Rafalska: No Work Underway in My Ministry to Change 500+ Payout Rules
- Media reports concerning the extension of the "500 plus" child-rearing benefit payout period (up to age 25 for students) and changes to the income threshold for granting this benefit for the first child are untrue. I unequivocally deny the above information - Elżbieta Rafalska wrote in a statement.
"I wish to emphasize that I have repeatedly informed the media on numerous occasions that no work is underway in my ministry that would change the rules for paying the "500 plus" child-rearing benefit. The current payout period for this benefit ends on September 30, 2018, and funds for this purpose are secured in the budget. I want to unequivocally state that there will be no changes until the end of the current benefit period, and no work is currently underway in my ministry on changes to the "Family 500 plus" program."
