And he repeatedly announced that when he returned to power, his first targets would be judges and the media. As enemies of democracy, as forces that created an unequal playing field and used seemingly neutral institutions to block the government.”

— KACZYŃSKI'S GOAL WAS NOT TO LIQUIDATE THE RULE OF LAW, BUT TO OVERTHROW THE LEGAL ESTABLISHMENT – FURTHER KRASOWSKI ON WYSOCKI: “Kaczyński's goal was not to liquidate the rule of law, but to overthrow the legal establishment. He didn't subjugate the judiciary; he clubbed the legal elite on the head with his boot. This explains why the judiciary was not crushed like public television or the Constitutional Tribunal.”

What's worse – and I put this as an accusation – Kaczyński is capable of greatness. He showed this in 2022, after the invasion of Ukraine. The posture of Polish politics then was impressive, a hard slap in the face to Germany and France, and even America under the slogan: you led to this invasion, so you must supply weapons. PiS overturned the table at which decisions about the further partitions of Georgia and Ukraine were made. And yet, in the first months, Scholz and Macron wanted to sit at that table again.”

— THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LIBERALS AND PIS IS THAT THE FORMER POLITELY DENY RIGHTS TO WOMEN AND GAYS, THE LATTER OFFENSIVELY – FURTHER KRASOWSKI ON WYSOCKI: “Liberals pretend they were born yesterday. They don't remember that someone in Poland built a clerical state, and it wasn't the right-wing, but them – religion in schools, the concordat, property restitution, all of that was their work. Polish liberals only become liberals when the right-wing is in power. But when they have power again, nothing changes. The difference between liberals and PiS is that the former deny rights to women and gays politely, while the latter do so offensively.”

— TUSK IS A SEPARATE ENTITY. HE HAS NO VIEWS, NEITHER RIGHT-WING NOR LEFT-WING. HE HAS CONSCIOUSLY PARTED WITH THEM, CONSIDERING HOLDING THEM POLITICAL NAIVETE – CLAIMS KRASOWSKI IN AN INTERVIEW WITH GAZETA.PL: “Tusk is a separate entity. He has no views, neither right-wing nor left-wing. He has consciously parted with them, considering holding them political naivete. I value that greatly in him; a prime minister is not supposed to hold views, especially in our morally shrill era. A prime minister should know what the public's views are and skillfully navigate through this thicket.”

— DID SOMETHING HAPPEN TO HIM? QUITE THE OPPOSITE, IN SO-CALLED PIŚ COURTS, HE WON PERMISSION TO LAY A WREATH – KRASOWSKI TO WYSOCKI: “They lost their jobs, nothing more. I’ll give one example. The figure who most annoyed Kaczyński is a crazy man who has been laying a wreath at the monument to the victims of the Smoleńsk catastrophe for years, accusing Lech Kaczyński of their deaths. Did something happen to him? Quite the opposite, in the supposedly PiS courts, he won permission to lay a wreath. An ordinary person from the street, with no party or media behind him, insults Kaczyński with impunity every month.”

— THE MEDIA HAS LOST INTEREST IN REALITY. EITHER THEY ARE SAVING POLAND FROM KACZYŃSKI'S RULE AND AREN'T INTERESTED IN ANYTHING OTHER THAN KACZYŃSKI'S DECAPITATION. OR THEY FEAR KACZYŃSKI'S RETURN TO POWER AND ALLOW THE GOVERNMENT TO DO ANYTHING – KRASOWSKI TELLS WYSOCKI: “After 2010, the media lost interest in reality. Either they are saving Poland from Kaczyński's rule and are not interested in anything other than Kaczyński's decapitation. Or they fear Kaczyński's return to power and allow the government to do anything. The state of Poland has ceased to concern them, it has become indifferent to them. They have drifted into the same realm as Rymkiewicz; real and present-day Poland is not important to them, but an ideal and eternal one. Let’s agree – this is madness. Even if a dictatorship were to be established in Poland, it is not indifferent whether it would be a dictatorship with a high or low GDP…”

— THE FALL OF PIS CHANGED NOTHING. REAL POLAND REMAINS UNIMPORTANT. THERE IS NO PRESSURE ON THE GOVERNMENT TO REPAIR REALITIES – FURTHER KRASOWSKI ON WYSOCKI: “We also see clearly that the fall of PiS has changed nothing. Real Poland remains unimportant. There is no pressure on the government to repair realities. On the right, it is even worse. The only thing the right is interested in is listening to the moans of liberals. The louder they shout, the happier they are.”
