Cancer Patients Are and Will Be Prioritized. The Łódź Situation Should Not Have Happened; the Ministry Has Launched an Investigation

- Cancer patients in Poland are treated with priority, and the diagnostics and treatment of cancer patients are secured. The financing for individuals with oncological problems is secured in the National Health Fund (NFZ) budget - said Adam Szłapka at a press conference after a government meeting.

- You are asking about a specific situation in Łódź, which simply should not have happened, and the Ministry of Health has already launched an appropriate investigation into this matter. There are results. An employee simply sent this person away. Such situations simply cannot happen and will be resolved every time - he explained.

- Cancer patients are and will be treated with priority in the Polish healthcare system - he assured.
