Thursday marks the third and final day of the Sejm's session. Two voting blocks are scheduled for today: at 9:00 and 20:00. At 11:00, the first reading of the draft budget bill for 2019 will commence. The substantive debate on this matter will occupy the major part of the day, concluding as planned at 20:00. Following this, the draft will be sent for further work in committees.
At 12:00, the Sejm's Committee on Regulations, MP Affairs, and Immunities will provide an opinion to the Marshal of the Sejm regarding the correctness of MP Małgorzata Zwiercan's statement on consent to criminal prosecution. The committee will also provide an opinion on a similar statement by Sławomir Neumann.
Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki will be on a visit to the United States. The Polish Prime Minister's schedule includes a visit to the New York Stock Exchange, laying a wreath at the monument to the victims of the 9/11 attacks, participation in the "Poland The Can-Do Nation" conference, a meeting titled "From Developing to Developed. Perspectives of the Polish business on a crucial turning point of its history," and attendance at the "An Evening of Conversation” Polish-American Business Collaboration gala.
At 10:30, Jan Śpiewak, a candidate for the mayor of Warsaw from the Wygra Warszawa initiative, will hold his press conference. After 18:00, another concert featuring Deputy Minister Patryk Jaki will take place in Grochów.
At 11:00, the President in Warsaw will present identification notes to family members of victims of communist totalitarianism. At 17:00, Andrzej Duda will visit Oświęcim, where he will meet with residents.

Neumann:
Resignation for being illegally recorded is absurd. I'm more interested in whether a second tape exists
"For years, Morawiecki has been portraying himself as a tribune of the people in a nice suit, and it turns out that before that, he was a 'bankster,' as Kaczyński or PiS poetically called it, meaning he was the head of a large bank. He was at that place where those bad people were eating octopuses. He was also eating those octopuses, or perhaps carpaccio. He allowed himself to be recorded."- We said then and we say today: the mere fact that someone illegally records someone else is not a reason for resignation. One needs to be level-headed – the PiS parliamentary group leader continued. - Today, I'm less interested in a resignation because someone was illegally recorded, which is absurd. I'm more interested in whether that second tape exists. Not the first one we've seen. That second tape, which the waiters are talking about, about which it's written in the interrogation transcripts, that on this tape Morawiecki might have said things that were inconsistent with the law – he stated.
07:53
Neumann:
Morawiecki Should Resign for Lying
- We are saying that [Mateusz Morawiecki] should resign because he lied. Because he lied and the court found him to be a liar. Such a person should not be Prime Minister. For the first time, the Prime Minister has apologized by court order. There has never been such a case - stated Sławomir Neumann in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".
07:57
Neumann:
Perhaps Mateusz Morawiecki's Anti-European and Pro-Moscow Policy Stems from the Tapes
- If we look at the various media reports about who might have been behind the tape scandal, who might have been at the end of that chain, the contractor, that Russian trace, then perhaps it is the case that the tape is in the possession of people who write in Cyrillic on a daily basis, for example, and perhaps it is the case that the entire policy that Mateusz Morawiecki is pursuing today, one that is anti-European and pro-Moscow, is also conducted for this reason. This is one of the scenarios. All of them need to be examined - stated Sławomir Neumann in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

Neumann:
We Took on Immense Responsibility and Raised the Retirement Age. We Paid a High Political Price for It

