-- MORAWIECKI ON THE POSITIVE PROGRAM AND THE OPPOSITION'S REACTION - THIS IS NOT A SERIOUS DEBATE - he tells SE: "When we present a positive electoral program for all Poles, the opposition comes up with the slogan: 'Let's remove PiS from power!'. When we offer our compatriots funds for home insulation, a historically high fund for repairing and building local roads, or rebuilding local connections so that Poles don't have to cram into buses, the opposition says: 'Let's abolish voivodeship offices!'. This is not a serious debate about a better Poland. In addition, there are insults, epithets, and increasingly frequent personal attacks. Someone here forgets that public service is work for society, not for oneself and one's colleagues."

-- MORAWIECKI ON MEDIA CREATING REALITY: "I would like to point out that these tapes were published in 'Newsweek' in February 2016. Most of the threads. There was no reaction then. Today, foreign media, together with the opposition, have dug up something that was well-known. This testifies to the great power of media to create reality. That's the first point. One must have a lot of ill will to attribute to me the disregard for people, when I was simply talking about a certain mechanism to which we all succumb, regardless of profession, education, or place of residence. Namely, that – whether we want it or not – we are subject to the influence of advertising. Every one of us has certainly bought something unnecessarily, just under the influence of advertisements. I certainly have, and more than once. So I was talking about human nature, not about wisdom or its lack."

Comparing a political opponent to a harmful plague or vermin is an element of hate speech and the brutalization of politics. Schetyna should apologize for these words as soon as possible. And not only to those 'who felt offended', but to everyone. The democratic opposition has simply 'less freedom' in this regard. It must control its language more. Otherwise, it descends to the level of hate, in which PiS and its supporters specialize."

-- IN CZUCHNOWSKI'S OPINION, SCHETYNA SHOULD APOLOGIZE: "In this wave of indignation, there is a sense of joy and relief. 'You are all the same,' they say. It is a pity that Schetyna gave them a reason for this. All the more reason he should apologize. Because they certainly won't apologize."

-- LET'S COME TO OUR SENSES BEFORE THE MACHETES COME OUT - PIOTR SKWIECIŃSKI: "If there is no sobering up (and this applies to both sides of the conflict, as neither is without blame, including a supporter of the right who kicked a leftist in TVP's 'Studio Polska' after listening to various words from their authorities), if the verbal escalation, even if instrumentally carried out (because Schetyna said what he said, obviously instrumentally), goes in that direction, then eventually the machetes will come out. And then it will be impossible to maintain that it was difficult to predict."

-- MICHAŁ SZUŁDRZYŃSKI WRITES IN RZ ABOUT HOW PO IS LOSING CREDIBILITY: "Moreover, by criticizing PiS for dividing Poles and using harsh language, the Civic Platform is losing credibility, especially when its leader compares political opponents to locusts. We know very well from history what the dehumanization of the enemy leads to. Even if he loses the election here, he will likely achieve a good result, which will open doors for him for further career, but under the guardianship not of Ziobro, but of President Kaczyński himself."

-- GW ON THE DEPUTY MINISTER OF HEALTH FAVORING PHARMACEUTICAL CONCERNS - Judyta Watoła: "Work in the DPL is going uphill also because an open conflict recently erupted between Czech and the head of the department, Łukasz Szmulski. Czech would gladly see the previous head of DPL, Iga Lipska, in his place. Lipska managed the department for less than half a year. During this time, Czech and Lipska made many decisions favorable to the concerns (we described them in July and August). However, Lipska came into conflict with the team. Eight employees left. Eventually, she herself was forced to resign. Czech does not hide, however, that he is lobbying for her return. He wrote an email to Minister Szumowski stating that Director Szmulski is incompetent and lacks qualifications. But he got the addresses wrong and instead of sending it to Szumowski, he sent the letter to... Szmulski! – A wild quarrel ensued. An angry Szmulski wrote directly to the minister that it was Lipska who had led DPL to ruin – a ministry employee tells us."

-- NIEZALEŻNA ON PROBLEMS WITH THE MINISTRY UNEXPLAINABLY WANTING TO ABANDON THE CURRENT SYSTEM THAT WORKED WELL: "The Ministry of Maritime Economy and Inland Waterway Navigation has on more than one occasion received recognition for the Polish maritime communication system and marine rescuers for the effectiveness of rescue services. Therefore, the announcement in May of a tender for a new communication system, including the construction of completely new infrastructure, such as listening stations, the establishment of new teams to operate the system, and the takeover of tasks from the current operator, came as a surprise. According to experts cited by the operator, the construction of a new system may lead to a deterioration in the quality and capabilities of this maritime safety system. – Emintel built its stations in the best and highest possible locations on the Polish coast."
