At 9:30 AM, a press conference will be held at the Ministry of Justice to present a report detailing the losses incurred by Warsaw and its residents as a result of the privatization process. Patryk Jaki recently announced its presentation. A conference for the PiS candidate is scheduled for 4:00 PM, and for Piotr Guział at 8:00 AM.

At 9:15 AM, a joint press conference will feature PSL presidential candidate for Warsaw, Jakub Stefaniak, and council candidate Małgorzata Tyszka-Hebda, who will present proposals related to improving citizen communication with city institutions.

At 11:00 AM, Rafał Trzaskowski will hold a meeting with netizens. The candidate for Mayor of Warsaw will answer questions from Warsaw residents during a live discussion.

Also at 11:00 AM, Jan Śpiewak and the Wygra Warszawa coalition will present details regarding Central Park. Meanwhile, leaders of Civic Coalition will visit the Łódzkie region. At 11:00 AM, they will meet with residents of Łask, at 2:00 PM in Łask, at 2:30 PM in Pabianice, at 3:30 PM in Bełchatów, and at 5:00 PM in Radomsko.

- If one listened to [Radosław Sikorski], one would conclude that it was a very good moment, he very nicely exploited the fact that these tapes, as Jarosław Kaczyński once called them, are really tapes of hypocrisy, because they show that Mateusz Morawiecki is exactly everything that [PiS] so criticized in its time. Indeed, I believe that playing tapes in general is something that destroys democracy and politics, but when I look at the image of the sanctimonious Morawiecki, who was supposed to re-Christianize Europe, and I see a man who, on the one hand, claims the economy was developing well, if the average Pole, for a bowl of rice, without any doubt, arranges a gig for someone, and moreover, for someone who knows they are not coping in their current role - stated Katarzyna Lubnauer in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

- I think we need to seriously consider [submitting a motion for a constructive vote of no confidence]. We will certainly discuss this matter - stated Katarzyna Lubnauer in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego". She added:

"Votes of no confidence are a tool we use, among other reasons, because we are gagged in the Sejm when it comes to all other forms of expression. In fact, a vote of no confidence is one of the few opportunities to fully speak about what is going wrong in the country. Of course, it would have to be a decision of the coalition."

- I don't know yet [who I will vote for in the Warsaw mayoral election]. No, Włodzimierz Czarzasty didn't give me a chance to vote for the SLD candidate, because for various reasons I cannot vote for Andrzej Rozenek. Rozenek is the SLD candidate; Andrzej Celiński was supposed to be first. I would have gladly cast my vote for him. But I observed Mr. Rozenek for 4 years in the Sejm, where he led a group that wanted to destroy the SLD at all costs - Leszek Miller stated in an interview with Beata Lubecka on Radio Zet.

- [Andrzej Rozenek] was more vehement in his reactions than Palikot himself, and besides, I remember votes that were significant and important to us, for instance, when the retirement age was extended, when we were decidedly against it. Well, Rozenek voted in favor. When there was an attempt to organize a referendum on this matter by "Solidarity", Rozenek was also against it. When we tried to raise the minimum wage, Rozenek was also against it. If today he is in the SLD and is a presidential candidate, I have a certain dissonance that I have to somehow deal with - stated Leszek Miller in an interview with Beata Lubecka on Radio Zet.

- I don't know [what it's about]. As you've likely noticed, Aleksander Kwaśniewski is inconsistent. If you ask him why he recently said he wouldn't vote for Rozenek, he'll probably tell you he was misunderstood – stated Leszek Miller in an interview with Beata Lubecka on Radio Zet.

- Of course, I will vote in Warsaw for the candidates of SLD, that left-wing grouping that is running in the elections, because I see dozens of very competent local government officials on their lists, whom I know personally, and I will gladly vote for that list. Whether for the city council, district, or regional assembly - stated Leszek Miller in an interview with Beata Lubecka on Radio Zet.

I think Mr. Trzaskowski has a better chance, but in turn, his competitor is running a very effective and impressive campaign. So, anything is possible. In any case, Mr. Trzaskowski should remember that nothing is a done deal here, and one must fight hard until the very last hour – stated Leszek Miller in an interview with Beata Lubecka on Radio Zet.