Mucha:
The 2019 Budget Project is the First in Many Years During an Election Year Without Visible Electoral Measures
- I have read press and expert commentary regarding the draft budget for 2019. I am in conversation, I have the honour of coordinating the work of the President's advisors, and I also speak with economic advisors. These opinions are quite widespread, suggesting that the draft budget for 2019 is the first in many years, during an election year, to be a budget where no electoral actions are apparent – said Paweł Mucha in an interview with Piotr Witwicki on Polsat News's "Polityczne Graffiti".
08:09
Neumann:
We Spoke About Retirement Age and the 13th Pension Almost a Year Ago
"Nobody has the right to feel surprised. However, we will be working together with Katarzyna Lubnauer and Nowoczesna on such solutions. They will be very useful to us here, so that all possible economic incentives are attractive enough that it will be worthwhile to work, to be an employee, for an employer to keep such an employee, rather than to retire."
08:11
- The National Development Council is acting dynamically. We have two advisors to the President. Appointed yesterday. Young blood, fresh blood. We also need this new perspective. A young person, but a local government official. A local government official with four years of experience already, a regional assembly councilor, a director in a serious corporation, a man with political experience. We are talking about Mr. Mariusz Rusiecki. The President spoke directly yesterday, appointing our advisor. He expects a message from this younger generation, the affairs of young people - said Paweł Mucha in an interview with Piotr Witwicki on Polsat News' "Polityczne Graffiti".
08:17
- I hope there will be more of them [groups in KO]. That it won't just be Civic Platform, Modern, Barbara Nowacka with her circle. Now the party of pensioners and annuitants has joined. Perhaps a small circle, but significant in terms of impact – stated Sławomir Neumann in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".
- Let's wait for the elections on the 21st [of October] and see if the desire presented by the Democratic Left Alliance, that they will always run independently because they believe an independent start is obvious for them, that they want to enter parliament on their own, if the Polish People's Party will look at it the same way. I believe that on October 21st there will be a certain re-evaluation of positions in many parties – added the head of the Civic Platform club.
08:35
Jakubiak:
For Heaven's Sake, I Have to Justify Whether I Have Support or Not Within My Own Organization
- It would be best if Paweł himself said what the author meant. All I know is that I have full support. For heaven's sake, I have to justify whether I have support or not within my own organization. I have that support and I have thousands of proofs of it. However, I am not putting myself in the line of fire here, I am going to fight for the presidency of Warsaw – said Marek Jakubiak in a conversation with Beata Lubecka on the program "Gość Radia Zet".
09:03
“In parliamentary elections [the issue of retirement age] is one of the most important. It's not that we have different opinions on this matter. It's a question of tactics, of the technical framing of this provision. [Lubnauer] didn't say that it needs to be raised. I'm saying that there's no difference between us because we believe that Polish women and men should stay in the labor market longer, should work longer. It's a question of tactics, how to introduce it” - stated the Civic Platform (PO) leader, Grzegorz Schetyna, on Radio Trójka.
09:10
„Today we are in the heat of the campaign and we are conducting it in parallel. We have been [with the PSL] in local government coalitions for 12 years, and it is a good coalition. We manage local governments effectively. We are going into these elections side-by-side, next to each other. I believe there will be such an opportunity and that we will talk” - said PO (Civic Platform) leader, Grzegorz Schetyna, during a broadcast on Polish Radio's Program III.
09:13
The leader of the Civic Platform (PO), Grzegorz Schetyna, when asked on Polish Radio Trójka if PO would run alone in future elections if the Civic Coalition (KO) does not fare well in the local elections, responded: "We'll see. I believe in this coalition. We'll see how it goes. I assume that this coalition will survive this campaign and elections in good health, achieve a good election result. It will have the opportunity to build majority coalitions in regional assemblies and win in most large cities. This is my goal. However, what decisions will be made later, depends on all of us."
09:17
Schetyna:
I Stand by My Statement That the PMM Tapes Were Meant to Cover Up the Radom Affair. I Believe PiS is in Turmoil, Bulldogs are Fighting Under the Rug
“I still believe [that the PMM tapes were meant to cover up the Radom affair]. I do not wish to retract this statement. I can talk for hours about what PiS politicians say about each other in the parliamentary corridors, about the number of conflicts, how they fight amongst themselves. I believe that there is turmoil there, bulldogs fighting under the rug. They are fighting each other intensely,” Grzegorz Schetyna said on Polish Radio Three.

In its morning voting session, the Sejm did not reject the citizens' bill proposing the abolition of mandatory vaccinations in its first reading. Consequently, the proposal will proceed to further work in the parliamentary health committee.
Only 5 MPs from the Law and Justice (PiS) party – including Patryk Jaki and Mariusz Kamiński – voted in favour of rejecting the bill. Additionally, Jan Dziedziczak abstained from voting.
The project stipulates that mandatory vaccinations would only remain obligatory in situations where such a requirement is imposed by a decision, or in the event of an announced state of epidemic threat or a state of epidemic.

