all the decisions he made concerning the Supreme Court are in line with what I said, with the law that is currently in force. One can also ask whether the resistance of the Supreme Court judges and their disregard for the provisions of the law is not anarchy - added the Deputy Prime Minister.

The National Council of the Judiciary adopted resolutions regarding the presentation of candidates for the Supreme Court to the President. Article 44, paragraph 1b of the Act on the National Council of the Judiciary clearly states that an appeal of an individual decision of the KRS does not suspend the finality of the entire resolution.