I will see who convinces me more. Please remember that besides these two candidates, from PO and PiS, there are also those who are very close to the values of the left, the ideals of the left. A left-wing voter like myself, in turn, has a choice to make – added the former Prime Minister.

"As an outsider, I can wonder, analyze to what extent the revelation of this tape [involving PMM] or further information harms the Prime Minister at this moment, to what extent it will help in the local elections, to what extent it will harm. The question is whether voters are living by this. I think so [that it will have a limited impact on the campaign]. I'm looking at myself. A few weeks ago, I used to start my day by reviewing the press, the internet, what was on the radio and television, and I was up-to-date all day. Today I know that I don't really have time for that. Snippets reach me. Poles are busy with their work, their daily activities" - said Krzysztof Łapiński, former presidential spokesperson, on TOK FM Radio's Morning Program. 

– It depends on how this situation develops further, because we hear there are more tapes that implicate the prime minister even more. At the moment, Mateusz Morawiecki has one problem. Namely, these tapes suggest that he felt comfortable in the business and social circles of Civic Platform, that he had extensive contacts there. This burdens [his image] within Law and Justice – stated Leszek Miller in an interview with Beata Lubecka on Radio Zet.

– If nothing more comes out, then it will be small. Of course, Civic Platform is rightly trying to score points against its rivals, saying: well, when our tapes came out, you called them "tapes of truth." Now that it's your tapes, you're downplaying it, reheating old news. But because the so-called "hard electorates" in Poland are certainly not that subtly sensitive to such things, if nothing new, something truly devastating emerges, I don't think this scandal will have a major impact – stated the former prime minister, when asked what impact the leaked tapes featuring Prime Minister Morawiecki would have on the local election results.

„It’s not that [in PiS] no attention was paid [to the PMM tapes]. The Prime Minister, who is very active in the local government campaign, was, in my opinion, speaking as someone who deals with crisis situations, left without protection. It was only President Kaczyński who came out and said certain things in defense of Mateusz Morawiecki. But there wasn’t a front of a dozen or several dozen PiS MPs defending the Prime Minister. And there were quite a few arguments [to do so]” - said Krzysztof Łapiński in the Morning program on TOK FM Radio.

„Perhaps these were some communication errors. In such a situation, one could either defend defensively or attack to defend. In this situation, there were many arguments, possibilities for the Law and Justice camp to go on the offensive, not even to explain the Prime Minister, but to recall all previous conversations. Today it turned out that Mr. Minister Sienkiewicz is once again the hero of the media, and it would have been enough to recall the very fact that he was recorded, his various statements. Here, the PiS camp had many opportunities” - he added.

“An internal power struggle [within PiS] is unlikely here. We are dealing with speculation. Politics is a sphere of rivalry, even within one camp; this is not extraordinary. I must trust the journalists' accounts, who have stated how and from whom they obtained these documents, that they have analyzed them, and that's all,” Krzysztof Łapiński said on Poranek Radia TOK FM regarding the PMM tapes. 

- Jan Grabiec was also in a difficult situation. I don't know how long he was at that convention. This is a signal for us that when such things happen, we cannot be indifferent. We have to stand up and say: stop, this is not how one should behave - said Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska in an interview with Piotr Witwicki on Polsat News' "Polityczne Graffiti".

When asked what should happen now, as Grabiec did not react, the Deputy Marshal of the Sejm replied: - Everyone makes mistakes. I spoke with him and he was shocked. He should have reacted, but he didn't. - I am a woman and I certainly would have reacted. Our entire formation should react - she added.

- I would ask the spokesperson Mazurek, Madame Marshal, that since she is so harshly judging our colleague, who should not have behaved that way, she should also pay attention to her colleagues who appear at PiS conventions and face domestic violence accusations. We should all stand together against this and not say: better, worse - stated Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska in a conversation with Piotr Witwicki in "Polityczne Graffiti" on Polsat News.