- Yes, there are words there that should not have been said. It is a certain surprise for someone that even in private company, such words are rather reprehensible. I won't pretend to be a stranger here – said Tadeusz Cymański in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on the Radio Plus program “Sedno Sprawy”.
- His life path, the fact that he was an advisor, and that he had contacts, connections, that he knew these people, is no secret. This consternation took place at the moment when he became Deputy Prime Minister, and now Prime Minister. The most important thing is what he does. What people say is important. What they do is most important. Various things are said, people change their views. He cannot be the Prime Minister of a PiS government if he does not pursue the policy that is in our program, and he is doing it brilliantly – added Cymański.
11:02
In the morning voting session, MPs did not elect Agnieszka Dudzińska as the new Children's Ombudsman. 4 MPs from PiS voted against, 9 abstained, and 37 did not participate in the vote, even though - at least some of them - had participated in previous votes.
11:54
- Today, we want to talk about culture. In my previous role as First Deputy Mayor, I focused primarily on investments, not cultural matters. However, I continue to believe that culture is incredibly important for Warsaw, for every municipality, every city. Especially for Warsaw, as it is the largest Polish city. The Warsaw local government has a significant influence on what happens in the realm of culture. Therefore, in my vision, Warsaw must develop, but while developing and increasing its budget, it must also take care of spheres of life such as social welfare, culture, healthcare, and sport. Today, we are talking about culture, about proposals for culture. We are talking about increasing funding for culture by approximately PLN 150 million. This is, of course, a large sum on the one hand, and very general on the other, as we will present the details later - stated Jacek Wojciechowicz at the conference.
Among the proposals, the candidate for the Mayor of Warsaw mentioned a cultural voucher for young people, the "Golden 100 of Warsaw," which is a permanent scholarship for 100 talented children until they complete their studies, a yearly theatre ticket for seniors over 70 years old funded by the city, a Cultural Centre in Praga, the establishment of Cultural Centres in areas where they are lacking, such as Wesoła, Ursynów, or a Cultural Council advising the Mayor of Warsaw.

Ministry of Finance Memo is Further Concrete Proof of VAT Mafia Cover-up During PO Rule
- We wanted to address today a memo from the Ministry of Finance revealed by 'Super Express,' which is further, very strong, concrete proof that during the PO government's rule, there was an unwillingness to tighten the tax system, and that the activities of the VAT mafia were being covered up. When a director of the VAT department at the Ministry of Finance requests confirmation from the minister that work on amending the VAT law to tighten the system should not proceed and should not be undertaken, and this happens in March 2015, when the problem of the VAT gap, the leakage of tens of billions of zlotys, had already been known for years. Even then, there was a political decision to halt this work. This confirms that under the previous government, there was a protective umbrella over VAT mafias and fraudulent schemes. This also sheds new light on a series of attacks on the current government, which has implemented a system to tighten tax collection, reclaiming billions from the pockets of VAT mafias, while various politicians in Poland seem to act in their interest, aiming to overthrow the government that is preserving these billions for the budget and taking them from the mafias' pockets, to return to the way things were. Billions, instead of being in the pockets of Polish families and the Polish budget, were in the pockets of mafias - stated Marcin Horała at a briefing in the Sejm. The PiS MP added that in light of this information, the commission's work calendar will be adjusted to summon former ministers Szczurek or Nenemana as quickly as possible.

“Adrian Glinka traveled a long distance and was waiting for a decision from the Polish Sejm on whether this act, which guarantees many solutions for individuals requiring assistance, would continue to be processed or not. We are here because Adrian was not allowed into the Sejm. We sent a letter yesterday requesting permission for Adrian to enter for a press conference. We have not received a response to this day. The only response I have written down stated: Adrian Glinka is temporarily suspended, his entry is due to his prior behavior and the protest that is currently suspended. I do not know what this behavior was that prevents Adrian from entering the Sejm” - Marzena Okła-Drewnowicz stated at a press conference in front of the Sejm.

„I wanted to present my new electoral slogan for the final weeks of the campaign. With this slogan - "A New Impetus for Warsaw" - I will go until the end of the campaign in the coming days. Warsaw, the capital of Poland, needs a new impetus. I am strongly convinced that no good changes and things that have taken place in Warsaw should be touched. Warsaw is the most beautiful. In Warsaw, many of us realize our plans, dreams, we constantly have opportunities to develop our careers, we have our favorite places. Varsovians love Warsaw” - said Patryk Jaki at a press conference.
„The only thing that is absolutely necessary are new, energetic impulses, such as the construction of the third and fourth metro lines with government funding. Additional funds are needed for Warsaw to develop even better than before, to utilize its potential. We are launching the "A New Impetus for Warsaw" campaign. In the coming days, I will present the first 5 decisions I will make when I become the President of Warsaw. One decision each day. Tomorrow I will sign the first decision I will make if I become the president of the capital city of Warsaw” - he added.

