- The case of General Kraszewski is a sad matter for me. I must say that I do not understand this matter and it pains me greatly - said President Andrzej Duda in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on TVN24's "Jeden na jeden". He added:
"I don't really know how to approach this because this information [about the withdrawal of general applications] – which I learned about through the media – greatly surprised me. I have never questioned the candidacies for general rank that were submitted by Minister Macierewicz."As he said, he decided to help General Kraszewski because he had collaborated with President Lech Kaczyński. President Duda emphasized that his concern is for the proceedings against General Kraszewski to be closed.