“Not everyone [wants the president for a second term], probably. If you look at the polls, over 50% of society assesses the president well, 40% less. [The president's statement in conversation with Donald Tusk] might stem from him looking at the polls and seeing that there are also people in Poland who don't support him, who don't vote [for him]. Perhaps it was such a reflection. I don't know if it concerned the PiS camp” - said former presidential spokesperson, Krzysztof Łapiński, on TOK FM.

"No, I won't be there [at the convention] for the reasons I've stated. Yes, indeed [I received an invitation]. I said I couldn't participate. [Czarzasty] didn't need to consult with me about [anything]. I wasn't involved in the consultation process because if I had been, I would have certainly voiced my reservations [about Rozenek]. The idea with Andrzej Celiński was very good. They spoke about Katarzyna Piekarska - also a very good idea. They spoke about Sebastian Wierzbicki. And what was Rozenek's result 4 years ago? He got 2%. Is that a good result, 2%? I don't want to interfere in this. It's not my business. I simply make the decisions I deem appropriate," Leszek Miller said on Radio Zet.

- We managed to examine 2336 properties as developed plots, and in 583 cases, we obtained precise information about the usable area, which is not easy in the case of restitution decisions, as this information was often not included in the decisions. 754 examined plots are undeveloped, accounting for approximately 20-25% of decisions - stated Patryk Jaki at a press conference. He added:

"The value of privatized buildings is nearly PLN 18 billion, and for undeveloped land, assuming a conservative estimate, it comes to PLN 2.497 billion. Analyzing these indicators together, one can say that Warsaw lost PLN 20.374 billion. But that's not all, because in addition to property returns, cash was also returned, and between 2003 and 2016, the amount of PLN 1 billion 184 million was paid out in cash compensations, with almost the entire amount paid during the term of President Gronkiewicz-Waltz."

In total, therefore, the report indicates that Warsaw lost PLN 21.5 billion as a result of privatization.

- Allow me to offer a political commentary. We have the amount here that you see, almost PLN 22 billion. Do you know how much Warsaw has allocated for all investments over 12 years? Bridges, roads, nurseries, kindergartens, green spaces, external funding, EU funds, the metro, etc. Warsaw has allocated approximately PLN 23 billion for these investments. Almost exactly the same amount was drained as a result of reprivatization. So, one could say that Warsaw is today 12 years behind in development due to how Warsaw properties were handed over - stated Patryk Jaki at a press conference. - Given these numbers, I believe no one should remain indifferent. Regardless of their background, the media they represent, or their views - he added.

Last week, together with MP Tomczyk, we visited the Government Administration Service Centre because we had confirmed reports that billboards of the candidate for Mayor of Warsaw were being stored on premises belonging to the Chancellery of the Prime Minister. This clearly violates the Polish Electoral Code, using government administration, which is meant to serve all Poles, for election campaigning. This is not the first time in this election campaign that the state's infrastructure has been used by a PiS candidate for campaigning" - said Marcin Kierwiński from Civic Platform at a press conference in the Sejm. "We are filing a notification with the prosecutor's office in this matter, a notification concerning an illegal election campaign and exceeding authority by the head of the Government Administration Service Centre. We are filing a notification regarding the possibility of a crime being committed by the leadership of Mr. Patryk Jaki's campaign team. We are also requesting that Mr. Minister Patryk Jaki be questioned. There can be no acceptance of a serving Deputy Minister of Justice so blatantly violating the Electoral Code" - he added. "The truth is that the entire state has been turned into an election headquarters. Government parking lots on one hand, government administration employees on the other, employees of the Ministry of Justice, the verification commission – these are all people directly involved in Patryk Jaki's campaign. Everything is happening with public money before our eyes, and we can never allow this. Therefore, we are also submitting a request for verification activities to the National Electoral Commission" - added Cezary Tomczyk.

I think, considering all the circumstances we've had the opportunity to observe in recent days, this information in "Sieci" is probably not surprising. One could say the Supreme Court is entering the game, entering the electoral campaign arena, it's very clearly visible. Whether it's the Supreme Court, or if there are some other masterminds behind it... - stated Jacek Sasin on "Sygnały dnia" PR1.

