The state should help them with formal and administrative matters [...] I am ready for that - he continued.

- If, dear ladies and gentlemen, changing over 200 laws is made out of an act on the status of a closest person [...] if Article 18 of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland is being destroyed [...] if attempts are made to encapsulate my election promise in the creation of a quasi-marriage that undermines Article 18 of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland, instead of resolving the issues of people who are probably with us here today, dear ladies and gentlemen, if, through ideology, people waiting for help from the parliamentary majority and the President of the Republic of Poland are taken hostage, then that is jugglery - he went on to say.

- One cannot act this way, dear ladies and gentlemen. I do not agree to this jugglery, and Article 18 of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland will always be the most important point of reference for me. However, I believe that the ruling party will come to their senses and enter into further dialogue with the President of the Republic of Poland, and those who are with us here, or perhaps watching us, will receive, dear ladies and gentlemen, what we called at the very beginning a technical act enabling people to live normally - he added.

- We want to help, but we do not want to deceive and we do not want to be deceived - he stressed.
