-- FITCH RATINGS PRESIDENT: WE ARE CONCERNED ABOUT THE GROWTH OF POLISH DEBT - RZ STATES: “From our perspective, public finances should be stabilized. -- A WHOPPING PLN 363 BILLION. THAT'S HOW MUCH THE STATE TREASURY DEBT INCREASED IN 12 MONTHS. WE REVIEWED THE DATA BACKWARDS. IT HAS NEVER BEEN WORSE - JACEK FRĄCZYK IN BUSINESS INSIDER: “That's PLN 46.8 billion more in one month. The previous month with a higher debt increase was February 2025 (+PLN 52.3 billion). For comparison, the annual budget for the 800 plus program is about PLN 65 billion. Unfortunately, there was a record in terms of annual debt increase. In the 12 months leading up to May, it increased by as much as PLN 363 billion, or 20.1% year-on-year. The previous record was in August 2025 and amounted to +PLN 360 billion annually”.

-- THE POSTULATE OF STRONGLY DEFENDING NATIONAL INTERESTS IN RELATIONS WITH THE EUROPEAN UNION AND A DOMESTIC POLICY THAT PRIORITIZES POLISH CITIZENS OVER FOREIGNERS – ESPECIALLY UKRAINIANS – IS POPULAR – CBOS REPORTS: “Among respondents, postulates advocating for strong defense of national interests in relations with the European Union and a domestic policy that prioritizes Polish citizens over foreigners – especially Ukrainians – are popular. Poles expect not to have to compete with migrants for access to healthcare and housing, and not to share social transfers with them equally.
Respondents view support programs for weaker social groups (the sick, children, the elderly) favorably if they concern Poles. They do not perceive migrants as requiring similar assistance. They feel that Ukrainians are abusing their rights in Poland”.
-- ACCORDING TO RESPONDENTS, TRADITIONAL MEDIA HAVE LOST CREDIBILITY. RESPONDENTS SHOW A CLEAR TENDENCY TO CONSTRUCT NARRATIVES OPPOSITE TO THOSE REPEATED IN OFFICIAL NEWS CHANNELS – CBOS FURTHER STATES: “The healthcare system remains a symbol of state inefficiency and social inequality. Respondents are struck by the years-long queues to specialists (including in child psychiatry) and fees for medical services. According to respondents, traditional media have lost credibility. Respondents show a clear tendency to construct narratives opposite to those repeated in official news channels.
Respondents are tired of societal polarization and the 'Polish-Polish war.' They are saturated with negative emotions in media and political messages, based on fear, anger, and hostility. This leads to behaviors involving deliberate avoidance of news. The repeated reports from the war in Ukraine in the media further amplify this effect”.
-- TELEVISION BROADCASTERS ARE ATTRIBUTED POLITICAL AFFILIATIONS AND TAKING SIDES IN THE CONFLICT. AGAINST THIS BACKGROUND, POLSAT TELEVISION STANDS OUT TO SOME EXTENT – CBOS FURTHER STATES: “Television broadcasters are attributed political affiliations and taking sides in the conflict. Against this background, Polsat television stands out to some extent. It appears to be perceived as less politicized than other stations. Even more than the television station itself, respondents appreciate its most well-known journalist, Bogdan Rymanowski. – I somehow took a liking to Rymanowski. He's also from Polsat... I just can't remember his name right now... – Yes, but there's another one, also on Polsat... a younger guy. Rymanowski, it's known he's experienced. He knows how to ask pertinent questions. He also has some sharp retorts. When I remember that young man, I'll tell you later. He's also very intelligent, sharp. He's more from Interia, because Polsat is somehow connected to it. – I trust Polsat because they are somewhat impartial. (Warsaw, women) It seems that Bogdan Rymanowski's popularity and Polsat's position as a station relatively least entangled in the political conflict is not a coincidence. As early as 2024, in our measurements, we observed that among the three main broadcasters, Polsat had the highest percentage of good ratings and the lowest percentage of bad ratings. Percentage of good ratings for individual stations: TVP – 42%, TVN – 54%, Polsat – 64%. Percentage of bad ratings for individual stations: TVP – 28%, TVN – 23%, Polsat – 12%.

-- THREE WEEKS INSTEAD OF TWO YEARS. A CIVIC COALITION MP ENTERED THE HOSPITAL FOR AN EXAMINATION OUT OF TURN - PATRYK SŁOWIK AND JAKUB STYCZYŃSKI IN ZERO.PL: “Civic Coalition MP Małgorzata Pępek jumped the queue at the hospital in Żywiec for an examination. Thanks to the help of someone working at the hospital, also a member of Civic Coalition, the politician waited three weeks for the examination. Those who don't have such connections have to be patient. The waiting time in the normal procedure is over two years”.
-- THE MP IS SEEKING REVENGE ON THE HOSPITAL - FURTHER IN ZERO: “The hospital authorities were unaware of this. When they found out, they informed Pępek that she had jumped the queue and that the facility could not settle her examination with the National Health Fund. Pępek appealed for government support for the hospital in Żywiec until February 2025. Since receiving the letter, she has submitted three parliamentary interpellations criticizing the hospital authorities”.
-- THE MP'S QUID PRO QUO: “Let us add: when we first called Pępek, she said she would call back. However, she didn't hang up, and before we did, she asked a man what she should say. He advised her not to admit to anything. In a subsequent conversation, when asked about the man's identity, she stated it was a random patient”.