"I am very concerned about the sources of TVP Info positioned close to Chairman Grzegorz Schetyna. I haven't heard of such sources. I think you [the media] have invented this type of news. I understand that this is meant to continuously heighten the atmosphere around the scandalous words of President Smogorzewski. I don't know where you got this information. For now, it appears to be completely unverified information, fake news," said Marcin Kierwiński from Civic Platform (PO) at a press conference in the Sejm, responding to a question from a TVP Info journalist about reports from the station, according to which Joanna Mucha was allegedly to replace Jan Grabiec.

- I have no doubts, because many statements, for example, by the spokesperson for the Supreme Court, have a very strongly political character. We have had the opportunity to listen to these statements; many Supreme Court judges are also speaking out and expressing themselves very politically. And at this point, the matter of these tapes, because they have indeed emerged, as everything indicates, from the Supreme Court to very specific media outlets, known for their very strong political engagement, political engagement on the side of the opposition - stated Jacek Sasin in "Sygnały dnia" on PR1. - This is not a coincidence; it actually shows that we are dealing with an organized provocation designed to strike at Prime Minister Morawiecki, to strike, as it were, by the very fact that he was recorded, because if someone were to delve into what is actually being said on these tapes, there is nothing that compromises the Prime Minister. However, the very fact, as I understand it, of the recording and the very existence of such a tape, alongside the tapes of Civic Platform, is intended to somehow strike at the Prime Minister - stated the PiS MP.

Jacek Sutryk, the current Mayor of Wrocław, has received an endorsement from former Minister of Culture and National Heritage, Bogdan Zdrojewski. This support was publicly announced via a tweet from Sutryk's official Twitter account, linking to a tweet from Zdrojewski himself.

The tweet from Sutryk's account, dated October 9, 2018, stated: "Bogdan Zdrojewski supported me! Thank you for your trust and belief in our vision for Wrocław! #Wrocław #JacekSutryk #Wyborcza" The linked tweet from @sutrykjacek (presumably Bogdan Zdrojewski's account, though the provided URL points directly to Sutryk's tweet and not Zdrojewski's original message) contained the explicit endorsement.

This endorsement from a prominent figure like Zdrojewski, who previously held a significant ministerial position, is likely to be a valuable boost to Sutryk's campaign as he seeks to retain his mayoral position in Wrocław.

- I wanted to show you a 150-page report from the Institute of Tax Studies, which was submitted to the public finance committee. It is a grand indictment of the actions, or rather the lack of legal actions, legislative changes, but also the practices of tax offices and tax administration, which clearly turned a blind eye to the colossal theft of tax revenues. In total, we can estimate this to be at least PLN 400 billion between 2008-2015. These are such immense sums of money that if we had them today, there would be no problems with significant pay raises for the public sector, police, teachers, and nurses - stated Janusz Szewczak at a press conference in the Sejm.

- Undoubtedly, the godfather of all these scandals under the PO-PSL government was Prime Minister Donald Tusk, because it was his officials, Minister Rostowski, Minister Szczurek, who were responsible for the treasury and the loss of such colossal revenues due to the Polish state - he added.

„I am curious if PiS politicians would really go so far as to paralyze the city and deprive us of a building [the Palace of Culture and Science] that houses theaters, a museum, and a swimming pool, which serves the people of Warsaw very well. And despite its history, which we all know, it is liked by Warsaw residents and has been accepted by them. I will not allow the Palace of Culture and Science to be demolished” – said Rafał Trzaskowski, the Civic Coalition candidate for the Mayor of Warsaw, during a video chat with voters.

The Law and Justice party (PiS) was in favour of us joining the EU, we are in favour of remaining in this EU, but we are also in favour of looking after our interests, Polish interests. Nothing has changed in this regard – stated Beata Mazurek at a press conference in the Sejm.

- We have repeatedly addressed this [the tapes]. It's a reheated cutlet from which nothing truly unfavorable for the Prime Minister results - stated Beata Mazurek at a press conference in the Sejm. - The fundamental difference is that this cutlet is being reheated at a time when we have local elections, whereas it was known several years ago - she added.