The leader of PiS, Jarosław Kaczyński, will be a guest on "Gość Wiadomości" (Guest of the News) on TVP Info tonight at 7:57 PM.
15:32
"It is good that a moment of reflection has come for several parliamentarians from PiS or the ruling party's satellites. PiS, without any substantive reasons, and actually against substantive reasons, rejected the candidacy submitted by 79 non-governmental organizations, a candidate who enjoyed excellent opinions from academic circles, Professor Ewa Jarosz" - said Magdalena Kochan from Civic Platform (PO) at a press conference in the Sejm.
Referring to today's vote on the candidacy of Agnieszka Dudzińska, Kochan stated that "this is an inadmissible way of selecting candidates. This is a defeat for PiS, whose members cannot find a suitable candidate or vote against all substantive premises against a candidate who absolutely deserves to hold this position. I am glad that this candidate [Dudzińska] was not chosen".

Szumowski:
I am not a party, I can lead this dialogue constructively and act as a catalyst for agreement
„I am counting on goodwill and dialogue to prevail, and I don’t know if anything concrete can be achieved, but a completely new opening, new conversations, must begin. If not today, then very soon. I am not a party, I can lead this dialogue in a way that is constructive and work as a catalyst for agreement and constructive dialogue on both sides. I don’t want to comment on or judge either side. That is why I invited them to talk in my presence, to avoid judgment. I would like both sides, in a normal conversation, like one talks at home around the table, to finally reach some agreement and understanding” - said the Minister of Health, Łukasz Szumowski.

I'm glad the issue of local roads has been raised. We will build 5-6 times more than our predecessors.
"I am glad that the issue of local roads has been raised. We will build 5-6 times more than our predecessors. We will spend significantly more money. We have already established a fund of approximately 6 billion for local roads. This is the infrastructure needed to attract more investors. Everything translates into employee salaries, people's wages" - said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki on the New York Stock Exchange.
"I am very happy with what I heard here about Poland, with Polish accents on the main facade" - he added.

- Firstly, what concerns everyone here is the Warsaw bypass. The aim is for it to run in a way that is least bothersome to residents. Today, at the meeting, we also discussed access roads to the bypass itself. I have been to Wesoła several times, we discussed this in great detail. As a Member of Parliament, I also submitted parliamentary interpellations on this matter – said Rafał Trzaskowski at a press conference.
- The second issue is more SKM (suburban rail) and bus services, and better coordination of connections. This is incredibly important so that Wesoła is also best connected to Warsaw. This also touches upon road infrastructure. We discussed the necessary renovation of Trakt Brzeski and we will, of course, return to this issue and discuss it – Trzaskowski continued.
- The third issue. Wesoła without smog. An incredibly important issue, we discussed this yesterday in Wawer as well. We discussed this problem in Białołęka and Włochy. This is a problem of low emissions, and we will try to deal with this problem in Warsaw. There are already very good city and regional programs that reduce smog, but we need to ensure that these programs are even more active, that we replace boilers faster, and subsidize households. This is a commitment I am making here – added the candidate for the capital's mayor.

- Today we are building a free Poland. A free Poland and free courts mean just ones, not those where people are oppressed. Not those where arrogant people sit who disregard others. Not those where there are no ethical behaviors. Not those where there is corruption and impudence. These are free courts, free courts for free people, where these people are treated justly and honestly, and where a judge serves society, rather than expecting society to serve them. This is precisely a free Poland. A sovereign Poland is one where nothing will be imposed from outside. It is a Poland that will govern itself democratically – said Andrzej Duda in Oświęcim.
- This is the kind of Poland we promised you, and for this kind of Poland we will strive on your behalf. Until the very end, because we ourselves want to live in such a Poland, where democracy is real and the will of the nation is fulfilled in every respect. Everyone who holds power in Poland will be accountable. It doesn't matter if they hold executive, legislative, or judicial power. Not only will you be able to hold deputies, the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister, and other authorities, including local government, accountable. Judges will answer to you for how they perform their service to the Republic, that is, to you, ladies and gentlemen – added the President.
18:30
Duda:
I will strive for this until the very end and I believe Poland will be as the 'Unconquered Soldiers' expected and fought for – free, liberated, independent, just, and honest
„This is what honest democracy entails, the essence of a just state, and therefore, this is what the idea of a modern and secure state is all about. I am here to promise you from this very spot, just as I promised my compatriots during the election campaign and as I promise when I visit them in the counties and small towns, I will strive for this until the very end and I believe that Poland will be exactly as the 'Unconquered Soldiers' expected and fought for. And they fought precisely for such a Poland – free, liberated, independent, just, and honest” - said President Andrzej Duda at a meeting with the residents of Oświęcim.

