- It is noticeable that the atmosphere has improved [in relations with the European Commission]. That's a lot, and it must be clearly stated that Minister Czaputowicz makes far fewer gaffes than his predecessor. However, that is not enough, and Timmermans is clear - Brussels, the European Commission, and other institutions will judge PiS by the fruits of their actions. No one has ever questioned [the right to reform the judiciary]. I would be delighted if PiS withdrew some provisions of its reform, the most scandalous ones, which violate the separation of powers and judicial independence.