"I understand that we are in a special period now because we are fighting for the best possible result in the local elections, so we need to strike the strongest link, and our strongest link is Prime Minister Morawiecki, who has good ratings, pursues a policy of sustainable development, thanks to which Poles live better, and public opinion surveys show this, so we must strike at this link, which is the strongest. We absolutely do not agree to this"

„There is no doubt that Mrs. Mayor Hanna Zdanowska, even if elected as the mayor of Łódź, will not be able to take up the mandate of mayor and will not be able to perform this function. The situation also shows the double standards applied by the Civic Coalition, PO in this case, in supporting Mrs. Hanna Zdanowska. It is PO that says it respects the rule of law, respects court rulings. In this case, the Civic Platform, by continuing to support Mrs. Hanna Zdanowska, does not respect this court ruling” - Minister Jacek Sasin said at a press conference in Łódź.

„If she is elected, she will not be able to take up the function. In this situation, the voivode will be forced to ask the Prime Minister to establish a government commissioner in Łódź. I also appeal for a clear stance from the National Electoral Commission on this matter, because the mayor, even if she receives the largest number of votes in this election, should not receive a certificate of election to the office of mayor” - he added.

"The primary role was played by the officials of Mayor Gronkiewicz-Waltz. According to what the prosecutor's office has shown, they are primarily responsible for this criminal procedure, with a very important, auxiliary role played by a group of Warsaw lawyers," said Minister Zbigniew Ziobro regarding the reprivatization scandal.

"The two modes of operation - the work of the prosecutor's office, which aims to bring those guilty of crimes to criminal responsibility, and the work of the verification commission, which recovers real estate and can compensate for the harm done to people who have been immensely wronged - complement each other very well," he added. 

"This indictment covers nine individuals, including influential representatives of the Warsaw bar, including the recent head of Warsaw's attorneys, as well as very important, influential Warsaw officials subordinate to Mayor Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz," Minister Zbigniew Ziobro stated at a press conference.

It is striking that – and this also relates to the apolitical nature of the courts – it suddenly turns out that when a case reaches the Supreme Court, information flows from that SC to some media outlets that they can review the evidentiary material of the case. This raises the question of why the SC is showing such interest. Why is it that only certain editorial offices, which are not known for their great benevolence towards the government, have obtained such information? I have no complaints against the journalists. It is the right of a journalist, if they receive information, to use that information as they see fit, serving the media and public opinion, performing their own work. However, I do have a fundamental question for the SC: is the role of the SC to review an appeal, or to contact, establish relations with the media, and provide certain information and indications? This is a matter worthy of attention in the context of questions about the apolitical nature and distance from the hustle and bustle of current political dispute maintained by the Supreme Court - stated Zbigniew Ziobro at a press conference.

- I did not have access to the materials; were all these materials public? Or was part of it, for example, conducted in conditions of secrecy, because I know such motions were filed. I have media knowledge because I did not supervise this proceeding. In short, it is worth asking the question about the involvement and apolitical nature of the Supreme Court, if it is the Supreme Court that grants access, and only to a few among journalists, to such information. How is it that this happens before cassation is heard, how does it relate to the rigor of the law that also binds the Supreme Court? Perhaps in this regard, there should also be some proceedings to determine if there was an overstepping of authority by those Supreme Court judges who decided to disclose these materials in this way. If matters are disclosed, they should be disclosed to all journalists without exception and made publicly available - stated Zbigniew Ziobro at a press conference.

- We have decided to allocate significantly more funds to support senior centers, senior clubs, care for the elderly, and nursing homes, such as this one. For comparison, just 3-4 years ago, it was PLN 30 million for facilities of a similar type, precisely those we conventionally call senior centers. Today, it's already three times as much, and next year we are planning further funds, both for creating new centers, such as senior centers – we will establish about 300 this year. This is also many times more than a few years ago, and not only for creating centers but also for social and rehabilitation services, which are greatly needed – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki during a meeting at the Bonifraters Medical Center.

'We have a comprehensive program for seniors. We operate on the premise that there was a time when seniors did something for Warsaw. They rebuilt this city from the rubble, and now it's time for Warsaw to do something for seniors. I am strongly convinced that Warsaw can better utilize the potential of seniors. We have a program that we will consistently implement if we manage to win these elections. I will introduce a principle that all new apartments built by the city on the ground floor will have designated spaces solely for seniors and people with disabilities, so they will be free of architectural barriers. This costs nothing. We will want to use the existing housing stock and vacant units to create so-called double or triple apartments' - said Patryk Jaki, the United Right candidate for the president of Warsaw, at a press conference.

