Day 23 of Sejm Protest: Parents Appeal to President and Chairman Kaczyński. Hartwich: This Protest Continues, We Are Not Suspending It „I am addressing you, Mr. President. I am one of those mothers who spoke with you during the election campaign at Dwór Artusa. Mr. President, you reacted quickly and came here on the second day of the protest. You brought us great hope, you accepted our demands, and you promised improvement, but it hasn't happened. It is clearly evident that you can do nothing, Mr. President, so we ask for a meeting and to convey to us that the head of state in this country can do nothing. He does not want to address the issue of the weakest social group. And Mr. Chairman Kaczyński, with his supposed sensitivity, leaves us to fate” - said Marzena Stanewicz at a press conference in the Sejm. „This protest is not ending and we are not suspending it. Yesterday, words of lies were spoken. An MP from PiS, Mr. Gryglas, said that this protest would be suspended or ended. He said he was here with the protesting individuals, but he wasn't and didn't exchange a single word. In reality, we are neither suspending nor ending this protest. We heard that NATO summit is here on May 25th, 26th, and 27th, and we will truly be here until this summit, but we will stay even longer because we will not cease fighting for the lives of our children” - added Iwona Hartwich. „I would like to sincerely wish Mr. Chairman, from the bottom of my heart, good health and a full recovery, but we also want to ask him to address our problem and simply say one word: we will help you, and we will give you the green light.