- In 2019, Poland will surpass Portugal in terms of GDP. Now we have overtaken Greece and will be heading towards Italy within the next 5-10 years. This is a direct result of the change that occurred three years ago and the moves we have made since our government took power in 2015. Furthermore, there is significant room for foreign investment; despite certain other claims, we approach this with tremendous enthusiasm. Our economy has structural backlog due to its communist past. The structure of our largest companies still hinders the development of an innovative economy – said Mateusz Morawiecki in New York.
- This is a risk factor in potential times of crisis. To reduce such risks, a considerable amount of fiscal policy and venture capital projects are being implemented. Based on the Israeli model, we have created a fund that favors multi-billion and multi-million investments in our economy. We want to build broadly, while Poland's challenge is to escape the middle-income trap. In this regard, Poland's position is worse than that of developed economies. Only 5% of Polish exports are high-tech, so we still have much to do here [simultaneous translation by TVP Info] – added the Prime Minister.

A police car, part of the presidential motorcade en route to President Andrzej Duda's meeting with Oświęcim residents on Thursday, lightly struck a child at a pedestrian crossing. The incident occurred while the motorcade, traveling at a low speed, was turning. - the Presidential Chancellery writes in a statement.
Following the motorcade's stop, President Andrzej Duda approached the child. First aid was immediately administered to the boy by the ambulance crew, which was also part of the motorcade. The child was transported to the nearest hospital. The child sustained no visible injuries.

I'm not the First President - supposedly everyone says so, yet Morawiecki met with me. He was in the courthouse.
„I'm not the First President - supposedly everyone says so, yet Prime Minister Morawiecki met with me. He was in the courthouse. He probably didn't [address me as 'President'], I don't remember exactly. I think it's possible that one day this commissioner to replace the First President will be appointed by the President, or 5 candidates will be selected by the General Assembly of Supreme Court Judges, and then the President will choose the one he appoints” - said Chief Justice Małgorzata Gersdorf in "Fakty po Faktach" on TVN24.
19:59
Gersdorf:
I won't chain myself to a radiator or a chair. Guards might let me in, but I believe other measures will be used to prevent me from entering the Supreme Court.
"I won't chain myself to a radiator or a chair. I can come under the building [of the Supreme Court], but not inside. The guards might let me in, but I believe other measures will be employed to prevent me from going there" - stated Supreme Court President Małgorzata Gersdorf on TVN24.