'The Senior+ Card – we are very keen on introducing such a solution in Warsaw, which is known in other Polish cities. Perhaps there are some discounts for seniors in Warsaw, but the first barrier for a senior is to find information about when they have a discount for the theater or other municipal institutions. We would like this system to be unified, which is why, in our assessment, a senior card is needed, where seniors will have access to all municipal institutions using one card. On behalf of Warsaw, it will be possible to negotiate discounts for seniors with private businesses' - he added.

- We are talking about three chambers: criminal, civil, and extraordinary control and public affairs. These [KRS resolutions] arrived today at 4:00 PM at the Presidential Chancellery. The next stage of work begins at the KPRP. - The [tapes] I have heard about indicate nothing shocking. I myself sometimes use strong language in private, and probably most of us do. I haven't seen any issues concerning job appointments. These are things taken out of context and described. There are more interpretations than facts in there - stated Piotr Gliński in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on Polsat News.

- It's known that in Poland we have a situation that is unacceptable in civilized and normal countries, meaning that in Poland, media owned by Western, foreign capital actually dominate individual market and media segments. Can you imagine a situation where, for example, in Germany, 90% of German local newspapers were owned by some Polish businessman? - stated Piotr Gliński in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on Polsat News. In his opinion, this is a pathological situation that the Third Polish Republic and the elites that governed it have led to.

When asked about media deconcentration, the Deputy Prime Minister replied: - Will it happen? It probably will. We have a draft prepared, but we will proceed calmly, step by step, in a lawful and civilized manner, just like all other changes and reforms being implemented.

- It was Donald Tusk who created the industry of contempt. It was Donald Tusk who created politicians like Palikot. It was Donald Tusk who divided Poles into 'mohery' and others, who ordered the revocation of grandmothers' ID cards, etc. He used these methods after losing the presidential election to Lech Kaczyński and initiated this division, which unfortunately continues to this day and is a tragic division for Poland - stated Piotr Gliński in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on Polsat News.

– I saw him [the Mayor of Legionowo] two or three times in my life, and he seemed like a very cultured person. However, like most of my colleagues, I was rooted to the spot, outraged by what he said. Truly unbelievable – stated Rafał Trzaskowski in a conversation with Dorota Gawryluk on Polsat News. – In my opinion, the matter is closed, because we have parted ways with the mayor, and it's hard to think about further consequences – he added.

„These are important individuals in the Warsaw City Hall, and this is an accusation of the largest bribe in the history of the Third Republic. Almost 50 million in bribes. In the upcoming elections, we will decide whether to oust this corrupt establishment that currently co-governs Warsaw, or if our capital will be honest on the centenary of regaining independence. This is what is at stake in these elections, which is why it is very important for all of us to mobilize and fight for an honest Warsaw in two weeks” – said Patryk Jaki, the United Right's candidate for the mayor of Warsaw, on "Gość Wiadomości" on TVP Info. 

„Warsaw is developing under the dictates of developers. Buildings, tall skyscrapers, are erected wherever they want, without remembering social infrastructure, i.e., parking lots, nurseries, kindergartens, green spaces. I want to change this. I want Warsaw to develop sustainably, exactly as it did during the Second Polish Republic, when everything was planned. The best possible architects planned Warsaw. Warsaw won awards worldwide precisely for how it was planned. Today, developers have trampled all of this because Civic Platform opened the doors so wide for them” – said Deputy Minister Patryk Jaki on TVP Info. 

„Rafał Trzaskowski has no support base of his own. His support base is the network of Marcin Kierwiński or the network of Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz. Kierwiński and Gronkiewicz-Waltz will truly rule. Their people will govern in Warsaw, not Rafał Trzaskowski, because Trzaskowski has no support base of his own. I believe he has no political achievements to boast about. He has less experience than the team we have to offer in Warsaw” – said Patryk Jaki on „Gość Wiadomości” on TVP Info.