-- 3/4 OF HEADS OF MAZOWIAN HOSPITALS STARTED WITH PSL AND KO - GRZEGORZ KOWALCZYK IN BUSINESS INSIDER: “We checked 20 hospitals and key medical facilities in the Mazowieckie Voivodeship. In 15 of them, the heads are individuals who ran on the PSL or PO lists. It turns out that at the voivodeship level, heads of facilities who have political activity at various levels in their CVs with the support of PSL and KO are the rule, with rare exceptions”.

-- PRIVATIZING PROFITS, SHIFTING COSTS TO THE STATE. THIS IS HOW THE HEALTHCARE SYSTEM WORKS IN POLAND - MICHAŁ SZUŁDRZYŃSKI IN RZ: “Which, incidentally, leads to further pathologies, as private hospitals perform the most profitable procedures, while patients with chronic illnesses and costly complications are directed to public hospitals. In this way, we privatize profits and socialize costs. And it is for this reason that our healthcare system is and will remain inefficient. Money will leak out of it. And every year the deficit in the National Health Fund will grow, increasing by tens of billions. The blame for this lies not with this or that well-paid doctor, but with the absurd system that we have built over the last 35 years. Without its thorough change, we will only treat symptoms, not the source of the disease. But this change would require gigantic political courage, as it would infringe upon powerful interests”.

-- ABSURD FOLLOWS ABSURD IN THE SOUTHERN HOSPITAL AFFAIR BARTOSZ MICHALSKI ON THE ZERO PORTAL: “And now, to top it all off, Warsaw's Southern Hospital returned PLN 0.5 million to Dawid Kacpryk, which he had transferred to the facility's account after correcting dozens of invoices, even after the scandal broke out. The reason? Piotr Skiba, spokesperson for the District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw, informed that the money transferred by the doctor was returned 'due to the fact that it was impossible to properly credit these funds to the hospital's account.' Yes, he may have illegally collected remuneration for shifts he didn't work, but he can't return the money because the hospital doesn't know how to book it. Only Monty Python could come up with something like this”.

-- STREET POLL ONLINE AMONG CIVIC COALITION VOTERS, CONDUCTED BY TOMASZ GOLONKO: “– I voted for them. But it's not about the promises. They're simply incompetent – says one respondent. As he explains, he doesn't feel deceived by the election program. – Election promises are for idiots. If anyone believes them, I pity them. I don't feel deceived by promises, but rather by a lack of efficacy”.

-- I WON'T BE SURPRISED IF AFTER THE HOLIDAYS THERE'S A MOTION FOR A REFERENDUM IN WARSAW - AN EXPERIENCED POLITICIAN FROM THE CAPITAL'S CIVIC COALITION STATES IN AN INTERVIEW WITH INTERIA - ŁUKASZ ROGOJSZ IN INTERIA: “Other sources in Warsaw's Civic Coalition: – Rafał is defending himself, making various moves, but if we look at the last few days, the Rafał scandal is escalating. I won't be surprised if after the holidays there's a motion for a referendum in Warsaw. Capital city Civic Coalition politicians we speak with about the matter are themselves wondering what room to maneuver Trzaskowski has left. After ordering an inspection at the Southern Hospital, as well as dismissing its management board and supervisory board, the next to be pushed off the sleigh were two deputy mayors of Warsaw who supervised the facility in Ursynów”.

-- BOGUCKI: TODAY WE HAVE INFORMATION THAT THE PRESIDENT OF UKRAINE WILL NOT BE PRESENT IN GDAŃSK - 300LIVE: https://300polityka.pl/pl/live/2026-06-23
-- RETURN OF ORDERS, TOUGH RHETORIC, AND MOBILIZATION OF PUBLIC OPINION SHOW THAT KYIV DOES NOT INTEND TO LEAVE PRESIDENT NAWROCKI'S DECISION UNANSWERED - MATEUSZ LACHOWSKI IN WP: “– For now, there is agreement that the diplomatic rank of the Ukrainian delegation will be lowered. But the final decision will be made by the president – a person associated with the Ukrainian government tells WP. This would mean that Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko and the Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament Ruslan Stefanchuk would come to Gdańsk. What is worth emphasizing – the participation of Volodymyr Zelenskyy himself remains undecided. Our interlocutors directly suggest that the Ukrainian authorities were prepared for the scenario of Zelenskyy being stripped of the Order of the White Eagle. According to WP sources in Kyiv, the Office of the President of Ukraine had previously prepared guidelines for some state officials regarding the return of Polish decorations in the event of this decision being implemented. Former presidents of Ukraine were also said to have agreed on joint actions”.
