Protesters to the Prime Minister: We Don't Need Empty Promises, We Need Money
- Mr. Prime Minister, please do not mislead society into believing that disabled individuals receive PLN 3,000 net in hand. That is a lie. Disabled individuals currently receive less than PLN 900 in hand. Our income is not taken into account. We receive this [support] for having given up our jobs; it is an entirely different form of income. We urgently request immediate assistance, for you to focus on our primary demand, to finally understand that we do not need empty promises, but money – PLN 500. We are waiting – stated Anna Glinka at a briefing in the Sejm. The protesters confirmed that the protest will be continued. They also appealed to other social groups for support and solidarity with them.