Kaczyński:
The Good Change Would Have Been Impossible Without Morawiecki. The Attack on the Prime Minister is an Attack on a Man Who Harmed Those Who Abused Power, but Helped Poles
“Various questions are being asked. Recently, even today, questions about Prime Minister Morawiecki’s face. This true face is the face of a man who repaired Poland’s public finances and who, I want to emphasize, made it possible for us to implement various large social programs, for us to be active in this field, for the standard of living of the poorer part of society to clearly improve, although of course it is still very far from what we would wish for and what we are striving for. In short, that today Poland is better than it was, that there is a good change” – said the leader of Law and Justice, Jarosław Kaczyński, on “Gość Wiadomości” on TVP Info.
“The good change would have been impossible without this operation, without the former Minister of Finance, and now Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. If so much money is obtained, the budget is greatly enriched, then money is taken away from someone. Those who are the victims of this action, who have committed abuses, have very significant influence in Poland. This attack on Prime Minister Morawiecki is an attack on a man who harmed them, but greatly helped Poles, Poland” – he added.
20:18
“The case of Mateusz Morawiecki is truly the case of a man who has done something very, very useful and something very good for Poland. He works very hard for Poland, and as for the fact that he sometimes said something, and even used what is called a 'manly' word, I mean men, let him who is without sin cast the first stone” - said President Jarosław Kaczyński in “Gość Wiadomości” on TVP Info.
20:25
Kaczyński:
Morawiecki refused the offer of Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister in Tusk's government, and he discussed it with me beforehand
“I naturally have confidence and I believe that Prime Minister Morawiecki was a bullseye” - said Law and Justice leader Jarosław Kaczyński on TVP Info.
“I am convinced that he is an honest man, who worked in a certain environment for some time in his life and to some extent had to adopt its rules. I know that he also did a great deal of good during that time. Perhaps I am saying this publicly for the first time. He collaborated with us, he collaborated with the late Grażyna Gęsicka and Aleksandra Natalli-Świat, and later with Beata Szydło. When he was offered the position of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance in Donald Tusk's government at that time, he refused, and he came to me beforehand and we discussed it”
20:33
Kaczyński:
The Stakes in This Election Are That 'Good Change' Can Reach Many Local Governments and Synergies from Government-Local Cooperation Can Be Utilized
„The stakes in this election are that 'good change' can reach many local governments and that the synergy which I hope will soon come from cooperation between local governments at different levels, as well as between local governments and central government, can be utilized. Truly, a great deal of good can result from this synergy. Today, it does not exist, because in the vast majority of cases, this cooperation is lacking” - said the PiS leader, Jarosław Kaczyński, on „Gość Wiadomości” on TVP Info.
20:35
Kaczyński:
We are a Pro-Social Party, and We Are Not Ashamed of It
- Certainly, in the coming years, we will address various unresolved social issues. Social programs are very much needed, and we will continue in this direction. We are a pro-social party, and we are not ashamed of it. Some say you are socialists. We are not socialists, but we are people who have a lot of empathy, including for those who are worse off. Even for those who have had less success in life – said Jarosław Kaczyński in an interview with Danuta Holecka on TVP Info's program “Gość Wiadomości”.
20:37
Kaczyński:
We Simply Want Poland to Be Truly in Europe
"We simply want Poland to be truly in Europe. We will truly be in Europe then, completely, when Poles' wallets are as full as Germans' wallets, when on Polish streets there are new cars of the best brands. I would desperately want Polish brands to be among those brands too, but that is likely a distant future, but we must move in that direction, and when a Pole, as a tourist in the Middle East, stays in the same hotel as a German or French tourist" - said Jarosław Kaczyński, the party leader, on TVP Info.
20:44
Kaczyński:
We care for Poles, which is why we have a Prime Minister dismantling the VAT mafia, much like a famous Chicago policeman took down Al Capone and his mob.
„There are those who care for particular interests, and there are those who care for broader interests. The countryside is, of course, not a particular interest; it is an interest of a significant part of Polish society. We care for the countryside, we care for cities, we care for Poles, and among other reasons, this is why we have a Prime Minister who is dismantling the VAT mafia, much like a famous policeman in Chicago once dismantled Al Capone and his mafia” - stated Law and Justice party leader Jarosław Kaczyński on TVP Info.

- What should a politician demonstrate when seeking an important position? Patryk Jaki demonstrates by doing something very good in Warsaw. Is this a bad way to gain support? It's a good way to gain support, because the point is for Warsaw to be ruled by someone with ideas who can implement them. These are ideas in the interest of the citizens, and this is the situation we have. These accusations (regarding Jaki's work in the commission during the campaign – editorial note) come from those who are terrified by the prospect, and such a prospect exists, though of course, it is not certain, that a change of power will occur in Warsaw as well, which would seem to be a stronghold of the forces opposing us. Such a change would be a great fortune for Warsaw - said Jarosław Kaczyński in an interview with Danuta Holecka on the program "Gość Wiadomości" on TVP Info.
20:59
Kaczyński:
If you ask about the measure of freedom and democracy in Poland and Europe, we are at the forefront, and I would even venture to say in first place.
- I believe that if you ask about the measure of freedom and democracy in Poland and Europe, we are at the forefront, and I would even venture to say in first place. There is no other country in Europe where there is so much real freedom, because in the West, it is limited, among other things, by political correctness. At the same time, democratic mechanisms, despite all their flaws, allow the country to change, to push aside social ills and pathologies, because that is exactly what we are doing now. This is the best proof that democracy functions in Poland - said Jarosław Kaczyński in an interview with Danuta Holecka on the program "Gość Wiadomości" on TVP Info.
