"Over the next few days, I will present the first 5 decisions I will make when I become the Mayor of Warsaw. One decision each day. - The matter is such a quintessence or, let's say, illustrates the standard of the Civic Platform's functioning in a nutshell. - I am looking at this matter from the perspective of a campaign manager. - Mateusz Morawiecki is a very good Prime Minister. Secondly, he had the courage to declare war on VAT mafias. Thirdly, he is the face of the PiS campaign. Fourthly, he is very active and effective and truly manages the country's affairs very well. "We are not taking away 500+, let's be clear, because there is no politician from any party or group who would take this benefit away from Polish families. However, we want this benefit to be fair. We don't want it to be the case that a woman raising a child alone in very difficult circumstances doesn't receive this 500+, while families in much better financial situations receive an additional 500+. We will certainly want to level the playing field here," said the Deputy Marshal of the Sejm, Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, on Radio Plus in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski.

"500+ was not created as a social program, but a demographic one. We would like it to remain such a program, to genuinely encourage families who are active and working to have children. We certainly want to propose a solution that would genuinely help families who need it, but not be a reason why parents don't work," she added.

Starting today, the staff and volunteers of Jacek Wojciechowicz's Akcja Warszawa will be distributing mandarins to passersby, in addition to leaflets.

- The mandarin is associated with a healthy lifestyle, vitamins, but most importantly, it represents the 'club colours' of Akcja Warszawa, which is the colour orange. In my opinion, Chairman Horała and the Law and Justice (PiS) majority are simply scared of Jacek Rostowski's hearing before the local government elections, and that's why the hearing was postponed. The leader of Civic Platform (PO), Grzegorz Schetyna, commented on the published tape recordings by Piotr Mariański (PMM). It's the continued liquidation of branches, this time postal ones. 988 post office branches of Polish Post were closed during the PO government. In small, rural centers, where people needed these places to stay connected with the world, to be able to submit various types of documents, and collect them. Next Tuesday, October 9th, two parliamentary committees will convene to consider the government's draft bill on the Local Roads Fund – this is one of Prime Minister Morawiecki's flagship announcements. The second reading – according to the preliminary schedule seen by 300POLITYKA – is to take place at the next Sejm session, on October 23rd at 12:30 PM. In practice, this means that the government's proposal will most likely be adopted immediately after the first round of local government elections. The vote could occur the following day, October 24th, during the morning voting block.

The former Minister of Digital Affairs, Polish Member of the European Parliament (MEP) from the Civic Platform (PO) party, Danuta Jazłowiecka, commented on the conference organized by Tomasz Poręba (PiS MEP) regarding the liquidation of post office branches.

“And quite rightly so! The consolidation of post offices is a necessary step. In the near future, drones will deliver mail,” Jazłowiecka wrote on Twitter.

- The Centre for Government Administration Services states that it entered into an agreement with Sup Ultimate S. A., based in Toruń, for the allocation of parking spaces located at the COAR headquarters at ul. “I have good news for 38 million Poles today. We have analyzed tax revenues in August and September, and I know that in the second half of the year, VAT alone will bring in 5 billion zlotys more,” Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said in Białystok.

“There is no such mechanism, no such possibilities for this to happen naturally. This means an above-plan increase due to certain tools and mechanisms that we have implemented,” he added.

The Polish People's Party (PSL) is set to present a new advertisement on Saturday that defines its dispute with the Law and Justice (PiS) party, and Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz is expected to deliver a proposal at the Łódź convention that will keep politics alive for the next few days - 300POLITYKA has learned.
